Traffic
Lost in Yonkers
Funny trivia facts. The airport scene in Rain Man was shot at the train station. Lost in Yonkers was shot in a local neighborhood called Ludlow that architecturally never progressed past the thirties. And I once bought drugs, back when I did them, from a dealer in front of the "dealer's apartment" in Traffic.

Tons of movies have been shot in Pittsburgh, most recently released is Zack and Miri Make A Porno. Kevin Smith and Seth Rogen ate at a place when they filmed here that's right next door to my house.
The movie that was filmed closest to me is 10th and Wolf. The diner scene was filmed at Tom's Diner which is about 4 blocks away from my house.

i was on the set of '21' while i was in film school, it was near harvard i believe, we were filming a going-green documentary.
my cousin was on the set for 'I Am Legend.' i was pretty jealous when she told me that.
also, in the mall where i work, Batista and MVP filmed an FYE commercial... has anyone seen that? cuz, i havent.
i was skateboarding in boston one day when Chocolate skateboards was shooting some big opening scene for their video. i came around a corner and my friend was like "MARC JOHNSON?!(pro skater)" and i remember looking over and seeing a mass of people and just thinking, 'lets go somewhere where we can actually skate...' we went back later when the kids were gone and met the skaters, and talked for a little bit, they were cool guys.
theres another one. cant remember...
edit: that one where The Rock plays a football player, i saw that being shot in a place i used to work.
also, theres been several movies shot around here that i wasnt physically there for.

www.imdb.com/title/tt0892899/I've never seen the movie, but I remember reading in the newspaper that it was filmed in Glasgow. Can't remember where in Glasgow however. Although they weren't filmed in my area, there have been numerous scenes in Harry Potter movies filmed in Scotland.

There was a scene from The Fast and The Furious where the two main character drive around some asian town and meet up with Johnny Tran if I remembered correctly. Yeah that was 15 minutes away from where I live.

In fact yes, just one month ago. Steven Poliakoff is directing and the preliminary title is 1969. David Tennant and Bill Nighly both have parts.

A bunch in my old town. I think we had part of a Sopranos episode, The Family Stones, some Woody Allen movies, and the train station scene at the end of Guess Who was filmed at the bottom of my old street. You could see my house if there wasn't trees in the way.

Problem Child was filmed around here... they used our local "Sports Town" ((I beleive these became oshman's down the road)) store for Big Ben's sports store. didn't get to be an extra or anything though. nowadays the store is a circuit city.
