This line has been such a fumble. As bad if not worse than some of the early Legends series choices in terms of characters/attires.There’s been, what, 10 UE figures released so far and every series contained 1 if not BOTH characters that we already have 1000x figures on. Brock Lesnar, Shinsuke, Finn, Triple H, HBK, and now John friggin Cena and Becky Lynch who rivals the HBK in terms of most brutal headsculpts? This after they already clearly had plans for multiple other Cenas (as per Toy Fair reveals). Seriously who is running this line? If it’s not sabotage, it’s complete ineptitude. I understand wanting to pick characters that sell and have marketability but the whole appeal of this line and it’s price tag seems to be geared towards the adult collector willing to pay top dollar for a figure. And everyone on here would’ve been able to tell you how much of a failure this line would be if given the names of the first 10 releases. I’m all for a line like this done right, but at this point I want this line to fail - and any other line done with the same stupidity of character/attire choice. I don’t doubt Mattel employees worked hard on this line and I don’t mean to imply otherwise, but they sure didn’t work smartly. And when their top partner is asking for $40 shipped per figure, I expect much more. Instead of waiting til they could do a Double J, Hollywood or Hulk Rules Hogan, or if it must be a rehash, a Macho King w/bandanna, cowboy hat, scepter, glasses, shirt, jacket, etc., we get a Brock and Shinsuke in looks that we already got. lol Mattel. Lmao every character except Nakamura was a fine choice Ultimate Warrior: one of the 4 main 80s WWF Legends Ronda Rousey: most famous female fighter ever, movie star, undefeated for a year and her first figure in Ring attire Bret Hart: the face of the WWF pre-Stone Cold, iconic pink and black gear Triple H: Attitude Era star in the attire from the peak of his career Finn Bálor: demon is cool, his figures always sell in the demon paint Brock Lesnar: main eventer with crossover appeal, presented as a star since day one Shawn Michaels: 1B to Bret’s 1A; in Montreal Screwjob attire (with an old Bret matching it) John Cena (a living meme, movie star, and merchandise machine) Becky Lynch (the top star in the company today besides Brock Lesnar) I can’t believe you people want this to fail because you’re not getting specifically what you want. Never change Wfigs Lol fine character choices....That doesn’t seem to be the generally accepted consensus. Plus only two, maybe three of those needed the up charge and could’ve easily been released as a regular elite. And I’m not complaining because I didn’t get what I want. Don’t put words in my mouth. I’m complaining because it seems like the majority of consumers didn’t get what they want - that makes for a bad overall product and even worse market research. Completely different thing. Even still, wanting it to fail may have been an overstatement but I just hate seeing line after line fail, especially when it’s mostly due to character/attire selection that could’ve easily been avoided. Anyone that’s followed me or my collection knows my commitment to supporting Mattel but I hate seeing the same mistakes made year after year, dead line after dead line, and then Mattel’s forced to think up something new to replace a line that was conceptually superior. Of course this is all a matter of opinion.

Your collection is still the gold standard. No love for American Badass Undertaker tho? I've got Elite 68 MOC but I've also got Ministry DM MOC and have debated opening and display both of them at various points but ultimately never pulled the trigger. My thought was that the Undertaker I do have displayed from around '97 was sufficient. Did I really need another Undertaker? I guess the answer is YES to represent ABA version but then again my collection ends at around 1999, 2000 might be pushing it thread title notwithstanding. I know ABA debuted at Judgment day 2000... ah F it I think you just made me convince myself to display E68. It's not my favorite figure though, especially the headscan, that's another thing. It's been awesome watching your collection grow over the years. Thank you! I'm debating going to two separate shelves again, like I once had, only longer. Not to expand my collection as much but to make the figures I do have more visible. I feel some of the collection gets hidden behind the multiple rows I have. Going from one shelf of 7 rows of figures to two shelves of 3-4 rows might make each stand out more. We'll see...

Does anyone have a date on that Razor Ramon attire? I wonder if that Undertaker will have swappable grey gloves? Just by looking at it I’m saying it’s WrestleMania XI. Needs white laces though. In an update to my criticism of the white laces, after looking at the reference pics on WWE.com it looks like Mattel got it right with black laces. The IG photo looks like the boots are all blue, but in the ref photo the laces are black which if memory serves was accurate for Mania Xi. Match vs. Double J for the IC strap. Kid dressed like a Chinadoll.

I had to switch out to a smaller neck peg to fix that problem. Sucks because you have to crack the torso to do that. Does look better though. I know this thread is a couple months old but since the figure is still available to purchase I figured I’d ask for a pic of this. Or does anyone else have this RSC Kane 2-in-1 figure with a head that doesn’t sit too high? Would love photos to see if the figure can be salvaged (without much hassle). I declined to purchase initially because of this awful too much neck issue but am considering it again - only if the neck issue can be fixed. Otherwise to me this is a very unfortunate miss. Thanks!

Just trying to think of which Mattel figures (preferably elites) would be historically accurate with the silver classic tag straps that Ringside sells in their latest 5-pack? The only team I can think of is Demolition but obviously not with Crush. While the Hart Foundation would be another, the elite versions that Mattel has produced is from 1989-1991 and the silver straps were around prior to ‘88. What other figures does that leave? Tito? His elite figure is from his singles run from ‘89-‘91 but did Strike Force ever hold the silver straps? The Beefcake elite is not from his Dream Team days (figure is clearly from his days as The Barber and his decade-defining mullet). So who else am I missing? All of Bulldog’s figures are from his singles run (by the way, who else would love a long haired-no braids version of Davey Boy circa late ‘94/Royal Rumble ‘95). I do like the idea of silver straps but who would they be used for? Yes, Strike force wore the silver tags for a while before the gold ones. I think only 5 teams wore the silver tag titles, the US Express, the Dream Team, the British Bulldogs, the Hart Foundation, and Strike Force. As of right now, I think the only 2 figures that have been released that wore these titles were the Tito Santana elite and the Bret Hart basic from the Royal Rumble Heritage set. Definitely need more elite figures to go with these belts. This sounds good to me. The Bret basic RRH may be the only true figure but Tito could pass for a Strike Force version since his attire hardly changed from Strike Force to his singles run.

Incredible figure. Very underrated and should’ve been released YEARS before we got it. Happy we did though.

Why was my post deleted from this page? I asked OP to change title cause the subject was incredibly misleading and just garbage clickbait. And it gets deleted? Just looking out in the interest of avoiding BS and negative rumors. My bad. How dare I.
No wonder this place is a ghost town anymore...

HOF Macho King Network Spotlight HBK (SummerSlam 95) just wished it would've included kneepads Target Rocky Maivia Elite Narcissist Legends Rick Martel (certainly not underrated according to secondary market pricing but don't hear enough about how accurate and great this figure is) Retrofest Honky Tonk Man Basic SummerSlam Heritage British Bulldog (SummerSlam 92)

More cartoonish to me. Shawn looks like a representation of a comic book drawing of HBK and not like the actual person that wrestled at Survivor Series 97.

If its not too much trouble, can. you put the SC Hulk Rules shirt on the Mattel? If its a pain, don't worry about it. Thanks!

Everyone saying they've yet to nail a Diesel face scan, I disagree completely. The HOF version is incredible. It's just that this was his look for only a few months in 1993 and really before he began wearing the attire he's packaged in. By mid-94. the mullet was growing out and so his face doesn't match the HOF figure. Still though, HOF face scan is ON POINT.
