The Smackdown rating has not yet come in. They are apparently having problems with their rating system at the moment but once its fixed and the numbers released we shall update you with the numbers.
Currently Big Show is expected to continue in the Undertaker feud alongside Undertaker. Edge will also be returning soon which means he will be playing some part in the storyline.
Jeff Hardy is currently not expected to win the title. WWE don't have a ton of faith in him and don't feel like its his time just yet. Its being expected he will not be getting another chance for a while and this is just another preview of him in the title match. Triple H is expected to be also added to the Undertaker storyline and feud with Show, Umaga, Taker & Edge over the next few months.
WWE are expecting to announced that the WWE Tag Team Titles will be officially both an ECW Title and a Smackdown Title. It has had ECW Champions in Miz & Morrison before but then it wasn't really 100% if it was Smackdown or ECW. Now they will make it official for both and so expect some new tag teams being formed in ECW and being added to the division alongside The Bulldogs, Edgeheads, and Carlito & Primo. Also rumors going around is The Canadian Bulldogs will become champions next week on Smackdown.
Vladimir Kozlov could be ready for a midcard title. He is building up slowly but without doing anything soon he could end up losing all momentum and ruin his whole character. WWE could be including him in the United States title hunt.
We have some news about Batista's "injury". Apparently Batista isnt quite happy with his current push and wanted to be champion back at The Great American Bash. WWE didn't feel it was the right time which caused Batista to not be in a great mood with the booking team right now. He has even considered retirement quite soon. WWE are expected to keep Batista off camera until he works out his future and then if he stays then he may get a big push next year and if he retires WWE will back him up all the way.
Vickie being sent to hell finally is said to be the end of Vickie at this point in time. A return in the future is possible but after being chokeslammed through the stage it doesn't look like she could just suddenly appear in a few weeks. Also to people that are wondering how they got Vickie to perform such a risky stunt it was all set up so much with a lot of watch. They had taken all necessary safety precautions to make sure Vickie wouldn't feel a thing. They did the same that magicians do when they light themselves on fire to make sure she wouldn't burn and had all protected padding under the not so hard stage. Vickie came out unhurt and didn't fell a thing.
Finally The Great Khali was apparently released officially on Tuesday meaning he did show up for the TV Tapings. Since he was there the booking team decided to use him one last time before he retires to put over Hardy & Triple H. He said his goodbyes to everyone at the show and seemed alright by his retirement since now he can heal his legs. Khali has a ton of respect backstage and so a lot of people were sad to see him go.

I enjoyed the opening segment, nice that you're keeping neutral with Triple H and Jeff Hardy. The opening match was alright, nice build for Gregory Helms' character, but imo, Scotty Goldman needs a push, team him with Funaki to add to the Tag Team division. Good tag team match, glad that the Canadian Bulldogs actually beat the Colon Brothers. Hmm, filler diva contenders match, good that Gail Kim is heading to face Natalya. Hmm, maybe have a face MVP? Seemed like it during Show vs. Benjamin. Build-up for Koslov...I think Koslov should beat midcarders now. Good tag team main event, liked Hardy and HHH staring each other down afterwards. Suprised about Khali in the MOTN. The end segment was awesome, glad Vickie Guerrero is gone now.

Smackdown was good. Glad you had Goldman lost as I thought he was going to win. Good to see Gail get the W over Michelle McCool. Interested to see where you go with Kozlov. Makes sense to have Khali lose at the end.

Smackdown was a great show, and the ending segment was superb, easilly one of the best things I have seen done in a WWE diary. The main event was solid, and I liked how Triple H stole the pinfall. Benjamin/ Show was a good match, and the ending was a good way to make both men look strong. I would have prefered to have seen Carlito & Primo get the win, since I'm finding it difficult to get behind the Canadian Bulldogs. Cool to see Gail get the title shot, and it is great to see Helms getting another win, but I really wish you would give Goldman a push.

Big news has just been announced. It turns out Mickie James was caught last night in possession of soft drugs. WWE's drug testing policy states soft drugs only receive a fine and so Mickie James is being let off easy. She is expected to lose her push she was set to have at No Mercy. This has caught the media's attention but only a few places have reported the story as big news.
The ECW rating is in. ECW drew a 0.22 rating on the Sci-Fi Network. This is down from last weeks 0.23 which means its not looking good for ECW at the moment.
The Smackdown rating is also in. Smackdown drew a 2.52 rating on MyNetwork TV. This is also down from last weeks 2.90. Although its only one week and not a huge drop WWE should still be under a bit of pressure to improve the product in the coming weeks.
Finally WWE have got in contact with numerous talent around the world and are trying to sign some new people to put in development in FCW. Apparently a few big ROH names were contacted.

