Last nights Smackdown received a 2.47 on My Network TV. This is down from last weeks 2.52 but luckily it wasn't as big of a drop as last weeks was. Smackdown has been receiving more praise lately yet the rating continues to decline. This could just be down to DVR, a bad time for television or maybe people have just had enough of Smackdown.
Big news on wwe.com Jeff Hardy has failed another drug test. He has only received a fine meaning he was caught with marijuana and not steroids or any other substance. This is most likely the reason behind Jeff losing to Umaga on Smackdown and will most likely mean him losing to Triple H on Sunday. This can not look good for Jeff at all this should be his 3rd offense but lucky for him marijuana comes under a different category to other substances meaning it will not count as a 3rd offense. However this could lead to Jeff being de-pushed, suspended or released sometime in the future.
Vladimir Kozlov is set up for his push now and is expected to go after the United States Title starting next week on Smackdown. Of course nobody knows who he will be feuding with just yet but with many people supporting him Kozlov could be champion quite soon.
The Canadian Bulldogs, TJ Wilson & DH Smith, won the WWE Tag Team Titles last night. There is a mixed reaction from people with some in full support of the new team where as some thought they were still too new and would have rather Hawkins & Ryder retain or Primo & Carlito step up. It will most likely be announced next week on wwe.com that the WWE Tag Team Titles will now be defended on both Smackdown and ECW meaning The Canadian Bulldogs could begin a feud with an ECW team in the next few weeks.
Many are saying Victoria will finally be given the chance she deserves. She has been with the company a while now and yet done nothing in the last few years. Many feel it is now her time to come back and become Diva Champion. It seems Victoria could begin feuding with Natalya or Gail Kim as soon as next Smackdown or next month after Cyber Sunday.
Undertakers feud with Umaga & Big Show will most likely turn into a three way soon. Currently nobody knows where it is going but Undertaker is expected to take some time off after Survivor Series until he comes back around Royal Rumble time. Edge will most likely come in straight after he leaves with a modified gimmick somewhat. This will probably lead to Edge vs. Triple H, Umaga or Big Show come December.
Finally a new Smackdown General Manager will be announced either Sunday at No Mercy or next week on Smackdown. Many rumors have been flying about with Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair, Stephanie McMahon, Shawn Michaels and JBL all being considered. Of course these are just rumors. Shawn was suggested since he was Co-GM at the moment maybe he will turn full GM on Smackdown. JBL was considered since he is nearing retirement. Eric was named since some are saying no tv network is liking any of his reality show ideas and so he could be persuaded to come back. While Flair & Stephanie are just random names of two people close to WWE that aren't doing anything but with Flair doing a possible reality show and Stephanie just having her 2nd kid they are not likely to be happening. Either way WWE will be making the announcement very soon.

