SD was ok. Gail debuting is pretty good and it's good to see her win. Shelton-Kendrick is an interesting match. Hopefully R-Truth gets a good push. Solid main event but not too keen on Hardy winning. Good overall show though.

Saturday, Week 2, September 2008
Last night's Smackdown got a TV rating of 2.90. This is quite a good number and WWE are happy with it. With this being just the first week after Unforgiven, WWE are hoing ratings will increase over the next couple of weeks leading up to No Mercy.
Jeff Hardy will now face Triple H for the WWE Title at No Mercy. The original plan was to push The Big Show as Vince McMahon is really pushing for him to become champ however most felt that Big Show could be used with Undertaker a bit longer to lead into a big match with Triple H later on. As of right now no winner has been decided but a lot of people are saying they would be shocked if Hardy won the title.
Umaga made his return to Smackdown last night to attack the Undertaker. This comes as a bit of a shock as Umaga was supposedly injured. Apparently he still has another week or so left of resting but he was healthy enough to appear in a little angle. Umaga should be fully fit in the next week or so and then his feud with Undertaker & Big Show is expected to be started completely. Apparently this whole feud between Vickie & Taker is being planned out pretty much on the day of taping. The whole outline of the feud is supposedly not thought out at all. The booking team is coming up with random ideas every week with none of them even being considered to happen until Vince makes a decision on Tuesday before the taping.
Gregory Helms also made his return last night. He is expected to receive an alright push to begin with just to see how the fans feel about him before pushing him for the US title or anything. This feud with R-Truth is expected to turn one of them into a big superstar but whether or not it will turn out like that remains to be seen.
A feud over the United States title began last night between Shelton Benjamin, The Brian Kendrick & Montel Vontavious Porter. Benjamin is expected to turn into a more face character although not fully leaving MVP & Kendrick as the heels. This feud is supposedly going to be used to push one, two or all of them into the main event scene by the end of the year.
The debut of Gail Kim supposedly went well. Its being said that Gail Kim is going to help turn Smackdown's Diva Division into a serious Women's Division. Victoria is expected to get more of a push from this and possibly more divas added to take over for Maria, Maryse & Michelle McCool.
Finally Smackdown currently has no plans for Kozlov and are just booking him at random at the moment. Some people have suggested the idea of moving Kozlov to ECW or Raw since Smackdown doesn't really need him and he could get lost in the shuffle. If he does move to Raw or ECW expect him to become a serious threat to either the IC title, ECW Title or possibly a new midcard title on ECW that has been suggested about.

The opening segment was great, and really well written. Cool to see Hardy getting the title shot, and Umaga taking out Taker was great, and a feud between the two should be good. I like the idea of a Benjamin/ Kendrick/ MVP feud, and I really hope it leads to Kendrick getting the title. Helms returning is awesome, and hopefully he gets a good push. Great to see Gail Kim back, and hopefully this means that the Diva Title Division will actually mean something. Nice to see the Canadian Bulldogs getting the win, and I like that your mixing up the tag division with new teams. I didn't really like Dykstra/ Yang, and thought that the least the match could have done was give Dykstra a win.

CM Punk and Randy Orton have been going back and forth since Unforgiven. Last week Orton sent Punk a message with an RKO. What does Randy have in store for the World Champion this week?
The main event for Raw has been announced as Kane taking on CM Punk in a non-title match. Last week Kane did what he said he was going to do when he chokeslammed Batista off the stage. Batista and apparently Rey Mysterio have both been sent to hell is CM Punk next?
Also Cryme Tyme have been after Simply Priceless for a long time now. They came close to finally winning the Tag Team Titles when Joe Hennig was added to the equation. Tonight on Raw Cryme Tyme team up with D-Lo Brown and take on all three members of Simply Priceless. Can Cryme Tyme get the upper hand and get another chance to become champions or is Simply Priceless, just Simply Perfect?
Finally Shawn Michaels mentioned last week that he was hanging up the boots for good. This week Shawn Michaels meets with Mike Adamle to decide his future on Raw. What is Michaels decision going to be, is this the last we shall see The Heart Break Kid?
Mickie James will take on Jillian Hall, Kelly Kelly & Katie Lea Burchill in a Fatal Four Way Match with the winner facing Beth Phoenix for the Women's title at No Mercy.
Tune into Raw tonight at 9/8 CT on the USA Network! [/i][/center]

It has just been posted on wwe.com, WWE have released Dalip Singh aka The Great Khali. Apparently The Great Khali's legs are in a horrible condition and even though he tried resting them up its just not doing anything. Khali told WWE he will head back to India and retire from wrestling and so WWE decided to let him go.

It's good that Khali and WWE left on good terms with his bad legs, very realistic. I hope him well in the future...going off topic slightly, I'd like to say I feel sorrow for Khali getting hated on, it isn't his fault he can't wrestle, it's his legs. Maybe he'd of been better sticking to film-starring. I'd like to see where Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H goes, maybe Jeff winning and having a short reign? Umaga and Taker's feud is fresh and interesting imo. Make him big.

