I haven't since high school. With the articulation of the BCAs at the time, and even of today, you're not going to do moves with 100% accuracy. In the LJN & Hasbro days, you were young enough to have the imagination required, to make having a match work. Now, I can't get past the fact that I'm just slamming two pieces of plastic together. If I have a kid who wants to collect loose for play purposes, great, I'll encourage them. In fact, I have a huge tin of my old loose figures, just for that purpose. As for me, I'm keeping my collection MOC. If I want to play/simulate, I have EWR and WWE 2K14.

Is your birthday on the 25th? Mine too. Have a great time, man. Mine is actually the 26th. But it's cool to hear someone around here has one so close to mine. We are doing the concert the night before and the night of my birthday, a party with friends and family, pizza buffet, "adult beverages" and live music. Hope you enjoy yours. It's the big 3-0 for me. It'll be the big 3-5 for me. My fiance turns 34 two days earlier. We'll celebrate together. Dinner, gifts, the usual. Have fun and enjoy your 30th!

Last saw Merle Haggard in October. Absolutely great show. It's amazing to think about how old he is. His voice is still so great and he's working on two or three new albums. Next up is on the 25th. I'll be seeing Jake Owen for my birthday with my girlfriend. Is your birthday on the 25th? Mine too. Have a great time, man.

I was in Miami when they launched this little group, right in the lower bowl, facing the hard camera. Kofi & Big E had just lost the match, and all of a sudden, Woods - in seemingly a new character - appears out of nowhere. Both in person and later on TV, I couldn't help thinking "I am/was there and relatively close, and I have no idea how he got into that ring." Weird.

I just have to ask... What training program were the Natural Disasters on? They look downright svelte!
Seriously... My favorite is your Ringmaster.

Contemplating a 1990 WWF diary starting at WM VI. As DTP. can attest, I've done a metric sh-t ton of long term booking for it and what I've got planned is a big departure from what went down in 1990 and even into 1991. Yes, please do it!

Funnily enough, if they make a huge deal about this, I could see 2K delaying the release of the game, just so they can delete the Punk-Cena rivalry from the game mode.

The original GAH is one of my very favorite shows. When I was 7, I would catch the tail end of the syndicated episodes each week, while waiting for WWF wrestling to come on afterward. 17 or so years later, I collected the seasons on DVD, and Ralph has since become my favorite superhero. Robert Culp as Bill Maxwell is my favorite TV character ever.
I got tired of waiting for them to make a movie, and finally realized that any sort of reboot would tarnish the charm of the original. I don't know what to think. I'm afraid it'll get to the point where it will just be known as a crappy FOX comedy, and no younger generations will know of the original. Hopefully, the new show will burn out long before I have kids, so when I raise them, Ralph will be the only Greatest American Hero they know of.

Nice! There's a movie theater near me that's showing it too, & I've thought about going too. It's worth it, especially if you've only seen it on home video.

Last night, my fiance took me to the 30th anniversary re-release of Ghostbusters. It's my favorite movie. I was four years old in 1984, so I never saw it in the theater until now. I have to say, I enjoyed watching something I knew I enjoyed in its original quality, over something that gets rebooted once a decade.

City of New York vs. Homer Simpson The Old Man and Lisa
I have the two seasons with those episodes on DVD, just so I could watch those two uncut (I hadn't seen the full Bret Hart scene since it was first run on FOX).

I'm pretty confident I made the right decision to take a pass on this one. Sure, there's Sting, but I don't do/pay for any online stuff, so redeeming a pre-order would be worthless. If I want to play as Sting, I have games dating back to the original Game Boy for that. I'm more of an old-school gamer really, which is why I'm content playing as all my favorites from childhood in 2K14, including the ready-made Piper recipe from the Creation Suite.

Yeah, you just didn't stay long enough. The scene is pretty geek centric and it really appeals to an older demographic, so 80's babies and older. The easter egg is pretty cool, but again, geek centric imo. I know a lot of fans were disappointed but I laughed liked an idiot. Did it have to do with another anthropomorphic animal?

I just binge watched the whole season. Three words... 'Arthur' on acid.
Also, Todd is like a cross between Jesse Pinkman and Ed Grimley.

I'm scared of driving. I have my license, but I'm only comfortable behind the wheel when I know exactly where I'm going.
I was lucky enough to be Assistant Contributing Editor for World Of Wrestling magazine. Another poster was accurate in saying that the "wrestling journalism" days of magazine positions are pretty much over. If such a position exists, I hope you find it one day.
As far as the driving situation, I say have someone teach you that has the patience enough to help you conquer whatever fears you have. For me, that person was my dad. I didn't see that at the time, but today, I'm thankful.