Sunday, Week 4, September 2008
Triple Threat Match – WWE Intercontinental Championship Santino Marella(C) vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Lance Cade This was a good match between these three. It was mainly between Cade & Kingston since Santino would either be knocked out on the floor or hiding on the outside with Beth Phoenix. Cade and Kofi would go back and forth with each other until Santino came in and took advantage of the situation. This just got them angry though and made it worse for Santino. Cade had enough after a while and chased Santino to the outside where he met up with the Glamazon. Beth got right in his face and even slapped Cade in the face which didn’t go down well. Santino tried using this distraction to attack Kingston but failed. Kofi fought back and hit the Trouble in Paradise. Cade shoved Beth into the steel steps and got into the ring just in time to break up the count. Beth got back to her feet and tried getting into the ring but the referee stopped her. During this time Santino rolled outside and grabbed his Intercontinental Title. He waited by and then ran at Lance Cade to hit him. Cade ducked and instead Santino took Kofi Kingston’s head off. Cade turned him around, and pulled his legs out from under him. Cade then turned him over and locked in the Walls of Jericho. After a moment Santino was forced to tap out! Lance Cade def. Santino & Kingston by submission with the Walls of Jericho to become the new Intercontinental Champion
Single Match – WWE Divas Championship Natalya Neidhart(C) vs. Gail Kim The divas had an ok match. They tried their best and it was some good fighting but the crowd was bored by it. Natalya dominated for quite a while until Kim made a comeback. Natalya luckily had Victoria in her corner as she helped distract Kim a few times. Later on in the match it finally got too much after Victoria pulled Kim’s hair while she was near the ropes. Michelle McCool came running out and tackled Victoria to the ground. Natalya was left alone now as she tossed Kim about. Natalya thought she still had the match won as she tried locking in the Sharpshooter. Kim had other ideas as she kicked Natalya back and into the corner. Kim then got to her feet and ran towards Natalya and hit a clothesline in the corner. Kim then threw Natalya onto the mat and got ready to win until she noticed Victoria & Michelle on the outside. It had turned around and Victoria was beating down on Michelle. Victoria then picked her up and hit the Widow’s Peak on the outside. Kim leaned through the ropes to see if she was ok allowing Natalya to catch her breath. Natalya came from behind and rolled her up but instead of pinning she grabbed her by the legs and locked in the Sharpshooter. Kim fought but it was no use as she tapped out! Natalya def. Gail Kim by submission with a Sharpshooter to retain the Divas Championship
Kane makes his way out from the back carrying his mask with him and gets into the ring. The arena is filled with the red glow as he grabs a microphone and begins talking to the mask once again.
Kane: “You are wrong, I know Mysterio is finished he didn’t appear last week because he couldn’t.” Mask:”……” Kane:”I can prove it right now by calling out Rey Mysterio. He will not show up because he is still screaming and begging for his life. Mysterio I dare you to come out here and prove me wrong.”
Kane waits a second as nothing happens. Kane goes to talk to the mask again when the music of Rey Mysterio begins to play. Kane can’t believe it as he stares up the ramp and listens to the music. After a minute or so of playing Mysterio is nowhere to be seen. The music cuts off and the lights turn back to the red glow as everyone looks around wondering.
Kane:”See I told you there is no Rey Mysterio anymore; I told you he was finished. Now do you believe me?” Mask:”………….” Kane begins getting a headache and shaking his head at the mask. Kane:”No it’s not true. I proved it, he didn’t show up. Why won’t you listen to me? I am telling you Rey Mysterio is in hell!”
Suddenly before the mask can respond Rey Mysterio’s music starts up again. Kane looks up and begins smiling saying he isn’t here when all of a sudden Mysterio shows up through the curtains. Kane’s smile turns upside down as he begins getting very angry. Kane shakes his head saying it’s not real; he isn’t alive as Mysterio walks down the ramp. He seems focused on Kane as he stares up at him. Rey doesn’t enter the ring however and instead walks around over to Lillian Garcia who hands him a microphone.
Rey:”Kane you need to calm down. Look what this mask has done to you ever since you picked it up again. No I was not in hell but I was in serious pain because of that mask. For months you have been acting weird for no reason what so ever and you have hurt people in the process. Kane why masks do not control people do not let your mind go crazy because of it. Kane hand me the mask and I will put this whole situation behind us.”
Rey puts his hand out to take the mask which Kane isn’t so sure about. Kane thinks about it but then takes the mask back and shakes his head. He shouts out that Mysterio is wrong this is helping him. Kane drops the mask and suddenly begins beating down on Mysterio. Rey fights for his life as he tries to avoid him but Kane overpowers him. Kane tosses him across the ring but as he goes to get him Mysterio hits a drop toe hold forcing Kane to hit the turnbuckle. Mysterio then jumps onto the turnbuckle and awaits Kane to stand. Kane rises up as Mysterio jumps off attempting to land and take down Kane. Kane however catches Mysterio by the throat in mid air and slams him down with a huge chokeslam in the middle of the ring. Mysterio is down and out as Kane stands over him. Kane then walks over and picks up his mask again. He shakes his head at Mysterio and then lifts the mask slowly up to his face. Kane puts his mask back on his face and walks away to the back!
Triple Threat Match – WWE United States Championship Shelton Benjamin(C) vs. Montel Vontavious Porter vs. The Brian Kendrick These three had a really good match. They all wrestled well and the fans were really into it. MVP seemed to be in the most control over the other two. Kendrick was quick and avoided fighting when necessary. He would sneak about and attack with quick strikes. Shelton was just in the middle and fought both as they came at him. MVP almost got the win numerous times but Kendrick & Benjamin would just not stay down. Near the end MVP was taken out of the match after he landed hard by the announcers table and banged his head. He seemed to be ok afterwards but it must have shaken him up a bit on impact. In the end Benjamin & Kendrick battled back and forth with each other until Benjamin finally saw an opening and went for it. He ran at Kendrick and tried hitting the Paydirt. Kendrick blocked it and threw Benjamin backwards. Kendrick quickly grabbed Benjamin’s head while he was groggy and tried hitting The Kendrick. He ran up the turnbuckle but Benjamin tossed him off and over the ropes. Somehow Kendrick grabbed the ropes and landed feet first on the apron. Benjamin tried knocking him off but Kendrick hit him back and Benjamin was forced backwards. Kendrick went to climb the turnbuckle when all of a sudden he was shoved off and landed hard on the mat. As the camera looked up Paul London was seen climbing the turnbuckle. He got to the top and then leaped off and flipped forward 450° and landed with a splash on Kendrick’s chest. London quickly fled the ring as Ezekiel Jackson chased after him. Benjamin looked around and quickly went for the pin. MVP was slowly coming around but was too late to crawl into the ring. 1…2…3! Shelton Benjamin def. MVP & Brian Kendrick by pinfall on Kendrick following interference by Paul London to retain the United States Championship
After the match Benjamin went to the back with his belt leaving MVP in the ring. He was kneeling in the ring with an upset look on his face as he stared around the arena. His face then began to turn as it changed to a more serious annoyed look. He then put on a little grin before jumping to his feet and doing the belt around the waist taunt before walking to the back still with a little evil grin on his face!
Single Match – ECW Championship Matt Hardy(C) vs. John Morrison This was another really good match. Morrison did not come out of it looking strong at all really. He seemed weak and didn’t have control over Hardy that often. The match still turned out good though and Hardy did a good job. Finlay showed up during the match but did nothing and left near the end. Morrison did not have Miz in his corner so he tried anything to take advantage of Hardy. This match didn’t go really long but it went long enough without getting boring. Morrison went for his corkscrew neckbreaker, The Moonlight Drive, however Hardy blocked it and Morrison flipped over onto his back for nothing. Hardy then got him up and kicked him in the midsection followed by the Twist of Fate, 1…2…3! Matt Hardy def. John Morrison by pinfall with a Twist of Fate to retain the ECW Championship
Tag Team Ladder Match – World Tag Team Championships Simply Priceless(C) vs. Cryme Tyme This was not a good match at all. Both teams tried their best but the crowd didn’t care and it didn’t come off well. Simply Priceless did really good but Cryme Tyme seemed off their game a bit. It was basically a back and forth match with a few ladder spots. It didn’t turn out to be an epic ladder match with some amazing stunts and was left pretty basic with some old ladder moves we have seen in the past. Joe Hennig came out to help midway through. He got into the ring and attacked JTG & Shad but they overpowered him and tossed him out of the ring. In the end Ted & Cody both took down Cryme Tyme in the ring as they both began to climb the ladder. They had almost grabbed the belts when Hennig came in again. He leaped off the turnbuckle at Shad who was getting to his feet and hit a diving dropkick. Shad got knocked back and fell right against the ladder forcing it to fall over. It fell over to the side of the ring forcing Cody & Ted to fly off. They landed hard on the outside through four tables set up on top of each other. They went crashing through them and were out of it. JTG got to his feet as did Shad and they made quick work of Joe Hennig before setting up the ladder again and climbing up. They both then reached up and pulled down the World Tag Team Championship! Cryme Tyme def. Simply Priceless when they retrieved the belts to become the New World Tag Team Champions
Single Match – Umaga vs. The Undertaker For two big men these two had a great match. They went back and forth with Umaga overpowering Undertaker a couple of times and catching him off guard while Undertaker would come back fighting like it was nothing a few times. Both men hit with some stiff shots on each other. Undertaker moved a little slow but kept up with Umaga who began getting very fast paced as the match went along. Near the end Undertaker went up on the ropes for some Old School but Umaga fought it. He pulled Undertaker off the ropes and while in midair Umaga quickly poked his thumb into The Undertaker with the Samoan Spike. Both men went down as the ref started his count. Umaga moved about after a second or two and went to pin Undertaker until he suddenly sat up and stared over at Umaga. Both men got to their feet and exchanged right hands until Undertaker took the control. Undertaker began dominating as he beat down on Umaga. He then delivered a big boot to take down the Samoan Bulldozer. The Deadman waited for Umaga to stand as he got his hand ready for the Chokeslam. All of a sudden The Big Show came sliding into the ring. He punched Undertaker in the head which knocked him back and almost off his feet. He then grabbed him by the throat and delivered a Chokeslam in the middle of the ring forcing the referee to end the match! Umaga vs. The Undertaker ended in a No Contest following interference from The Big Show
After the bell had rung Umaga got to his feet and began shouting Samoan at Big Show. Big Show had enough as he began fighting with Umaga as the two went at it. After only a few moments of fighting though the lights in the arena turned off leaving the whole place in darkness. As the lights come back on moments later The Undertaker has disappeared from the ring leaving Umaga & Big Show alone and confused. Umaga gets distracted by this for a second allowing Big Show to grab him by the throat and delivering a Chokeslam on the big Samoan. Big Show then leaves the ring with Umaga laid out!
Single Match – WWE Women’s Championship Beth Phoenix(C) vs. Mickie James This was a good womens match. The crowd was more into this one than the diva one earlier. Beth had Santino in her corner but he was more focused on the fans at ringside who were shouting abuse at him. Santino would begin reacting shocked at things they said to him and would begin saying messed up insults back that made no sense. Beth used her power to throw Mickie about but Mickie would come back strong for a fight. Near the end Santino tried getting involved to help Beth by distracting the referee and then throwing Beth the Womens Title. However his distracting didn’t quite work which meant Santino threw the belt to Beth right in front of his face. Beth threw the belt away like she had no part of it and it was Santino so he let it go this time but told Santino to back off. Beth agreed and told Santino to stay away from the match. Mickie tried to attack Beth and hit the Mickie-DT but Beth blocked it and hit the Glam Slam in the middle of the ring, 1…2…3! Beth Phoenix def. Mickie James by pinfall with a Glam Slam to retain the Women’s Championship
Lance Cade is walking around backstage with his Intercontinental Championship and a bottle of champagne in his hand. Cade is celebrating his win when Shawn Michaels steps forward. Shawn congratulates him on his win and states that now that is champion he will have to be a fighting champion. So tomorrow night on RAW he will make his first title defense. It will be Lance Cade defending the Intercontinental Championship against William Regal.
He is about to go on when suddenly Chris Jericho walks up from behind him and slaps him on the back. Cade begins to get excited that his mentor is back but Shawn isn’t too pleased. Jericho says congrats to Cade before telling him to leave. He then turns to Shawn and says politely hello. Shawn says that Jericho is looking better could mean his ready for a match. Jericho interrupts saying that he isn’t quite 100% you know his about 98, 99%. No instead he came here tonight to talk to the General Manager, the real General Manager. He says Shawn is just trying to steal the spotlight again. He had his emotional speech on Raw about him retiring but he knows deep down inside that he won’t stay away, he can’t stay away. It’s just a matter of time before he will step into that ring again and compete and when he does he had better be careful. Jericho tells him he is off to see Mike Adamle and that he shall see him tomorrow on Raw before walking off leaving Michaels to think about it all!
Single Match – WWE Championship Triple H(C) vs. Jeff Hardy This was a really good match. Jeff tried everything to win. He hit every move including the Swanton Bomb but Triple H wouldn’t quit. Jeff wouldn’t quit either and even kicked out of a Pedigree during the match. Triple H did seem to destroy Hardy throughout until Hardy got these quick momentum bursts and took down Triple H. Near the end though Hardy didn’t know what to do, he had tried everything. He hit the Twist of Fate on Triple H and then went outside. He went under the ring and pulled out a huge ladder much bigger than a regular size. He stood it up at ringside next to the announcers table and then got into the ring and dragged Triple H out. He hit Triple H a few times before laying him on his back across the announcers table. He slowly climbed the ladder still in pain which forced him to stop a few times. Once at the top he took off his shirt and threw it into the crowd before doing his usual Team Extreme taunt. Hardy then leaped off and went for the Swanton Bomb. Jeff fell like a rocket coming down from space however he met nothing but table. Right at the last second Triple H rolled to the side forcing Hardy to crash and burn as he went straight down and threw the announcers table. A holy **** chant erupted around the arena as both men lay out. Triple H was the only person to move as Hardy was still laid out and didn’t even move once. Triple H lifted him to his feet and rolled him into the ring. He lifted Hardy up and although it wasn’t needed he shouted Game Over in his face before standing up by himself. Jeff was still out of it and so he was near on falling over so Triple H made it quick as he let go of him. He quickly did the suck it crotch chop before kicking Hardy in the midsection and delivering a devastating Pedigree. 1…2…3! Triple H def. Jeff Hardy by pinfall with a Pedigree to retain the WWE Championship
Backstage Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, & Joe Hennig are standing by. Cody & Ted are arguing with Joe about how they lost. Randy Orton interrupts the argument and says that Joe isn’t the only one in their little group that is useless, they all are. Tonight just proved how much they need to learn. If they are serious about being here then they need to do something big, something that can change the WWE, something that will get the fans to notice them, something that will get the McMahons to notice them. Until then they are just Simply Pathetic!
Single Match – World Heavyweight Championship CM Punk(C) vs. Randy Orton This was a really great match and match of the night. Punk & Orton have great chemistry together. The match was back and forth and neither man took a clear advantage during it. It was also given a lot of time one of the longest matches in recent memory. Near the end both men were trying anything to get the win they were so beaten up and hurt yet they wouldn’t stay down. Punk seemed a real threat to Orton to take him through this long match and get numerous near falls. Punk even hit the Go 2 Sleep but Orton put his foot on the bottom rope at the last second. Finally in the end Orton went for the RKO but Punk blocked it and lifted up Orton for the Go 2 Sleep again. Suddenly from the back came Simply Perfect & Priceless. All three men ran down to the ring as Punk dropped Orton and ran over to them. Punk kicked Hennig off the apron and punched Cody Rhodes off. Ted DiBiase was being held back by the referee who stopped him from getting in the ring. He finally gave up and walked over to his team mates to check on them. Punk stopped looking at them and turned back to Orton who suddenly struck out of nowhere in a split second, the RKO. 1…2…3! Randy Orton def. CM Punk by pinfall with an RKO to become the new World Heavyweight Champion