Monday, Week 4, September 2008
Raw starts up as the World Heavyweight Champion walks out from the back. He gets on the microphone and says that last week was the last of it. His had enough of Orton being around. If Orton really thinks he can beat him then fine let’s see this Sunday at No Mercy. CM Punk calls out Mike Adamle or Shawn Michaels and demands he make the match right now.
The new Co-General Manager, Shawn Michaels walks out. Michaels gets on the microphone and tells Punk that his seen what Orton has been doing over the past few weeks and he agrees it’s unacceptable anymore. He hopes Orton is taught a lesson as CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at No Mercy against Randy Orton. However tonight since Orton has been missing from action these past few weeks it’s about time he get in the ring. So tonight it will be Randy Orton teaming up with the Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella to take on Kofi Kingston & the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.
Randy Orton interrupts and stands up on the stage. Orton warns Punk that now there is no going back. He sealed his fate and will have to suffer the consequences. Come Sunday his reign of luck comes to an end and the Orton era reigns supreme!
Single Match – John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Chuck Palumbo Another squash for JBL. Palumbo did put up more of a fight but it was no trouble for JBL. In the end JBL delivered a Clothesline From Hell for the win. 1…2…3! After the match JBL walks off again with an angry expression on his face. JBL def. Chuck Palumbo by pinfall with a Clothesline From Hell
Tag Team Match – Beth Phoenix & Katie Lea Burchill vs. Mickie James & Kelly Kelly A good match between these four divas. Mickie didn’t seem to get much offense at all possibly thanks to her drug bust last week. Beth & Katie looked good and during the match even had a little staredown foreshadowing a possible confrontation between them in the future. They worked well other than that though. Kelly got a good reaction from men but only because she looked good. Her wrestling was still poor and her timing was really off. In the end of the match Mickie James got the tag and came running in. She got her main offense of the match as she took down Beth & Katie Lea. Mickie then went for a Mickie-DT. Beth Phoenix quickly broke it up though and went to hit Mickie but Mickie reversed. She fought back and shoved Beth through the ropes to the outside. Suddenly Katie Lea grabbed Mickie by the hair and pulled her downwards. Katie kneeled down as Mickie fell backwards slamming her back down across Katie’s knee. 1…2…3! Beth Phoenix def. Mickie James & Kelly Kelly by pinfall with a Hair Pull Backbreaker by Katie Lea
Backstage Kane is seen in a dark, red glowing corridor staring at his old mask hanging on the wall. He begins talking to it like it’s a person. Kane: “Where is Rey Mysterio?” Mask:”……………” Kane:”No, there is no way I made sure Mysterio went to hell.” Kane now begins to get a headache and holds his head in pain. Mask:”……………” Kane:”Nooooooooo, Shut up!” Kane hits the mask forcing it to fall to the floor. Kane:”I did it right, Mysterio is suffering he must be I didn’t fail my task. I did what was asked of me and I made sure it was done. ” Mask:”…………………” Kane:”I know, I know. Your right ill do as you say. Let’s go find the next one.” Kane picks up the mask and walks down the corridor with it in his hand.
Single Match – D-Lo Brown vs. Joe Hennig Joe is trying to come back from his loss last week by defeating D-Lo. This is an alright match. Joe is improving a lot. He got in a lot of offense but did get taking down quite easier since his a rookie. Simply Priceless came down to the ring mid match but did not get involved and instead just watched. D-Lo thought he had the match over as he took down Joe and went up on the turnbuckle. D-Lo jumped off for a Lo Down but Joe rolled out of the way. D-Lo hit the mat hard but got back to his right away. He turned around only to be grabbed by Joe Hennig and hit with a Perfect-Plex. 1…2…3! Joe Hennig def. D-Lo Brown by pinfall with a Perfect-Plex
Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes get into the ring and congratulate Joe on his win. Ted then gets on the microphone and talks about Cryme Tyme. He says that its just 6 days until the ladder match and Simply Perfect & Priceless are on top of the world. Last week was just a small set back but come Sunday they will walk out still Perfect, Priceless, and Tag Team Champions. Cryme Tyme interrupt and come running out. They run down the ramp and into the ring which forces Simply Perfect & Priceless to flee the ring. Cryme Tyme stands tall as they get set up for their match.