Smackdown was a good read, Jason. The opening scene with Vicky/Taker/Triple H/Big Show and Jeff Hardy was well written and a triple threat between Jeff/'Taker & Show sounds like a good match. Jimmy Yang vs Kenny Dykstra sounds great on paper to be honest, happy that Yang got the victory, Dykstra needs to be sent to ECW. Nice to see Gail Kim back in the WWE, not to sure I would of made her first match a tag team match but I just hope she either goes heel or defeats a heel for the Diva's title. Stampede Bulldogs are great together so I am glad you have them as a team, I also like Jesse and Festus so I wasn't bothered who won this match. It says "Battle Royal" before the Vladimir match, I presume that's a mistake. Glad Vlad got the win, I'm starting to like him. Kendrick vs MVP vs Benjamin should be a great feud, I hope Kendrick comes out on top though, allowing Shelton to main event. R-Truth getting a win is always good, wouldn't mind him getting a US title push but maybe not this early. Main event was great, expected Jeff to get the win and I actually hope he gets a run with the title, it's bound to happen. The end to the show was great with Vicky, Undertaker and Umaga, Umaga vs 'Taker is something I've always wanted to happen.

Monday, Week 3, September 2008
Raw starts up with Randy Orton standing in the ring. Orton talks about how he showed CM Punk last week that he is a joke. He hit him with an RKO and he was done. He asks Punk to come out here and try and say to his face one more time that he doesn’t deserve to be World Champion.
CM Punk comes out and tells Orton once again that he still hasn’t proved to him anything. He says that Orton walks around like he owns the place. The only reason he even has a job is because of his family and without it he wouldn’t even be standing in the same ring as the World Champion. Orton does not look to please at this and tells Punk that one year ago at No Mercy the Age of Orton began and whether Punk or anyone in the crowd likes it, The Age of Orton will continue again. Just three more weeks and Punk is finished.
Punk shouts some abuse at Orton until Randy suddenly spits right in Punk’s face. Punk cant believe it but before he can react Orton rolls under the bottom rope and walks away up the ramp. Punk looks on from in the ring very pissed off!
Single Match – Jamie Noble vs. Paul Burchill This was a good short match to kick Raw off. Burchill had William Regal in his corner however Katie Lea was in the back preparing for her match. Burchill used his power to just throw Noble around like a doll. Noble fought back a few times and gave Burchill a good run for his money. Noble took Burchill down and climbed the top rope. Burchill got back to his feet and quickly began talking to the ref explaining he had something in his eye. This allowed William Regal to climb onto the apron and punch Noble in the back of the head with the Brass Knuckles. Noble went crashing to the mat and Regal quickly jumped off the apron. Burchill moved the referee aside and walked over to Noble. He grabbed his arms and pulled them back. He then stepped down on Nobles head with a huge Curb Stomp. 1…2…3! Paul Burchill def. Jamie Noble by pinfall with a Curb Stomp
After the match Regal got in the ring and he double teamed Jamie Noble with Burchill. The two just beat him senseless. Regal then locked in the Regal Stretch as referees came running down to break it up!
Backstage Shawn Michaels shows up walking through a door. He walks along a little bit until he is greeted by Mike Adamle. Adamle welcomes him and tells him to come into his office so they can talk. Shawn goes to walk in when Todd Grisham walks over and tries talking to him. Shawn stares at Todd and just carries on walking in. Mike tells Todd they need to be alone for this and goes into the office and closes the door behind him!
Six-Man Tag Team Match – Cryme Tyme & D-Lo Brown vs. Simply Priceless This was an alright match. Both teams did well however the fans did not care for D-Lo what so ever. Simply Priceless showed more skill and are turning out to be some great superstars. The match was dominated by Simply Priceless mostly but Cryme Tyme would fight back now and then. D-Lo was usually the one held in the ring for a long time getting beat up. In the end, Cody Rhodes got taken down by D-Lo Brown with a Lo-Down. Unfortunately D-Lo was too exhausted to capitalize and so he crawled to his corner. Both men tagged in their partners as JTG & Joe Hennig came running in. JTG took Hennig down hard until DiBiase came running in. This caused Shad to get in and came running through and tossing Ted over the ropes. Shad went out and followed leaving Cod Rhodes to come in and attack JTG. This again failed as D-Lo Brown got back in and threw Cody to the outside. Joe Hennig began fighting with JTG and seemed to have the upper hand. Joe then set JTG up for a Perfect-Plex but JTG blocked it. JTG stopped the Perfect-Plex and shoved Joe Hennig away. JTG then ran towards him, jumped into the air and hit a Corkscrew Neckbreaker. 1…2…3! Cryme Tyme & D-Lo Brown def. Simply Priceless by pinfall after JTG hit a Corkscrew Neckbreaker on Joe Hennig
After the match Cryme Tyme began celebrating on the stage. Simply Priceless got in the ring annoyed at their loss. They get no a microphone and Ted DiBiase tells Cryme Tyme they have had enough of seeing their faces. If they really want a title shot then fine they got it one final time to end this for good, Simply Priceless vs. Cryme Tyme in a Ladder Match for the World Tag Team Titles. Ted says that at No Mercy Cryme Tyme will lose any hope of ever becoming champions because they are Simply Perfect!
Backstage a camera is waiting outside Mike Adamle’s office when Lance Cade appears to be just staring at the door. Finally he moves he barges into the office and the cameraman follows. Cade demands Adamle give him Shawn Michaels. He will never let Shawn get away with what he did to Jericho. Shawn stands up and stares at Cade. He looks like he is about to say something and instead laughs at him and sits back down. Cade gets annoyed and says he isn’t going to take that from him. Before any fighting can begin Mike Adamle buts in and tells Cade that he deserves a chance to prove himself so tonight it will be Lance Cade vs. Kofi Kingston with the winner facing Santino Marella at No Mercy for the Intercontinental Title. Lance Cade seems happy as he agrees. He tells Shawn Michaels this isn’t over between them and walks away. Mike Adamle kicks the cameraman out before going back to his meeting with Shawn Michaels.
Single Match – John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Charlie Hass This was just a squash. JBL overpowered Hass from the start and gave him no offense what so ever. JBL hit a few powerful moves and throws him around. He then charges at him and delivers a Clothesline from Hell. 1…2…3! JBL doesn’t even celebrate his win and instead just walks to the back with an angry expression on his face not taking notice of anyone. JBL def. Charlie Hass by pinfall with a Clothesline from Hell