Monday, Week 1, October 2008
The big news story today after last nights No Mercy PPV is the release of Dave Batista. This comes as a big shock considering his such a big name guy in WWE however it has been reported his contract was coming to an end very soon. Apparently WWE had offered him everything but the kitchen sink and he just wouldn't take it. He was given way more then he deserves and he apparently just refused to sign a new contract. After a while WWE had nothing left to bargain with and have now been forced to let him go. There is always the possibility Batista could go to TNA however they will most likely have a very hard time giving him the demands he wants. He also has a 60 day no compete clause meaning whatever he does next won't be happening for a while yet. We shall have more on this story if it becomes available.
Last nights No Mercy turned out to be a success and has received praise from many. The official buy rate has been announced as 10.02 much better then what Unforgiven got which is good news for the company.
Randy Orton became the new World Heavyweight Champion last night. He is seen as the #1 guy on Raw long with John Cena when he returns. WWE are backing him all the way and are hoping to make him a huge star. This could mean Orton is getting ready for long title reign coming up. Punk is expected to switch in and out of the title picture from now on. He wont be fully in it and wanting a bunch of title matches but he will show up every now and then and want his name on the contenders list.
Jericho is back at full health and will be continuing his storyline with Shawn Michaels but in bits at a time. They wont be going at it just yet or anything but the two will confront each other a few times over the next few weeks while Jericho possibly goes after the World Heavyweight Championship.
Kane is now back with his mask on. This is the final step before his huge push comes along. Kane & Mysterio will most likely continue a bit longer till about Survivor Series where Kane will slowly drift out and move on to the World Title. Mysterio could become a midcarder soon after that leading to a feud with Lance Cade.
On Smackdown side of things of course everyone knows about Jeff Hardy getting fined last week for marijuana which also cost him any chance of becoming WWE Champion again. This could be the last time we see Jeff in the main event at least for a while. Currently no word on who is stepping up to take on the Champion but one name floating about is MVP.
Paul London is now apart of the Smackdown brand and will begin feuding with his old tag team partner Brian Kendrick. This should be the feud to launch both men to be serious threats for US & WWE Titles. Currently Kendrick is seen as the one with more potential and will go further but with London being seen more regularly this could change.
Also the General Manager announcement for Smackdown is now expected to be held off until after Cyber Sunday. Reasoning will apparently be explained in some way on either tonight or next weeks Raw.
Finally some TNA news. Kevin Nash, Christian Cage, Awesome Kong, & Team 3D have all left the company. Their contracts were ending and they decided they were finished with TNA. Currently there seems to be no interest by WWE in any one of them to join the company however this of course could change somewhere down the line. The most likely one to sign if they did would be either Christian or Kevin Nash. Edge has been wanting WWE to resign Christian for a while now and with him being a big part of the company he could get his wish granted. Also Shawn Michaels has been wanting Kevin Nash signed which again since he does have a bit more say in the company WWE could listen plus Triple H will always back him up 100% meaning Nash could be very high on the list of new signings.

No Mercy was a good show star.
Nice way to open the show with the IC Title match, I'm not that high on Cade but it'll be interesting to see where you take it, I'm split on Cade using the Walls of Jericho as well and think I'd rather him just use his own move. Kim/Natalya is a good match-up the match sounded pretty good and it was nice seeing Natalya retain, although I look forward to seeing where you go with Kim after the clean loss.
The Kane/Mysterio segment was a very well written out segment, glad Kane has the mask back. The Triple Threat sounded good, although I may of missed it but all 3 are heels in this diary aren't they, so I don't know that would've taken away a bit. But anyway I like all 3 and would've been happy either way here. I liked Benjamin taking advantage and hopefully Paul London loses to Kendrick & Zeke. The MVP part at the end made me laugh, wonder if anything will come of it. The ECW Title match seemed a bit filler really, though I look forward to seeing what's next for both men. Liked the tag team ladder match although it is a bit odd for those teams to be in a ladder match. Really glad Cryme Tyme won the tag titles and hopefully they have a long reign.
Umaga and The Undertaker sounded like they had a good match, I liked Show going nuts on both men and I really hope you consider giving him a world title push and feud with HHH. Beth/Mickie sounded like a good match, liked Santino's role as well. I wonder where you head though after another clean Beth win.
Triple H/Jeff sounded awesome, that table spot sounded very Hardy and the match was written out very well as a whole. Good stuff and I look forward to who steps up next.
The Orton, Priceless segment was well written out and I got a giggle out of Simply Pathetic. Punk/Orton sounded good even though Orton is my least favorite guy ever that won't take away from it. It'll be interesting to see where you head from here.
Overall good show although if I may say one thing there was far too much interference in matches throughout the night for my liking.
Anyway I disagree with the release of Batista, I think if your doing a diary of a set period then you pretty much have to work with the main eventers for a while, you tried to explain it but I'm just not feeling the release and Batista is the type of guy who I think would be written out storyline wise. So I feel that just took a major step back from a good show. But anyway keep it up.