Tag Team Match – Cryme Tyme vs. William Regal & Paul Burchill Before the match begins Regal gets onto the microphone and states that after teaching some good old English respect into these thugs they will move on and be the next challengers for the World Tag Team Titles. This was a good match. Both teams did well and the fans were in full support of Cryme Tyme. Regal & Burchill worked well together and their styles worked perfectly with Regal being the mat technician and Burchill being the powerful brawler. Cryme Tyme got beaten down the majority with JTG being on the receiving end of it all. In the end though JTG fought back and found his partner Shad in the corner for the tag. Shad came in and overpowered both men. He threw Regal & Burchill around the ring. JTG then came running in and clotheslined Regal over the top rope. Burchill blocked Shad’s boot and took Shad down. Burchill ran and tossed JTG over the ropes leaving him alone with Shad. As the referee leaned outside to check on JTG & Regal, Jamie Noble came running down. Noble got into the ring only be picked up and thrown back out again by Burchill. That small distraction was just enough as Shad got to his feet. Shad grabs Burchill and puts his arm across his chest. Shad then sweeps up Burchill’s leg with his own to slam Burchill down back first on the mat. 1…2…3! Cryme Tyme def. William Regal & Paul Burchill by pinfall on Burchill
Backstage Lance Cade bursts into Mike Adamle’s office. He quickly tells him not to listen to Michaels he deserves another chance. This is without realizing Mike Adamle isn’t even in the room and instead its only Shawn Michaels. Shawn turns and smiles at Cade. Lance Cade can’t believe his luck. Michaels puts his arm around Cade and welcomes him in. He says that he is very caring general manager and he is willing to listen to his request. Cade hesitates a bit but then asks Shawn as nicely as he can that he wants another chance to face Santino Marella at No Mercy. Shawn thinks about it hard and then replies by saying please. Cade doesn’t want to but tells Shawn please. Shawn thinks again and agrees. He says that Cade definitely deserves another chance and so at No Mercy Lance Cade will be in the Intercontinental Title match. Cade is happy and says thanks but before he can quickly get out of there and away from Shawn he is stopped. Shawn says however you may have to be taken out of the match. Cade will have to defeat a superstar in order to stay in the match. What better man could he face then The Big Red Machine Kane. Oh and its next!
Single Match – Kane vs. Lance Cade This wasn’t a very long match but it was long enough. Kane seemed to dominate Cade. Lance tried his best with a bit of offense but it just didn’t work. In the end Kane hit a Chokeslam on Cade in the middle of the ring. He was about to pin when the music of Rey Mysterio started up. Kane got to his feet and stared at the entrance way. He began getting his headaches again as he shouted No. He went over and picked up his old mask. He was seen talking to it but nothing could be heard. Suddenly Kane then drops the mask and goes to ringside. He shoves staff about and takes a steel chair from ringside. He gets back in the ring and waits for Mysterio to come. Suddenly he senses someone behind him and quickly turns. He swings the chair around and hits the person right in the face. As Kane looked down though his victim was Lance Cade. The referee called for the bell giving the win to Lance Cade. Lance Cade def. Kane by DQ following a Chair Shot on Cade
After the match Kane picks up his mask and begins talking to it again. The only thing that can be heard is sorry and that he will take care of Mysterio one final time!
Tag Team Match – Randy Orton & Santino Marella vs. CM Punk & Kofi Kingston This was match of the night and a good way to build up for Sunday’s No Mercy. Orton seemed to get Santino to do all the work and stayed away whenever Punk got in the ring. Santino used any dirty tactic he could to take advantage as he would just get beaten up otherwise. Kofi got a good reaction and went right after Santino. The match was quite even with all four men getting in a good amount of offense. In the end though Punk got tagged in at the same time Orton did. Punk wanted to fight but Orton wasn’t ready as he backed away. Punk ran at Orton but Orton quickly tagged in Santino and fled the ring saying not till Sunday. Santino was a bit hurt and tired and didn’t really realize he was tagged in as Punk lifted him up over the ropes and into the ring. Santino didn’t want to fight either but Punk wasn’t taking it as he lifted Santino onto his shoulder and hit the Go to Sleep. 1…2…3! CM Punk & Kofi Kingston def. Randy Orton & Santino Marella by pinfall after the Go to Sleep on Santino Marella
After the match Orton slides into the ring undiscovered. He runs at Punk attempting an RKO but Punk somehow blocks it and shoves Orton away. Orton turns around and is met with a slap to the face by Punk followed by a high kick to the face. Orton gets knocked down and rolls under the ropes to the outside. Punk stands up on the ropes holding the World Heavyweight Title as he stares down at Orton to end Raw! [/color]

