I cant believe I'm saying this, But I seriously think it's time I stop collecting. I'm at the point where collecting is costing too much money, it's taking up alot of time, it's pretty annoying, & sometimes I make regrets on what I buy. It's getting ridiculous. One RA is 9 bucks + tax.... Which means a 10 dollar bill gives you some change. The time it takes to go to stores and stuff and find figures is aggravating. I can sometimes regret what I buy, Which is a big annoyance. Seriously, I spent near 100 bucks on figures alone within 2 weeks. It's way too much money to be spending on toys. I like collecting and all, But the price of figures, Aggravation, And all of that is taking it's toll on me. It's getting too annoying and expensive. I just started buying Rocky figures now and thats more money now I'm spending. It's just too much at this point. You can buy one figure then another one is released a month later that has full detail. I just dont think I can do it anymore.

"It ain't over til It's Over!"
Haha, but in all seriousness...just get what you KNOW you want when you see it, take it casually. If you can't keep from this, you probably should take a break. It should be a hobby, not a huge part of your life. Do what's best for you.

Sorry to hear this. Does this mean you will sell your figures? Nah, Even if I did stop collecting figures, I wouldn't sell any of the ones I have now. I'm still 50-50 on wheter I'm going to stop collecting or no. I can just cut back on figures I buy and buy less or just no more repaints. I just need to be smarter on what I buy and what I need or don't need. By the way, Great point teamextreme718x, I think I might just do that.

Jakks have been really mean to collectors recently, meaner than usual, I too feel ripped off alot of the time at the moment, CS16 was extremely sparce on detail and accessories when really Jakks should have more and more budget for each new series because of all the profit they made off previous series, it was really harsh of them not to include any cloth entrance attire or appropriate accessories with the entire CS16 series. The RA/AD lines are also becoming more and more geared towards conning hardcore collectors out of money with all the deliberate defects followed by a never ending stream of slightly updated figures. Jakks business idea of ripping off their customers to make a few extra cents profit off each figure only works because of WWE's popularity, it wouldn't work with most businesses.

Been down this road man, a couple of times. I'm officially pretty mcuh done collecting WWE for the reasons u mentioned..too expensive, too aggravating running to the store hoping you get what you want, checking every store everyday, killin yourself gettin to the store before others. Then, Jakks puts out new figs every other day it seems. You are almost forced to cut back your collecting unless you're a billionare and have nothing to do with your money.
You mite just want to collect what you like. I've done this with a few collections now...TNA's...cause they produce 4 new figures every year, so that saves on money, and Heroes, which I will have to refrain from buying all again and just get what I like. When it becomes a job then its not fun!

You dont have to stop collecting. Just try and collect the figures that you really like, and sell off the ones you don't care for anymore. That's what I'm doing now. Got a huge load of them up on "that auction site" right now. Hope I helped...

I've been there recently. I just stopped for a few months, but then came back and just started to only buy figures I really wanted, and so far its going a lot better than before. Sometimes I think you need to take a step back and take a small break from it, and come out with a better game plan to continue doing what you like.
