We actually already have a SB poster, match graphics and accompanying videos. Thanks, though. Curious as to what your theme was though. We have what now? Why does nobody tell me anything?

LIVE! From the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan! The Main Event!Shawn Malakai vs. ThunderTwo men long bound by blood, sweat, tears and friendship. Two men who have been the best of frends and the worst of enemies. Two men who have held each other up high when the rest of the world sought to tear them down. Now, just when these two men looked stronger than ever they imploded, Thunder first ‘betraying’ Malakai during the Scars & Stripes Battle Royal and then Malakai returning the favour by putting Thunder through the announce table. Since then tensions certainly haven’t thawed and the only thing that’s stopped things from simply exploding is that these two men haven’t had a real chance to go to war. That ends now on the order of new WFWF general manager Lila Sleater who has granted Malakai’s wish and made this blockbuster main event hot on the heels of announcing that they’ll be locked inside a steel cell as part of the Superbrawl World Heavyweight Championship match. There’s much more to this match than momentum, there’s two men who know each other better than anyone else and who are ready to use that knowledge to tear each other apart. Will both men even get to Superbrawl on the heels of this one?Six Man Tag Team ActionTrace Demon, Slanted & Enchanted vs. Cam Nitta, Andrew Carter & Mason DixonIf there’s one thing Trace Demon isn’t overly fond of it’s teaming with other people, so how does new general manager Lila Sleater make it very clear that she’s the boss around here now? Simple, force Trace Demon to team not with one person, but with two. And this isn’t just any two but rather the craziest duo you could think of, the unpredictable Slanted and Enchanted who probably know all about Trace Demon from their mutual ‘ally’ Penny Shannon. On the other side of the ring stands Cam Nitta who is still seeking revenge on Slanted and Enchanted for what they did to Mak Cross at the Scars & Stripes pay per view. This is his latest chance to do exactly that but whereas previously he had to go it alone tonight he’s got some backup in the form of Andrew Carter and Mason Dixon. The latest addition to the growing ranks of WFWF’s tag team division are .500 so far and they’ll be wanting to add a second victory to their résumé, especially with rumours flying around that Lila Sleater has a big tag team related announcement to make. All six competitors have something to gain but they’ll have to work together to do it, easier said than done for some.New School, Old School, Rat School, Blazed SchoolChase Landon vs. Yukio BlazeYukio Blaze has made himself another enemy. This time it’s none other than the former friendly neighbourhood Joe Bishop (who as you’ll see below is facing off with Landon’s rather unwilling tag team partner – continuity!). In recent weeks we’ve seen Bishop join forces with a man with an animal for a name so why not let Blaze face off with a man who’s best friend is literally an animal. Landon might not actually have Emile anymore so the big question is whether that’s going to make him even nuttier than before, because we all know that rats are excellent at keeping people in control, or if he’s about to fly right off the deep end. Now ahead of Yukio Blaze’s Superbrawl VIII match against Joe Bishop he’ll face off with another young, gothic-inspired competitor who also has a point to prove though we’re not entirely sure what that is. A victory for Blaze would see him riding high ahead of his clash with Joe Bishop in just a few shows time while Landon could make a huge impact by defeating a soon to be Hall of Famer. I mean there’s no pressure guys, just go out and have fun.Singles ActionJoe Bishop vs. Jayson GarrettFrom one gothic oddball to the next, Jayson Garrett just can’t seem to rid himself of the so called “weirdo’s” of the WFWF. Fresh off a loss alongside Chase Landon in last weeks main event Garrett will likely be pleased to get back to singles action but maybe less so when he finds out his opponent. Joe Bishop, long called a rising star of the WFWF and a former three time National Champion, has had enough of being stuck in the middle of the pack and has given himself over to Crow and his Nest. Last week we saw exactly what that means as, despite being on the losing end of a tag team match, it was made very clear that Bishop wants the same thing Crow wants, and that’s what’s best for