Seemed like a good kick-off to the RAW show, CM Punk wanting a piece of Randy Orton. I like that Shawn Michaels is the co-general manager of RAW. Good set-up for the main event of the evening, oughta be decent. I hate that you've squashed Chuck Palumbo and fed him to JBL. I understand that there was nobody else to 'kill' but you gotta give Palumbo a mini-feud at least. I was amused by Kane talking to his mask. Maybe it leads to the return of him wearing it? I'm a little suprised you're pushing Joe Hennig as far as putting him over D'Lo Brown so soon. I pray that you don't push him to the main event or a title too soon. Give it at least until Survivor Series if you're going to give him the Intercontinental Championship. Cryme Tyme beating Burchill and Regal is fine, as long as Burchill and Regal got offense in, I'd personally like a three way rivalry, here. I laughed at you handing Cade a big-time match, then having him beat Kane by disqualification. The main event seemed very well done yet I'm a little perplexed that there wasn't much involvement in the finish between the Kingston/Marella and Punk/Orton storylines. Could of used Punk cleanly beating Orton or visa-versa. Good show, however. And despite No Mercy being a week and six days away, it's looking packed out. I hope you don't put too many matches into the PPV, WWE don't usually put EVERY title into a PPV [excluding NOC].

Tuesday, Week 4, September 2008
Last night's Raw got a 3.77 rating on the USA Network. Although only up by .07 it is still rising up. WE are very happy with the Raw ratings and hope it continues and can help improve Smackdown & ECW.
The Orton vs. Punk feud is expected to come to an end right after No Mercy. It has been going well so far but WWE don't see enough potential in it to keep it going any longer. Whoever walks out champion which could be anyone of them at the moment will move on to face a new challenger.
Lance Cade is the most likely one to walk out Intercontinental Champion. Cade is being pushed higher each week especially this week with a big win over Kane. Interaction between him and Michaels will continue over the next few weeks leading to the return of Y2J.
Batista is still in a bad mood. WWE were hoping to srt his situation out before No Mercy so he could make an appearance but Batista wont accept anything. He has been in a very bad mood with WWE and wont accept more money or anything. Currently anything could happen with Batista right now. Vince is doing all he can to keep him happy but Batista may just have had enough.
JBL has contacted Vince McMahon and is setting up a meeting with him in the next week or so to talk about his future. This seems to be the real deal and it looks like JBL will be competing in the ring much longer. He could have one final match on Raw or at next months Cyber Sunday.
Simply Perfect & Priceless are expected to start using the "Freebird" Rule if they retain at No Mercy or in the future if they win the belts back. Joe Hennig will most likely not be in as many title matches as Cody & DiBiase since he is still improving but he may get a few chances here and there.
Finally Kane & Mysterio will not be having a match at No Mercy. WWE have decided to turn it into just a segment with Kane mysterious behavior continuing. Mysterio will show up and be back in action full time from now on. WWE have had to change the storyline up a bit since Batista is still having problems but after Raw they seem to be happy with its new direction and are hoping it can really help push Kane.

And despite No Mercy being a week and six days away, it's looking packed out. I hope you don't put too many matches into the PPV, WWE don't usually put EVERY title into a PPV [excluding NOC]. I actually messed the schedule up and so No Mercy is now a week earlier. Stupid mistake on my part but it works out fine and gives a bit more time to build up for Cyber Sunday. Also there will only be about one more match and that's because on TEW unless you do 20-25 min matches the whole way through it will never fill a show and so I usually have to book more matches so I don't have to put in crap filler segments.

This is going pretty well. I still think too many mid-carders/undercarders are being used on a weekly basis. I found it cool to see Santino Marella in a main event match though, although he obviously lost. No Mercy should be good, although I hope that Orton and Marella win their matches. Please drop a reply to ECW 2007 when you get a chance.