The opening contest was a decent way to kick off No Mercy and I am actually pretty happy about Lance Cade being Intercontinental Champion, hope he has a good reign, hopefully ending before Royal Rumble though. Natalya getting the win was pretty original and unexpected, a good wya to put her over considering that Gail Kim is a great performer. Victoria's interference only made it sweeter in my opinion. The segment with Kane was very interesting to say the least, but it simply reminds me of Al Snow and Head. I also feel that two triple threat matches on a pay-per-view card is overdose, but people may disagree. Seemed like a decent idea to have Shelton Benjamin successfully retain the title, hopefully The Brian Kendrick could grow to become United States Champion by the time 2008 turns to 2009. Matt Hardy and John Morrison's match seemed good, but lacked the writing style that the other matches had. I originally thought it was a squash, in addition. Hope Morrison wins if he gets another shot. The ladder match in my opinion was slightly unnecessary, could of been better placed on RAW or at Survivor Series, this match in my opinion was craped. Umaga and Undertaker ending in no contest was slightly disappointing, but at least it could lead to a rematch at Cyber Sunday, Taker vs. either Show or Umaga. Once again, I feel this card could of made the Womens Championship match unnecessary, should of been given more room, also reminds me that I suggest not putting ALL of a large amount of titles on the card. Good little segment between matches, too, should of involved alot more though. Triple H beating Jeff Hardy is predictable, especially after Hardy failing the drug test. Keep him in the mid-card line-up. Orton beating Punk was predictable, just don't keep his reign long, especially after his boring title reign [opinion speaking here] last year up until June. Batista shouldn't of been released, only let go after his contract expired. It's pretty simple, it's also easy to get the constructive criticism off of you for doing such an unrealistic move. Just remove mentions of Batista's sacking and mention in Wrestling Observer after his contract has expired. Re-hire Christian but be realistic and keep him as a mid-carder, US Champion material. Nash would be okay in a non-wrestling role too.

Why would WWE release one of their top stars? Why leave a crap reply? No Mercy had a big write up, besides the Morrison/Punk match but even that match was good. Opening match was alright, I guess a triple threat was the only way to get the Intercontinental Championship from one heel to another, happy to see Lance Cade geting the title. Next match would be fantastic to see. Somewhat sad that Gail Kim didn't get the Championship but being a fan of both woman, I was happy either way. Here's to a rematch in the future though. Kane promo was fantastic, I got really in to it. Really happy to see the mask back on Kane, is it the full mask or the 2002 one with the mouth bit taken off? Either way, I expect Kane to get a main event push because of this with a decent World title run. US title match was alright, shame all three guys were heels though. Maybe a fatal four way with R-Truth could of happen just so a face could of been in the match. Either way, you got the main story out of the match with Paul London showing up and attacking The Brian Kendrick. Somewhat laughed at London running away from Jackson, but to be honest, I always laugh in real life when someone fleds from the ring. The ECW World Championship match always seems less important on Pay-Per-View cards in real life so I can understand the lacking of a write up you gave this match. Happy Hardy retained the title but I hope that Morrison is the next ECW World Champion. Even though I had this match in my backstory at Cyber Sunday, which I believe makes more sense that having it at No Mercy, I am happy to finally see the World Tag Titles on JTG and Shad. Shame the match wasn't all that good but at least there are new champions. Glad someone finally did the Umaga vs Undertaker match. Happy that it was a great match and that everything played out well. Liked the no contest ending because of Big Show and even though it makes sense for Big Show to be standing tall at the end, I'm somewhat sad to see Umaga get laid out. Beth Phoenix vs Mickie James always put on great matches so I am sure this was no different. I understand why you had Beth go over in the end, because of in game issues and I'm looking forward to the angle you have planned. Yay to Jericho's return. Laughed at Cade being really happy to see his "Leader" return. Shawn/Jericho segment was great to read, liking Shawn as Co-GM but I can see him competing from time to time if not back to a full time basis. The Triple H vs Jeff Hardy matches have been entertaining me so I liked this match. I always got excited when it looked like Jeff was going to win the WWE Championship but I didn't expect him to win this match. The finish was good and I can see Triple H holding on to the title for a little bit longer. Randy Orton segement with the second/third generation superstars was good, laughed at the Simpily Pethetic remark from Orton, Can't wait till these guys are actually a stable. New Champion! New Champion! I somewhat wish Punk had a longer reign with the World Heavyweight Championship but I understand why Randy got the three count. Can see CM Punk being a strong contender going in to the Royal Rumble to be honest. Nice to see the Hennig/Rhodes/DiBiase interference during the match, I wonder how Orton will treat it on Raw. On a different note, I myself am not a fan of the releasing of Batsta on the fact that he's one of their star players but on the other hand I know you have no controll over things like that when using TEW. I hope because of his leaving you make a new star for Raw.

Sucks to see Santino lose the title but oh well. I think Kofi should've lost it and then Santino went on a comedy tirade about how he didn't get beat. Natalya-Gail is fine, but a little unrealistic for the Divas Title. The Shelton match seemed great, and I am glad that Shelton won. Thankfully Morrison lost as I do not like him. Ladder match seemed interesting, and interesting to see CT win gold. Good call on not having Taker or Umaga lose so they both look strong. Another divas match was fine as it was a good one but they have fought so many times. It's good Hardy didn't win- I couldn't imagine if he was world champ. Great call on RKO winning the title. If he has a faction, he should have the belt. I liked the layout and the color coding, I just feel like 9 matches were too many. But great job, keep it up. Please drop a reply to ECW 2007 when you get a chance.

Just going to clear a few things up.
With Batista in the game he actually refused everything I offered him. I have no idea why whether it was a bug or maybe the mod maker just made him a ****. However it happened and there was nothing I could do without going into the editor and cheating which I didn't want to do. I admit I messed up when saying I released him but I wasn't thinking plus WWE would mention it in someway on their website and the only way I can see them saying it is him being released. I guess I should have said his contract ended but oh well.
Shelton Benjamin was the good guy int he triple threat match. I had him have a slow turn the last month. It wasn't a really clear turn but he was acting nicer then the other two.
With Mickie & John Morrison they failed drug tests earlier in the week. Mickie got done for Marijuana and Morrison got done for steroids. Quite annoying three people busted who were getting ready for major pushes but that's TEW for you.
Finally since 9 matches aren't too popular expect to see a lot more pointless angles in the shows. Either that or some lower card matches will end up a lot longer.
Ill get all your replies done soon hopefully.

No Mercy was a solid show man, and this diary is really solid. I really liked that Cade won the Intercontinental championship, and I'm hoping that this is going to lead to a solid push for him that eventually leads to the main event.
I wasn't overly fussed on who won the Diva's championship, since I would have been happy with either one, but I really hope that Victoria gets her shot at the gold soon, and a Victoria/ Natayla title match would be pretty cool.
I was pulling for Kendrick to pick up the title, but a solid London/ Kendrick feud is a great idea, and hopefully will push both to the upper card. I'm also glad that Matt retained the ECW title, since I think it's time Morrison got moved to either RAW or SmackDown.
I'm not so sure on Cryme Time taking the titles from Simply Priceless, since I was hoping for an epic reign from the young guns, plus I just don't think I would get into a ladder match between the two teams.
Good to see Show getting involved since it really allows for a big feud between Taker, Umaga and Show, which could provide some interesting big man style matches. I wasn't expecting a win for Jeff, but I was hoping you would give him the shock win. Triple H really needs to have some new challengers, and am hoping you give a new guy a chance at the title.
Orton winning the World title is awesome, and I really hope that this means a lengthy title reign for him, and another match between Orton and Punk. I'm also looking forward to seeing who takes Batista's place in the main event scene, since it provides you with a chance to build up a new challenger.