Backstage Kane is seen in a dark red glowing room. It looks sort of like a boiler room but Kane is filling the whole shot making it hard to see anything else. Kane looks into the camera and says that last week he finished his task of sending Batista & Rey Mysterio to hell. He sent them with a one way ticket and they will never be back. Right at this moment they are probably screaming for mercy as the devil tortures them. Their flesh is burning off their bones until nothing is left but dust. CM Punk you do not want to have anything to do with me or you will suffer the same fate. I can send you down with or without the World Heavyweight Title. So you had better make a choice tonight. You stay away and hand over your World Title or Ill torture you myself. I’ll make you scream and beg me to let you go. You will beg me not to send you below the ground and you will beg me to take the World Title from you. The only fate for you Punk and anybody else that stands in my way will only be pain, suffering and misery. Kane begins his evil laugh as the camera fades out to darkness!
Battle Royal – WWE Intercontinental Championship No.1 Contender Lance Cade vs. Kofi Kingston This was a good match between these two. Both men did well. Cade got some nice heat and Kofi was a big fan favourite. The match was really even with both men taking turns in control. Cade would use his power to try and keep Kofi grounded but if he messed up Kofi would get free and begin using his speed to take Cade down. In the end of the match Kofi is in full control. He hits Cade with the Boom Boom Legdrop and gets ready for the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi goes for it but Lance Cade suddenly ducks and Kofi misses. Before Kofi can do anything Cade is on and locks in a Walls of Jericho. The hold is locked in tight as Kofi screams in pain. The fans are behind him trying to get him to fight which begins to work. Kofi moves closer and closer to the ropes and finally he reaches out and is just near enough to grab the bottom rope. Cade breaks the hold and can’t believe it. He then waits as Kofi gets to his feet. Once he turns around Lance Cade moves forward, lifts up his foot and goes to hit some Sweet Chin Music. Kofi sees it coming and ducks. As Lance Cade turns back around Kofi Kingston is spinning around and kicks Cade right in the face with the Trouble in Paradise. 1…2…3! Kofi Kingston def. Lance Cade by pinfall with the Trouble in Paradise
Backstage Mike Adamle’s office door opens up and Shawn walks out. He shakes Mike’s hand and thanks him for something. Mike tells Shawn he can schedule him for the announcement after the next match. Shawn says ok and walks off. Adamle retreats to his office with a huge smile on his face!
Fatal Four Way Match – WWE Women’s Championship No.1 Contender Mickie James vs. Jillian Hall vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Katie Lea Burchill This was a good diva match. Surprisingly they all did well including Kelly Kelly. Jillian seemed to get more offense and did quite good. She didn’t seem like a joke or anything tonight. The main story of the match though was between Katie & Mickie both of them went at it the whole time and were the two that kept coming back to each other numerous times. Katie seemed to have the upper hand over her though but Mickie kept fighting. In the end Kelly Kelly got knocked out of the ring by Katie Lea and seemed to have eliminated her from the match. Katie then beat down Mickie James & Jillian Hall. He was in full control as she took down Jillian. However when she went for her own version of the Curb Stomp her brother Paul uses Mickie got back to her feet. Mickie stopped Katie from hitting the move and began hitting her with right hands. She then ducked a clothesline and hit a Mick Kick. Katie went down and rolled under the ropes. Jillian came back and tried attacking Mickie but in the end it wasn’t enough as Mickie fought through and hit Jillian with a Mickie-DT. 1…2…3! Mickie James def. Jillian Hall, Kelly Kelly, & Katie Lea Burchill by pinfall with Mickie-DT on Jillian Hall
Mike Adamle comes out to the ring and says that after meeting with Shawn Michaels they have finally come to a decision. He thanks the fans for their patience and welcomes out Shawn Michaels.
Shawn Michaels makes his way out to the ring to a ton of cheers. He gets in the ring and grabs a microphone. Shawn thanks Mike Adamle and shakes his hand. Shawn thanks all the fans for their support and for 20 great years. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho at Unforgiven was officially his final WWE match. Shawn Michaels will never be lacing up a pair of boots again. The fans are booing like crazy; they hate what they are hearing so far.
However, lucky for you Shawn Michaels doesn’t need to lace up boots in order to stay right here in WWE. You see after looking at every possible situation I decided that Shawn Michaels just can’t simply stay away. What I said before is true I will not be wrestling in this ring ever again. My match with Jericho was my very last match. I will still be around doing a new job. With Mike Adamle’s help and the McMahon family we have come to this decision. The Heart Break Kid is the new Co-General Manager of Raw.
Mike Adamle’s smile grows huge as he shakes hands with Michale’s once again. The two then hold each other’s arm in the air celebrating their new partnership.
Single Match – Kane vs. CM Punk Match of the night between these two. Both men did really well. Kane was the dominant heel for the majority of the match. Punk would try fighting back but it just wouldn’t work. Kane kept overpowering him. In the end of the match Kane took down Punk with a big boot and was waiting to hit a Chokeslam. Punk got to his feet as Kane grabbed him by the throat. Kane lifted Punk into the air but Punk got out of his grip. He fell to the floor behind Kane and pushed him into the corner. Punk hit him with a few strikes before doing a very short run and kneeing him right in the face. He then got down and hit another knee to the face followed by one more. Punk then grabbed Kane’s head and pulled him forward. Punk ran and hit Kane with a nice bulldog in the middle of the ring. He then stood up as he waited for Kane to stand. Suddenly from the back came Randy Orton sliding into the ring. Punk turned around and got hit with an RKO in the middle of the ring. The ref calls the bell putting an end to the match! CM Punk def. Kane by disqualification following interference from Randy Orton
After the match Orton screams down at Punk saying this will teach him some respect. Orton then stands away, runs at him and goes to punt him right in the head when Kane steps in. He tells Randy to leave this to him. Orton thinks it over and tells him that’s fine by him just make sure enough left in him for No Mercy. Orton walks away to the back leaving Kane to deal with it. Kane laughs as he stares down at the World Champion. Kane then grabs him by the throat and lifts him up. He says something to him when all of a sudden the music of Rey Mysterio begins to play. Kane drops Punk and stares at the stage shouting no repeatedly. He says Mysterio is finished, his burning, his suffering, he is gone for good. Kane seems to be in pain or something as he holds his head and squeezes it like crazy trying to stop the pain. Suddenly from behind comes CM Punk. Punk turns Kane around and hits him right over the head with the World Heavyweight Title. It doesn’t do a lot of damage so he does it again which this time knocks Kane down to the mat. Kane rolls under the bottom rope and begins walking away still in pain.
CM Punk gets on a microphone and says that he has had it with Randy Orton. He shouts to Mike Adamle to make it happen, CM Punk vs. Randy Orton at No Mercy. He is through with Orton making him look like a bitch and now it’s his turn. He warns Orton that the only thing he will receive at No Mercy is a knee right into his jaw. At No Mercy there will be no Age of Orton, it will only be the Punk Era!