Tuesday, Week 4, September 2008
ECW starts up with Finlay coming to the ring. He says that he realizes everybody is wondering why he attacked Matt Hardy last week. He invites Hardy down to the ring so he can tell him face to face. Hardy listens as he walks out from the back and gets into the ring. He stands face to face with Finlay who begins to explain.
Finlay tells Hardy that ever since he got drafted to ECW he has been nothing more than a joke. All anyone is ever doing is laughing at him. Well now he isn’t going to take the laughing anymore. He attacked Hardy to prove a point and that he means business here in ECW. Unfortunately he missed his chance to get into the title match at No Mercy but next month at Cyber Sunday that’s a whole different story. He warns Hardy that he can expect to see Finlay standing in the opposite corner.
Hardy speaks up now saying he understands wanting to make an impact however he did it with the wrong man. He was going to just focus with Morrison but it won’t hurt to deal with Finlay first. He tells Finlay why wait till Cyber Sunday why don’t they go at it right here tonight. Teddy Long interrupts him and comes out from the back. Teddy Long agrees with Matt Hardy so tonight Matt Hardy will be in a non title match against Finlay and if Finlay wins he will consider him for the No.1 Contender shot next month.
Hardy seems happy as he turns around to leave. Suddenly Finlay pulls a Shillelagh out of his jeans. Finlay steps forward and smacks it across the back of Hardy’s head. Hardy falls to the mat where Finlay throws in one kick to the head before leaving the ring. Hardy lays down holding his head in pain!
Single Match – Evan Bourne vs. Armando Estrada Estrada makes a return with no explanation. This was a good match as Armando got in a bit of offense surprisingly. Evan got a big cheer from the crowd and seemed on fire tonight. Armando almost gets the win with a school boy as he put his legs onto the ropes. Luckily for Evan Bourne the referee caught Estrada in the act and stopped the count. Evan then came back with his fast paced style taking down Armando. Evan then went up on the turnbuckle and leaped off with a picture perfect Shooting Star Press. 1…2…3! Evan Bourne def. Armando Estrada by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press
Elijah Burke comes out to the ring with Kenny Dykstra. Burke tells the fans that they are here tonight to prove to everyone why they are the most talented, exciting and naturally gifted superstars on ECW. Burke says that all these no talented rejects need to step aside. People like Finlay, Tommy Dreamer, Super Crazy, and Matt Hardy. They are pathetic and give true talent like themselves a bad name. Of course there is some good in ECW like Evan Bourne. He has all the potential but is wasting it. He needs to get it into his head that to make it in this business you need more than potential. I’ve had potential, Kenny has had potential but we have moved on. People like them and Bourne need to stick together so they can push the no talent out of the way and turn ECW into a home for true talent. Bourne and all with talent need to think about it since the times are changing and if they don’t make the right choice then they will be forced to sweep them out with the rest of the trash!
Tag Team Match – Elijah Burke & Kenny Dykstra vs. Tommy Dreamer & Super Crazy This was a good match. All four men did well and the fans enjoyed it. Burke & Kenny made frequent tags and tried isolating Crazy in their corner for most of the match. Both men would beat him down into the mat and stop him from getting to his feet. Dreamer was left on the apron getting very inpatient. Near the end of the match Burke’s cockiness got the best of him as he stood Crazy up and shouted in his face. Crazy used this time to get his breath back before slapping Burke in the face. Burke stepped back shocked by it but when he turned his head back to Crazy it was met with a kick to the head to knock him down. Both men began crawling to their corners and reached out for the tag. Burke got their first as he slapped Dykstra’s hand. Crazy was close as Dykstra came in and quickly leaped the final inch or so to slap Dreamer’s hand. Dreamer came running in and cleaned house. He knocked Kenny down multiple times before Burke came running in and got knocked down as well. Kenny came back with a few shots on Dreamer. Super Crazy tried to get back involved but the ref had enough as he stepped in and blocked Crazy from getting involved. Dreamer fought back as he kicked Kenny in the midsection and went for the Dreamer DDT. However before he could hit it Elijah Burke came running into the ring and quickly hit a he Uppercut right into the jaw of Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer fell down out cold as Burke quickly fled the ring allowing Kenny to lay on top of Dreamer for the count. 1…2…3! After the match while Burke & Kenny celebrated you can just about hear Burke shout out 106-1. Elijah Burke & Kenny Dykstra def. Tommy Dreamer & Super Crazy by pinfall after an Uppercut on Dreamer
Backstage we see The Miz standing by. The Miz says that over the past couple of weeks his stepped out of the way to allow John Morrison to deal with Matt Hardy. However since Morrison is now going to beat Hardy this Sunday its time The Miz get back into action. He tells the entire WWE Locker room that next week he is requesting any superstar come to the ring and face him one on one. This will prove he is better than all the rest and is a future ECW Champion!
Single Match – Matt Hardy vs. Finlay This was match of the night. These two had a great match. Both men did great. Hardy was a big fan favourite and Finlay already had a ton of people booing him. Finlay dominated the majority with his stiff strikes keeping Hardy down. Matt would fight back as the crowd got behind him but Finlay would suddenly stop all his momentum by taking him back down. In the end of the match John Morrison walked down to the ring and stood at ringside. This distracted Hardy a bit and made him lose focus. Matt tried his best though but when he went for the Twist of Fate Finlay countered by shoving him forward into the ropes. Hardy stopped just before the ropes though as John Morrison had jumped onto the apron. Both men stared each other down for a second before the ref stood in between and got Morrison off the apron. Hardy turned around only to be hit in the head with a Shillelagh by Finlay. Finlay tossed it to the outside and quickly lifted Hardy up as the ref turned around. Finlay set him up and delivered the Celtic Cross in the middle of the ring. 1…2…3! Finlay def. Matt Hardy by pinfall with a Celtic Cross
After the match John Morrison gets into the ring with the ECW Title. He stands over the body of Matt Hardy and holds up the ECW Title high in the air. Morrison puts on a little smile as he just stares down at the Champion as ECW comes to an end!

