Just seen Hulk Hogan tweet out that Road Warrior Animal has passed away. I can't find any details to verify, does anyone else know anything?

It's always the same, when the news starts to break you hope and pray they've got it wrong.
Honestly this is one of the most shocking and heartbreaking ones yet for me. RIP Animal.

Ugh, yeah, a lot of people I know are friends with Joe and I can say that I am also one of them. Joe was such a great guy to talk to and so funny and personable. We have been in the same locker rooms and there is not one worker that will say a bad thing about him.
RIP Animal. RIP Joe. You will always be in everyone's thoughts.

Just remembering all the times me and my childhood friend would pretend to be the Road Warriors. I was always Hawk, and he was always Animal.
Rest in Peace, to one of the most legendary tag team wrestlers ever.

Man 2020 has sucked! I met Road Warrior Animal at a convention and he was very nice! He had a replica of the spikes he wore that I was able to wear for the photo op. That was a mark out moment. He was one half of what I think is in the Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling tag teams. RIP Animal!

This is shocking... Unless I've missed something, I didn't hear anything bad about his health status recently.
Tragic nonetheless, especially at the age of 60.

He put the spikes on me for a pic and I felt like I was being baptized as they were going on. He was super nice when I met him. LOD was one of the best teams ever, especially when they got their formula locked down. Hawk would get beat up and cut off, then he’d make the hot tag and Animal would come in and wreck everyone. |