the Nest. Now ahead of a Superbrawl match against the one and only Yukio Blaze Bishop will look the build momentum and impress his new leader against the Golden Boy of the WFWF. It’s Gold versus Black (what, black is the stereotypical gothic cult colour) and only one can keep their star rising while the other falls into the abyss.Big Guys Fighting = RatingsZMaster vs. DevilkillerLast week Devilkiller made a surprise return and came out on the winning end of a match with Dex in the process. The former National Champion was one of the hottest prospects in WFWF when he vanished but now that he’s back he’s looking to pick up where he left off but that is easier said than done when you’re second opponent upon your return is a living legend. ZMaster may have failed in his mission to defeat Reverend Shadow last week but he now has bigger things on his mind having been challenged to put his mask on the line at Supebrawl by none other than Dex meaning the masked behemoth will be looking for a big victory to gain back some momentum. Notably these are two of the biggest men on the WFWF roster right now and if we’ve learnt anything from our fellow wrestling promotions it’s that the bigger they are the faster they get pushed up the card without reason. But guess what! This is the WFWF and the only way to move on up is to win, be it by putting down the hot rookie or scalping the veteran.Opening ContestCrow vs. HendrixCrow is a dangerous man, no doubt about that, having come out on top in one of the most confusing tag team matches in Revolution history. But there’s no rest for the wicked, and Crow most definitely is that, as he’ll be facing off with a rather unknown quality in the form of the one named (like Prince, only not as awesome because it’s Prince) Hendrix. Last week Hendrix was meant to compete on the exclusive WFWF.COM pre show but that didn’t happen so we’re still waiting to find out what exactly he’s all about. One thing’s for certain is that this won’t be an easy challenge for the rookie because even though Crow is just as unproven inside the ring he’s damn creepy outside of it and with The Nest watching on he’ll be looking to continue his reign of terror upon the WFWF.WFWF.COM Pre Show!Pre Show Main Event! - As announced on SCWA.COM prior to the show tomorrow night’s main event will pit Chris Hammers, C.G. Gordo and Daz against each other in a triple threat match to crown Chaz Classic’s challenger for the title at The Clash.
- Chris Hammers got some momentum back after failing to pick up the SCWA World Championship in Canada with a victory over Jason Williams, but it certainly wasn’t easy. Both men came out of this one looking like stars and whatever the SCWA has planned for Jason Williams it’s matches like this that’ll make him credible as we get closer to it. Of course Hammers is a beast and he’s still gunning for the gold and you just knew the moment he locked that Guillotine in there was no coming back for Williams. Following the match Chris Hammers declared that no matter who he has to beat he will get his rematch with Chaz and he will take what is rightfully his – the SCWA World Championship.
- Eleric Krause made a successful debut with a decisive victory over Red Dragon. Krause is a beast in the ring and manhandled Dragon for lengthy periods of time and while Dragon, who is trying to etch out a singles career following Assassin’s injury, put up a fight he just couldn’t keep going, being put down by a spinning torture rack slam known as the Russian Revolution. Following the match Krause’s manager Isabelle Valentine made it clear that they weren’t here to play around and that she was taking Krause straight to the top. With Krause’s physique and talent in the ring coupled with Valentine being one of the best female talkers I’ve heard in recent years I wouldn’t doubt it.
- El Hierro Corazon came out on top in the clash of the young up and comers, overcoming Josh Bregar in a match let down by how green Bregar still is. Corazon can really fly about the ring when giving the chance and he’d be a star over in Mexico given the chance. Fans popped for the Falling Sky, it’s a pretty spectacular top turnbuckle corkscrew splash.
