meh, then you could say WWF was WCW/ECW's graveyard. Throughout the years they got Jericho, Benoit, Saturn, Guerrero, Austin, Triple H, Malenko, Tazz, Tommy Dreamer, RVD, Booker T, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, DDP, Tajiri, Kidman, Al Snow, Flair, Bishoff, Goldberg, Steiner, Hawk, Animal, Dusty Rhodes, Undertaker, Faarooq, Kane, Big Show, Gregory Helms, Spike Dudley, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Rhyno, Lita, Sabu, Terry Funk, Mick Foley, Vader, Jerry Lynn, Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Jamie Noble, Jimmy Yang, Heyman, Raven, Candido, Dreamer... all from the top of my head.
who cares if they sign talents from other companies. As long as they don't WCWit and just push the old guys I don't see why it's a problem. As I said, some of the biggest guys in WWE were from WCW like Austin, Taker, Jericho etc...

The difference is this: Benoit, Saturn, Malenko, and Guerrero weren't washed up stars. Neither was Chris Jericho or The Big Show. They were young enough so WWE could mold them into stars. Guys like Akio, RVD , Dreamer, Paul Heyman, Billy Kidman, Booker T, etc... where all brought in only after Vince bought out WCW and ECW.

Dude, in the last four years TNA has pushed and established two main eventers... Joe and AJ. If anything, the term is "TNA it." Oh and WWE signs talent from other companies to build into profitable investments. TNA signs talent from other companies because they ARE profitable investments. Big difference...

ROH made him known. To companys like TNA? Sure. But, to wrestling fans that dont' follow the indies - TNA made him even more known.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Yeah, because causal fans aren't gonna know him from ROH.. they're gonna know him from TNA. If he wasnt the star he was in ROH, he wouldnt have stepped foot in TNA. ROH made him known. By your logic Hulk Hogan is an AWA guy. If you take a step up in the industry and become an even bigger success, you become a "guy" of whatever promotion you happen to be in. Samoa Joe is more well known with national television exposure (step up) and was TNA Champ (success), therefore he's a TNA guy. However in the grand scheme of things, guys like Kurt Angle, Booker T, and Christian will always be WWE guys because they are missing the "step up" component. I can only think of a handful of name talent WWE has signed that didn't become WWE guys... Goldberg, DDP, Scott Steiner... all WCW guys. I guess you could make an argument for Sabu still being an ECW guy since he didn't have the "success" component. However there are a few successful WWE guys that became more successful after leaving WWE... the Outsiders: Scott Hall and Kevin Nash spring to mind... and in my book would be considered WCW guys.

Why wouldn't Jeff be in TNA? It's his fricken company.. Noone ever talks about the fact that - Kennedy - Mickie - MVP - Murdoch (when he was in WWE) - Bourne wrestled in TNA before? Also, out of 47ish talent only 18ish are from WWE/WCW/ECW. That's 29 people TNA "made". I'm so sick of this "OMGZ ALL DEY DO IS SIGN FORMA WWE TALENT" crap. Don't forget CM Punk, he had a short stint in TNA as well.

I assure you, Flava Dave, i am not joking. This is only the second time I Have hear of this...Funk guy. I think...Wait a minute...You mean TERRY Funk? That guy from December to Dismember at WWE, the oldie guy who Edge speard his valet and then pin in that......Explict position? Oh....NOW i know you guys are talking about., NO. You MUST be taking the piss. You MUST. Terry Funk is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to have lived, he's right up there with Ric Flair and Harly Race (I'm assuming you know who they are). He's the biggest legend in hardcore wrestling too because when he got older and began to lose his abilty to pure wrestle he joined ECW and acted as a mentor there for almost all the young guys just as the company was getting off the ground in the 1990s. He came back for one night only at ECW One Night Stand 2006 where he tagged with Tommy Dreamer (with Dreamer's wife Beulah McGillicutty) against Mick Foley and Edge (with Lita) and lost. I'm shocked and appalled that you genuinely didn't know who he is.

Oh and also, I disagree with Funk on this one.
TNA acts as a fresh alternative for the already established guys and the fans. In my opinion, bringing in these big stars who's careers are winding down like Angle/Booker, is very cleverly used to launch the young guys like Eric Young, Consequences Creed and Petey Williams (and of course Joe and AJ).
I see the whole thing as passing the torch to be perfectly honest, like this whole MEM vs Young Lions thing, it's obvious they intend for this to be a whole passing-of-the-torch deal.
When Angle jumped from WWE to TNA he said in an interview that he did so because the WWE work schedule was taking it's toll on his body and that he was becoming addicted to pain killers. TNA is a place where wrestlers can go to not only make a name for themselves but also to give your career a little bit of a life-line so the WWE's work schedule doesn't cut your career shorter than it has to be.
Besides the point is it really doesn't matter whether you like the signings they make from each other, the point is it works so either stop moaning or stop watching.
I'm done.

I don't care for Funk but he has a point, that list is hella long!
But there are only two televised wrestling shows that a wrestler can go to and if they are fired from one then the other is the backup so I don't really care that much if tna gets wwes scraps. They were fired for a reason, although some should never have in the 1st place.
Most of the smart ones, christain and gail, are going back to the wwe. I am happy that they got better in tna but now they can really do well in wwe and have big time matches at WM and other big wwe ppvs.