I am kicking myself for not reading this diary until now. RAW was a fantastic read! The opening segment was excellent - I haven't seen Orton spit in anybody's face in a long time; you're building up this feud between Orton/Punk in a great way. Opening match was decent enough; poor Jamie getting destroyed by Burchill and Regal. Decent six man tag. Ladder match with Cryme Tyme and Priceless should be good. Hope Cryme Tyme steal the titles (no pun intended). Meh, JBL squash match - not liking it. Creepy promo by Kane. Cade/Kingston was good; hope Kingston wins the IC belt. Women's match was good; cool that Mickie won but I was hoping for Katie Lea to get the title shot. Shawn Michaels being co-gm of RAW is a total shock to me. I did not expect that at all. I hope HBK does more as gm instead of making Jericho's and Cade's lives a living hell. Kane vs. Punk was a great main event. CM Punk promo at the end was simply awesome. Punk vs. Orton at No Mercy will be an outstanding match. Overall, an excellent show. I will be sure to read all future shows. Fantastic job, dude.

Tuesday, Week 3, September 2008
Last night's Raw got a 3.70 rating up from last weeks 3.54. WWE are very hapy with the rise and are hoping it continues. If WWE can get back into the 4's like it used to be then it will be a very great achievement for them.
Punk vs. Randy Orton is 99% confirmed for No Mercy. The majority feel that Orton will be continuing the Age of Orton but with Punk's whole reign being so unpredictable anything could happen at No Mercy.
Lots of people are still wondering if Shawn Michaels not wrestling anymore is just a work. Still there has been no asnwer. WWE are playing this angle so well that currently a lot of people are treating it like its real. Shawn Michaels apparently did not want to leave the business and since WWE still wanted him on camera they decided to go with the Co-GM role. Currently no word on how long it will last however or what he will even be doing during this time.
Lance Cade is set to receive a push. Although he lost to Kofi Kingston its been suggested that Lance Cade find another way into No Mercy. He is expected to continue his little thing with Shawn Michaels until Jericho returns but until that time he could become Intercontinental Champion.
Also set to receive a big push is Paul London. London has disapeared from TV for a while now but its only been so they can bring hmi back for a big angle. Currently nobody has heard what plans they have for him but he will be making his return at No Mercy. Many think he will feud with either Santino Marella or Lance Cade.
JBL has been considering retirement for good. He was thinking about returning to commentary or just leaving for good so he can focus on his Mamajuana stuff. This could happen quite soon or it may not happen until January or Wrestlemania time.
Finally Rey Mysterio is expected to face Kane at No Mercy. Currently its not 100% and no word on who may win it. Plus Batista may play a part in it or he may be left out until his return after No Mercy. Batista could continue the feud with Kane or he may go straight into a feud with the World Heavyweight Champion.