Monday, Week 1, October 2008
Raw opened up with Randy Orton coming out from the back. Orton had his new World Heavyweight Title on his shoulder as he got on the microphone. Orton said how he proved Punk was just a fluke and now starting tonight the Age of Orton continues. Orton says that now that Punk is over with his looking for his next challenger to beat. With Cyber Sunday just four weeks away he needs someone to step up. CM Punk interrupts him and comes out.
Punk tells Orton he is not the true World Champion. If it wasn’t for Simply Pathetic he would be standing here the champion. Punk says he isn’t going to let it go and he wants his rematch. Orton speaks up and says he beat him fair and square just because he is upset doesn’t mean he gets a rematch. His already looked at Punks contract and it doesn’t have a rematch clause meaning if he wants another chance he will have to actually earn it this time like everyone else. Orton is stopped again and this time by Chris Jericho.
Jericho gets in the ring and says he will get to them two in a minute. He shouts out Mike Adamle. He says Mike Adamle is a coward, he is afraid of everything and everyone. Last night he went to meet the so called General Manager but it turns out Adamle is now just HBK’s bitch. He says Adamle had no backbone he wouldn’t even speak to him face to face. Jericho says HBK has tainted Raw and taken it over. Jericho says that this must end with HBK and Mike Adamle being fired. He then goes on to say that Orton doesn’t need to look any further for his challenger since its clear Jericho has earned it and deserves to face Orton at Cyber Sunday.
Shane McMahon pops up on the titantron screen standing in some office. Shane tells Jericho that firstly Mike Adamle and Shawn Michaels will be dealt with accordingly if their actions prove to be unsatisfactory. He has spoken with JBL about this very situation and has agreed to be at Raw next week and meet with JBL & Jericho to get their opinions and announces that it will all be cleared up come the Raw after Cyber Sunday. Until then he assures Jericho that Shawn Michaels has not taken over and that him and Mike Adamle have a joint say in everything but in the end Shane has the final say on all decisions. Now onto the World Heavyweight Championship, he has decided to take this matter clear away from the GMs and he will make the whole decision on who the No.1 Contender is by himself. However at this moment in time a decision has not been made. He says it will be fair and include only those who earn the right to be in it. Shane says he will announce the main event when he appears next week on Raw. Until then the main event for tonight has been decided by Shawn Michaels & Mike Adamle as CM Punk teaming with Rey Mysterio to take on Chris Jericho and JBL!
Single Match – Paul Burchill vs. Kofi Kingston This was an ok match. Both men tried their best but the fans weren’t that interested in these two. Burchill dominated early on using his power to overcome the Jamaican superstar. Burchill kept him grounded to stop him using his speed and agility to fly all over the ring. It worked for a while until halfway through the match Kingston broke free of Burchill’s grasp and began fighting back. He used kicks and everything to stop Burchill. In the end of the match Burchill fought back and threw Kofi about. He then grabbed him with his right arm going across his chest. He was about to do something when Kofi elbowed him away. Kofi quickly went for the Trouble in Paradise on the groggy Burchill but he ducked. Kofi missed him and landed face first on the mat. Burchill quickly grabbed him before he got up and pulled his arms up behind him which pulled his upper body off the mat slightly. Burchill then put his foot on Kingston’s head and delivered a devastating Curb Stomp. 1…2…3! Paul Burchill def. Kofi Kingston by pinfall with a Curb Stomp
Backstage Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes are still arguing with Joe Hennig about their loss to Cryme Tyme. Suddenly Randy Orton appears from out of the shadows. Orton tells them that last night that did help make an impact; they changed Raw for the better and helped the Age of Orton return. In return he has helped them out by getting Adamle & Michaels to give them a rematch with Cryme Tyme up next. Ted & Cody seem happy until Orton says that this time it will be Cody & Joe Hennig going after the belts. Ted doesn’t look happy about being left out as he steps up to Orton. Randy says he can calm down because he has done him a favor. Randy says he got the Lance Cade vs. William Regal match changed so now Regal will face Ted DiBiase with the winner getting either a Tag Team Title shot or an Intercontinental Title shot. Orton says that they have proved to him they aren’t pathetic but they still need work and tonight is their chance to get it done and get the respect they deserve. Orton walks away leaving Simply Perfect & Priceless a bit confused, sad and happy all at once!
Tag Team Match – World Tag Team Championships Cryme Tyme(C) vs. Simply Perfect & Priceless(Cody Rhodes/Joe Hennig) This was another ok match. All four did alright with Joe Hennig still learning. The match was evenly matched the whole way through and went back and forth between them. Neither team could take a clear advantage. Cody came close as he began using his thumb to poke JTG & Shad in the eye but it only worked for a limited time. In the end of the match Hennig was tagged in as he cleared the ring of Shad and went to finish off JTG with the Perfect Plex. Joe got cocky though after he hit one Perfect Plex he stopped the count and decided to do another one. He lifted JTG up when suddenly Paul Burchill showed up and ran down to the ring. He got on the apron and distracted the referee. Shad suddenly got in the ring and hit a big boot to the face of Joe Hennig and quickly put JTG on top before fleeing the ring. Burchill jumped down and left the area as the ref counted for JTG. 1…2…3! Cryme Tyme def. Simply Perfect & Priceless by pinfall to retain the World Tag Team Championships
Single Match – Jillian Hall vs. Kelly Kelly It was announced the winner of this would meet the winner of the next diva match to crown a No.1 Contender to face Beth Phoenix. This match was good mainly because it was kept short and sweet. Jillian dominated for a minute before Kelly began making a comeback. Jillian had no chance as Kelly was full of momentum. She then kicked Jillian in the head and rolled her up from behind. 1…2…3! Kelly Kelly def. Jillian Hall by pinfall with a rollup
Single Match – Jamie Noble vs. Kane This was just a squash. Noble had a few punches and kicks on Kane but they did nothing. This new Kane with his old mask on didn’t move about much he mainly stood around waiting for Noble to attack him so Kane could beat him down and then wait for him to get up again. None of Noble’s shots affected him though and he was wasting his time getting up from the mat. Finally Kane had enough as he lifted him up from the mat by the throat. He then lifted him into the air and slammed him down into the mat with a Chokeslam. 1…2…3! Kane def. Jamie Noble by pinfall with a Chokeslam
After the match Rey Mysterio showed up and ran to the ring. Mysterio leaped at Kane and tried to beat him up but it was no use, Kane was too strong. Kane just shoved him down onto the mat and then kicked him in the face with a Big Boot. He then lifted Rey up and threw him over the ropes to the outside and left to the back!
Single Match – Katie Lea Burchill vs. Mickie James This was a good match. Longer then the last diva match but still kept short. The winner of this will be facing Kelly Kelly next week for a Women’s Title shot. Both divas were determined to get that shot. Both tried everything but nothing could keep the other down. Mickie finally went for the Mickie-DT but Katie Lea broke free and stood behind her. She then grabbed her by the hair and pulled her down. Katie pulled Mickie back first onto her knee with a backbreaker. Katie quickly got on top for the cover, 1…2…3! Katie Lea Burchill def. Mickie James by pinfall with a Hair Pull Backbreaker
Single Match – William Regal vs. Ted DiBiase Before the match Regal said that tonight was their first night on their journey to the top and that Katie would soon be Women’s Champion and Burchill and Regal would soon be Tag Team Champions. This was a good match. Both men did really well. It was evenly matched with both men using heel tactics on each other to take advantage. During the match Paul Burchill & Katie Lea tried getting involved by attacking Ted DiBiase on the outside but the ref stopped them just before. The referee then sent the Burchill siblings to the back to stop their interference. During this Cody Rhodes jumped into the ring and attacked Regal. He then went outside to help Ted DiBiase which the referee didn’t like. He sent Cody Rhodes packing to the back as well leaving Ted & Regal by themselves. They went back and forth together a while longer until the end. Joe Hennig, who was missing before this, came running out and stood at ringside. Ted & Regal continued until Ted got knocked down. Regal went into the corner and tried putting some Brass Knuckles on without the referee seeing but the ref caught him just as he went to put them on. The Regal talked his way out of getting disqualified as the referee took the Brass Knuckles and went to put them away. Regal then took out a 2nd pair from his trunks but again couldn’t use them as Joe Hennig came running in and grabbed Regal. He quickly delivered a Perfect Plex and fled the ring as quick as possible. Ted DiBiase slowly came around as he rolled over onto Regal, 1…2…3! Ted DiBiase def. William Regal following interference from Joe Hennig
Backstage Lance Cade catches up with Jericho who is walking to the ring for his match. Cade says that now he has to defend the belt next week against Ted DiBiase. He asks Jericho what to do which Jericho isn’t in the mood for. Jericho tells Cade that needs to stop. This is his problem and he can deal with it. He needs to forget about being Chris Jericho and focus on being Lance Cade. He thanks him for his support while he was away but his had enough of seeing him try to be Chris Jericho. There is only one Chris Jericho and he is the next World Heavyweight Champion. He is not Lance Cade’s dad and he will no longer have him following him around like a puppy. Jericho walks off for his mach leaving Cade to think about what he said!
Tag Team Match – CM Punk & Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho & JBL This was a great match, match of the night. All four men had a ton of fight in them and went all out. Jericho & JBL took control early on using JBL’s power to overcome Mysterio and keep him away from Punk. Jericho tried staying out of the match but came in when it suited him and he felt like he could act cocky and knock down Mysterio. Jericho mocked Punk a lot which led to Mysterio getting the tag to Punk. Punk came flying in and took down Jericho & JBL. Punk took both men out until Randy Orton showed up on the stage and stood watching the match. JBL then ran in and knocked Punk down. Mysterio came into help and tried his best which was enough for Punk to get to his feet. This led to Jericho coming in and taking himself and Punk over the ropes with a clothesline. The two continued fighting on the outside while JBL & Mysterio exchanged right hands inside. Suddenly Kane showed up and came walking down and into the ring. He took down both JBL and Mysterio causing the referee to lose control and end the match! This ended in a No contest when the referee lost control
After the match Kane begins beating down on Mysterio with stiff shots. Mysterio takes a real punishment before being lifted up and Chokeslammed him on to the mat. JBL tried to hit a Clothesline from Hell on Kane but it was no use as Kane grabbed him by the throat and delivered a Chokeslam on him. Suddenly Randy Orton jumped on the apron and stared at Kane. The two stared eye to eye for a second before Kane left the ring leaving Orton to it. Jericho rolled into the ring and began yelling at Orton like they had an agreement. Orton smiles when suddenly Jericho is swung around by CM Punk. Punk lifts Jericho onto his shoulders and delivers a Go to Sleep. Straight after the shot, CM Punk is struck lightning fast with an RKO in the middle of the ring. Randy Orton stands tall over Mysterio, JBL, Jericho, and Punk as he holds the World Heavyweight Title above his head to end Raw!

