I'm so sick of this "OMGZ ALL DEY DO IS SIGN FORMA WWE TALENT" crap. Then why did you post the story, knowing full well that it was going to restart this argument?

Why wouldn't Jeff be in TNA? It's his fricken company.. Noone ever talks about the fact that - Kennedy - Mickie - MVP - Murdoch (when he was in WWE) - Bourne wrestled in TNA before? Also, out of 47ish talent only 18ish are from WWE/WCW/ECW. That's 29 people TNA "made". I'm so sick of this "OMGZ ALL DEY DO IS SIGN FORMA WWE TALENT" crap. Funny how you just mentioned guy who are in WWE, who were JOBBERS in TNA. Mentioning them makes the comment null and void.

But you have to admit; TNA was nothing without people like Angle, Sting, and Christian. Most of the people I know only know of SUMO Joe, and AJ because they watched due to Sting, Angle, and Christian.

Oh....NOW i know you guys are talking about., You are taking the piss, no? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I see both sides to this argument here. Yes, signing already established talent is has and always will be a tradition in wrestling. However, the problem is that TNA oftentimes do not push these home grown talent which they have to the same level as they do thier already established stars. I rarely watch TNA for this very reason. I recently watched Bound For Glory, which I understand is TNA's "Wrestlemania" equivelant (I get TNA PPVs free on my BT Vision Sports package in the UK, something I only recently discovered) and was absolutely spell bound by the opening X-Division steel cage-type match. Something I couldn't say about some of the more-hyped matches on the card featuring the so-called "bigger" stars.

Now, I'm a huge TNA mark, but what Terry Funk is saying is very true. Most of the ex-WWE superstars who come to TNA just jumped ship to stay in the big leagues. Therefore, they wouldn't become washed up. TNA is just like WCW when it comes to that. WCW, however, had a hard time making their own stars. But TNA has large roster of homegrown talent. But I am getting kinda sick of people thinking that TNA has signed too much vets. When actually, it's a smart business move.

what about the fact CM Punk, Umaga, Marcus Cor Von and R-truth used to wrestle in TNA TNA needs name value like Kurt and Booker T, to draw in more casual fans Punk wasn't nearly as special in TNA as he was in the Indy scene, let alone WWE. Umaga wrestling in WWE before he went to TNA. He was part of 3 Minute Warning. Who gives a **** about Marcus Cor Von? Ron Killings is fine, but he's already more popular in the WWE then he was in TNA. OMGZ ALL DEY DO IS SIGN FORMA WWE TALENT

John Cena, Batista, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Undertaker... all homegrown. That did the arguement for me.

Because other than Mickie, none of them spent more than a week or so in TNA. Also, 18 out of 47 is almost 40% and those 4 people out of like 60+ is less than 10%. Also, TNA may have 29 people who have never been in the WWE, but they haven't "made" anyone except Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.

TNA is like WWE's Graveyard. but look at the indies, they pass around all kinds of wrestlers back and forth. Chris hero wrestling in IWA i think, CZW, ROH, others.. WWE people back in the day left there and went to WCW, or a chain like ECW to WCW to WWE or WCW to ECW to WWE like Stone cold did. its just one big talent shift when they are fed up or fired, the wrestlers shift to the next company