One thing I do have to comment on is I hope this doesn't become too debut heavy, with new and former stars taking the current stars spots & then them being released.
Other than that this is going very good man, the Michaels/Adamle partnership is something different and interesting, I hope that HBK hasn't had his last match but it could lead to some fun places. Dibiase/Rhodes & Hennig need to go Freebirds in their title defenses.
I don't really have that much interest in a Punk/Orton feud but you've done a great job building in up so far man & that's a compliment man. Overall great booking, writing pretty much everything, great stuff man keep it up.

I always enjoy your write ups and RAW was no exception. Michaels as Co-GM is certainly different, and it will be cool to see where you take it. Punk/ Kane was good, and Punk/ Orton should be great. Good Kane promo, I really hope you give him another title reign down the line. I didn't like Kingston going over Cade, since Santino/ Kingston's been done, and I really want Cade to get a push. Great to see Burchill going over, and his alliance with Regal is really going well so far. a tag team ladder match is cool, although I'm not really fussed on who wins.

Good opening angle on Raw, this CM Punk and Randy Orton feud actually intrigues me. Nice opening match, good build up for Paul Burchill's character but I wish you'd give Jamie Noble a mini-push. Seems like an interesting idea to have Shawn Michaels as Co-General Manager. Nice six man tag team match, I like the Simply Priceless team being expanded. But I liked that D'Lo teamed with Cryme Tyme and actually got the pinfall victory. JBL beating Haas serves as no suprise. But now I wish Haas got a push. Good Intercontinental Championship contenders match with Kofi Kingston and Lance Cade, but good that Kingston won. Suprisingly good womens four way contenders match, glad Mickie won though. Come to think about it, there is no good choices for womens title contenders excluding Mickie. Seemed like a solid main event, good advancing of two feuds also.

