I must be one of the few who feels that the Stephanie figure does not look like her.
I mean, hey it looks like a real life like female face. It looks great in that regard.
But I hardly see Stephanie in it at all. I get it a little in the chin & sort of from the cheeks. But overall, I'm surprised this was what it took to get an approval. I feel like other female characters have been better reflected by their figures. Sadly I even feel like the older Jakks version looked more like Stephanie.
I hope she loosens up on the approval of the face scans. Because different versions would be nice to see.

With the announcement of the Elite Hall Of Fame - Four Horsemen 4-pack, are there plans for any other Elite 4-packs (or multipacks) for other teams like nWo or DX?

I feel like the face needs a repaint. The eyes give off this sad puppy dog look. And at the forehead, sting didn't paint his face into his hair as far as I recall. There'd usually be this line of flesh tone between his hair and face paint. The way the figure is just kinda looks odd, after seeing it the other way for so long.
And yes, he does seem a bit short in the pic. But who knows. Things are always different in person.
Here's to hoping there's a Red & Black version right around the corner too, hopefully with a soft plastic/rubber Trench coat this time in order to allow everyone to have their choice of which to use. I know I'd buy 2 of that version just to get the additional rubber trench coat for this figure.
I know, I know.... "stop complaining. Everyone complains too much. The figure is perfect. etc. etc."
It's not complaining, it's constructive feedback. It's actually a helpful part of the process in developing figures. If everyone is always nodding approvingly from day one, the figures wouldn't turn out as good as they do. Trust me, the design team wants to hear what people like & don't like. It actually helps them. And believe me, I'm not just complaining for the sake of complaining. I actually care how the figures turn out. I'm trying to be helpful by voicing my opinions, just as everyone else does... good, bad, or otherwise.

Such cool stuff. So this is why we didn't get any good Toy Fair reveals. Lots of cool new things to look forward too. Particularly digging that Horsemen box set.

Pretty sad showing from mattel at toy fair, for the collectors end of things. That's short sighted. Not everyone who collects only collects what you collect. that's pretty short sighted, as I mentioned it was a sad showing for collectors end of things, not the entire showing as a whole. All in my original post, I was considering that they showed plenty of stuff outside my taste.

I dig it, I just don't think it's something I'm dying to have. I wish it had an IC belt. I'd be a little more inclined to pick it up then. I'll get it at some point I'm sure, if I can find the right deal.

I'm thinking it'd be super sweet if they start introducing flocking to simulate real body hair. Maybe just go full on rooted hair on the body of the figures from now on.
Honestly I don't mind the lightly painted body hair where needed, but some of the figures have gotten carried away. Has anyone tried lightening up the finished product? Razor is a prime example. Yes, I know the dude was hairy. But this figure's body hair just looks ridiculous. The brush strokes are too bold and thick. I think they should be thinner and a lighter shade. Or just do what was done for the beard, all over the stomach & chest.

I hear ya man. Just try to take it slow. You only have to buy the figure once. And then the pain is all over. Save up for those more expensive ones, and expect to pay top dollar for em. Then you'll win those auctions, and never have to hunt & hope for em to come around again at a good deal.

enh, other than a good quality scaled ring, I'm not terribly into the wrestling playsets. I guess other things to compliment the ring like Steel Cage, or Elimination Chamber, or Hell in a Cell would be cool. But all the entrance ramps, and backstage stuff, just not my thing.
But if they're getting kids to play with the stuff, I say go for it.
I remember when jakks was doing the thing with the chip in the foot, and the music would play on the ramp (or whatever it was), I really liked that. I think it would be cool if that technology was embedded into a display stand sold with each character (opposed to the foot of the character). Then when you run the display stand across the entrance ramp, you'd get "Catch Phrases" or intro music & what not.

I love the old kane outfits. I wish kane was in serial killer movies, while wearing those outfits. Instead of normie kane in See No Evil. Old kane was so much cooler.
I'm really digging this reverse Kane figure though. I can't wait to get it. It really looks like they nailed it this time.

Just got these guys in the mail. Pictures taken from my phone so sorry if they're not great quality.
I thought this was pretty cool. They fixed the missing paint under Kane's arm.
Also, Taker has some purple under his eyes which I didn't notice in the proto pictures. I gotta say, even missing the tie, these are two solid figures. The new design for Kane's mask really sticks out and looks 10x better than the basic version of this attire. If anyone wants comparison pictures or more of these two let me know.
glad to see they fixed that little armpit detail with Kane. And yes, of course we want to see some more pics. Both Kane and Taker please.

At first I was really looking forward to that taker. But in the end, I think there's just too many details that bother me about this figure. The face looks kinda fat, the beard just doesn't look right. Like it shouldn't have been painted so solid looking. The lack of a tie is a bummer. I think I'll just have to wait for the next attempt at the grey gloved undertaker. Oh well.

So cool. There's lots of Hasbros that I didn't even know were out there. And lots of Elites still that I would like to see, which Hasbro had done. Some I don't think we'll ever get. But there's still plenty to look forward to.

Diggin around on ebay and saw this massive lot of Warrior stuff for like 14grand. Noticed this figure within the lot. Dead center, with the pink attire - It's the Legends series 6 Ultimate Warrior, but in a different color scheme, with a White winged eagle belt. So I've looked around and my only conclusion is that this is probably a custom. But, does anyone know otherwise?

Tried to give to HHH WM 27 armour a metallic effect. Thoughts? A million times better than it looked in the first place. I like it.

I decided to put my X-Pac in more prefered attire.. Kinda wish that was the exact version that was made in the first place.
