Hi, I'm new around here. Just wanted to ask whether a Razor Ramon ultimate edition, would be planned to make? Of course it would go well with the ultimate edition ring. If so, what would your top 3 attire choices be? Green would be great! He’s a great candidate. Hopefully it’s just a matter of time. What is the Ultimate Legends line?

When I say ‘Elite exclusives’, I’m referring to the Target/Walmart exclusive figures like Col Mustafa, The Goon, Zodiac, Warlord, Chief Jay Strongbow, etc. If they are continuing, do we know what the exclusives are for Elite 91, 92, 93 or beyond?

Anyone got links to the Walmart pages for these? Even if out of stock, I’d like to monitor, thanks!

I already grabbed mine for a premium on the secondary market and love this figure. Reminds me of Elite 68 Mabel as far as quality goes.- figure of the year candidate for sure:

Are you starting a second shelf? I dont know how you can fit anymore in that amazing collection you have! Yes. I caved and decided to expand my collection to the Attitude Era. Thank you for the compliments! Are you starting a second shelf? I dont know how you can fit anymore in that amazing collection you have! Dear god I hope so. Best collection I’ve ever seen Thank you! Obviously it is going to take me time to flush out the post-1997 collection, but I’m working on it. Will post some of my updates soon but here’s a peek of my work in progress... The thing I’ve noticed -and let me preface by saying that I understand since Mattel is running a business - is the number of ‘duplicates’ the Attitude Era superstars have as it relates to figures (i.e. Triple H, The Rock, Austin, Undertaker, etc.). I know the Golden Age/New Gen has their share too but it just seems like Attitude Era has so many similar figures with very little differences. I’d rather see a more diverse selection of characters but I guess those talents are just harder to get under a deal (or have sued WWE)? So many crucial Attitude Era characters are still MIA some 10+ years after Mattel acquired the license (Val Venis, Al Snow, Jeff Jarrett, Steve Blackman, Gangrel, Sable, Marc Mero, Sunny, Hardcore Holly, Grandmaster Sexay, etc.). Here’s to hoping for progress on that front...

This is an EXCELLENT set. Job well done MattelDesignTeam Very underrated set of figures here. Definitely buying more than one of this set. People almost universally love this set. It's not underrated at all lmao. Yes I’m seeing lots of positive reviews now that its been out a little but I made that statement about pre-release or first week of release. I wasn’t seeing a ton of praise and in fact saw several people criticize it. Regardless, I’m glad MattelDesignTeam is getting the proper praise for this awesome set!

At the risk of sounding negative, my honest opinion is that this is yet another superstar that did not need an Ultimate Edition figure (or another figure in black trunks / black boots for the 1500th time). I get why he was chosen (i.e. super popular, an anchor figure, will sell, etc. and all that) but for all the potential that a line like Ultimate Edition has and with only 2 superstars per series, to use (read: waste) a selection on such a simple figure that has not only had a million elites already, but rarely changed his look in the first place, is just a huge disappointment to me. No reason why this couldn’t and shouldn’t have been an elite. In my opinion, the best use of Ultimate Edition is to produce figures that would exceed the budget if they were included in the Elite line. Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Shinsuke, Triple H, and now Austin are just completely unworthy of the line in my opinion. Or let me say it differently - there are countless other superstars under contract to Mattel that would’ve capitalized on this line so much more. The choices to include Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and The Fiend were great choices of stars that had multiple accessories/complex attires that best encompasses the series. But Austin, not so much. My opinion. If you were to choose the next 3 legends in this line who would you choose/ what year/attire and why? Love your stuff man Thanks man, that’s very kind of you to say. I will say that I love the ‘92 Macho Man that we saw previewed earlier this year so that’s a solid choice. If I had my druthers, I’d have done an Ultimate Edition of Royal Rumble ‘91 Macho King earlier in the line (Series 2 or 3) since Savage went through 2 iconic looks within an hour at that event (cowboy hat & glasses, bandanna and scepter). The Royal Rumble Elite was good enough but that attire and event was begging for the UE treatment and a complete missed opportunity by MattelDesignTeamFor the next one, you have to go Hulk Rules or Python Power Hulk Hogan. Yes, it could be done as an Elite (just like nWo Hollywood) but UE would allow for some extra accesories that would make for a sweet package. If doing Python Power for example, I’d include the Python Power bandanna, Python Power shirt, Winged Eagle belt, USA flag, and the blue/white star bandanna Hogan wore at WrestleMania VII. Or for Hulk Rules, I’d do Hulk Rules bandanna, Hulk Rules shirt, a few different headsculpts and also the HULK most muscular pose shirt (think Hogan’s second WWF Hasbro). This is unlikely (same with my idea for Python Power) though just because Mattel likes to spread out their attires and, in each of my examples, they could probably get 2-3 figures out of each rather than combine into one package. It is a business so I get that, but hey, we’re talking about what I would like to see... And last, either 1995 Shawn Michaels (with chaps, vest, HAT!, knee pads, hair up head sculpt, hair down head sculpt, and IC belt) - maybe Royal Rumble ‘95, KOTR 95, or Survivor Series 95?). So many other choices though. To name a few there’s ‘95 Double J, provided he gets put on a deal, or ‘96 Jerry Lawler with crown, jacket, headset, microphone, multiple headsculpts to reflect his numerous awful haircuts between ‘95 and ‘96, ‘95 Rumble yellow tights Razor Ramon with multiple vests, also numerous headsculpts, IC belt, I’ll stop there but I could go on.