Tuesday, Week 3, September 2008
ECW starts up with John Morrison & The Miz standing in the ring. Morrison talks about how he has waited at the back of the line for too long. Now at No Mercy he finally gets the chance to become champion again. Morrison says there is no way he will let this chance get away. Miz takes over and says that although he wishes it was him facing Hardy he is just glad it is one of them. He will put himself aside for a moment and he will make sure that John Morrison has gold around his waist.
They are then interrupted by the ECW Champion, Matt Hardy. Matt says that this is all great and that but they forgot one thing. The only way to take the title away from him is to kill him and Matt Hardy will not die. He says Morrison had his chance as champion last year and he blew it. There is no chance in hell that Matt Hardy will not be walking out of No Mercy as champion even if that means taking down both of them at once.
Miz & Morrison step up wanting to fight when Finlay comes down to the ring. Finlay gets in and grabs the microphone but before he even says a word he drops it. Finlay drops the microphone and charges at Miz. Finlay takes him down to the mat as Matt Hardy & John Morrison begin to exchange blows. After a few shots Finlay & Hardy sends Miz & Morrison running up the stage. As they walk up the ramp, Teddy Long makes an appearance. He announces that the main event for tonight will see Miz & Morrison teaming up to face Finlay and the ECW Champion Matt Hardy. Hardy & Finlay look happy as they stand strong in the ring!
Single Match – Tommy Dreamer vs. Vladirmir Kozlov Dreamer came out to talk about something but before he could say anything Kozlov interrupted. Dreamer wasn’t in the mood to fight but Kozlov wasn’t taking no for an answer as the two began fighting. This wasn’t much of a match. Kozlov pretty much dominated. He threw Dreamer around the ring like he was nothing. Dreamer did try his best and gave Kozlov some hard strikes but Kozlov was not affected. As Dreamer ran into the ropes and came back to hit Kozlov he was only met with a huge headbutt to the chest. Kozlov just powered into him like a battering ram. 1…2…3! Vladirmir Kozlov def. Tommy Dreamer by pinfall
Gavin Spears came walking out for his match up next when suddenly Elijah Burke came running in from behind and knocked Spears to the ground. Burke began beating into him with hard punches and kicks. He finally brought him down to ringside and delivered an Elijah Experience on the hard mats beside the ring. Burke then lifted him up and rolled him into the ring as the match began.
Single Match – Elijah Burke vs. Gavin Spears Spears was completely defenseless. Burke just messed around with him with slaps and a few jabs. He then sent him into the corner and hit the Elijah Express but did not pin him. Instead he stood him up and hit just a straight right hand into the jaw of Spears. Spears fell to the mat like a ton of bricks. The referee checked on him and called the end of the match as Spears was knocked out! Elijah Burke def. Gavin Spears by knockout
After the match Burke stood over Gavin and slapped him a few more times. He then got onto the microphone and announced his record now stands at 105-1. Burke says he is unstoppable in ECW and he is here to become champion. He was never given the chance he deserved and that he could have been ECW Champion if he wasn’t held back. He brings out Kenny Dykstra and says how Kenny has also been held back that he is unable to show his true potential. Burke says that starting right now they will be given the right chances and they will not let anyone pass them by ever again. Kenny lifts up Spears and holds him up from behind. Burke slaps him a few more times before hitting him with a right hook. Spears goes down once again and is knocked clean out. Burke and Kenny laugh at their attack before leaving to the back.
Single Match – Evan Bourne vs. Super Crazy Both men shook hands before the match as a sign of respect. This was a good match with was even with the main event as match of the night. Very fast paced with a lot of high spots. Both men were flying all over the place. A ton of chain wrestling, they went back and forth a lot and at times would both just let go and step back and clap for each other. Crazy seems to be gaining a few pounds and got exhausted a bit quicker than expected. Bourne did great and had the whole crowd behind him. In the end of the match Crazy went on the turnbuckle while Bourne was down. Crazy leaped off for a Moonsault but Bourne rolled away. Crazy hit the mat face first hard and was down and out. Bourne got to his feet and quickly climbed the turnbuckle. He leaped off with his own move and hit a picture perfect Shooting Star Press. 1…2…3! Both men shook hands and celebrated afterwards. Evan Bourne def. Super Crazy by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press
Tag Team Match – Matt Hardy & Finlay vs. John Morrison & The Miz This was a good match between these four. Miz & Morrison dominated the majority by keeping Finlay away from tagging Matt Hardy. Later on Finlay fought back and took down Miz allowing Finlay to crawl and tag in Matt Hardy. Miz tagged in Morrison but he was no match as Matt Hardy came running in and cleaned house. Both men got sent to the outside leaving Hardy alone in the ring waiting. The referee leaned through the ropes to check on them as Hardy stood back. Suddenly Finlay came into the ring with his Shillelagh and hit Matt Hardy right in the back of the head with it. Hardy went crashing to the mat as Finlay just stood over him. Finlay then dropped the Shillelagh and walked out of the ring and up the stage. Morrison crawled back into the ring and had no idea what happened as he crawls onto Hardy and makes the pin. 1…2…3! Miz & Morrison def. Finlay & Hardy pinfall following a Shillelagh shot by Finlay on Hardy
After the match Morrison & Miz celebrate and hold up the ECW Title. Hornswaggle comes out from hiding and crawls into the ring he checks on Matt Hardy and picks up Finlay’s Shillelagh having no idea what to do and why Finlay turned on him. Hornswaggle runs to the back leaving Hardy out cold in the middle of the ring!

The main event was solid, and a good way to build towards the ECW title match. Finlay turning was great, and I really hope that this leads to Finlay getting a title shot soon. A Burke/ Dykstra alliance is pretty cool, and it would be nice to see the pair get the push they deserve. Nice to see Kozlov getting the win, I don't know why but I'm slowly becoming a fan of the big russian. Great to see Bourne get another win as well.

ECW was pretty good. Really cool to see Kozlov winning but I'm not too sure about him on ECW at the moment in ECW's current state. Cool to see Elijah Burke there as I wish he was back in the real WWE. Cool to see Finlay attacking Hardy as well, and I assume a feud is coming between the two. Keep it up!

ECW was a good show man, you are really good at building up stuff well and the Miz/Morrison/Hardy/Finlay stuff to bookend the show was a good example of this, the only thing however with Finlay turning heel is I don't really know if you have enough faces to work with atm to turn him heel, however I look forward to seeing how you handle it and an eventual Finlay/Hardy feud should be good. I like the pairing of Burke & Dykstra and look forward to seeing where that heads as well, I don't like Spears jobbing though. Overall good stuff man and I look forward to more.

