I'd imagine he's on the short list to be made relatively soon. The big name signings who have been fast tracked into the line have probably bumped back both midcard talent and managers/announcers. But they've been cranking through the roster at a pretty good pace, imo.

Steve, love what was shown and I'll echo that the RAW stage would be a must-have for me if made available.
I've really enjoyed the era specific lines - Best of Attitude Era, and now the RA line, even though it's an era I don't collect. What's the likelihood we could see something like that with WCW talent? Or is the licensor preference that sub-lines are WWE-branded?

Didn't she just have an Elite...? She was in Elite 92 Aka a wave that hasn't even hit retail yet. So I don't know why she should have another figure in the next few waves that were shown. She's heavily pushed. But her figures, and women in general, don't fly off the shelves.

I started with Hasbros. I think my parents bought me a Hulk Hogan around 92 or so. I had a decent little collection of whatever we came across in stores. I decided a few years back to try to fill in as much as I could of the figures I didn't have. I still have all of the ones from when I was a kid, though they're far from mint.
I started getting back into wrestling as the Monday Night Wars heated up, and jumped into Jakks around BCA series 5. Again it wasn't so much of a collection as just my favorite line of toys that I played with.
I wouldn't say I really started buying as a collector until I joined these boards and bought a couple of flashbacks figures on a whim - E39 Bulldog and the WM Basic Razor. It just seemed like a cool nostalgia thing, buying a way more advanced version of the old Hasbro figures I had as a kid. A few hundred figures later...
For me the 6/7in scale figures are the pinnacle of my daydreams as a kid. Sting, Hogan, Flair, Austin, Goldberg, The Rock, etc all in the same scale, same style, together in one collection. Figures were sort of my gateway to getting back into wrestling, so I enjoy having modern wrestlers in the same scale as well. And that just keeps growing as Jazwares, Chella, BossFight, and others continue to build out that roster. As others mentioned, it brings back a lot of great memories for me from childhood.
I started collecting Micro Brawlers a couple of years ago as well. Basically a pandemic boredom collection, since I was avoiding stores and hunting at the time. I love the scope of the line - legends, AEW, ROH, NJPW, Impact, MLW - and the cartoony style really resonated with me. The smaller size is also nice from a space standpoint.

Does anyone know when RVD wore that Green and Gray(black?) attire? Think he wore it often. I remember KOTR qualifying match vs eddie Guerrero Raw, June 10, 2002 There's a website that tracks gear history for a few different wrestlers. Looks like this one could technically fit into a few different time periods (and companies). crazytights.ovh/outfit/242/rob-van-dam-slalom

No FTIL legends, people complain. We get FTIL figures, people complain.
It's not my favorite lineup ever, but I'll definitely be buying all but Rey. I really don't have any complaints about the Legends line. They've done a good job of getting top names and niche characters in, given the limited names they have to work with.

This one is an easy pass for me. A new head or two and I'd probably have upgraded, but there's nothing here I want.

Not to be complaining but I just want regular sensational sherri attire. Not specific to one particular ppv which this and the last one have been. I just want one in a regular appearance gear for macho man and one in regular attire for hbk. Would look so much better in a display. Totally agree. In general, there have been way too many instances where Mattel goes for a one-off attire from one of the Big 4 PPVs, but skips the iconic attire that were worn regularly. I always go to the New Day. They made the the Dragon Ball Z and American flag gear, but we never got the neon green or light blue/pink attires that they literally wore for years while being one of the hottest acts in the company. Just so frustrating. There are some great and iconic one-offs. But it's rarely the first thing I think of for most wrestlers.

That Macho is amazing. And props to Mattel for including both shirts.

When was the last time Mattel had an unfinished proto on physical display like they did with Becky? Viscera and ABA Taker when they revealed the UE figures? That's the last I remember.

What the heck is up with the faces lately? The latest Steamboat and Eddie look ridiculously stretched and distorted.

You're assuming people are clothed. That seems...optimistic.

Well that's crap. Isn't there a set time for the reveals or are they going to be scattered out? Why are people taking the day off for this then? They can just look at crappy picture reveals at the end of the day. My excitement has gone now, knowing that there won't be a video. I feel you. Hopefully Sammy Robby can do a recap video with John the Wrestler and his wife where they have the funniest witty banter. One of the most honored reveal day traditions is seeing how long we can stand the fake banter before muting and scrolling for photos. It's the "how many licks to get to the center of a Tootsie pop" of wrestling figures.

You can't charge $250 for a Barbershop. You just can't, unless it comes with like 8 figures. They struggled selling a ring and entrance for that price without adding more to make the bundle worth it. I do wonder if done people actually know what these interview stages looked like and have gone back in the last few years and re-looked or are going from childhood memories which maybe made them out to be more than they were Essentially the stages / prop backgrounds they suggest are little more than the cardboard cut outs we got with that jakks series of rings with puppets pit and the Carlito one etc The Flashback series Heartbreak Hotel was perfect. Not a single thing I'd add or change. And it was a pack in with $20 figures, all of which I'd have gladly bought on their own. No reason they couldn't have done an awesome execution on Pipers Pit or the Barber Shop in the same way.

Any thoughts on the next brawler? They had a 1,2,3 kid item so I wonder if it could be him? Wasn’t there a previous brawler made but it got pulled from sale? Maybe that one? I would love it to be Waltman or Dusty. I'm really hoping it's not Dango. Dango seems like a lock for the auto since everyone else has either been included or is dead. X-Pac 2.0 or Dusty make sense to me.

Here's an unexpected one... A bit bare bones on the outfit (a trenchcoat or lanyard would have been nice) but cool that we're getting an ECW Paul E. Haven't bought any WWE pops in a while, but this is a must have. Here's to a Mattel version following it soon.

It should be a fun showing, but I'm keeping expectations realistic. There's no reason to think there has been much movement on what legends are available to Mattel.
But I think we'll see the Summerslam wave, Survivor Series (if continued), and some upcoming store exclusive Ultimates. Also expecting L16, which may have a FTIL figure since Steve said we'd see two this year. Bischoff or Molly Holly seem most likely there.
I'm really excited to see what else they show in the Superstars line. They've really won me over there so far.

I'm sure there were rumours - or a listing - in the last year or two that had a Texas Tornado figure in it... sadly, nothing came of it though. I think it's been around 4 years now, but there was a Kevin/Kerry HOF 2-pack listed on sell sheets. That would have been the second wave after the Wild Samoans and Warrior/Shango wave, but the line was cancelled. Kerry showed up in lineups for a HOC wave shortly after, and what was said to be a leaked factory sample circulated in his SummerSlam gear when he won the IC belt. It looked legit (not a custom) and was from an account that had showed quite a few samples. At this point it's anyone's guess if he's still under a deal. He had some Topps cards a couple of years ago, so was most likely still available after the HOC line got canned. It's total speculation, but I'm wondering if someone higher up at Mattel pulled the plug because of how he died. At one point I remember Bill saying Brian Christopher and Crash Holly were unlikely because they died by suicide.
