Trump has openly advocated committing war crimes... Trying to justify supporting one candidate over the other by determining who is a better person isn't going to get you very far this year.

The man has nothing but intention to cause chaos, controversy and further divide. And Hillary does nothing but lie, pander and flip flop. That's the M.O. for both of them.

Comedy Central is showing "Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich" before The Daily Show while waiting for the DNC to wrap up. Might be even better than playing "Where My Country Gone?" while waiting for Trump to stop.

"Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing." Sounds like he's encouraging them to me. I don't think that was even the scariest thing he said. He said he'll look into letting Russia have Crimea. He seems like he's willing to let Putin do whatever Putin wants. Remember when Hitler was appeased? How did that end? Lol... When will liberals stop comparing right winged political leaders to Hitler? That isn't appeasement. Trump would simply not intervene in world affairs that aren't relating to the US. We would not go to war over bureaucratic foreign entanglements that only mean anything to the elite and corporate interests. We woud be on good terms with Russia; not to mention the Crimean people prefer Russia to living in Ukraine. Putin is a power hungry dictator like Hitler. You can't give them an inch or else they will exploit it. You let Putin just take Crimea and tell the world you might not defend your NATO allies, you're giving him an open invitation to take more and more. Do you really believe we can avoid war when Putin starts invading more countries?

Nobody knows more about espionage than I do. Believe me I've got very good spies, just the best spies. Way better than Obama's spies, you wouldn't believe.

Of course Trump supporters find no wrong about his Russia comments and they're trying to save face by saying he joked. Some things you don't joke about. Trump has already told his supporters exactly everything they ever wanted to hear so when he says these ridiculous things no other candidate would even think about they desperately come up with anything to justify it.

I think people should think about getting third party candidates in local governments, state governments, and Congress before trying to snag the Presidency, The presidential election gives good exposure to them but if you want the Libertarians or the Greens or whoever to actually do something or even get elected you need to focus on the smaller elections first.

Why do people expect Bernie to pull a Ted Cruz? What does he or his movement have to gain from sinking Clinton? A Donald Trump presidency? Everyone already knew the DNC didn't want him and were working against him for months. As bad as they were emails shouldn't have surprised anyone. The DNC is awful and what they did was total bullsh*t. But he still succeeded in creating a movement and moving the party and the platform to the left. He understands that it's time to put the primaries to rest and do what's best for the movement and the country. I want third parties to be successful as much as anyone but this isn't going to be the year - Johnson or Stein aren't going to magically attract enough voters in the next three months. Not even if Bernie gave Hillary two middle fingers and supported Stein or ran himself. Sooner or later the left will have to realize Hillary is the best choice in 2016 and then focus on the future as we always talk about doing.

When did "tells it like it is" become the qualification to be president? Comedians "tell it like it is" so are they qualified too? For every other job in the world you apply for, you have to have experience for said job...except to be president. At my next job interview when they ask "What makes you think you'll be a good fit for this job?" I'm going to say "I tell it like it is." It's not even Trump's lack of experience that bothers me - it's his complete lack of understanding of both domestic and foreign policy. Not to mention all the awful things he's said over the years...

Kaine wasn't my personal first choice, but overall he's a reasonable pick for VP. Not surprised about this. I think it's pretty much been a given for the last week or so anyway.

I'm glad they're including Shiva. I was worried they'd cut her out of the show for being too "comic booky."
Trailer was what it was. What could they really even show? I saw some snippets of stuff from the comics, which is exciting. Negan in Alexandria is great stuff. I'm hoping they use the Hilltop and The Kingdom correctly. I want a lot of focus on Jesus this year, he's one of the best characters from the comics and it would be awful if they diminished his importance from the comics like Abraham and Tyrese before him. They better deliver a hell of a season after the ass blasting they gave us last time around.

I should probably clarify a bit, the Presidency is obviously extremely important and has a big effect on the nation and globe. But it's not the only thing to focus on like so many on the left (and in general really) seem to do. And for the record I think Hillary would probably make reasonable picks for the court. You're absolutely right until the last part. That's fine, that's nothing more than a matter of opinion. I'm no big fan of Hillary either but I don't think she'll be terrible. Generally I've been okay with Obama and if she's really just looking to continue what he was doing, I think I'll survive the next 4-8 years. Unless a tree falls on me or something.

I don't mind throwing a vote to Clinton (though I don't have to living in New York). The President isn't the end all be all. Speaking as a progressive, I think the plan should be focusing on keeping Trump out of office and putting the right people in local governments, state governments, and Congress. Then in another four or eight years, try putting a progressive in the White House again. Except for this election. New Justices will be nominated and those are appointed positions by the President. Extremely important. I should probably clarify a bit, the Presidency is obviously extremely important and has a big effect on the nation and globe. It's about global security. The strong military alliance of NATO where all the members have pledged to defend each other makes Europe, America, and the world safer. Putin must be licking his lips hearing the next possible president say that. Trump is out of his element when it comes to foreign policy. Putin has said if Hillary is elected then World War 3 is guaranteed. So we have that to look forward to. Are we really going to let Putin tell us who to vote for? Seeing as Trump seems okay with letting Putin run wild over there, I'm going to assume Putin is banking on Trump getting in over Clinton.

This man is unbelievably unfit to be President and would be a disaster on both a national and global scale. Why should Americans be sent to die to defend other countries? I bet John and Sue from Nebraska would be so proud that their son died defending the people of Latvia. We need to put America first and stop worrying about every conflict happening in the world.
