If Ultimate Elites would just use the same Torso/Ab articulation as the regular elites, I'd say they would be a home run. The current body articulation looks like crap. It's stopped me from buying into this line. I picked up Ronda Rousey because works out fine for the female figures. But that articulation on all the rest of the male figures, just looks terrible.

Found a Billie yesterday and I have no clue where Peyton is suppose to show up. Been seeing tons of Peyton at Walmarts the past few days. Honestly I must have had like 8 opportunities to buy her in the past 3 days. Saw 2 of her on the shelf again today.

Hey thanks for the cool words guys. A few people asked to see the neck where I shaved some material off. Pic on the left is what it looks like after I shaved the neck down. The pic on the right, shows the area in yellow where I removed plastic material. I used an xacto knife, slowly with patience. I shaved off tiny bits at a time, so that I didn't gouge too deeply. It's such a small area, and such a tiny amount of plastic to remove, that I didn't want to use a dremel tool. I'm sure with the right bit, and a steady hand, one could pull it off. But I used an exacto knife. The pointy tip also helped a lot around the ears. Don't go too deep, there's very little material here. That area is very thin to begin with.

Don't normally get the modern characters. But I dig Drew McIntyre. So the figure was a bit of a disappointment when it comes to the wide head/face problem going on with the original. I also felt liek the head sat down way too low, giving him this super squatty, no-neck look. And the movement was also seriously limited to basically just swiveling side to side. So I shaved down the neck portion that is part of the head sculpt. Basically shaved down the area below his ear, and behind his beard. I stuffed the head socket with some plastic material to elevate the height of the head when I put it back on the neck post. And I gave the head a good heating, and squeezed the cheeks of his face tighter together, and cooled down the plastic. And this is what I ended up with. I'm much happier with the result. And now the head also moves as it always should have. Full range of movment, swivels, tilts, pivots, looks up and down.

I think that someone is intentionally trying to sabotage Double hinge knees here, just so they can stick with cheaper single hinge joints.
This Ronda Rousey would have been awesome of it weren't for those unsculpted lumps of clay they're calling her knees. Then you're gonna have everyone saying, "See, double hinge joints look terrible!" -Well Yeah... when you make em look that bad, sure. Marvel Legends has been doing an excellent job at it for years. Why is this so difficult for Mattel to do right?
The Ultimate Warrior figure looks rad. Who knows what's under those kneepads. But I guess, who cares. That's kind of always been the saving grace for mattel, is that they usually get to hide their terribly designed joints.
Just clean it up man. Both of these figures could be perfect. I really hope to see this Ultimate Elite line turn into what I've always wanted Elites to be. Hopefully these first 2 don't kill that chance.

...and sorry - but what the heck is going on here...? Is this Horse Rider Undertaker...? Come on, you know you want to say it. It's the new Milli Vanili Taker.

Double jointed knees and elbows! A dream come true, after all of this time. Only to be ruined by the ugly change in ab articulation.
Definitely do not like that ab articulation on the Warrior. Hopefully things get tightened up by the time it's released. Plus the joint where the upper body meets the stomach, man what a difference in size between the 2 parts. That does not look good.
I would dig all of the rest of the "Ultimate" figure, if it just had the old ab articulation.
I dig the extra heads & hands though. Pretty cool. We're getting a little closer to being on par with a Marvel Legends figure, but somehow it needs to cost $10 more.
Ronda Rousey looks great though. Can't wait for that one. Super eager to see what else comes down the line.

Heartbreak Hotel Shawn - Cool. But I'm probably not gonna bother with it though. Greaseball Razor - again cool. But not for me. Alundra Blayze with the old belt - Too cool. Getting her for sure. I'm gonna display mine with her holding a tiny trash can, on a WCW set. Another Doink, Seroiusly? Just make Dink instead please. EG Bobby Roode - I'm not too big on collecting modern characters, but I think I'm getting this one. Epic Moments Elite Kurt Angle, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Stephanie McMahon - I might just try to hunt down that Stephanie. Probably try to get my hands on the WCW invasion shirt too. WM 33 HHH - I dig it. I might get it. Elite 59 Flashback Kurt Angle (from WrestleMania XIX) - Need it! Elite 58 Mickie James - I'll get it, to replace the old one. Basic 85 Alexa Bliss - What is going on with that hair? I'd like to get the figure. But can't pull the trigger with the hair looking like that at the shoulders. I may be in for the Loyal Subjects vinyls - mainly the just the classics. Maybe a few of the modern guys.
Not really interested in anything else shown.
MATTEL - Can we please get a WCW Flashback Goldberg with the old WCW U.S. Championship? PLEASE!? (Preferably with both the US Title and the Heavyweight Title included. Make it a Defining Moments figure... It's a well deserved Defining Moment in wrestling history.)
I dig the Retro Women's Belt coming with Alundra Blayze. We need more old school belts like that. Mainly the hugely ignored WCW stuff. WCW Television Title, WCW Tag Belts, WCW US Belt

Enh, Jericho was never my favorite to begin with, but I would still like to get 1 good looking longhaired Jericho at some point. If this scan is a reuse or not, it doesn't really look like him.