- Chicago’s Own had a less successful debut here tonight but then they were facing off with the new SCWA World Tag Team Champions and put up a big fight in the process. This was one of those matches where the veterans made the underdogs look so good that they immediately became credible. Reever and Draven are these two grungy kids with a mix of styles, Reever is the high flyer while Draven likes to wrestle but they proved here they can brawl as well. Fans popped when Reever nearly pinned Moxley only to fall about a minute later. Following the match Trace Demon and Jason Star appeared on the big screen and announced that they’re cashing in their rematch at The Clash, only to suddenly appear behind Moxley and Patton and send them packing from the ring. Big pop for the former champions, especially when Demon announced the rematch would be a street fight!
- In a non-title exhibition bout Chaz Classic and Jack Joseph put on one hell of a match and while it was Chaz who came out on top Joseph looked more credible than ever before even in defeat. Ever since shedding the X-Jack name Joseph has been on a roll and this felt like a reward for that and he certainly capitalised on that, putting up a hell of a fight and nearly getting the win a number of times. They played up Chaz being preoccupied with finding out who his next challenger would be tomorrow night which lead to him making a few mistakes that Joseph capitalised on to try and win. However Chaz managed to escape from the All the Way from San Diego and mounted a big comeback, eventually countering The JJJ and hitting the Remember That (which gets a bigger pop than any of Chaz’s lacklustre promo’s) to get the victory.
- In non-wrestling related events Ace Bennett and Kevin Hart met in the centre of the ring to talk about their upcoming SCWA International Championship rematch at The Clash. It was your traditional back and forth that was kept fairly succinct since neither of these two are particularly notable on the microphone. Hart claimed that Bennett can’t beat him because he’s not a real wrestler and Bennett ended up snapping and attacking Kevin Hart, hitting him with the Syracuse Drop on the outside and screaming that he is “The Real Wrestler”. Pretty intense swerve that basically resulted in a double turn that the crowd really bought into.
- Harry Carraway and Jake Richards basically had a repeat of their Montreal bout right down to the double count out finish but the Baltimore crowd didn’t really mind because these two once again put on one of the most realistic brawls I’ve ever seen in wrestling. Seriously it was more like something you’d see in a street brawl at times because these two are just big, bad guys and they know how to make it look real. Richards was split open by the time they got into the crowd but he kept fighting until they got counted out again before having to be split by just about the entire backstage team. Crowd loved it and we’re definitely getting a rematch down the line.
- At first glance Daniel Sinn and Duan Sanchez Jr. were a bit of an odd pairing but by the end everything made sense. LyNN and Matt Dangerous continue to rise and they’ve got to be waiting for the Three Kings / Demon & Star feud to run its course so they can get their shot at the titles, especially with the crowd getting behind how utterly nuts and violent they are. Here they had a real challenge and came out shining. Sanchez and Sinn looked like a solid pairing, Sinn’s charisma masked Sanchez’s lack of it, but then came the twist – Daniel Sinn nailing Sanchez with a kick to the groin that led to the Nightmare DDT from LyNN and the finish. The crowd weren’t all the surprised at the turn, Sinn’s always seemed like more a heel, but it still got a pop.
- If anyone ever tells you that Sam Kineval isn’t ready to headline just go ahead and show them tonight’s main event because he and Daz put on a match of the year candidate right here. Everyone knew it was going to be good right from the opening five minutes but I doubted anyone saw this turning into the back and forth classic it ended up being. Daz is one of the few who can legitimately sell Sam Kineval’s MMA style which meant he got to mix that in to his usual high flying technical fair which just added an extra layer to things. Daz continues to shine in the ring, he’s got the skills and the gimmick (lovable masked psycho) to go all the way, and his unorthodox style proved an easy match for the young upstart. In the end a Lee Kineval run in nearly did the job for Sam but Daz countered Perplexion and hit the Dazaster Driver for the victory. Following the match Daz was jumped by The Three Kings, Gordo trying to wear him down ahead of tomorrow, only for the third man in that contenders match Chris Hammers to make the save with a steel chair. Hammers ran the Kings off, including nailing Moxley with a chair shot to the head in the process, and ended up staring Daz down to end the show.

