I believe parts of Twister were shot here. I also think that a movie called Cannibal Camp out, or something like that, was shot somewhere in South Oklahoma.
As for that Mall Cop movie. It looks funny, but a dumb funny. I really like Kevin James so I'll definitely check it out, but man, it kind of looks like a movie Larry The Cable Guy turned down and I'd really hate to see James go down that path.

There's a horror movie company that shoots films in the local area here all the time called ZP International. They've made a LOT of direct to DVD horror flicks.
Also, in the town I grew up in, the classic flick "Flim Flam Man" passed through the town for a few scenes. Now...this was WAY before my time. But still.

The first Evil Dead. They tore down the cabin before I got to visit it though. And the Jeff Daniels comedy "Super Sucker" was filmed in my cousin's hometown while I was staying with him. Terrible movie.

The same movie you said with Kevin James was shot at the Burlington mall which is only like, 15 mintues away from me.
Parts of Gone Baby Gone were shot at an ice skating rink like, 3 minutes away from me lol.
The Departed was shot pretty close to me.

The film Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale (directed by Michael Mann) was filmed in my town, a town that's 10 minutes away, and a few other towns around the same part of wisconsin where I live. very cool experience going to the set a few times watching some scenes being filmed. I was a foot or so away from johnny depp and was very close to meeting him and shaking his hand but there were too many people and i was being shoved all over the place. I never got the chance to meet Christian Bale as he was filming scenes in Madison at the capital building (i was out of town that day) so i never got the chance to see Christian Bale film scenes. but it was awesome seeing Marion Cottilard and Johnny Depp downtown in my hometown filming a scene.

Tons of movies filmed in Chicago, but Public Enemies was filmed only a good 15 minutes away from me in aurora, where I live about half an hour from Chicago.

I saw Kevin James at the VGAs promoting it, I think it may be an ok movie.
As for me, there are seven towns in my state that have film studios in them, and there have been a few movies filmed here like All the Real Girls, Being There, Blue Velvet, Bull Durham, A Walk to Remember, The Color Purple, Cabin Fever, Cape Fear, Children of the Corn, The Crow, Dawson's Creek, Dirty Dancing, Evil Dead 2, The Fugitive, The Green Mile, Hannibal, The Last of the Mohicans, Nell, One Tree Hill, Patch Adams (film), Shallow Hal, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Leatherheads, and 28 Days.
Yeah, thats from wikipedia, so what?
But overall, no, none in my town.

Whole thing shot 30 seconds from my house. Makes sense though because that's where the real thing was.

My sister actually snuck into the capital with a girl that worked there during some of the scenes they were shooting. They all hid behind a pillar and watched the whole thing going on. They were about 3 feet out of some of the shots.

A few scenes from Herbie:Fully Loaded were shot down the street oh, and a street near me was painted a bunch of bright colors for a scene in The Cat in the Hat.
