Yep. I wasn't even expecting much from the return. We got a pretty meh Orton & Jericho rivarly which was very bland. Then we get the "savior" crap every week which got stupid after a while. But then we got the Y2J & JBL feud which was great. Overall it's been kinda slow for Jericho lately. It'd be better if he was on Smackdown. He could feud with guys like Edge, Mvp, Undertaker, Batista.. It's would be a hell of alot better for Jericho. He's overshadowed on Raw.

He was basically set up to ing fail. They debuted him in a crapty town, on a crapty regular old RAW show, and put him in a program with a faggit. If you honestly thought he would have any success with ol' Triple H running things backstage, then you are out of your mind.

Put him on Smackdown. Turn him heel.

It's not WWE's fault. Chris Jericho just isn't as over as say Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels or Triple H. That's why there getting WWE title matches, and Jericho isn't. Jericho, although he is my 2nd favourite wrestler at the moment, and one of my faves of all time, just isn't constant world title material. Which is a sad fact.

Yes they returned him to a crappy crowd, they should have done it in Philly or Chicago for NM, either would have been perfect.
He'll hopefully get drafted to SmackDown and fued with Taker, Edge, MVP, all of which would be phenomenal.

I think it was just a combination of poor timing and an underestimation on the WWE's part of how many fans actually did remember Jericho as a top level guy. Last they saw him, he was being fired and carried from the ring.
I LOVED the Save_Us.222 campaign, but if somewhere along the line it revealed who it was, then showed us clips of WHY we should care that Jericho's coming back to "Save Us," it may have gone over better. Immediately putting him in a dead-end feud with Orton and then in an open-ended one with JBL didn't help much, either.
It's just been handled VERY poorly.

The problem with that is the same with all the big names they bring back they give them a big push when they come back and they fight for the championship for a couple months and then mid card status here I come. I think it is stupid.

That and Triple H couldn't lose his Main Event spot. What does Triple H have to do with the fact that Jericho doesn't get enough of a reaction? Does Triple H tell the audience to not cheer for him loudly?

the only redeeming factor is to move him to SD and let him turn heel and take the title from Taker after Mania

I was never a fan of Jericho as a face except when he was doing stuff with The Rock, as a heel he is pure gold. He is quite possibly the funniest and most entertaining superstar ever in his heel WCW days. Hello Winston Salem LOL.
He could be a constant main eventer though he's got that level of charisma and talent that most wrestlers would crave for.
About the hair situation too I mean it's not just the hair, what about the beard!!

You are right, but it does not make any sense, what so ever. It is mind blowing, to think that someone who is great on the microphone, and great in the ring, and oozes charisma, is a second wheel to someone like Jeff Hardy, who lacks any sort of skill or character.

They killed his return by dragging it out way too damn long.

I agree, that haircut is awful. At this point in his career, he just wrestles for the passion and $, not main-event pushes(HHH).

I always said upon his return that putting him into the main event straight away was a huge mistake, since there's gonna be some of the fan base who just doesn't care for him.
He needed to be built up in the upper midcard region, instead of being thrust into the title picture, people want to have people who they care about in the main event scene, Jericho just isn't that person at this stage of his career.
I mean Jericho's one of the best rounded performers in the WWE but since his return he's been nowhere near his level of 2001-ish, in fact his matches and promos have both been pretty weak.