Saturday, Week 4, September 2008
Last nights Raw recieved a 3.33 rating on the USA Network. This was quite a drop from 3.77 last week however it is still an alright rating. To be quite honest WWE are hoping it was just one bad rating and next weeks will be better.
The voting for Cyber Sunday has been released. Basically anyone on WFigs forum will be eligible to vote. All they have to do is PM Jason Star with their votes at any time, 1 vote per username.
Expect the main event of Cyber Sunday to feature a vote for Randy Orton's opponent. Currently the selections have not been relased but this years could be quite a few compared to the usual three choices in past years.
Kane and Rey Mysterio is expected to face off again with the fans choosing the stipulation. Either this or they may be contenders for the main event. This will not be the end of the feud as it is expected to go until Armageddon.
Everyone has been trying to find out what Shane will do with the GM situation in a months time but nobody has a clue. The only bit of information that's been released is that Mike Adamle is expected to be fired. Whether this means HBK takes over as full GM or if there's a new GM is yet to be known.
Ted DiBiase will most likely be the midcard singles star in Simply Perfect & Priceless now leaving Cody & Joe Hennig as the tag team. He is not likely to receive a huge push but he could win a title belt very soon.
Katie Lea vs. Beth Phonix is rumored to be the Womens match at Cyber Sunday with the fans choosing either what they wear which was suggested by Vince McMahon however it doesn't fit the match so it will probably be match stipulation.

Tuesday, Week 1, October 2008
ECW opens up with the ECW Champion Matt Hardy coming out. Hardy gets in the ring and grabs a microphone. Hardy begins talking about his successful title defense against John Morrison last week at No Mercy. He said Morrison gave it his best but as he has been saying for the past month the only way to take his title is to kill him but Matt Hardy will not die. He said he would hold onto the ECW Title for a long time to come and there was nobody that could take it from him.
Hardy is interrupted by the fighting Irishman, Finlay. Finlay comes out and tells Hardy that he may have got past Morrison but there is no way he has enough fight to take down the Irishman. Finlay challenges him for the ECW Championship at Cyber Sunday. Matt Hardy thinks about it and then goes to accept until Teddy Long stops him. Long comes out saying that he is making the decisions here and not them. He says he has come to a decision on who will face Hardy at Cyber Sunday. In four weeks it will be Matt Hardy defending the ECW Championship against an opponent of the fans choosing. The fans can go to wwe.com and vote on which opponent they want to face Hardy out of Tommy Dreamer, Finlay, and the returning Mark Henry. However tonight will be tag team action with Matt Hardy teaming with Tommy Dreamer to take on Finlay and Mark Henry.
Single Match – Mike Knox vs. Evan Bourne This was an ok match but was kept quite short. Knox threw Bourne around the ring like a doll in the beginning. After a few minutes though Bourne fought back with his speed as he dodged anything Knox tried. Bourne then used a few kicks to stop Knox and take him down. Knox tried coming back but as he lifted Bourne into the air he was caught off guard and taken over with a Hurricarana. Bourne then went up top on the turnbuckle. He faced Knox and then leaped off with a picture perfect Shooting Star Press, 1…2…3! Evan Bourne def. Mike Knox by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press
The Miz came out and said that he is appalled that Long would not add him to the Cyber Sunday match. He is the one drawing in all the viewers. All the ladies and in fact even certain types of guys are watching ECW for him since he is the Chick Magnet. Nobody gets that sort of attention but him.
Miz is suddenly interrupted by the returning Val Venis who is now appearing on ECW. Venis comes out wrapped in his signature towel. He gets in the ring and tells Miz that he is not impressed. He says that Miz is nowhere near a Chick Magnet, all the ladies are just waiting for their dose of the Big Valbowski. Venis looks over to the crowd at ringside and stares a nice looking 20 year old in the front row. While his attention is being taken away Miz quickly attacks him from behind starting up the next match!
Single Match – Val Venis vs. The Miz This was a good match. Venis had a ton of support and seemed to have no ring rust despite being out from injury for a little while now. Venis seemed to be teaching Miz a bit of a lesson as he would go one better then the Miz each time. Miz got inpatient a lot when things didn’t go his way and he would end up wasting time arguing with the referee allowing Val Venis to get his breath back. In the end of the match Miz was in full control as he beat down on the Big Valbowski. Miz then set him up for the Reality Check as Venis began to stand. Once on his feet Miz ran full speed at him and rammed his knee right into his head. Miz then went to finish it with the neckbreaker but was unable to grab Venis after the running knee. Venis instead turned right around and turned right back to Miz and grabbed him from behind. He stood at his side and pulled him backwards onto the mat with a Russian Legsweep. Venis then climbed up to the top rope and leaped off with a Splash landing right on Miz’s chest with the Money Shot, 1…2…3! Val Venis def. The Miz by pinfall with the Money Shot
A British flag blowing about over London, England appears on the titantron. After just a few seconds the writing Coming Soon appears on the bottom before the video fades to darkness!
Elijah Burke & Kenny Dykstra come out for their tag team match. They are accompanied to the ring with Maryse tonight. Burke gets on the microphone and says that while walking around backstage they came upon this beautiful goddess. He said that all the ugly whores around here should take note of what a true women looks like. Maryse does a little twirl in the ring showing herself off. Burke then goes on to say that over on Smackdown she like them was not giving what she deserves. She should have been Divas Champion months ago if it wasn’t for people holding her down just like they are with Burke and Kenny. They even left both of them out of the ECW Title match at Cyber Sunday. He and Kenny could wrestle circles around Dreamer, Finlay & Mark Henry. All of them need to realize that their time has come and gone and now it’s time for the younger ones. People like Val Venis need to get it in their head that they aren’t the big sexy thing they thought they were. Venis is a fat old man that dreams of sleeping with young beautiful girls like Maryse. Girls like Maryse would never go anywhere near flat slobs like him. He then continues on and talks about Evan Bourne still showing potential yet he tries acting like all these old guys that think they are so great. Bourne needs to stop following them and follow a real leader. He needs to follow the Guiding Light, Elijah Burke!
Tag Team Match – Elijah Burke & Kenny Dykstra vs. Carlito & Primo Colon This was an average match. Primo Colon really brought the match down as he still needs to learn quite a bit. The other three did well and looked good. The heels dominated the majority using their heel tactics with Maryse getting involved at any chance she got. She even blinded Carlito as she dug her nail into his eyes causing Primo to tag himself in. However Carlito couldn’t see properly and so he ended up punching his brother in the face, knocking him down. Burke then came in and threw Carlito out while Kenny climbed to the top rope. Kenny then leaped off and delivered a Leg Drop on Primo Colon, 1…2…3! Elijah Burke & Kenny def. Carlito & Primo by pinfall with a Sky High Leg Drop by Kenny
Tag Team Match – Matt Hardy & Tommy Dreamer vs. Finlay & Mark Henry This was a good match. Henry looked good in his return and even lost a few pounds which is good. The match mainly had the heels keeping Dreamer away from Matt Hardy. Dreamer is starting to slow down and got tired quite early. After a while Finlay let Dreamer tag in Hardy as he wanted to fight. Hardy came in ready to fight but Finlay quickly stepped back and tagged in Henry. Hardy tried his best and did well enough but Mark Henry was too big and strong. He just shoved Hardy about like he was nothing. In the end Hardy was forced to tag in Dreamer again who only came running in and got knocked down by Henry. Hardy then came over and the two had to double team him in order to get him down. Henry wouldn’t stay down however as he shoved Dreamer & Hardy to the floor and got back up. They tried to double team again but Finlay came running in and tackled Hardy to the ground. Both men exchanged shots on the outside with Hardy getting the upper hand and sending Finlay into the steel steps. In the ring though Dreamer wanted to hit the Dreamer DDT but he couldn’t get Henry down which caused Henry to just scoop him up and deliver a bodyslam in the middle of the ring. Henry then got up, ran into the ropes, and then came running back and jumped into the air landing with a big splash on the chest of Dreamer. Hardy tried to crawl into the ring and stop Henry but Finlay grabbed him by the leg and as Hardy leant backwards on the floor to stop Finlay he was hit with a shillelagh knocking him down. Finlay got up and slowly rolled into the ring as the referee counted, 1…2…3! Finlay & Mark Henry def. Matt Hardy & Tommy Dreamer by pinfall after a Splash on Tommy Dreamer
After the match Finlay got in the ring and had a staredown with Mark Henry for a moment. Both men then turned their heads to the side and stared as Matt Hardy walked slowly up the ramp with the ECW Championship. Dreamer is still down with Henry & Finlay standing over him while Hardy looks on with his ECW Title as ECW on Sci-Fi! comes to an end!

