to say flair isn't a legend, and compare his ego to hogan's is completely nonsensical. as is saying flair is no good for business.
flair is one of the main reasons we have a business around today. ric flair could go out and have a good match with just about everyone, he made so many future stars it isn't even funny. and he's still doing it today. last year his brief feud with umaga got umaga the desire heel heat and put him in position for a feud with cena. which worked out rather well for both guys tbh.
also earlier in the year flair did the job to khali to get him heel heat in the feud with batista. and again it helped an otherwise dull feud.
ric flair is undeniably a legend. if you like him or not, it's irrelevant. he's done more for wrestling than almost the entire wwe roster and tna roster combined.
ric f'n flair > you.

Flair bores me. I could never sit through any of his matches and the only reason he still wrestles is because his dumbass didn't invest any money and is going to be paying back a lot of people till he dies

Heres the thing about Flair. Now i'm not going to act like I knew everything about him, because I was not alive during the 4 horsemen days. The only way I know about old Ric Flair stuff is through "The Ultimate Ric Flair" collection, Which is a really good DVD. I dont think Flair should have another title run, And thats just my opinion. I just dont think he has one in him. But the reason I like Flair is because even at 58, Flair still has so much Charisma and can always get the crowd going. To be honest, i think he still has alot more Charisma then some most of the wrestlers on Raw, Smackdown, And ECW. Fixed Anyone who doesn't think Flair is a legend is a moron.

now a days, he is too old, i'd love to see him commentate for TNA. So you would rather Flair not have a career and degrade him self to sitting with "Production Sheet" Mike Tenay and Don "Yell and Sell" West? That's just stupid. I really don't care what people say about Flair. I respect the hell out of the guy, I always will. Also to compare Hogan and Flair's egos is comparing porno to applesauce. Two completely different guys with totally different egos. If you haven't noticed Flair has worked his ass off for the world of pro wrestling. Wrestling wise he makes Hulk Hogan look like Chris Masters. Hulk can't even sit underneath Flair and cup his balls, he's not even good enough for that. Hulk is the biggest douche bag in wrestling. Flair will at least do what Vince asks of him to the degree he can. Hulk believes he can set whatever terms he wants and believe he should be payed the highest. Hulk also seems to feel that he's infallible from the law. He bought his son beer and he got into a wreck, how was Hulk recently quoted: "I talked to him about his driving." Not, "I made a mistake and I'll pay for my actions." Hulk took the douche bag, I think people love me route. The sad part is, he'll probably get a lighter sentence for it if convicted. Flair, gets in a road rage incident and pretty much just takes crap as it's given. Flair has earned the right to demand certain things in his contract. He knows no one gives a crap about Smackdown, he should be on Raw. He was doing great there before he was moved over, it was bullcrap in the first place. He's still a legend. It doesn't matter where he did any of it, WWE owns WCW, thus they can celebrate the history from there. Get the over the fact that just because you don't like Flair, you think others shouldn't.

Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time. I agree to, I also think Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest but Ric Flair is the all time greatest.

I think of it like this Ric Flair is a legend in pro wrestling but I still do not enjoy his work. I can respect what he has done but there is no rule taht says I have to love the guy I have always found his matches boring the only one that springs to mind that I liked was the match against randy Savage at WM8. I do see Ric as a future hall of famer but he would never in a million years make my top 20 wrestlers list.
I hate when I am told by some 15 year old kid who has just watched the Ric Flair dvd last Tuesday dvd that I am a idiot or not a true fan for not disliking Ric Flair. truth is you can like who ever you want bottom line is I think Ric Flair is one of the most over rated performers in the history of wrestling but at the end of the day I can recognise what he has done.

This threat is idiotic. to deny that Ric Flair is a wrestling legend is to deny modern pro-wrestling as a whole. I'm only turning 21 myself, but I have a huge library of Horseman footage, matches, etc. First off, Flair's personality and his promo's were incredible. Him and the Horseman created the first MAJOR stable in pro-wrestling. They were a big group of cool, hip heels that you couldn't help but love. This is why we got the nWo, DX, Evolution. They all borrowed from the framework that the Horseman created.
Flair himself was a great performer who could put on a good match and make anybody look like a million bucks. Flair was a major draw, great mic skills, great in the ring and paved the way for so many of todays legends.