Like Joe said, you've got to realize that I am not Trace Demon the character and I'll let you in on a little secret, my name isn't even Trace Demon. Shocker I know. Everyone takes shots at other characters when they're writing their character and once again like Joe said Trace Demon the character is a dick so he does it quite often. I've been doing it for years now, right back to when I was taking shots at Al and D on a regular basis, and it's always been pretty obvious that what I write is not what I think. If it was then Yukio would have a serious beef with me at this point since I slander him basically in every piece but you can ask him and we've always been on good terms. The very same thing could be said about guys like Mike, Drakz and EBR and they're some of the guys I talk to pretty regularly.
You can go back years and you'll see that everyone does it, I've read pieces from guys like Al, D and Schneider (especially Schneider) and seen a lot of shots at me and you just brush them off because no matter how much reality seems to bleed into it it's still fiction at the end of the day. I take shots, insult and bad mouth just about everybody in my RP's but you can look back eight years since I first started and the only guy I've ever had any kind of bad blood with is Schneider and even that blew over after a while. If that doesn't tell you anything about me then nothing will.
You want to talk this out more then just shoot me a message and we'll chew the fat.

So after our discussion the other day I've been trying to pin point exactly what it is that I don't enjoy about your RP's because here's the thing, they're generally pretty good. They're well written, they've (usually) got a good mix of monologue and narrative and you're one of the best at tying everything back neatly to the fed. You're also a good writer but I think my problem is that you're kind of... I don't know, bland? I think that sounds a lot worse than I intend it to because it's probably not the right word, but I just feel like your RP's tend to be very straight forward, very simple, very formal. You don't seem to know how to balance drama, comedy and your own voice so it kind of all gets mixed together and then there's nothing unique coming out the other end. The dialogue especially tends to feel quite robotic with some comedy thrown in often out of a feeling that it needs to be there without blending in very well.
I'm hoping that made some sense because I struggled to find the right words. Like I said, your RP's are generally good, but they often don't do anything for me because there's no voice to it, it's just writing on a page and it's just there. It's something that'll take a lot of work to improve but I feel like you can manage it and come out the other side a much stronger writer.

Basically everything I wanted to say has already been covered so I'm just going to drive home one point - decide who Crow is meant to be. He can't be this sociopath cult leader one minute and the next playing video games and making jokes without at the very least referencing the absurdity of it all. I'm not telling you to make him one dimensional, I'm telling you to dig into a personality and develop it because right now Crow isn't really his own character, he's just whatever you feel like making him in the moment and it really doesn't work for me.

So I'm not going to take too much time giving feedback on this piece because you openly admitted that you weren't at all motivated while writing this. That showed in the scenes, they weren't the best I've seen from you but they were still entertaining enough and pushed forward The Nest angle you've got going on. On the other side of things the monologues were still very entertaining and you continue to show huge improvements with them even when you're not motivated. The fact is if you're putting out efforts like this when you've got no motivation then I'm hugely disappointed to see you go but I can't wait to see what you bring when you find that fire again.

I've always enjoyed your pieces, they've got a great layered narrative, they're entertaining to read and it's got that same psychological horror bubbling beneath the surface that always attracts me to fiction. But here's the thing, I've always felt like something is missing, like there's this piece of the puzzle that you've not found yet and that it's hampering my enjoyment of the piece. I've been trying to work it out and in this, and part one, I put my finger on it.
I've got no interest in Reverend Shadow the wrestler. I love the narrative to high hell but whenever you start bringing up your match or relate it to the WFWF I lose interest because it's never on the same level. In your last piece the scene with Scarlett didn't fit properly and it didn't have the same hook that the rest did and it was the same here with the Penny scene. It's not that they're not as well written, it's just that they don't have a real fit. I come out of the piece wanting more of the narrative but with absolutely no interest in your match or without any extra interest in the Revvie / Wayne feud. It's not really hampered you thus far but the moment you come up against someone who can do that within the narrative, and we've got a few guys great at that right now, I fear you might struggle.
Also, proof read, I keep spotting small little mistakes and it bugs me because the rest is so well written.

It's pretty simple but effective stuff so it's hard to really delve into it. I feel like as a single scene it was solid but that the entire piece could have really done with a bit of expanding, be it through this single scene or by adding in some outside the fed style context. A great monologue can be a winner in it's own right but a great monologue backed by some entertaining scenes can really drive home a RP.

Here's my problem with this one Dex, I liked the writing, I'm mildly interested in the content but I really don't know if it has any place here. I did this exact same thing when I first started out, the wrestler as a science experiment, and I got ripped for it by guys like Al and E because it was ludicrous and because while we're a fantasy fed we're still based in real life. I'd like to think I saved it somewhat with the drug addict hallucination retcon and if that's the route you're going down then in the long run it might pay off but in the short it's going to hurt you because I'm going to find it really difficult to take any of this seriously in a fed context.

