I went with the skinny body, so that it will match the elite Yeah me too. Plus I wanted more of a Bullet Club/Devitt look and he had slightly less mass then too. I was watching matches just thinking "He's not that big, but he's way more defined." Plus it was easier for me to just swap parts with E32 Bryan.

It's a weird body to get. He's more ripped than the skinny, but doesn't have as much mass as those Cody's. Either you give him a little too much or too little. It's like that skinny frame they make needs a version with more defined abs and pecs to nail it.

Smiling Macho. Getting kinda tired of the "stoic" aka BORED Macho. Wish the HOF one came with a different head.

I would buy their black AWA look in a second. Right?!? The black spiked legends are my current favorites but damn I'd love an AWA set.

do all basic lower legs work with elites? (I know that articulation will be lost) From the knees down, yes, and there's no articulation lost. The shin, or boots, whatever, are the same as elites. Heat them up real nice (I use blowdryer, be careful, if it's an insane dryer it can blister the factory clear sealant.) and pop them off and on. The difference in legs is crotch to boot/shoes/shins. The boots/shoes/shins/feet are the same.

What was macho mans jacket made of? Pleather or something. I have it, and like the figure, but (again, I know I'm the minority) it looks baggy and weird to me. Check earlier in the thread, though, and note MDT claim that stings tassels were smaller so they couldn't make them accurate w/fabric that would clear US safety standards and also they couldn't make the shoulder thingys that small. I wonder, for those who like them soft goods, if they could use plastic/rubber to make the shoulder tassle things, strap them onto a cloth jacket, and it'd look ok?

FTC... Figure Toy Company. The action figure company of a wrestling store that is super. Thanks. I think I'm gonna look for and try this jacket from the Toy Biz Rick Steiner. Seems in scale and looks pretty good, hope it works. I remember the Toy Biz figures not being way off from the Mattels size wise and even if it's snug, that works for Balor. What I'd really like is a NJPW Light Up jacket lol but I'll settle.

Any suggestions for a jacket for Balor that isn't too bulky/baggy? I feel the Hart one will be too big, looking for something more slim. I've just ordered one off eBay - it arrives on Thursday so will let you know what it looks like. I think it's an FTC one but no idea where it was originally from Cool thanks. FTC? Yeah I didn't think there was anything from WWE, but I was hoping something from another line would work.

I hope that Mattel still has time to change the boots. Just like they had time to change the beard on Razor Ramon. They said earlier in the thread that the first wave won't have fixed boots but then they will be corrected.

Razor and Hogan DMs didn't come with anything that wouldn't be in a regular elite. Some elites cane with more. Some elites literally come with 1 stupid thing and still cost $20 plus tax. Stop comparing all of this crap.
It's one thing to generally dislike it or find problems but the whole DM thing is it's own issue outside of this. To me. DMs are just elites that cost $5 more. Big whoop. As far as this figure is concerned, it's meaningless. If you want to get into value look at the HOF 4 Horsemen. $50 for 4 elites one with a vest. That's $12.50 a toy. That's a bargain even with no accessories since some $20 elites have nothing more than a vest or shirt. Then if you got that set on sale, geeze!
My point is, is there's all sorts of pricing discrepancies with all of the toys. In the end, is that figure something you want? Or want enough to grab before a possible sale? Maybe start a new thread complaining about the cost issues.
Back to this. Again, boots will be fixed go read MDTs post. As a fan of this era of Sting I'm happy. The face looks like Sting to me but is making an un Sting like face, kind of more of a Warrior expression. I'm still not bothered by it. I prefer the plastic jacket since I think soft goods look baggy and weird and it would not have the details.

I can't believe I'll be able to display a classic Sting next to a Savage, Hogan, Flair, Hart, Austin, HBK,'Taker etc all from the same line. Yup. Me too buddy! People can whine, or just accept it. I'm pumped.

Um, no. There's a trillion Warriors and Cenas. There's 3 elite Stings, the 2 DM and one Elite 39. Then like what, 2 basics?

I'm glad it's not a soft goods jacket but know I'm in the minority. Snarling is a bit weird, but whatever, gimme all the Stings pre-crow look.

Am I the only one who HATES the cloth jackets? They never look right, like they're 4 sizes too big, and just come off weird. I also don't pose my stuff so for me the plastic is fine. The one that really gets me is the Entrance Greats Taker, he didn't wear a leather coat then.
TL;DR I'm sure I'm in the minority. I generally dislike soft goods. They almost always look weird. These are toys, I'm good with plastic and rubber. I'm guessing similar to the RSC Hart.

I love the HOF line. I live near like 5 Targets so I can always jump around and find them (need Heenans though, grrrr) and I almost only collect Flashbacks. I also like that I don't NEED every figure from each HOF series so far. 1- Warrior, 2- Yoko and Hogan, 3- Macho King and Heenans. I think it's smart to mix up era's though. Gives it a good range and shows off the time line of WWE/WCW/NWA and the range.
Bring it on! If it were to cut down in any sense I'd say just go to 2 packs vs. 4 packs since I think ideas will run out. I mean I assume there will be some sort of DX and NWO set. After that I'm not sure what else they'd do for 4 packs as far as factions go. But I'm not paid to think of that, and I have faith those who are can be much more creative than I am.