Friday, Week 3, September 2008
Smackdown starts up with the WWE Champion, Triple H coming to the ring. Triple H says that in two weeks time he has to defend the WWE Title against Jeff Hardy. He says that Jeff has had his chances in the past and to be honest he screws them all up. Triple H says that he will give Jeff the match but if he really believes he has a chance of winning his got another thing coming.
Jeff Hardy comes out and gets into the ring. He tells Triple H that like it or not this is Hardy’s time to shine. There is no way he will let this chance slip away and so Triple H had better be ready to hand over the belt at No Mercy. He says that he has already defeated Triple H before almost a year ago at Armageddon and Triple H hasn’t beaten him one on one. So when that trend continues there will be no hope for Triple H to walk out with the belt. Triple H just starts laughing at him before stepping up face to face with him and putting on a serious face.
Triple H tells Jeff that he got lucky at Armageddon but his luck has ran out. If Hardy thinks he can do this then it’s his funeral. The King of Kings will sit on his throne for years to come and nobody especially Jeff Hardy will ever be able to knock him off. Hardy steps up and says that at No Mercy he will play the Game and for Triple H its Game Over!
Vickie interrupts and announces Triple H teaming with Jeff Hardy to take on Umaga & The Great Khali in the main event.
Single Match – Gregory Helms vs. Scotty Goldman This was just a quick squash. Goldman tried his best but Helms just dominated. In the end of the match Goldman tried getting to his feet slowly. Helms ran up to him and hit a Shining Wizard. 1…2…3! Gregory Helms def. Scotty Goldman by pinfall with a Shining Wizard
After the match R-Truth came running through the crowd and jumped over the barricade. He slid into the ring expecting to attack Helms but Gregory was too quick. Helms fled the ring and charged up the ramp. R-Truth left the ring and chased after him to the back.
Vickie is seen with Umaga backstage. She tells him that tonight after dealing with Triple H & Jeff Hardy they can get back to The Undertaker. She says that Umaga had better do this. Both Edge & Big Show failed at their task and she will not accept failure a 3rd time. Big Show suddenly enters Vickie’s office and tells her that it wasn’t his fault that he didn’t beat Undertaker and it wasn’t his fault he lost to Jeff Hardy last week. He says that he deserves more than he is getting. Umaga can’t destroy Undertaker like he can and Jeff Hardy is a waste of a title match. Vickie thinks about it and says that his right he does deserve more of a chance so tonight he will go one on one with Shelton Benjamin in a non title match. If he wins then maybe they can talk a bit further next week. Big Show isn’t exactly happy but is willing to do as he is told again.
Tag Team Match – Carlito & Primo Colon vs. The Canadian Bulldogs This was an alright match. Both teams did well and it was quite even. Primo Colon didn’t get a lot of offense and would usually be beaten down but Carlito fought hard to help his partner. Canadian Bulldogs are getting a good reaction from the crowd. In the end of the match Primo Colon got the tag but was unsuccessful in beating up DH Smith. Smith then lifted Colon onto his shoulder trying to hit a Running Powerslam but Carlito ran in and quickly delivered the Backstabber on Smith. Smith went down and was out while TJ Wilson ran into the ring and threw himself and Carlito over the ropes to the outside. This left Primo & Smith in the ring. Primo got up and lifted Smith to his feet trying to take advantage of Carlito’s Backstabber. Primo climbed the turnbuckle while still holding Smith. Primo went to hit something but Smith blocked it and pulled Primo off the turnbuckle and onto his shoulder. Smith then ran and delivered a Powerslam. 1…2…3! The Canadian Bulldogs def. Carlito & Primo Colon by pinfall with a Running Powerslam on Primo
After the match Hawkins & Ryder are seen backstage heading into Vickie’s office. Vickie is busy on the phone but Hawkins & Ryder are determined to talk to her. They keep shouting at her until finally she listens to them. They try telling her that they can’t defend the Tag Team Titles at No Mercy. Vickie turns her angry grin into a happy understanding one as she agrees with the champions. She says there is no way they will be facing The Canadian Bulldogs at No Mercy because they will be facing them next week on Smackdown with the Tag Titles on the line. Now they had better leave her alone and never interrupt her again otherwise she will strip them of the belts. They listen as quickly run out of the office scared!
Single Match – WWE Diva’s Championship No.1 Contender Michelle McCool vs. Gail Kim These two had quite a good match. The fans were into it the whole way through. Both women had a ton of respect for each other and shook hands before in a may the best diva win sort of way. McCool seemed to be more in control of Kim but Kim would fight back every now and then and just completely take out Michelle. Natalya & Victoria came out near the end and watched the match from ringside. In the end of the match Michelle was in control again. She kicked Kim in the midsection and put her head between her legs. She pulled back both her arms to attempt the Wings of Love. Michelle tries lifting Gail Kim up but Kim fights it. She stops the move and ends up getting her arms released. While still bent down Kim uses all her strength to lift Michelle McCool up and onto her shoulder. She then pushes Michelle a bit further over her shoulder so her head is just under her arm. She then drops McCool down head first in the mat. 1…2…3! Gail Kim def. Michelle McCool by pinfall