Flair is no wrestling legend. Yes he has won titles, but is a terrible wrestler.

Just because Flair hasn't based his move set around stale submission moves or suplexes and he has charisma, he automatically sucks Lets take a look at who Hogan has putover recently and who Flair has put over recently: FlairBrock Lesnar the Rock Chris Jericho Rico Rob Van Dam Booker T Goldust Chris Benoit Edge La Resistance William Regal Randy Orton Kurt Angle Triple H Umaga Kenny Dykstra Carlito Finlay Khali Hoganthe Rock Undertaker Kurt Angle Lance Storm Christian Charlie Haas Shelton Benjamin Ric Flair is the greatest of all time and anyone who doesn't feel the same just wants to be different for the sake of being differentNo, that is far from the truth.

Another Title Run or not...
Ric Flair has put on half of the greatest wrestling matches ever. Hell, even Hogan has said "Flair is the greatest worker of all time."

flair is one of the prime reasons a lot of older people watched wrestling. he was one of the greatest heel characters to exist, carried the belt of many companies during stressful times, and payed off. flair is a legend, and it doesn't really matter what people have to say. how does the younger generation know about flairs stints in nwa- 90s wwf dvds, vhs i own 50 hours of flairs career on dvd not to mention the wwe dvd of his legacy

Flair should get a title run for 1 reason and 1 reason only...HE EARNED IT!! 30 years in the business. Where would Randy Orton, Triple H or Batista be without Ric Flair? You cant have Evolution if theres not a "past" If theres no Evolution Orton and Batista are in TNA by now. How bout Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, Brian Pillman, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard....So many great stars became LEGENDS when they aligned themselves with Flair. No Flair shouldnt have the John Cena 4 year title run, but he deserves a month or 2 months on top and then go out how he wants to. If your from the north Hogan is the face of wrestling, in the south Flair was the face of wrestling. Both these men have put their lives into wrestling. If up to me Flair would get the title on SD and Hogan would get the title on Raw and both hold it for a month and then lose and both retire...maybe to be GMs on that brand

Flair was a great wrestler, but key word, was, he needs to retire, he really is quite boring to watch in the ring anymore.

He was great and selling the moves he recieved and made people look alright. He always looked like an old man, no matter what, if a person 'won' they would look horrible anyway. In my eyes, they were just beating an old man.
There is a difference between watching a DVD which shows all his highlights, and actually watching his career from 1990-2007. A DVD shows all the 'greatest' moments, actually watching it, you had to sit through most of his 'wrestling' and boredom, and from time to time he would throw a good promo out there..in the ring, he wasn't anything great.
Actually no, I am not an Orton fan, but I don't mind watching him. I am just saying, Flair has done a lot of crap and gets praised for it...Orton does the same and gets hated for it. I love hearing about old men sexual harassment suits. PRAISE PRAISE. Then I compared Randy to Xpac, who also crap in peoples bags, but people loved Xpac. Orton does it, and it's the meanest thing in the world.
Did Flair not quit or 'leave' wrestling when his character wasn't doing what he wanted? I think so, he can't deny that he ISN'T in the damn spotlight anymore and that he is to old to be cared about. So when Flair does come back (if he already didn't, I haven't watched) he is probably going to in the spotlight of some fued on the upper cards, rather than a normal wrestler on Smackdown.
Second of all, to you. You should ask yourself why you would even think about Hogan cupping Flairs balls. I mean seriously, I would think of that more as a compliment to Hogan, rather rather than something negative.
Yes, I HATE Ric Flair, just to show off on a message board. crap, I'm such a rebel.

This is SO going to get out of control...
I understand you have the right to an opinion. You can dislike any wrestler you want, that's cool. However, you're coming off as a guy who wants everyone to think as you and that everything YOU say is FACT.