I’ve decided to expand my collection to the Attitude Era and need to know which figures i need to collect. Whereas my collection originally stopped at around WrestleMania XIV, I did extend it to a few figures into ‘99 and 2000 but now I’ve decided to try and collect through WrestleMania X-Seven. So here is what I have so far:
Stone Cold The Rock Undertaker (Ministry/ABA) Kurt Angle (Entrance Greats) Kane (Hardcore, Debut Kane) Shawn Michaels (DX, Commissioner) Triple H DX (Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Road Dogg, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Chyna) The Nation (Godfather, Rock, Faarooq, D Lo Brown, Mark Henry) Ken Sharmcok APA Faarooq & Bradshaw Edge & Christian Hardy Boyz & Lita Dudley Boyz Rikishi & Scotty Too Hotty Mr. McMahon & Shane McMahon Patterson & Brisco Big Show Mankind / Cactus Jack / Dude Love Chris Jericho Viscera Corporate Big Boss Man Terry Funk Jim Ross William Regal Chyna Eddie Guerrero HOF
I’m not concerned with every single figure/attire but mostly just having at least one figure of each superstar (if their attire is from the Attitude Era/WrestleMania 17). So who have I missed?

I'm thinking about expanding my loose collection to begin with the original WrestleMania in 1985. Currently, my collection starts around WrestleMania III (mid-1987) and I was just wondering what figures I would need to collect in order to have a "complete" collection of Mattel releases for those years. So in other words, what figures have Mattel released for the time period of 1985 through 1987? Here's what I have so far:
Mr T & Roddy Piper 2-Pack Paul Orndorff King Kong Bundy George "The Animal" Steele Ricky "The Dragon" Randy Savage WMIII Ms. Elizabeth TNF Legends 8 Jake Roberts Bobby Heenan WMIII Andre The Giant Hulk Hogan WMIII Terry Funk Wendi Richter Hiliblly Jim Iron Sheik Cowboy Bob Orton
I know there are several attires of figures and I am not going to mention all (i.e. Orndorff, Jake, Mr. T SDCC, etc.) - I am really just focusing on the superstars/names but feel free to point out any specific attires made for 1985 through 1987 that I might be forgetting. Thanks!

Judging by the Ringside photo, it’s looks like his late ‘90/early ‘91 WWF look (think Survivor Series ‘90 promo photo). I’d definitely buy this if that’s the case but not sure if this info has been revealed yet.

Curious how you get the new hands to fit into the larger peg holes? I know I'm asking this question alot here lately but am curious to see as many different responses as possible since there may be more than one way to accomplish this. I have so many older figures that I think would benefit greatly with some of the new hands (this Andre one as an example). Problem is those older figures' arms have the larger peg holes and I've yet to find a real great solution for keeping the new smaller-peg hands on tight. I'm not sure of any other methods but here is the way I do it. Thank you! I really appreciate these details and photos. So the plastic just works as a way to “thicken up” the pegs, making them similar to the original types?