Single Match – Shelton Benjamin vs. The Big Show This was a really good match. There different styles actually worked well together. Big Show tried using his power to throw Benjamin around but Shelton would use his speed to run around Show. Big Show would capture him on a few occasions and just beat him down with some really hard shots. Big Show tried keeping Benjamin off his feet so he couldn’t move about. Benjamin fought back and got in a few shots and even a nice kick to the head. He tried hitting a few moves but sometimes he just wouldn’t be strong enough to hit them on the Big Show. In the end of the match The Brian Kendrick came down to the ring and stood at ringside watching the match with Ezekiel Jackson. Kendrick even went and picked up the United States Title which distracted Benjamin and the referee. Big Show stood back as Montel Vontavious Porter came into the ring and ran at Benjamin. Shelton turned around and was met with a kick straight to the face. MVP rolled out of the ring allowing Big Show to cover. 1…2…3! Big Show def. Shelton Benjamin by pinfall following interference from MVP
After the match Big Show left the ring leaving Benjamin alone. Benjamin got to his feet and got on the microphone. He told MVP & Kendrick that his had enough of Kendrick & MVP. Obviously this place isn’t big enough for the three of them and so how about they settle this at No Mercy. MVP vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Shelton Benjamin for the United States Title. Benjamin says that the Gold Standard will still be shining gold when the match is over!
Handicap Match – Vladimir Kozlov vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Funaki This was just a squash. Kozlov destroyed both men and neither Yang nor Funaki got any advantage at all. Kozlov ran at Yang and rammed his head right into his abdomen. He then turned around and did the same thing to Funaki exact Funaki flew back so far he went right through the ropes to the outside. Kozlov then went and pinned Yang for another victory! Vladimir Kozlov def. Jimmy Wang Yang & Funaki by pinfall with a Battering Ram on Yang
After the match Kozlov said something in Russian but then tried saying something in English which nobody could understand except Open Challenge. Kozlov then drops the microphone and leaves the ring!
Before the main event begins Vickie Guerrero brings out Hawkins & Ryder to stand guard at the bottom of the ramp incase Undertaker comes down. Vickie sits in her wheelchair to cheer on Umaga!
Tag Team Match – Triple H & Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga & The Great Khali This was a really good match. Match of the night along with Big Show vs. Benjamin. This was Khali’s final match before he retires and he tried his best to make it a good one. Triple H & Hardy did not like teaming together and often resulted in hard tags or no tags whatsoever. Triple H tried to do it all by himself but the big guys were too much for him alone. Umaga & Khali dominated the majority by keeping Hardy grounded and unable to tag in Triple H. In the end of the match Hardy began to fight back as he took down Umaga with a spinning heel kick. Hardy crawled to his corner while Umaga crawled to his. Simultaneously Hardy & Umaga tagged in their partners. Triple H & Khali came in and Triple H dodged a clothesline, came back and hit a high knee to the head of Khali. Khali shook it off like nothing happened and went back on the attack. Hardy came in to help but he got lifted up and tossed to the outside for his trouble. Umaga then came in and went to hit a Samoan Spike on Triple H. The WWE Champion was able to duck at the last second as Umaga’s thumb went straight into Khali who stood behind him. Khali got knocked back but not down. Triple H then shoved Umaga forward as Jeff got onto the apron and pulled down the top rope. Umaga went flying over to the outside. Triple H then kicked Khali in the midsection and hit a Pedigree in the middle of the ring. Jeff climbed the turnbuckle, jumped off and hit a Swanton Bomb on Khali. Jeff rolled to the outside in pain as Triple H quickly got on Khali. 1…2…3! Triple H & Jeff Hardy def. Umaga & Khali by pinfall after a Pedigree & Swanton on Khali
After the match Triple H & Hardy had a very brief stare down and then left the ring. Umaga got into the ring when suddenly the lights in the arena turned off and a dark blue glow filled the arena. Gongs began echoing around the building signaling The Deadman. Vickie shouted at Ryder & Hawkins to go get him as they ran up the ramp. They went backstage to find him leaving Umaga & Vickie, who had suddenly healed her legs and got out of her wheelchair, in the ring. Suddenly a lightning bolt flashes towards the ring as The Undertaker appears out of the darkness. Undertaker stands behind Vickie & Umaga and waits. He breaths down their neck and sends a shiver down their spine. Vickie slowly turns around and yells out a huge scream that could be heard all over the world. Umaga turns around only to be met by some right hands from Undertaker. Umaga tried fighting back but Undertaker dodged any shots. Vickie had fled the ring and stood at ringside screaming for help. Umaga hit Undertaker with a head butt and ran into the ropes. He came running back towards Undertaker only to be met with a Big Boot to the face. Umaga backed off but not down allowing Undertaker to grab him by the throat. He lifted Umaga into the air just a little bit and sent him down with a Chokeslam. Hawkins & Ryder were suddenly back as they appeared through the curtain. They went to run down the stage when flames burst up in front of them. The wall of fire blocked any sort of path between them and the ring. Vickie tried running up the ramp but could not get past the wall of fire. Undertaker got out of the ring and followed her up. She has nowhere to go and nobody to save her as Undertaker grabs her by the throat. Umaga is slowly coming around but he is unable to leave the ring as fire bursts up around the ring surrounding Umaga by fire. Vickie is all alone and is now has tears pouring from her eyes. Undertaker voice can be heard of the speakers. He tells Vickie that her soul is wanted. Her soul will burn in the eternal flames of hell. The devil is reaching out for it and in mere moments he will grasp it by the throat and pull it down into the flames. It will burn and suffer as darkness consumes her body. Vickie your time has come, Rest in Peace.
Undertaker rolls back his eyes as he lifts Vickie into the air. He steps forward and chokeslams Vickie into the flames and onto the stage. Part of the stage collapses as Vickie falls through and is engulfed in fire. Undertaker stands beside the flames and kneels down. Smackdown comes to an end as Hawkins, Ryder, Umaga and the whole WWE Universe looks on at Vickie’s demise!
