I didn't like Mike at first when he was in ROH, but he won me over. I didn't see his Impact work, but I heard it was good. Back when he was in ROH I thought for sure he'd be someone wwe would want because of his look. He's been criminally misused by wwe. I hope he gets his release, but wwe won't let him out of prison(that's what being under wwe contract is).

I like Mike. I want to see him be more involved. But every time they have a plan/story for him, Maria gets pregnant. Which is more important. But don't be upset with the company when some of this is on you. Most importantly, certainly don't run to the internet when this could have been conducted backstage.

I'm just a guy on the internet with no real firsthand knowledge of what's really at play, but just from that very, very distant perspective, I could totally understand if there were a perception that existed in which Mike and Maria were painted as difficult to work with. It seems like every time the ball is able to get rolling again with them, something comes up. It's not my place or intention to begrudge them their familial aspirations or (especially) Mike's pursuit of sobriety. That said, I can see it being a sour point from a business perspective, because now we're talking about two signees who've yet to really get off the ground without an elevated amount of start-stop-start-stop. In that sense, I think I'm committing less to a talent in those shoes as well.
The downside for him is the perceived baggage, assuming he does get granted his release. On the basis of what little I know, I can only see ROH picking him back up, if no other reason than their increased need for marketable and familiar names, especially with Marty on the way out. Bennett's got to at least have some semblance of value to the company that just threw as much as they did at Matt f'ing Taven.

Mike and Maria act like the world owes them everything with how they post crap on their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Honestly?? Both of them can go. Since they have been signed, one has been pregnant constantly, the other was in rehab and then complained about being put back on TV.

Mike Kanellis, you just re-upped with the company in June. For five years. Why dude? You were free and clear four months ago!

On the one hand, he just signed a 5 year deal just 4 months ago. He knew how his first run went, and whether the WWE gave him a pack of lies or not, he knew what he was getting into when he signed. He also had to have known that the WWE was signing everyone they could simply to prevent AEW from getting h Th em.
On the other hand, the WWE could have pitched him a story and then stopped it two weeks after he signed. Obviously him getting Maria pregnant could have derailed plans, but the WWE could have simply said “sorry, we have nothing for you” like they have done to so many in the past.
Im no lawyer, but I don’t think he has much leverage, if any based on how recent he signed the contract. He’s gonna have to suck it up and enjoy the $ that the WWE is paying him.

He thinks he’s better than he actually is. I say good riddance.

He won’t be missed, and hopefully he can contribute more in some other promotion. He’s nothing more than a good hand, though, and that won’t get you far in wrestling in 2019 (unless you’re a good hand who was friends with Cody Rhodes in FCW).

It's gonna be hard to really miss him based on what we saw in the WWE. He did what he could in 205 Live, but for some reason there was something about his fed gimmick that I couldn't attach to like I could when he was in ROH in the Kingdom.
I will be happy seeing where he goes seeing as I had high expectations for him coming in since ROH and TNA, but its not gonna be hard to watch the product without him.

And nothing of any value is lost. He was getting some prominent time on 205 live not too long ago wasn’t he? Even without the terrible storyline with Maria on Raw the last few months.

He thinks he’s better than he actually is. I say good riddance. I always got the feeling he just thinks he should be a main eventer everywhere he goes when it doesn't work like that.

Imagine being a guy, a wrestler let’s say, with a small child and a second on the way. You have a high paying job that uses you just enough that you aren’t completely useless AND allows you to spend plenty of time with your kids...and you say “ that” cause of your own ego. I hope he enjoys that mediocre match with Tama Tonga

But, I'm sticking behind this idea that it's a work.

What an ego on that guy. I bet he regrets it... Why should anyone ever attempt anything great? Just rest on your laurels and hide in the locker room like JTG until they fire you. Give me a break.