I just picked one up today as a matter fact because all the local stores in my area got them. It's a little sad though to see that mattel jacked up the price by three dollars for a basic and yet they are only donating one dollar to the Make-A-Wish foundation Yep. Noticed that too. Donating $1 each, by raising the price at the same time. So they don't lose any money per figure, and they make a profit more than normal EVEN AFTER making the donation. Extra money in their pockets, all because it's a Make-A-Wish foundation figure. I could have handled a $1 price hike in order to offset their loss. But raising it even higher in order to profit even more than normal, that was the deal breaker.
Then they get the tax write off too. It just feels like someone's found a way to make additional money off the definite extra sales from a Make-A-Wish foundation figure.
After seeing the price jump on this figure, I decided to pass all together. I had originally planned to buy 3, one to keep, then 2 to donate to Toys For Tots.

As for the OP- Dunno how to check inventory on this, other than calling and asking.
But my Toysrus did have like 20 of him last time I was in.

Is everyone who wants this, finding it by now?
My Toysrus had quite a few still. They sold a some, then they restocked. Pretty sure there's 12 of him there now still.

Grabbed the ones I wanted tonight. Found at a Northern California Walmart here too.
Painted "Elite" belts... such a shame.
Seems like I found these guys pretty early on. Haven't seen much for them on ebay, or even here yet for that matter.
Oh yeah, grabbed the full case of the new die cast Volition too.

Nice collection. Damn, there's more Warrior figures than I'd realized.
What series are each figure from?
Pic 1: WrestleMania Heritage Basic and some Basic multi-pack Legends Series 4 Basic 56 Custom? Legends 6 & Elite Legends Series
Pic 2: Custom? Basic 29 Custom? Basic Then Forever Now Elite Hall of Fame
Pic 3: Basic Then Forever Now 2 Pack (w/ Sting) Basic Battle Pack (w/ Cena) & K-Mart single carded Basic Champions Defining Moments Elite Hall of Fame 2 Pack (w/ Papa Shango)
Pic 4: Elite 26 Defining Moments Create A Wrestler
Am I correct with the custom figures? And there's a Basic 2 Pack w/ Honky Tonka Man (just a recreation of Legends Series 4 but as a basic figure)
Are there any others not shown?
I think I'm only missing the blue WrestleMania Heritage Basic, and the Create A Wrestler from my collection.

Probably part of their doll line. crap! After looking at the silhouettes a little closer, I think you may be right.
The hair, different female hands than we usually see.
Initially I was super excited, but I'm so bummed now.

What area did you find him in? Northern California.
Just went today, there's still 6 there.
And he's available on the Toys R Us website too.

Made a rookie mistake today. Swapped the arms on my Elite 50 Rhyno, and the torso wouldn't go back together correctly. Had to boil the head to get the neck peg out so I could glue the torso together with just the peg, and then pop the head on after. Problem is, I went to do something else and forgot about my Rhyno head in a pot of boiling water that eventually boiled down to nothing. Huh, all things considered, I'd say it's still an improvement from the original. 😄

Something else would be preferable... pretty much anything else.
Chairs, weapons, belts, more ring entrance gear, pieces to build an announcers table, display stands modeled after different era logos (80's block letters, attitude era, network logo, wcw block letters, nWo logo, ecw logo, etc.), plastic or cloth backdrops for individual wrestlers or various pay per view events, bring back BAF managers & announcers...
I dunno, an additional small set of kneepads for when you don't want freakin Absolutely EVERYONE to have long kneepads!

I'd prefer only 1 maybe 2 flashbacks in a wave. Cause I don't buy the modern figures, and it's nice spending less each wave. But when you're dealing with a tag team they both need to be in the same wave.
But the idea of catering to the modern wrestlers... no, I don't think so.
My reason for only wanting 1 or 2 flashbacks per series is purely financial. If I could keep up with it, I'd have loved to see the Legends series continue on. I'd have flashbacks take up half of every wave. I'd bring back Entrance Greats, which would be almost entirely classic characters.
I don't think there's ever too many flashbacks. Just too much of a toll on my pocket.