Well first off welcome back, always happy to see an old face come back in without showing too much rust. Seems to me like you've still got the style down flat, I've not got to tell you about the basics of scene, monologues or any of that stuff which is great. But anything further than that... well I've got my reservations. You clearly know how to write and you've got a decent handle on the flow but there's something very bland about your style, nothing really pops. You throw in these random pieces of description like everyone needs to know what the characters are wearing when really that's the last thing you should be focusing on. Set the scene more, give us more emotion and if you want to use description then use it with the setting, not the outfits. Also spice up your dialogue, make it feel more human, Carter's dialogue literally made me cringe because it didn't sound like any kid I've ever met.
My best advice for you is to focus less on making your RP seem super polished (speaking of look out for missing words because that happens now and again) and more on making it feel like I'm reading about real people. That's one of the most important parts of a RP for me, if characters don't feel human then I'm just not interested.

I really enjoyed this, I've got to say. It wasn't the most traditional of pieces but it was a really cool way of blending monologue and scene. For a first piece I felt like I immediately knew the character through the personality that you displayed in the description and it did almost everything that it was meant to. It introduced the character, got us in his head and told us his motivations. Everything else that we need to know can come later. I do feel like you could of spoke a bit more about the match and that's something you'll have to incorporate when it comes to facing opponents that'll actually show up. As an introductory piece though it was everything it needed to be.

SCWA NEWS: Roster Changes, Assassin Update, Top Tier Events, More...- There will be some noticeable changes to the SCWA roster when the promotion returns following their Canadian tour after Trace Demon, who was recently appointed ‘active director’ of the SCWA by the SCWA board, decided to reinvigorate the company with several new additions while simultaneously cutting what he sees as dead weight. First off those released include the following: Anthony Arnott Cain Jackal Zeke Walker On the other side of the count the SCWA have signed up three new names who are all expected to debut when the SCWA returns from Canada: Kyle Reever (22) and Tyler Draven (24), otherwise known as Chicago’s Own, are a tag team who were trained by Trace Demon at his House of Hell training school a few years back and have been working the American independent scene for the past three years. They’re both high fliers with some technical know-how and could easily make a big impact in the tag team division. Eleric Krause (31), and his valet Isabelle Valentine (22), a Russian roughneck technician who has become a big name in Europe for his underground fight club inspired ring style. Krause is one of the big stars in Europe who hasn’t gotten a break on the American wrestling scene yet but he’s expected to make a big splash. Isabelle Valentine is your traditional hot valet with the added edge of being able to cut a dynamite promo. - LyNN and Matt Dangerous have been highly impressive during the Canadian tour and SCWA officials have taken note. The pair are scheduled for a big push in the oncoming months including a possible run at the SCWA World Tag Team Championships after the ongoing Three Kings / Daz, Trace Demon & Jason Star feud has run it’s course. - The SCWA have today officially announced that they will be running their first ‘top tier’ event in Newark, New Jersey on the 17th of October, just a month before their other big upcoming ‘top tier’ event, Best in the World (formerly known as ‘Top of the World’). The Newark show is being dubbed SCWA The Clash and from the sounds of things will be the biggest SCWA show to date with one match already having been announced as Daz will take on C.G. Gordo inside of a fifteen foot steel cage. Expect the show to be heavily hyped and for several big name matches to be announced over the next month. - Assassin, who took a bad bump on the last date of the Canadian tour, suffered a fractured shoulder as a result of the botched landing. He’s been confirmed as being out for two to four months as a result. No news on what they’ll do with Red Dragon during that time but there’s a good chance he’ll be getting a singles run to see how he does. - In what is quite big news over in Japan both Trace Demon and Jason Star have parted ways with Pro Wrestling NOAH in favour of their competition, New Japan Pro Wrestling. This is big news because the pair have been pushed higher and higher up the tag team division in NOAH since debuting at the start of the year and recently challenged Akitoshi Saito and Bison Smith for the GHC Tag Team Championships. The deal will have no bearing on their SCWA dates.
