Looking at Ticketmaster, looks like the event is very close to selling out, unless they only have certain amount of seats opened right now. But looking at what's around ringside, they've got 3rd row seats across from the ramp for $7,000. $7,000, seriously??? I've never gone to a Superbowl, but I've heard it can be up there in price, too, which I think is just way too much for a football game. And I'm sure someone is going to buy these seats, but I am just completely amazed WWE keeps raising their prices for WrestleMania every year to get to this point. My WrestleMania 25 ticket in Houston was the top price point of $750 or something like that. I bought tickets for 26 for almost $1,000, 6th row ringside, but ended up selling them on eBay and not going. My 32 ticket was 5th row ringside for $350 or so, but I paid over $1,000 cause I got them off Stubhub. But wow, $7,000, you've got to be kidding me. I'm a huge fan, but not that big of a fan I guess. And you're telling me those same 3 guys who get the same seats front row camera side at every WWE PPV and NXT TakeOver are paying all that money and scoring the exact same seats for that amount of money every time? This is just insane. I would rather spend less than half of this to fly to the UK for a Progress Wrestling show, and it'd probably be an even better show.

Doing my first Mania this year because I just have to go to NJPW at MSG and I'm not all that far away ... but yeah, getting Mania tickets this morning was absurd. Absolutely absurd. They only released a few ROWS of tickets in desirable sections, almost no tickets in the hard cam facing center 100 section and NONE of the 3 main 100 sections on the actual hard cam side. Like 20 times I had a seat clicked on and it would freeze or bounce back on me. I finally grabbed a decent seat just off center in the 200 level when a few came up ... of course, like an hour later one seat magically popped up in the center 100 section that I clicked on. But I couldn't charge a combined $1,000 on my card in one fell swoop not knowing if I'd get my money back on my original ticket, so I passed. The new ticket was then gone in a second, lol. I saw one seat pop up this morning that was fourth row for $2500 ... just too much for me. But then suddenly later on they released the row ahead of it that you mentioned for $7,000 -- which is INSANE. Maybe I should've bought that $2500 ticket and tried to flip it at those prices. I can't imagine buying one of those tickets knowing I spent $5000 more than a person right behind me. I'm hoping more 100 center tickets will trickle out eventually and then maybe I'll grab one and flip my current seat, but man, what a mess.

You have to realize, at this point it’s people reselling them which is why it’s so high.

People are not allowed to resell through TM for this event. It seems like a scam, there's been articles about it. Later today they released almost the exact same seats I bought earlier for $300 on the opposite/equivalent side of the field as "Platinum Seats" for $800. Again, from Ticketmaster, not scalpers or StubHub. It's nuts.

The idea Ticketmaster themselves sells "platinum" seats for more, when they first advertise the highest ticket price being much lower, is ridiculous. At a house show I wanted to go to earlier this year in my town, they were selling front row "platinum" seats for like $500. I said, I'm going to wait until the week of and they'll drop them to $100. The weeks grew closer and I got some decent seats for less than $100. Then one day I checked, just out of curiosity, and at some point they had opened up ringside seats for $100 then. But I already gotten my tickets, and at that point, I was just really let down WWE and Ticketmaster played this game. It makes it very difficult to keep being a paying fan. Like, I'd rather spend the money to go to meet & greets and just watch every show at home.

It's really shady of them, but if they can get away with it, it's hard to blame them. I've gone to significantly fewer shows around here in the past few years, this being one of my reasons.

Same here. But WWE allows it, so shame on them as well.

Pretty sure some of the people who are always first row are related to someone in the company or something like that.

7k is too much for me to spend on an event. Especially when Wrestlemania hasn't been all that great these past few years.

Is it just for WM? I found front row camera side for $8, but it included Takeover, HOF, Raw and Smackdown. It may have included hotel as well; I can’t remember since I wasn’t seriously planning to go.

Although, maybe he had someone on the inside help him get the best seats lol

Not like the green shirt guy, the long haired guy, and the guy who use to always wear a Squared Circle restaurant shirt who know always wears the same Collar Elbow shirt. Like someone said earlier, they must be friends or related with someone working with WWE, which to me, says those 3 are not true fans because they feel they HAVE to sit on the camera side knowing everything is shot in the opposite direction, they clearly just want to be seen because they wear the exact same thing every time and have little to no reaction to anything done in the ring. I don’t understand why WWE allows that.

I essentially made this post in the travel plan thread. I could barely bring myself to spend the $300 to sit in the 200s. The normal sideline lowers are $900... It’s a conversation about value. I don’t think WWE can make good on tickets valued at thousands of dollars. Especially in the era of these 7 hour Manias that wear you down as a viewer.
I hope I’m wrong. I hope we get AJ vs Bryan, Brock vs Rollins, Becky vs Ronda and HBK vs Taker and I end up feeling like I under paid. My advice with Mania on my fourth go-round is to treat it like a side dish and not the main event. The weekend as a whole has tons to offer and that’s the experience of Mania. I mean spend your money however you want, but I feel like my expectations after spending $5k on a ticket would be unreasonable, which wouldn’t be my fault.

Good lord. I know it has been a while since I went to WM24 but Jesus. I sat 4th row and spent $400.
