I've managed to get my shirt into a pretty wide tearing look. If it's not like that, I pretty much don't even like the "torn" shirt idea at all. What makes it harder is that the arms not having double hinge elbows really don't allow for the proper range of motion to pull this look off correctly.
But this is what I was able to come up with -
without a belt -
I think that looks alright. Not the best, but I think it's the best I'm gonna get out of this figure.
My complaints - I really wish we could have gotten an "unripped" shirt to go along with this. As posing him with the shirt on but not ripping it, is pretty useless. He basically has 1 worthwhile look, and that's what I have pictured above. Anything else just doesn't cut it. Shirtless with bandana, don't like it. No shirt, no bandana, don't like it.
I know we never get double hinge elbows on wwe figures, but I really think this figure could have used it. Not to mention all "elite" level figures. But this one in particular because of the ripped shirt feature, just not working well without the extra elbow joints.
I wish the holes in the hair which hold the bandana were a little tighter to the head. These ones stick out pretty bad when the bandanna is not on.
Overall I really dig the figure. I remember a few years back being at Comic Con asking about the possibility of them doing a Hulk Hogan figure, they said they had the rights, just nothing to announce at the time. It's been a long wait, but it's worth it.

First figure of 2015 for me was the Defining Moments Hogan. Pretty happy with the figure too. Don't really like the look without his bandana, but w/e. It works.

Always interested in another Macho. Can't say for sure I'll buy it. I'll have to wait & see what the next look is that they do.

I'm really hoping for the gray tie too. Hopefully they find a little better way to pull it off than in the past. Haven't really liked any of the others so far, so much to the point that I'd pretty much rather it be part of the sculpted body.

I wouldn't really care what package/line that he came from, I just want an elite level articulation Big John Studd figure.

I'd pretty much be up for any of the WCW figures that have been mentioned here. But I'd really like for them to start putting a big WCW logo on the front of the packages. I know it's all "WWE" and they could still have the WWE logo on the package too. But if it's going to be WCW looks for the figures/characters, they should package them in WCW packages.

Really digging the Goldust. I might grab the Basic version to do the headswap too.

Rey is one of those figures for me, that I'd be interested in buying any variety of color changes. That's why I'm pretty much leaving it at the new WCW Cruiserweight with belt version, and calling it good. Other than that I'd go for a WCW version Mexican Flag themed outfit, Elite version obviously.
Any chance of seeing a Mock-up of that, without all the modern tattoos?

i like both photoshopped versions. Same hear. I like both versions better than the original. If repainting eyebrows wasn't such a tricky pain in the ass, I'd give it a shot myself to fix my own figure. But I'm afraid I'd just make it look worse.

I only ever saw the e23 macho a couple of times. And when I was seeing it on the shelves, I didn't even know about the difference in the belts at the time. Sad too, might have been enough to get me to pick one up, had I known. Oh well, not a super desired figure for me anyways.

jarvis19 - Cool Dean Ambrose. I'd give it a shot of Matte spray on the hair, unless they shiny "wet" look was what you were going for, but then I'd make it a tad darker color too. Looks like a great sculpting job though. And I've tried my hand at sculpting hair, and that's a brutal task. So great job at accomplishing the wild messy hair-do sculpt.

Thank you dude. I noticed that posts wouldn't count here in this section but that's fine because I was really wanting to figure out what was up with the trades, without littering up other sections asking the questions. Thanks again.

Brand new to the site here. Wasn't sure where to post this as I'm trying to not interfere with exiting topics.
I've been looking around and I don't seem to find any "Trading" section in the forums. Seems like something that should be going on here for sure, as pretty much every other action figure websites do.
Is there a Trading section somewhere here where people post their "Wants & Haves" lists for trading purposes? Is it not allowed on this site? Or am I just blind and missing it?

Doink looks like crap. They just painted his whole outfit onto regular "skin" torso. Paige is a decent looking figure, the NXT Title is a HUGE letdown. Hogan looks good but rubber, rubber rubber...seriously stop with the rubber accessories already. Everything else is an easy pass Personally I disagree on Doink as well as the use of rubber accessories.
I think Doink looks great, and the regular "skin" torso seems to be the most appropriate choice, as he would wear a full body unitard outfit. He wasn't ever really wearing an entire clown outfit with pants, or a shirt, and all the separate pieces that would need to be sculpted as individual parts. It was all printed on a 1 piece body suit. So it seems appropriate being done the way it was. Only thing I'd liked to have seen was the actual separate Jacket accessory.
As for rubber accessories, it's one of those ongoing never ending debates. Some people like soft goods, some people like rubber. Personally I feel that soft goods on these toys clashes big time with the look, opposed to how they can sculpt the soft rubber to be more form fitting and natural looking, and blend in with the actual plastic toy look. It seems like one of those issues where there's enough fans on each side of the fence, that I feel like they should continue to do both as a fair compromise. I would certainly never ask them to stop soft goods, as I know so many people like it. But at the same time, I'd be terribly upset if all we ever got moving forward was soft good shirts. So for what it's worth, one more opinion voiced "For" soft goods, and one more opinion voiced "Against" soft goods.