Not a fan of Burchill getting a push since he's pretty much done in the E. Good swerve there, I thought the tag belts would change...Katie Lea winning is interesting, that's two Burchill wins. Heel vs. Heel matches are interesting, especially two in a row for DiBiase (I think). Good way to make Orton look strong to close the show.
Like that Evan Bourne won his match. Venis-Miz is an interesting idea with the ladies. I hope Venis doesn't get too big of a push then. However, I think these two could have a good storyline. Glad Burke & Dykstra won; hopefully you do something good with them. Again I like how you closed out with the heels winning.
Cyber Sunday looks fine so far, although hopefully more stips are added, and not just "vs. _ or _ or _" choices.

Wednesday, Week 1, October 2008
Last nights ECW received a 0.24 rating on the Sci-Fi Network. This is up from last weeks 0.21 which is good news however WWE still wish to improve it further. The economy is going really bad right now as is the wrestling industry. TNA & ROH are both receiving many problems due to this meaning WWE isn't alone in this bad time.
Mark Henry made his return to ECW last night. He is not expected to last much longer with WWE. There is a possibility he will wrestle in a Survivor Series match before retiring. It was originally Evan Bourne that would be placed in the match but he still needed more momentum before being considered for a title match and so will begin his feud with Burke & Dykstra.
Many think that Hardy will be retaining no matter who gets voted in. Some think Finlay may win the belt if he gets voted in but some think Hardy's reign will go a bit longer.
Val Venis will begin feuding with The Miz while at the same time the two will join up with the Burke/Dykstra vs. Bourne feud. Its expected that Miz & Venis will both be trying to sleep with Maryse which leads to Venis succeeding. However while all that is starting to unfold expect Burke & Dykstra to be involved in a match at Cyber Sunday. Most likely in a Tag Title match.
Finally the video package that was shown last night was for a new debuting wrestler that is yet to be named. WWE are trying to keep him hidden for a bit longer but apparently its not going to be a huge name. So expect it only to be a little while before its becomes known backstage on who it is.