ECW was fine for what it was. I like the fact that you are making Finlay a heel- he is embarassing as a face. Estrada returning for no reason is realistic, and I hope something comes up of it. Burke & Dykstra make an okay team, but I'd prefer Burke on his own unless another New Breed is coming back. Glad Finlay got the win to solidfy him more as a heel. I thought it was enjoyable for ECW 2008 standards. Please drop a reply to my ECW 2007 when you get a chance.

ECW was a good show. Better than the real life one I would say, lol. Finlay as a heel is great, makes a change from his fluffy Irish daddy gimmick. Evan Bourne defeating Armando Estrada was good, Estrada is just a jobber now but still, glad Bourne picked up the win. I like the fact that Elijah Burke is back on ECW. I'm not sure on an Elijah Burke/Kenny Dykstra teaming but it seems to be going ok so far. The Miz segment was cool, nice idea for an open challenge. Matt Hardy over Finlay was good. The final segment with John Morrison was cool, hopefully, John Morrison gets a hold of the ECW Championship sooner rather than later.
You shows are pretty good and I will be reading more, keep it up.

Wednesday, Week 4, September 2008
Last nights ECW received a 0.21 on Sci Fi. This rating has gone down for the 3rd week in a row. This is not looking good for ECW at all. Although ECW is looked at as a not very important brand the ratings were still expected to be better. WWE could begin to change ECW up a bit in an attempt to get the ratings up or Vince McMahon could just decide to get rid of the whole brand completely.
Morrison could be in a big trouble this week. Some people think Morrison failed a drug test sometime in the past week. WWE have not commented on the situation or suspended Morrison however this could be down to him being in a match at No Mercy. If he has failed it will most likely mean him getting suspended next Monday right after No Mercy.
Finlay is set for a huge push on ECW. Finlay is getting a lot older now and so it looks like this could be his one final run and possibly last championship. Although Matt Hardy is doing well as champion some feel Hardy is more entertaining while chasing after the title then him being chased for it. Expect the Finlay/Hardy feud to really kick off next Tuesday.
Val Venis has returned to WWE after being injured. Venis is expected to move to the ECW brand next week. Some are saying that Venis could be receiving a push in the next month or so. Elijah Burke & Kenny Dykstra apparently may receive a female manager in the next couple of weeks which could lead to Venis somehow getting involved with her and her boys. Currently this is not 100% and no names on the mystery manager has been released but there are a number of divas in FCW just waiting for a call up any day now.
Finally Armando Estrada returned to ECW without any explanation as usual. Armando has been training recently so he can get back in the ring and begin wrestling full time. With people like Burke, Kenny, Bourne, Venis, Miz & Finlay all expecting pushes in the future there will most likely not be room for Armando in this lot. However WWE are expected to make the Tag Team Titles both an ECW & SD brand title in the next few weeks meaning Armando could be finding himself a tag team partner to take on The Canadian Bulldogs.

