Mega maniacs cannot be new gen imo Agreed, I'd put that Beefcake on a Hogan era shelf. Ultimate Maniacs and Papa Shango probably would be better suited on a Hogan era shelf, too. Well, I think the era is more important than what era the wrestler was on top. For example, if you have a 2002 "Hulk Still Rules" figure would you not have him in the Ruthless Aggression set? Know what I mean?

Good to see everyone sharing their customs. I need to get round to doing Arn & Tully at some point if I’m going to complete an 88-94 ish era WWF. And really cool to see the progress with your 3D modelling Showbiz, I’m fascinated to see it play out. Me too. I'm basically building up somewhat of an inventory of sculpted heads while I wait for the 3D scanner. When that shows up, I'm scanning the body parts into Blender and will add modifications when I need to. I'd like to create silicone molds of my figs and parts so i could make resin copies of each to go along with PLA (test shot plastic). Arn is a funny one as a Hasbro. Duggan is too bulky, but you dont want too slim of a waist either. He's basically my dad's friend that drinks cheap beer in those little foam coolers who helps work on that old Ford Bronco and tells dirty jokes in the driveway. So, Valentine lol. You'll need kneepads, though. Tully? Eh, probably go for the Martel and call it a day.

Daaaaaaaaaaamn! Hakushi is one of the figures that I wished we had gotten the most! Not because of his WWE run, but, because of his career in Japan. I mean, his feud with Bret Hart was good. When I'm finished detailing stand print it, I've got you on a free copy brother

That’s awesome. I saw that someone on Instagram had designed a basic Mattel retro styled body. It looked like it was pretty basic with just some open slots for the arms to fit into and for the torso to attach to the legs. It had a Mattel style head peg. I’d wished like heck someone were selling them as it would make the customizing game a little more affordable. Also being able to change arms/torsos without torso cracking would be a game changer for sure. Also the thought of seeing some cowboy boot legs like Windham or Dustin Rhodes or Magnum T.A. or Corino wore would be awesome! Keep up the great work! Your work is inspiring! Thanks, brother! I'm hoping that all things go well and I could really make a lot of things that Hasbro missed out on. I still have some fine detailing, but here is my Hasbro Hakushi:

Dang! That’s some fine digital rendering! Any chance you’d be tackling some arms/legs/torsos in the future? Absolutely. I'm waiting on a 3D scanner. It is in the way to the Creality warehouse now and the lady from there told me it will be shipped immediately. For now, I'm working on my 3D sculpting skills. I want to spend more time working on teeth and hair, as those are two of the more difficult areas. I'm a talented drawer, so I'm hoping that continues to translate into 3D sculpting skills. I have a ways to go, but spending time with it and working through the messes and bad days pay off. But, I want to take this customizing game to another level.

I'm just finishing the fine details on my Superstar Billy Graham Hasbro head. I havent decided how I want to slice the foundation. I'm thinking will sit on a slight tilt like the Bret figure.

That is really cool. Would love to learn how someday. Decided to start dipping my toes into the retro/hasbro custom fields too. Had an extra Cody head, and with AEW having their own figure line now, thought this was the right use. In general trying to save the hasbro's/retro's for older guys, but a few new ones for fun too. I've been focusing on improving my 3D modeling skills. I'm more of a drawing kind of guy, and sculpting anything has been something I've never tried, but I'm working on a Hasbro Harley Race head based on the Mattel scan. I'm working on his side profile now: That Cody looks really good! I'm excited that we have AEW parts to use now, too.

Man, that is SO cool! So how does the software work exactly? Can you upload photos into the software and kind of make a 3D model off of the pictures? So, basically you want to upload as many different angles of the object as you can. I could also use a 3D scanner to directly enter my own figures into the program. There is that webbing over your image and you create those red pins wherever you want to pull the webbing . You're basically tracing the facial features under it. Then you generate the pics into one 3D image and you smooth out the rough edges. I'm learning hair right now, and I want to pull my own out lol. What's cool is if you could only find, say, the right side of a head scan online, you could just create a copy and invert it so you will have a left side. But I'm soaking all this in. I'm on vacation for another week, so I'm hoping to have a basic handle on the software. So many decimal number settings and options, it could be overwhelming. Best way to go about it is strictly master one area at a time (i.e. hair). Just get the big things down, then learn the other bells and whistles. It really isnt that hard to do the basics. I couldn't put it down at night. I'm using Blender 2.8, Meshmixer, and Cura 4.6. They are all great programs that do different things, and most importantly, they're FREE. You'd have a blast with it. The possibilities are endless. I drink my coffee in the morning and scout projects I'd love to take on. I'll provide updates.

Great work, as always! I love that Butch Reed...I’ve got a 3D printer Butch head that I was gonna put on a rock retro body - but I love this one so much I might try that instead! The Hasbro is really all you need. The headband, glasses, the smug face. I'm spending a lot of my time on practicing using 3D modeling software. My 3D printer is still in the box, but I'd rather know how to make things before I have the printer going. It only makes sense. I've been working on that aborted Hasbro Undertaker head..

Another awesome set of customs. Do you display all of your customs once completed? If so, could we get a pic of your display? It's funny you said that. So, I was thinking about using PS to make the old Undertaker "Undertake Em All" ad, but with Big Evil. Then use all of my 2002 era figures. I basically finished the entire roster for that year outside of a lower card guy or two.

A couple of things I’m working on... Tito Santana Hitting his Flying Forearm on Bad News Brown The very early beginnings of an arena, starting with the ringside mat area Holy cow! Terrific work! What are you going to use for audience? I know Retrostars used old Hasbros painted dark grey. That could get pricey, though! Awesome Tito. I have a Mattel Santana, but I have to modify the head. He looks like an ostrich on the Orton figure lol
