Cruz not endorsing Trump was fantastic. Republicans really know how to put on a good show if nothing else. I was starting to miss all these shenanigans from the primaries, but the RNC has been like one last hurrah.

I didn't even see anything about the proposal supporting sexual conversion therapy. The GOP has taken an absolute turn for the worse this year... and I thought they would try to make some actual changes after 2012. Nothing worries me more than a government that is fully controlled by this GOP.

Oh, well if they want to throw away their vote it's fine. It's a two-horse race and I'm afraid you've got to vote for the lesser evil. This kind of thought process is what has allowed Republicans and Democrats to put forth arguably the two worst presidential nominees in US election history. So long as we have people buying into the "vote for the lesser evil" mantra, the two party system will continue and we'll be stuck with Hillary Clintons and Donald Trumps. I'll gladly waste my vote on a third party candidate. I live in New York so Hillary is pretty much bound to win here, so I'll probably throw my vote to Stein. I have a lot of problems with some Libertarian ideas, but I would like to see both her and Gary Johnson have a good showing this year.

I never said Bernie supporters should vote for Hillary. If Bernie supporters don't want to vote for her they should vote for Jill Stein. But not Trump if they actually care about the Progressive movement Bernie was trying to create. Oh, well if they want to throw away their vote it's fine. It's a two-horse race and I'm afraid you've got to vote for the lesser evil. The lesser of two evils for Progressives is Hillary. A government where Republicans control all three branches and Trump at the helm would be a disaster for progressives.

Anyone Bernie supporter jumping ship to Trump is not a true progressive and is probably just anti-establishment or anti-Hillary. I don't see how any legitimate progressive could vote for a guy who says climate change is a hoax created by the Chinese. The alternative is someone who covered up her husband's sex crimes, accidentally leaked classified information and is more importantly turning a blind eye to the very real threat that islamic beliefs has on the safety of US citizens. I never said Bernie supporters should vote for Hillary. If Bernie supporters don't want to vote for her they should vote for Jill Stein. But not Trump if they actually care about the Progressive movement Bernie was trying to create.

Any Bernie supporter who votes for Trump in November was never a true supporter to begin with. The two are so unlike each other that you'd have to do some serious mental gymnastics to rationalize your sudden 180. It baffling, and somewhat discouraging, that there are people who "felt the Bern," so to speak, during the entire duration of the primary who all of a sudden have a hankering for Trump. Anyone Bernie supporter jumping ship to Trump is not a true progressive and is probably just anti-establishment or anti-Hillary. I don't see how any legitimate progressive could vote for a guy who says climate change is a hoax created by the Chinese.

To this day I'm still shocked I've never been banned. I've gotten a few people banned, and those guys moved on. Considering some of the sketchy chit that's happened to me on here, it's nice to know that I was regarded high enough to just get a couple warning bars. It still throws me for a loop that RybackV1 with all his craziness (no offense Matt, we're still friends, but I call them like I see them) wasn't ever banned but Steven gets banned over a joke. I have absolutely broken the censors on here enough to get banned but somehow I'm still here

Bernie has been very clear from the start that he would back Clinton if he lost. A Trump presidency would be a disaster for Bernie and his movement. How would progressives get anything done in the future if Trump is the one who selects the next few Supreme Court justices?