Really a bummer. But I can live with it, given this particular figure wouldn't be a Hogan "In Action" gear but rather Hogan "Casual" attire. But when it comes to figures of Hogan ready-to-wrestle, they'd better have more head sculpts with that bandana being removable.
For Paige, I'm not really into the modern characters very much, but I'm growing this addiction to collecting the belts. So a character that comes with 2 belts, I'm probably gonna pick up. And for what it's worth, yeah she looks like a great figure.
And rounding up my purchases for this wave, the obvious Doink. Never a favorite character of mine, but he's become a classic. Gotta have it. I would have tossed out all those extra wigs, to get a "Dink" figure though.

I'd be all for it, but honestly I'd want a few specific details to be there. 1 a WCW logo. WWE doesn't nearly enough embrace the fact that they bought & own WCW. They bought the company, market more stuff as WCW when it is. If they were to market a Hogan figure from the WCW era, I'd want the package to say WCW. And the shirt & bandana, just like in the picture. And 2 - I'm sure it's a bit much to hope for, but I'd prefer the belt to not have the WWE logo at the top, along with adding "Hulk Hogan" in the name area too.
Basically I'm all for any Hulk Hogan figures being made. But what's the difference between one red & yellow Hogan vs another, if they're not truly going to express that it's WCW Hulk?

I was able to get Defining Moments Hulk Hogan's MIB at $21.06 after tax & shipping. Cheapest deal I've been able to find.
Anyone wanting to trade? Is there a trading section around these forums?

I know, I can't wait to see Undertaker a little further along.
Kane looks awesome now. They fixed the mask which is outstanding looking. It was the very first thing I noticed when they revealed him in the "reverse" colors. I was like, "reverse, but his mask is normal? kinda defeats the purpose right?"
But now it's very cool. I can't wait to get him.

First time posting.
So with the new line ups - WWE Elite Collection Series #35 Triple H Earthquake
-Really wanting Earthquake. Can't wait for this one. -HHH I'm guessing it'll be a modern version (which I won't be interested in), though I'd really like something "Flashback" style. Not looking for DX, but something longhaired with a better face scan. I just don't think they've nailed it with HHH yet.
Elite 38 Flashback-WCW Macho Man Randy Savage Flash-APA Faarooq Flashback-APA Bradshaw
Very excited for this line up. -as for WCW Macho Man, I've been pretty excited for most of the Macho Man's so far. Only things I'm still really wanting is a red & black nWo version, and something with Green Attire with Hat, Jacket with fringes etc. I'm guessing this release could also be Macho from the end of WCW days, where Macho was all Jacked up and Huge. Though that's not a very iconic Macho Man for me, so I'd pass. Here's to hoping that whatever it is, it's something that comes with the WCW Championship. -Flashback Acolytes??? ...DAMN!!! I'm in. I can only hope that they use this opportunity to get the "classic" tag team belts released again. I'm not spending no $200+ to get those belts & figures. Really want Tully & Arn for 4 Horsemen as well, so get on re-releasing those two also. But the Acolytes, I can't wait.
WWE Figure Series #50 -nothing to see here.
WWE Figure Series #51 Stephanie McMahon Stone Cold Steve Austin
-Always excited to see new Stone Cold's. -Stephanie might be something I'll get. From what I understand, she's pretty picky about the head scans and how the finished product looks. So with that being the case, I have faith that this will turn out to be worth while.
WWE Figure Two-Packs Series #34 Animal / Hawk with 2 sets shoulder pads
-Already having Road Warriors, and now LOD in Elite versions, I don't think there's much that's going to get me on board here. 2 things could do it though, 1- L.O.D. with gold shoulder pads. And I'm talking metallic gold, like the elite style belts. Obviously along with gold shoulder pads, it would be necessary for them to have the classic tag team belts included. Only problem here is I'm guessing we wouldn't get "Elite" level belts, and they'd be a dull gold instead. I'd still be in though if the shoulder pads were done right. 2- Elite level "classic" tag team belts. Again, unlikely. But those are the only ways I'd bother buying another set of L.O.D. at this point. Nothing against them, I loved L.O.D. But I'm pretty happy with the 2 sets I've already got.
