British Bulldog or Virgil, for example, can I use regular (non-BAF) Ellie arms or will these not connect properly?

“Abysmal showing” “Mattel line may be finished sooner than later” This gimmick has run it’s course. 🥱 Followed by “these legends MUST be signed… Killer Bees and Hercules Hernandez” Now don’t get me wrong id be all about Mattel signing those two but im a legends only collector. To think that Mattel would be “finished” because they didn’t sign B. Brian Blair is hilariously obtuse.

Steve - do you have any updates on Series 4 Walmart exclusive Superstars line, specifically Typhoon and Mr. T and whether or not these will be circulating soon? We know that Rock and Savage were also included in the first sets of series 5 with Earthquake and Rick Rude so should we expect Typhoon and T to be a difficult / scarce find?

Maybe it was a custom I saw then. Did Mattel reveal any HBKs with that head at the Mega Powers launch, WrestleMania or any other recent event?

Two questions related to WWE Mattel heads. First, did Mattel ever make a Shawn Michaels ‘91/‘92 style head that is very light blonde/yellow and not the lighter shade of brown that was used in his WrestleMania IX Elite or WrestleMania VIII (Ringside Exclusive) / Legends 17? I could’ve sworn I saw a Shawn Michaels with yellow hair and brown colored tips in the style of those same ‘92 headsculpts but cannot determine from what figure - maybe it’s an upcoming figure yet to be released?
Second question, ignoring the scale discrepancy, would a Walmart WWE Superstars head fit on a Mattel Elite figure/head peg?

I’ll also add - on any further Cody Ultimates I hope they give him the Rick Rude torso. Cody is in phenomenal shape now compared to when he returned at WM 38. Thaaaat might be a stretch. He’s in great shape, yes. Rick Rude shape? Few in the history ever were, at least when it came to upper body. Those chicken legs sure did stand out at the Slammys though.

Not sure to whom specifically this gripe should be requested but CAN WE PLEASE STOP GIVING WALMART EXCLUSIVE FIGURES?!? Their pre-order system is just abysmal and broken. I’ve had EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY 11 DIFFERENT PRE-ORDERS CANCELLED (ie WWE Superstars Series 2, Series 3, with zero hope for series 4, Ruthless Aggression 2) in 2021 and 2022. All it ever does is provide me with a terrible customer experience and frustration with Mattel by way of Walmart, so LOSE-LOSE-LOSE.
Walmart has proven time after time they are not equipped to offer any type of pre-ordering system, much less a functional, satisfactory one. And I’m not even talking about getting figures first, but just guaranteeing a figure at all. Target should be the beneficiary here since they’ve cleared rectified any issues they’ve had previously and now have a scalable, functional pre-order system that - at the very least - works at a high level with Mattel.
I understand the need to diversify the retailers to which Mattel distributes their products, but even giving Walmart 2 exclusive figures per year would be way off balance considering the retailer here can’t hold up its end of the bargain. Much less its own unique line in the popular WWE Superstars series. Mattel needs to take accountability for continuing to enable Walmart here. This is nothing new as Walmart’s been known to have these issues for years now and Mattel hasn’t reacted, much less aggressively implemented a fix or better practices. Mattel is knowingly and willingly short-changing their customer base by continuing to operate in this manner quarter after quarter.
Walmart - just send me my GD toys that I ordered 8 months ago please? I know it is NOT that hard.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Rhythm & Blues Greg Valentine pop up in this set somewhere down the line. Good call. Is that the only look that Mattel has made as a Retro before an Elite/UE or even basic (at least when it comes to Legends)?

For the collectors out there that have the whole arena/ringside area displayed as part of their collections, do you have any recommendations for what type of stand/table/desk to start with? Until now, I’ve only ever been interested in collecting and displaying loose action figures (not rings, entrance stages, etc.) but having put together the New Generation arena (and then seeing the RAW is WAR ring, and RAW 30th anniversary set with R-A-W letters) I must say that I was quite impressed with it. It’s made me consider setting up an area to display the ring/arena and I thought I’d ask the forum if there’s any type of table that’s better for this type of use?
Obviously, there’s thousands of tables that could probably work, but just like IKEA detolf display cases are a preferred type of cabinet for displaying loose figures, I was wondering if something similar existed for larger display areas like arenas/rings. Obviously I want something sturdy and probably not too high/tall but is there anything else I should look for (or avoid) when table shopping for this purpose?
I know this is a stupid post for many of you, but even if I get one piece of feedback that’s helpful to me, it could be worth it and I would appreciate it. Some of these displays/arenas I’ve seen by figure photographers are incredibly impressive and so I figured there might be some value in asking the community. Thanks!

The new elbows have two points of articulation, making the arms a four piece construction instead of three. The old arms were comprised of a shoulder piece, a bicep piece, and a forearm piece, with a pinned joint where the bicep and the forearm meet. The new ones are shoulder, bicep, elbow, forearm, with pinless joints connecting the elbow to the upper and lower arm pieces. The result is, in general, the ability for the arm to move into tighter poses, whereas the older ones could only move to about 90 degrees. Excellent description. Thank you!!

This is probably a stupid question to many of you, but I was just hoping to get some clarification on what the difference is between the original elite style elbows and the current style of elbows? I believe the current style are pin-less (ie. no pins inside the plastic) and referred to as double-jointed. When I think of the term ‘double-jointed’ I think of being able to bend the joint both ways, or 180 degrees even though that is not natural for most humans, but perhaps my understanding is off. What can these double-jointed/new elbows do that the older, original elite elbows could not do? Thanks!

Got an email yesterday that my pre-orders for Ultimate Edition 16 Razor are delayed. Did everyone who was part of pre-order 1 receive this?

What figures/series have hands that are easily removed and swappable without breaking the pegs? In other words, when did this functionality begin? I am really only wondering about the Elite and Legends lines (though others may want to k kw about the basics and other lines).
For older figures that do not have easily swappable hands, what is the best method to make use of the new hands anyway without breaking the pegs and/or having a loose wrist? Replacing the entire arm? Open to all expert suggestions.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: they should have used the new TrueFX Legends Bam Bam head instead of the original head with TrueFX slapped on. Can someone explain what True FX is and the difference between a True FX scan and having True FX “slapped on”?

Where do we think the secondary market is gonna land on these things, price-wise, in a month? 3 months? 6 months? Beyond?

I know in the past when Mattel has done re-releaseses, there’s usually some minor changes to the re-released figure. Is that the case with this latest line of Elite Legends Greatest Hits 1 for Jake, Bam Bam, Rikishi, Rock and Undertaker?

Do we have a picture of this RAW set MOC? Also, I did not know Undertaker is coming with soft goods jacket. Was that confirmed? Oh excellent, thank you sir! This does look great MOC.

Not really. This has clearance written all over it. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad it's being made but it's not day one purchase. I will get it... eventually. The 4 horsemen set was awesome & that warmed. Anybody remember the retail price for that? I'm guessing this set is more expensive The 4 horsemen set had no accessories except Windham’s vest and was still $50. This set has accessories for each figure (including a soft goods jacket for Taker) PLUS the RAW sign and is $65, and it looks better MOC imo. Do we have a picture of this RAW set MOC? Also, I did not know Undertaker is coming with soft goods jacket. Was that confirmed?