Friday, Week 1, October 2008
Smackdown starts up with the WWE Champion Triple H coming to the ring. Triple H talks about how it was now game over for Jeff Hardy he had his final shot and failed once again. Triple H says that he proved why he is the King of Kings, The Cerebral Assassin, The Game, and the WWE Champion.
Jeff Hardy then shows up and walks out to the ring. He tells Triple H that he admits he was not the better man last week. However in no way is it game over just yet. Hardy says that he was so close to winning he could taste it but just at the last second it was all taken away from him. Hardy says he isn’t ready to quit, he is here to continue the fight. Triple H speaks up and says that Hardy can’t just get a million title shots that he can use whenever he feels like it. If you want to step in the ring with the Game then you had better prove yourself worthy. As far as he sees it nobody on the roster is eligible for a title shot and since there is still no General Manager it’s his decision.
Hardy is about to say something when Montel Vontavious Porter interrupts him. MVP gets into the ring and tells Hardy to move a side for other people. His been waiting patiently on the bench for his chance and now that he sees it he isn’t going to let it go to Jeff Hardy again. He says he is the highest paid superstar on Smackdown for a reason and that is because he is the MVP. Hardy on the other hand is nothing more than the MIP, Most Invaluable Player. MVP says that if Triple H needs to face a worthy challenger then look no further then Montel Vontavious Porter.
Triple H speaks up saying that it was a nice speech and all but the last he looked MVP couldn’t even win the United States Championship. There was no way he could go anywhere near the WWE Championship. However he may be able to prove himself since there is no General Manager he will make the No.1 Contender choices. Tonight Montel Vontavious Porter faces Jeff Hardy with the winner facing him at Cyber Sunday. Hardy agrees but MVP hates the idea. He tells Triple H that Hardy lost his chance last week and he shouldn’t be given another one but Triple H doesn’t care and walks away!
Single Match – Gregory Helms vs. R-Truth This was an ok match. This match went on longer then it should have. The fans seemed to hate R-Truth all of a sudden and were all behind Helms. This made it a very boring match as R-Truth couldn’t get any momentum from the crowd and ended up shouting what’s up to himself. Helms looked good and got in the most offense during the match. In the end R-Truth fought back but since there was no crowd support it turned out very slow. Truth then went for a superkick but Helms ducked it. R-Truth turned around and walked right into a Shining Wizard, 1…2…3! Gregory Helms def. R-Truth by pinfall with a Shining Wizard
The Big Show makes his way out to the ring. He calls out Umaga who listens and walks out to the ring. Big Show tells Umaga that last week he failed to put The Undertaker to rest. He tells Umaga that Vickie Guerrero was insane in thinking that he could do it and she should have stuck with Big Show. He tells Umaga that now The Big Show will finish this once and for all. Umaga begins shouting in Samoan at Big Show but nobody understands. Umaga then suddenly attacks Big Show forcing Big Show to retaliate. The two go back and forth with hard punches before Big Show grabs Umaga by the throat. Umaga however will not let him Chokeslam him and instead begins driving his thumb into The Big Show with the Samoan Spike. Big Show is able to shake off the first two shots with ease but the 3rd was too much and forced Big Show back against the ropes. Suddenly the lights in the arena turned dark and as they came back on The Undertaker showed up in the ring. Umaga turned but Undertaker grabbed him by the throat. Umaga tried hitting the Samoan Spike but Undertaker blocked it. He then lifted Umaga up only about a foot off the mat and delivered the Chokeslam. He went to go after Big Show but Show had fled the ring. The lights turned blue as Undertaker taunted in the ring for a little while!
Single Match – Carlito vs. Evan Bourne This was a random but good match. The crowd is in love with Evan Bourne but Carlito didn’t get much reaction at all and some people at ringside were shouting a ton of abuse at Primo Colon who stood outside. Carlito kept Bourne on the ground to stop him flying around but Evan proved to be too quick for Carlito on several occasions and was able to escape his grasp. Carlito tried to get Primo to help but he ended up tripping on the apron which seemed very odd and unplanned. Carlito was left with no help as he fought back against Bourne. Carlito tried finishing it with the Backstabber but Evan held the ropes forcing Carlito to fall down onto his back. Bourne quickly climbed the turnbuckle and stood on the top rope before leaping off with a picture perfect Shooting Star Press, 1…2…3! Evan Bourne def. Carlito by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press
The Brian Kendrick comes out to the ring without Ezekiel Jackson this week. He doesn’t seem very happy as he grabs the microphone. He says that last week he got screwed out of the United States Title. He should be holding the gold right now but his former partner Paul London had to get involved. He says that London is just jealous of his success he always was jealous of him while they were a tag team. All during that time London was bringing the team down. They could have been one of the greatest tag teams in history if they wanted but London always had to mess everything up. Kendrick says that when he got moved to Smackdown it great because he got a chance to be himself and prove to everyone how good he is. He was even in the WWE Championship Scramble something London could only dream about.
Paul London interrupts Kendrick and comes running down to the ring. He gets a microphone and tells Kendrick that he is pathetic. Kendrick got a lucky break and now he thinks he is the greatest superstar in the WWE. London tells Kendrick that all he has done since being no Smackdown is participated in the WWE Championship Scramble where his little title reign didn’t even count. He hasn’t done anything and he couldn’t even win the United States Championship. If anything Kendrick is the one jealous of his ability and the only reason he tried breaking out by himself is because he didn’t want to be around when WWE realized I was the better man. He tried getting away and tried to prove to himself that he was better than me something that he hasn’t been able to accomplish. He tells Kendrick that he wishes he could be better then London but they and everyone else knows that it will never happen.
Kendrick can’t take anymore as he drops the microphone down and shoves his way past London. He gets out of the ring and walks up the ramp. However while walking up the cameraman could just pick up his voice whispering to himself that London made a big mistake!
Single Match – Paul London vs. Shelton Benjamin This was a great match. Both men did really well and the crowd loved it. This was very fast paced action with both men trying to do something better than the other. Benjamin helped London show a bit more mat wrestling then just his usual high flying. It made the match go back and forth the whole way through. London almost got the win half way through after Benjamin messed up a Springboard allowing London to take advantage and deliver a running Shooting star Press but only got a two count. The match continued with Benjamin coming back and even delivering a T-Bone Suplex but London kicked out at two. In the end of the match Benjamin went for a Superkick but London caught his foot and spun Benjamin around. As Benjamin spun around to London he tried hitting him with a spinning heel kick he calls the Dragon Whip but London ducked it forcing Benjamin to land on the mat. Benjamin got to his feet only to be kicked down with a Dropsault. London then jumped up onto the top rope and jumped off for a 450° Splash. Benjamin however rolled away in the last second causing London to land hard face first on the mat. Benjamin got back to his feet and waited as London pulled himself up using the ropes. Once London was to his feet, Benjamin ran at him and quickly delivered the Paydirt, 1…2…3! Shelton Benjamin def. Paul London by pinfall with the Paydirt
After the match Benjamin celebrates his victory when Vladimir Kozlov comes charging into the ring. He runs at Benjamin and just head butts him right in the chest. Benjamin goes down like a ton of bricks and is out cold. Paul London is to his feet and tries helping Benjamin but Kozlov just lifts him up and throws him over the top rope to the outside. Kozlov then picks up Benjamin’s United States Championship and holds it up above his head!
Single Match – WWE Divas Championship Natalya Neidhart(C) vs. Michelle McCool This was a short but ok match. McCool couldn’t keep up with Natalya which ruined the match a bit. Natalya dominated the majority with Michelle getting a few quick bursts of momentum. Michelle couldn’t seem to finish Natalya off and got very frustrated. In the end Victoria came running down and jumped onto the apron while Natalya talked to the referee. Michelle tried to punch Victoria off but she missed allowing Victoria to grab her head and drag down across the top rope. Michelle fell backwards onto the mat allowing Natalya to quickly lock in the Sharpshooter forcing Michelle to tap out! Natalya def. Michelle McCool by submission with a Sharpshooter following interference from Victoria
After the match Victoria got in the ring and told Natalya that how about she gets a shot at the Divas Championship. Natalya was a little surprised at first but then smiled. However before she could answer Gail Kim ran down to the ring. Kim hit Victoria and Natalya and forced the two to retreat. Kim stayed in the ring and attended to Michelle McCool!
After a commercial break DH Smith and TJ Wilson, the Canadian Bulldogs come down to the ring. They are holding up their Tag Team Titles and are about to speak when they are interrupted by Armando Estrada. Armando gets into the ring and tells everyone that his name is Armando Alejandro Estrada and starting tonight he has found himself some new clients. He holds out his arms at this and The Canadian Bulldogs think that they might be his clients. Armando says let me introduce to you all the greatest tag team to step in this ring, The New Wild Samoans.
Suddenly two big Samoan men attack Smith & Wilson from behind. They begin beating down on the Tag Champs. Armando welcomes his clients Manu and Kafu to Smackdown and warns The Canadian Bulldogs that they will not be champions for long. Kafu then picks up Wilson and delivers a Crucifix Powerbomb while Manu lifts Smith up from behind like his going for a Back Suplex and instead quickly turns around and drops Smith down with a Neckbreaker in the middle of the ring. Manu & Kafu stand tall over the fallen Champs!
Single Match – Jeff Hardy vs. MVP This was a great match. Both men gave it their all. MVP got a ton of heat and Hardy was very over with the crowd. MVP had control for most of the match and did anything to stop Hardy. Jeff would fire back with a bunch of shots as the crowd would begin go crazy. MVP however would just stop him in his tracks using some dirty tactic. MVP tried hitting the Playmaker half way through the match but Hardy reversed it by pulling MVP’s leg out from under him. Hardy then dropped both his legs down hard in between MVP’s legs. Hardy fought back and seemed in full control however he ran into the corner and ran up the turnbuckle to hit the Whisper in the Wind but MVP quickly moved to the side forcing Hardy to crash and burn. MVP took control as he beat down on Hardy. He shoved Hardy into the corner and then ran at him and kicked him in the face with a big boot. Hardy fell down to the mat and seemed out of it. MVP quickly ran into the ropes, and did his Ballin’ Elbow but only got a two count. MVP stood back as Hardy got to his feet. Once up to one knee, MVP ran at him trying to hit his Drive-By Kick. Hardy quickly dodged it and got to his feet. He quickly kicked MVP in the midsection and delivered a Twist of Fate. Hardy then went onto the turnbuckle and hit the Swanton Bomb, 1…2…3! Jeff Hardy def. MVP by pinfall with a Swanton Bomb
After the match Triple H came down to the ring and clapped for Hardy. He then shouted out last chance as Smackdown comes to an end!

Saturday, Week 1, October 2008
Last nights Smackdown received a 2.39 on My Network TV. This is down from last weeks again.
Jeff Hardy was not expected to be given another chance especially after being caught with marijuana however his fan reaction is still high so WWE decided to end his feud with Triple H at Cyber Sunday. It was originally going to be MVP or MVP as one of his choices but Vince McMahon wasn't fond of the idea and decided that he would get his chance later on after developing a bit more.
Big Show or Umaga is expected to get a win over Undertaker very soon in order to push the feud a bit longer. Many are suggesting have a Triple Threat Casket, Buried Alive, or Last Ride match at Survivor Series to end the feud however some are not so sure in the idea.
Kozlov will most likely be facing Shelton Benjamin at Cyber Sunday however Brian Kendrick & Paul London could also be added as choices instead. Kozlov is expected to become champion to continue his undefeated streak where as neither London nor Kendrick is expected to win the belt anytime soon. Benjamin could be in line for a big push in 2009 and possible Money in the Bank winner.
Victoria will most likely turn on Natalya soon so she could be winning the Diva title. There will most likely not be a Diva Title match at Cyber Sunday and instead will be used on Smackdown sometime at the end of the month. The feud will then go back and forth between them and Gail Kim for a little while longer.
The new tag team that debuted last night was Afa Jr. the son of Afa Anoa'i and Kafu a Brazilian wrestler that has been in FCW for a little while now. Kafu will be pretending to be Samoan since he looks close enough and the two are set for a big push on Smackdown. They will most likely win the Tag Team Titles sometime before 2009.
Gregory Helms is getting ready for a midcard push. It will most likely happen sometime after Cyber Sunday against whoever is going to be United States Champion. R-Truth will probably be de-pushed so he can be modified a bit in order to get the crowd interested again.
