Cote did NOT lose that fight. It should've been ruled a ing no-contest. That would've made much more sense to me. An immediate re-match is in order for Cote when he's ready and that's all there is to it. Nobody else should get a shot at Anderson Silva until there is a clear-cut winner between Cote/Silva first. It's only fair to both fighters. If Cote did lose that fight, it certainly wasn't because of Silva, that's for sure. And if you can call that a win for Silva, then that's one of the cheapest wins I have EVER seen. A total un-deserving win for Silva because he did NOT beat Patrick Cote.

im pissed KOS lost I'm not. LOL. ;D I couldn't ing be happier!! I hate that dick. ing clown-haired idiot. He got his ass handed to him and I loved it. Can't believe you bet $50 on that ing clown... What a waste of money... I feel so damn bad for Cote though. To me, that wasn't a win at all for Silva. He didn't beat Cote, so, to me, there was no clear-cut winner and Anderson did not win that fight regardless what they say. When he's healthy and ready, I hope they give Cote an immediate re-match because he proved he deserved it. I mean, the ONLY guy in UFC history to go to the 3rd round with Silva is enough of a reason to grant an immediate re-match as far as I'm concerned. A great PPV and I enjoyed it. You would agree he lost the first and second round though right? I mean basically all Patrick Cote has is his knockout ability. He didn't land anything big to Anderson. Anderson was landing beautiful combinations..a beautiful knee that seemed to daze Cote for a quick second. I would love to see a rematch though so that Silva can knockout Cote or submit him since I see people saying that Cote is a threat to Silva and that win didn't count for him and blah blah blah...The same thing people do with Yushin Okami.

A los is a loss. Cote lost... any other time the fight ends due to injury or doctor stoppage it counts for a loss. besides Anderson said he is looking for another 205 fight after this... Well, I hope he doesn't look to far into the Light-Heavyweight division because he did not beat Patrick Cote regardless what you or anyone else says. That's not a win. Certainly not to me anyway. And yeah, it sort of looked like Cote did walk off fine, but we all know he wasn't. Even if he wanted to continue, referee Herb Dean wouldn't have allowed it. Cote did try to shake it off, but he was way too injured to continue. I don't know, maybe he would've been if he had more time to rest, but we'll never know... Cote is no slouch and he proved it tonight. He lasted longer than Hendo, Franklin, Lutter, Leben and whoever else that got destroyed by Silva no later than the 2nd round. Sure, Anderson looked sharper and the better striker, but he didn't put Cote away like he did everyone else, did he?? No he ing didn't, so don't give me any of your crap. Cote has NOTHING to be ashamed of in this apparent "loss", if you can even call it that. He will be back and I will be picking him again. We don't know if Anderson could've put Cote away. It's possible, I'm not denying that, but as the same time, it's also possible Cote could've caught Silva and put him away. So, until there's a re-match, and a REAL ing winner by a KO or tapout, nobody won tonight's main event. A no-contest or a draw is what I'd call it.

Well you dont matter and neither does your opinion. Cote lost. He didnt win either round of 1 or 2 and got injured in 3. If they do rematch Silva will win no doubt. Even if Silva would not have put away Cote he would have won Uni decision. Oh and I can call it a loss. Believe me I can and will just as everyone else will...

No matter how long he lasted he still only lasted that long because he didnt go in and attack as Leben or Franklin or Hendo would have. e stayed back and tryed to use a gameplan that would have given him a decision loss to Silva. So either way he would have lost this fight...

I just have a feeling Cote would've eventually caught him and put him away. But that's just my opinion and that's as far as it goes. And someone says he didn't press the action...Well, would you or anyone else for that matter?? I highly ing doubt it. Cote was playing it safe, as anyone with a brain would. Especially when you are in there with such a deadly striker as Anderson Silva. Oh well...What's done is done...Silva "wins" by a fluke and Koscheck got his ing clown-haired-ass beat and nydream is out $50...LOL...What a putz..

Oy. I didn't do so well. Big ups to Dos Santos for beating the absolute dog crapout of Werdum. That was crazy. I can't believe Joe and Mike were saying (about Werdum), "Wow, this isn't the crazy awkward striker we saw in PRIDE. He is much more, more well developed now." To me, I saw the same awkward striker. He threw a lazy overhand right while propelling his face downward toward the ground. Or, right into an uppercut. The thing is, it wasn't a short uppercut. That was a ing Mortal Kombat uppercut. It was coming a mile away, and it seems that Werdum is the only one who didn't see it coming. I was also very entertained by Sherk/Griffin. It wasn't the wrestling stalemate I expected. Great, great fight.

And even if I did call Koscheck a "clown-haired idiot" to his face, what is he gonna do?? Turn around and hit me? Then, I'd turn around and sue his ass for everything he's worth and I'd have the last laugh. So, yeah, I probably would call him that to his face seeing as he couldn't do **** about it. Not if he's smart anyway...

Not many go without losing a match for long streaks. He will be back...

^ Well, that was a very cheap win and I wouldn't have paid you crapbecause he didn't win. Not by his own-doing anyway. A very, very, very cheap "win" for Anderson Silva to keep the belt...

Cotes did attack, however for the majority of the first round silva was feeling him out by the start of the second round silva got some good offense in, so its not like cotes was not trying to take it to silva, cotes also attempted several takedowns that were unsucessful and were reversed by silva it was pretty funny with cotes on the ground and silva just like get up come on and offers him a hand so he can get him up lol. a injury is a injury a tko is a tko if cotes cant go then he cant GO and its stoppage simple as that silva won this.

I didn't like how Cote lost, but a win is a win and a loss is a loss. He couldn't continue, so therefore, Silva wins by default.

Back on topic.....
I had fun at the show tonight. I was one of the few who was cheering for Sherk, & I don't get why? Because he doesn't like BJ or because of the whole suspension thing? All I know is that he looked like the Champion: Sean Sherk. This was my favorite fight of the night.
The crowd was hot for the most part, but I think were a little heated that there were not as many submissions or KOs.
The crowd was PISSED BEYOND BELIEF for the main event. It was enough that Anderson seemed to be playing with Cote & perhaps not taking the fight completely seriously. But the finish had the crowd hot, & its understandable. At first, I said, "I spent $250 for that main event?" but then I quickly realized a person's health was at risk.
I can see them coming back to Chicago with a stacked line up to make up for that finish. Granted, if the UFC comes back they will still sell out, but I think Dana will try & make it up to us.
I still had a fun time & met Mark Coleman after the show. He was walking by himself & it just seemed kinda random. My friends & I talked to him for about 2 minutes & he was a really cool guy.
