You should remake this poll without series 2. Series 2 was made up of 95% of the wrestlers who people made customs of for 20 years lol. After 2 I like series 1 and 9 the best. After I’d say series 5, 7, 6 and 8. 3 and 4 are my least favorite by far. Goldberg is the worst in the line, KO repaint, Rollins and Balor could have been better. Sami was done well. AJ and Flair were awesome. Dean’s figure made him look bigger than Goldberg lol.

A lot of retros in this weeks Ringside best sellers. Great sign for the line.

My area is flooded with series 7. The first 3 cases went quickly at all 4 of my local Walmart’s. The 4th case isn’t moving just yet. They shouldn’t have ordered a 4th case of series 7 and ordered series 8 instead.

Threads like this are a waste. Everybody has internet and eBay to check out what pricing goes for. Why come here to ask that. You have enough energy to create a thread asking this, but not enough to take the time to search yourself. there hasn’t been a Superman retro reigns on eBay without the red coverage sticker. Talk about a waste of energy...complaining about someone’s thread fits that bill...

Looks like they’re mostly going for $75-80 on the eBay sold listings. I’m talking about the one where the front of the card says Superman punch, not super punch.

Has anyone bought or sold one recently? Trying to see how much it would cost me to land one. Thank you.

Mark Bushey has a Andre Prototype and it didn’t bend at the waist. I guess that just means there is a different prototype out there...

This is definitely a much discussed topic and I always see a lot of people predicting or wishing for wrestlers that Hasbro already made. I love Bret and he’s one of my all time favorites but I’d personally rather have a mid card wrestler like Haku than another Bret since I already have 3 Bret’s in my Hasbro collection. Flair was one of the few wrestlers I was ok with them remaking since the original was so poor.

Does anyone have a complete list of current errors and variations within the Retro line? Loose and carded. Thank you!

I'm not sure who this line is even aimed at. some of the picks are just way off. I don't want a Hasbro NWO Macho Man. I'd prefer to have a Wrestlemania 7 Macho.. same with black & white Sting & Wolfpac Sting, why was Wolfpac Sting even a slot? The modern guys are what they are, I don't care about The New Day, but I can see why they're there. what purpose does 2000 Kurt Angle serve? that's out of place with a Hasbro collection and modern guys. I'll continue cherry picking the ones I want, but as it looks now, the only ones I'm getting any time soon are Iron Sheik, Goldust, and maybe Diesel. Maybe Diesel? Cant get much more Hasbro era than Diesel. He was about to get released before the line ended.

I don’t understand what those who are disappointed are looking for. What could they do differently on Orton? He has the perfect mold for the RKO, has tats and his black trunks. Does Goldust suck because he has knee pads? Joe looks fine to me. I see a lot of these retros being a lot like what Hasbro would have done. Of course they have had some misses, mostly by reusing molds that don’t fit exactly with the wrestler or poor action/mold decision in general but I mean come on...we have Hasbros again! It won’t last forever so enjoy...

Guys if we continue to compare quality of retros to Hasbros we will always be disappointed. Hasbro had 1 WWF line to worry about while Mattel has several. I’m just happy these are being produced. Braun is a new mold and hopefully we get several more new molds this year to add to the available options in regards to mixing and matching tops and bottoms. It's only natural to compare these to their source material... I understand but in regards to quality and attention paid to detail, they won’t measure up for the most part. Some are excellent though. It’s the wrestlers who don’t have elbows pads or knee pads or have different boots and so on will suffer with the reuse of parts/molds.

Always forget the rules on sharing this stuff. Please delete if this can’t be shared. Series 9? Series 10? how come when I do a search I don’t see them listed?

Don't think as many people will care in 30 years lol. This isn't like Greg Valentine when we all stared at those ads as kids. Not sure I agree. Lol. Since Enzo got released, I've been looking at that picture wondering if the figure will ever make it to the wild. No, I'm not an Enzo fan. Just love the idea that the Mattel Retros will officially have their own "holy grails." The variant Triple H figures, the Rock variants, now unreleased prototypes. Yep.. 30 years from now I'll still be looking at that picture. Maybe I'll be the only one. what is the Rocks variant?
