Hi all I read on a Facebook post yesterday that Meatybat had passed away. Firstly I do believe the source who told me and im shocked if honest if true. What a nice guy and someone who shared his collection with us all. He had some incredible Hasbro/galoob figures and he made collecting fun.
Just a touch of respect and my thoughts are with the family. RIP Meatybat

Heres a quick video I have made on the Mind of The Meanie set.
I'm very happy to have received a set. Great work from everyone involved.

I really enjoyed the Nick Aldis figure. good scale and really felt like a Hasbro. Cant wait for the other figures now.

How’s everyone It’s been a while since I posted here, I mean I used to live on this forum at one point. The stories, the stupid questions, daft photographs it was cool to be a part of. I hope you are all keeping safe and sane. Take care Kev

Im going yes. Its good to talk to like minded fans but the process are high. I look at as I only need to see a handful of guys to complete my bucket list as soon as its done, im done. £20 for an earl Hebner autograph is OTT in anyones books.

Lovely set up. Nice custom figures there mate. Where did you get the Paul bearer? Is it a custom? Cool video.

Use a trusted payment method (PayPal etc). Trust your gut instinct (if it doesn't seem legit, ask for opinions).

Shocking... He doesn't like the Big Bossman. What? Bossman was the man back in 92.

I’d love to see Retros return but have 4 figures per year, with easy available and of legends, managers and women. Looking back there was too much of the same.

Think how good this line could have been. Instead we were let down badly. Firstly no accessories was a major flop on there part. Then repurposing figures. Hasbro did it but it worked for them. No tag teams. No belts. Poor advertisement push. Did we see any? Not really. Finally the distribution was awful. Here in the UK it’s online based only. Every top shop should have been stocked to the ceiling. So we had a small glimpse of the toys we loved, but in reality it was a poor effort.

The one good thing about poor retro figures is the fact custom makers can use them for spare parts.

P1060317 by kevin williams, on Flickr So I recently purchased a job lot of action figures and noticed this warrior included. At first I was convinced it was a custom but after closer inspection I may by a long shop be wrong. The right arm is made up of a softer material and I'm unsure what action figure it has come from. It seems to fit in perfectly and it does a good job of imitating the original. I've included a video. Take a look. I ask because in the past I have found all sorts of odd action figures. 1 I remember was a M$M 2 which action operated the wrong way. Then a Hogan 12" with the Warrior voice chip was discovered. Thanks for having a look anyway. What's your thoughts?

Here’s my efforts for a “wwf Hasbro” book. It’s to be released through Amberley and it’s available for pre-order on their website and Amazon. Amberley are a well established company and I don’t want anyone’s investment, it’s an opportunity for you to buy it if you wish. It’s more of a “for the fans by the fans” type book and it covers some good details on the greatest figures ever made. Thanks Kev www.amberley-books.com/wrestling-action-figures-of-the-early-1990s.html
