Sidebar on the tour. Devildriver is gonna be playing some Coal Chamber material on this run. I'm partly torn on it. On one hand, I'll be able to hear live Coal Chamber music. On the other, it's not Coal Chamber, it's not the chemistry that the 4 of them had. Dez, Meegs, Mikal, and Nadja. Supposedly only on certain dates? Maybe they will be there then as a surprise?

I have over 300 CD's You have a great collection. Soundtrack fan I see....good stuff. My dream is to build a room that has cds/cassettes/vinyl all around the walls like the old record stores. Make a listening room out of it.

Am I the only one who can't stand the whole "Africa" resurgence? I dig it, but we know we have to blame Zach Braff in Scrubs for the comeback Edit: I have refrained from making the LL Cool J comeback line refrence to not seem as corny.

To add to that point, when they land a TV deal, a lot of their costs will be covered. The rest, over time, could likely be made up with merch and tickets. Maybe not over night but it’s not like they will be hemorrhaging money like WCW was. There will be a ton of costs to start this company up, yes, but the lucrative contracts are paid monthly, not all at once. It’s not as if they have to shell out $30,000,000.00 to the boys in week one of the show. Yeah, but it’s all if they can even draw. Can’t base it on the turnout for a one off show last summer. They will have to book and write weekly tv, which no one knows if they can even do it, let alone draw eyes to the product that aren’t sweaty nerds who drool over them online. Land a tv deal that is nationally syndicated, on a channel that is available everywhere. Wrestling fans like to watch wrestling. If they can advertise for it, surely it will be the old "if we build it they will come" addage. Can they buy airtime on say a USA or Fox? Superbowl ad? It is all about eyes...

The last I checked he does do them every once in awhile. Still a legend. Throwing the word legend around kinda loosely don’t ya think? I respectfully say he is a legend to some of us. I know a lot of people care less for deathmatches, but in that realm, he was the king of the west.

Jim Ross is still under a WWE contract and I don't see him working with AEW. Alex Marvez will be one be a commentator but I see someone else who isn't Jim Ross filling the second seat in the booth. Christian was interviewed by TV Insider this is what he said about AEW. My apologies all, I shouldn't have trusted what I read (didn't think it would be a farce) for the commentary team news.

I will sound dumb, but McFarlane. No one did likenesses better. sure they have but maybe at the price point, McF might be second best. Neca is way better on likeness but their QC is suspect. Plus they only do what Randy likes it seems and Randy only has a hard on for horror now days. Maybe a decent one would be DST (Diamond Select Toys) Diamond does beautiful stuff, but lets not forget Graffitti Designs if we are going that route...

Cannot replace Stack at all. Stoked to see it coming back though for a 2nd reboot, sans Franz I presume. If only I could hear the P.O. box 1449 again.

We're fixing to have another Queensryche all over. Yesterday, news broke of the new Ill Nino single. Laz Pina posted on FB that Shattered Sun singer Marcus Leal was the new vocalist of Ill Nino, and Sal Dominguez - formerly of Upon A Burning Body - was the new rhythm guitarist, and lead was now handled by Jess Dehoyos. Today, Ahrue Luster posted a screencap from Cristian Machado saying the following: [Edit added to emulate the screen cap ] New Ill Nino...yes please. Haven't thought about them in a new capacity in a while, but did listen to "what comes around" the other day. I do not particularly like a band being called the same name with a different singer...I grew up on a certain voice, and that name will always ring with it.

All these articles do is paint the wrestlers as future world champions or revolutionaries. I'm just wondering what will happen when the IWC gets all their favorites in one place. Will they be demanding that AEW hot potato titles? Will Young Bucks and Top Guys (Presumably their name or FTW maybe) be co champions? Is there an undercard? What will happen when one team loses one match? Will the fans be screaming that their favorites will be buried. I can't remember what old timer said it, but the worst thing to be is a mark for yourself. AEW seems to be filled with those egos and these "reports" seem to paint everyone who is leaving as a main event star with followers demanding they be in the main event. I guess they will put on 12 man title matches that go to a draw so no one loses and gets buried. I think it is people trying to say these guys can wrestle, and would just like to see them get to do it to their best ability, especially seeing them do it previously in say NXT or ROH. I don't think everyone has to go to AEW, there are other great places that need to stay going too....Mike would be good Feuding with Taven back in ROH, or bring back Prodigy. Back in the day each match/wrestler on a card mattered, be it WCW, WWF, or ECW. We cared about everything. I get people saying they are marks for theirselves, but if you don't buy into your own hype, why should others? People want to be cheered and revered, and leave some kind of noticeable mark. I know I do, and I am nothing more than a forgettable human.

Dear wrestling gods... Please put Cyrus and Joey Styles on commentary. Sad to say it looks like we lost on this dream. Tenay and J.R. are rumored to be the announce team. This sucks compared to having Styles IMO.