Smackdown starts up with Jeff Hardy making his way out from the back. Hardy begins speaking on the microphone. He tells the fans that in just 2 days his dream will finally come true. The one thing he has been working for his whole career. Ever since he was born its all lead up to this. This Sunday he will step into the ring with the King of Kings, The Cerebral Assassin, The Game Triple H. Come Sunday Triple H will be one assassinated when he knocks the King off his throne, Game Over.
Triple H interrupts him and walks out. He gets in the ring and stands face to face with the challenger. Triple H says that was a great speech how it’s his dream to become WWE Champion. Well your dream will turn into a nightmare on Sunday. He needs to get his head out of the clouds and stop dreaming because this is reality and in reality nobody can touch him. Jeff has had his chances in the past and failed every single time. Sunday will just be another failed attempt except this time his chances are all up since he is tired of giving him title shots.
Triple H then says since Smackdown is without a General Manager it looks like we are being left to run the place and I feel like giving myself the night off. You however Jeff since you seem all fired up why don’t you have a match tonight. Jeff agrees since his up for anything. Triple H says that tonight in the main event how about we see Jeff Hardy take on Umaga. Triple H begins laughing while Jeff looks a bit unhappy with his match!
Single Match – R-Truth vs. Chavo Guerrero This was an alright match between these two. Chavo got no reaction what so ever. R-Truth however got a big reaction from the crowd. He had all the momentum tonight as he flew over the ring taking down Chavo early on. Later on it slowed down as Chavo took him down to the mat and kept him down. Chavo began working some stiff strikes and rest holds to wear him out. After a while the fans began getting behind R-Truth again giving him some momentum to fight back. R-Truth fought hard and ended up shoving Chavo away. Truth then began taking Chavo down with clothesline and elbows. Chavo blocked a shot and kicked Truth in the midsection. Chavo then went to hit the Gory Bomb but Truth broke out of it. Chavo turned and was met with a kick to the midsection. Truth then hit an Axe Kick to knock Chavo down, 1…2…3! R-Truth def. Chavo Guerrero by pinfall with an Axe Kick
After the match R-Truth got on the microphone. He said over the past few weeks Gregory Helms has been sticking his nose into his business and his had enough of it. He challenges Helms to face him next week on Smackdown one on one. Gregory Helms appears on the titantron and accepts his challenge!
Tag Team Match – WWE Tag Team Titles Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder(C) vs. Canadian Bulldogs This was an ok match. The crowd was bored and just didn’t care. The majority of people used this match as a piss break. The Canadian Bulldogs got the only reactions when they would gain a bit of momentum but then it would all die down again. Hawkins & Ryder used heel tactics to keep one member isolated and made frequent tags. In the end though TJ Wilson fought back and took down Hawkins. Wilson crawled to his corner and finally made the tag to DH Smith as Ryder got tagged in. Smith came running in and cleaned house of the Tag Team Champions. Hawkins came back and went to attack Smith when Wilson came running in and tackled Hawkins to the ground. Ryder got up not knowing fully where he was and turned right into DH Smith. Smith lifted him up onto his shoulder, ran along and planted him with the Running Powerslam. 1…2…3! Canadian Bulldogs def. Hawkins & Ryder by pinfall after a Running Powerslam on Ryder to become the New WWE Tag Team Champions
Tag Team Match – MVP & The Brian Kendrick vs. Carlito & Primo Colon These two teams really tried to impress. Primo Colon came out looking a lot better than he has in recent weeks as did Carlito. Kendrick & MVP had a ton of heat on them and they played to the crowd great. Primo was beaten down a lot during the match as MVP & Kendrick would take turns however he made a lot of comebacks and made quick tags to Carlito to help him. Carlito tried his best to fight of both men but the double teams seemed too much at times. Near the end of the match Shelton Benjamin walked out onto the stage and watched his No Mercy opponents. Kendrick & MVP lost focus a couple of times as he stared at Benjamin but they came back from it. In the end of the match Primo beat down Kendrick with help from Carlito. Carlito then went for the backstabber but Kendrick held onto the ropes forcing Carlito to fall backwards with nobody. MVP then leaned under the ropes and dragged Carlito to the outside. Primo tried to finish off Kendrick but couldn’t do it. Kendrick stopped him and quickly grabbed him by the head. He ran up the turnbuckle and hit The Kendrick in the middle of the ring. Carlito tried crawling in to stop it but was too late. 1…2…3! MVP & The Brian Kendrick def. Carlito & Primo by pinfall after The Kendrick on Primo
After the match Kendrick & MVP celebrate in the ring. They look up to Shelton Benjamin who begins clapping for them. All of a sudden MVP attacks Kendrick from behind. He beats him into the mat. He then lifts him up and hits him with a Drive-By Kick to knock him out. MVP stands over Kendrick and points up at Benjamin as he wants his title back.
Single Match – Vladimir Kozlov vs. Festus This was a good quick match. Kozlov dominated the majority but Festus put up a good fight. As soon as the bell rang he went right at him and tried taking Kozlov apart. Kozlov overpowered him though and was able to take control. In the end of the match Festus tried fighting back as he knocked down Kozlov. Festus ran at Kozlov and attempted a Big Boot but Kozlov suddenly came charging right back at him and rammed his head right into Festus’s chest with the Battering Ram. 1…2…3! Vladimir Kozlov def. Festus by pinfall after a Battering Ram
Single Match – Victoria vs. Gail Kim This was a good back and forth match between these two divas. Victoria got in a really good amount of offense and seemed a real threat to Gail Kim. Kim fought back like an underdog and took down the more experienced Victoria on numerous occasions. Victoria didn’t get a lot of heat during the match but people slowly came around a bit overtime. In the end Gail Kim battled back against Victoria with some hard shots. Kim had all the momentum as she just took down Victoria with ease. Suddenly Natalya Neidhart came walking out from the back and tried to distract Gail Kim. It worked for a second but Victoria grabbed Kim from behind. Kim fought out of the hold and quickly rolled up Victoria in the middle of the ring. 1…2…3! Gail Kim def. Victoria by pinfall with a rollup
Backstage Big Show is seen standing with Umaga. Big Show begins saying that this Sunday at No Mercy he should be facing The Undertaker. That is what Vickie would have wanted and that he isn’t letting Umaga take his place and fail. Umaga began shouting at him in Samoan so nobody could understand but he got his point across. Big Show had enough of this argument as it was going nowhere. Big Show says that he will step aside this once but he will be watching him fail and when he does he will step in and fix everything and put an end to The Undertaker!
Single Match – Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy This was match of the night. It was pretty similar match to the ones they have had on Raw except extended a bit longer. Triple H was at ringside doing commentary during the match and didn’t get involved and Jeff didn’t lose focus at all. Jeff got destroyed for quite a while before coming back every so often. Jeff would hit a couple of moves but then get thrown away again with Umaga’s power. Jeff almost got the match won when he leaped over the top rope and landed hard on Umaga on the outside. The referee counted and got all the way to 9 before Umaga rolled under the bottom rope. Umaga fought back hard though and took control once again. In the end of the match Hardy would dodge the Samoan Wrecking Ball forcing Umaga to run straight into the turnbuckle. Hardy fought back with all his power and speed to take down the Samoan Bulldozer. Jeff hit enzuigiris, sitout jawbreaker, and the Whisper in the Wind. Umaga had finally been taken down and stayed down. Hardy saw his chance as the crowd got on their feet. Jeff climbed up onto the turnbuckle and stared down at Umaga. All of a sudden Triple H stood up and walked to the side of the ring where Hardy was. Jeff turned his head and shouted some abuse at the Champion. Unfortunately this allowed Umaga time to get his breath back. Jeff jumped off the turnbuckle to hit the Swanton Bomb but hit nothing but canvas. Jeff hit hard on the mat but somehow continued moving as he got right back to his feet and held his back in pain. Umaga had gotten to his feet and quickly walked over and delivered the Samoan Spike with ease. Jeff went down as Umaga laid on top, 1…2…3! Umaga def. Jeff Hardy by pinfall with a Samoan Spike
After the match Triple H gets into the ring and stands over the body of Jeff Hardy. Jeff comes to after being knocked out and just stares up at his No Mercy opponent. Triple H says just 2 more days as he holds up the WWE Title to end Smackdown!

