Nah. To get them at a price point under $50 they have to be figures with minimum deco and accessories. Plus they never sold well.

I mean I get why the Horsemen didn’t sell well, Heenan Family was impossible to find and Nitro Notiables were all over the place. If they were more stratigic and maybe did 2 per set in cases of 4 I think they could revisit the idea

Just one, Evolution. Go balls out with it. I’d get it. Beats me if enough people would buy it to it make it worth it for Mattel, but that’s what I would want.

I think they should be a RSC exclusive, maybe an annual 4-pack priced at $100. Just as long as deco and accessories are there. If people are willing to buy $30-$40 Ultimate's, then there is a market for 4-packs. However, retail release, I don't want to see. Those Target 4-pack just sat on shelves forever! The only other issue with 4-packs is that it is hard to have everyone under contract at the same time to be able to produce the wrestlers.

Rsc exclusive only for this kind of thing and I’d probably aim for some 3 packs and see how they go first.
I’d buy a manager and tag team set for like $70 or whatever it would be, so see how they go and expand if it works. Plus the options for 4 guys that make sense are even slimmer than 3.
Gimme
Orient express or demo re release with Fuji Cornette with Fuji and yoko Slick with power and glory Jimmy hart with another foundation or nasty boys Heenan/Perfect/Flair Afa and headshinkers Bischoff and 3 min warning DOA Truth Commission Original Nation Team Extreme Brood Too Cool and Lawler from kotr 98 Sunny and Smoking Gunn’s Jim and the Godwin’s Holly Cousins Double J/Debra/Kat Heenan/Haku/Barbarian or JH from WCW with faces of fear

I am not against new 4 packs. The problem is the same as it always is with mattel. Distribution.

Would have to be a Ringside Exclusive to work. Even then, I don’t know how well they would sell. You’d have to include some very sought after attires or wrestlers.

I would be down with some 4 packs if they gave us 2 or 3 new legends to the line. Like a ECW pack with a combo of Sabu, Raven, Sandman, Tazz, bWo Blue Meanie and Stevie Richards. If it was just 4 packs of repeats then I don't think I would have any interest.

Barry windham, John Studd and Larry zybyzko arent big enough first time names to sell a $50 set. Brother Love, Haku, Hercules or Zeus might be good choices as bait.

I agree RSC exclusive would be the best route as they could include enough accessories to make it worth a $100 price tag. Seems like one that would be a day one sell out would be NWO Bischoff, Hollywood, Hall, and Nash

Nah, they order way too much of the first wave because it's new, so the stores that do actually sell them get stuck getting more and more of the same. Then you can never find the later series. I'm hopeful that this won't be the case with Legends, but they need to do a # change because stores around here have 15+ Heenans! 4-packs usually have minimal deco so they would probably be pretty basic/wrong used parts on the cheap just to get them out at a respectable price. No need for them to come back for me.

Stores would never go for it but if they did it in low quantities for RSC I think it would be a huge hit. I would buy given it was a group of guys interesting enough and no string pulling such as street attire or poor deco.

I’m aware of that, just pointing out the potential for 3 packs over 4. Besides elite two packs come out like 3x a year right? At that count my list could last long enough to sign most of them. 4 years ago Hogan, Angle, Hardy boys and Goldberg were just a wish list and now we have them all.

I would buy a Hurt Business Elite 4-Pack for 50$-60$ instantly. Wouldn’t have to think twice.

We need a 4 pack of 4 Champions. They could be:
Factions, with each member having a Championship Title Belt. For example, the Four Horsemen, the New World Order, D-Generation X, Evolution, the Main Event Mafia, and the Undisputed Era.
A Hall of Famer / Legend / SuperStar, featuring his Championship Title Belt collection. For example, we could have: Lion Heart with the WCW Cruiserweight, WCW Television and ECW Television Championship Title Belts. Y2J with the WWE (Big Eagle), Intercontinental, European, Hardcore, and Tag Team (Attitude Era) Championship Title Belts. Save.Us / Jeri-Show with the World Heavyweight (Big Gold), and the Unified WWE (Smackdown) World (Raw) Tag Team Championship Title Belts. The List, with the United States Championship Title Belt.
Champions, featuring 4 Championship Title Belts of the same Championship Title. For Example, Hulk Hogan (Winged Eagle), Stone Cold Steve Austin (Big Eagle and Smoking Skull), Triple H (Undisputed), and John Cena (Spinner). Another example could be the Rock (Big Scratch), Brock Lesnar (Big Network), Finn Balor (Universal Red), Bray Wyatt (Universal Blue).

I honestly don't trust Mattel to give us a set enough people want to buy. We'll get Eddie Guerrero with bell bottoms and Mattel will blame us for not buying enough of them.
We've got a complete DX, sans 97 Rude. We're inching closer to the Nation if we can get Kama, which seems realistic. We have the Hart Foundation members we can own. We have Undisputed Era and are one Adam Cole, BAYBAY, in camo away from a matching set. Hurt Business would be cool, but, like Imperium, I question the actual demand for that set, and they can all be released as singles with much less risk. An Evolution 4-pack is probably the safest pick at this point. Even then, we have all of those guys several times over.
Maybe a Ministry set with Taker, Acolytes, and then Mideon? One new figure to drive the set for collectors and familiar faces for everyone else. We obviously don't know Mideon's availability. I mean, I want an NWO 2000 set with Nash, Hart, Steiner and Double J, and that would sell like crazy imo, but Mattel can't make two of those guys. Situations like that pop up all around with these kinds of sets. Either you question sales potential, or Mattel outright can't make enough guys to build these sets. No Owen, no Steiner, no Jarrett, no Demolition, no LOD, no Sunny, etc., and so on. Just a tough sell for big sets of this fashion.

If the 4 figures are popular enough and the attires were well done, it could work as a RSC exclusive. But for them to get accessories and a lot of deco, the price may be too steep for it to be successful. I wouldn't mind Hogan/Savage/Sting/Luger from Fall Brawl 1995 with unique packaging.