R-Truth-Helms sounds good and I hope Truth picks up the win next week. Tag title match was a little too predictable. MVP/Kendrick was an interesting team combo and a win over the Colon brothers was good. I hope you continue to give Kozlov a good push just like in real life. Not sure about having Hardy get pinned just before his PPV title match. No Mercy looks fine, hope to see Orton, HHH, and Santino win their matches. Please drop a reply to ECW 2007 when you get a chance.

This was a very well written out show and some really good stuff however I think some of the booking was a bit off, still good stuff though. The opening segment was a good build towards the No Mercy, but was a bit weird, I mean an interim GM might've worked better than the inmates running it and Triple H just booking matches & Hardy doing nothing about it. Nice to see an R-Truth push and feud with Helms, hopefully Truth goes over and has a run at the US Title. Canadian Bulldogs, boooooo is all. The next tag match was a bit of weird booking, it probably would've made sense for the established team to go over due to midcard/upper midcarders who were feuding to miscommunicate or something and build up the Colons. The main event again was a bit of off booking, I think Hardy should've been made to look stronger, I understand that Umaga needs to look strong too but Hardy's the one who does need to look better for the title match. But there is a possible positive if that Hardy wins the title (and hopefully he does) then Umaga would be in line for a title match, which I hope is where your heading.
Overall it wasn't your best show, but was still very good, you've built your feuds very well & got some good stuff going on, really well written out as well. The No Mercy card looks pretty ace and im sure youll deliver. Keep it up.
