Ken Kennedy defeating Kevin Throne to retain the ECW Heavyweight Championship makes perfect sense to me. Tyler Black getting blamed for botched interference which caused Kevin Thorne to lose was great. Eric Bischoff and Stephanie McMahon’s altercation was pretty good. I like C.M Punk’s promo and I wonder if he will win tonight. I was actually surprised to see Big Show win by disqualification and I wonder how this rivalry will continue. I like Vickie Guerrero hyping up Umaga. MVP defeating JBL makes a lot of sense and I think that is great booking. Umaga defeating Jeff Hardy is amazing and I love that he received a lot of heat. Edge returning to give Jeff Hardy a huge spear was amazing! The Undertaker versus Chris Jericho was a great contest and Chris Jericho winning was the right decision. I am actually pleased to see John Cena retain as I do not want Triple H or Batista near the WWE Championship. The Ironman match was great and C.M Punk winning 4-3 with 17 seconds remaining was amazing. I love C.M Punk as champion and I hope he has an amazing reign.

I must say that the graphics look amazing. You made Kennedy look very strong in that one.I'm glad he won and the end sequence was great. Wow great ending to the Battle Royal, glad James won, good choice. Big Show winning by DQ is fine as a loss would hurt both men. After reading the segment with Umaga and Vickie I think Jeff will lose. Great that MVP won as it gives him momentum going into his SS Title bout. Surprised that Umaga won but I like the dirty finish which could set up an Edge/Hardy feud. I was thinking Jericho would win so that The feud would continue. Nice dirty finish again. I already knew this result by accident but it was a great match anyway, glad Cena won. Here we go, the longest match on the card. OMG that was no doubt the best match youve ever written, awesome that Punk won and I hope he holds it for a while!
Im speechless,,What a PPV.

The Bash - Been looking forward to this one, Kev. Mr. Kennedy defeating Kevin Thorn to retain the ECW Championship makes sense. I wouldn't have minded a Kevin Thorn title reign but never mind. Happy to see Mickie James become the #1 Contender for the Women's Championship, one of the divas that did deserve it. Big Show over Shelton Benjamin made sense, although a win for Shelton might have been just what he needed to launch him. Glad to see MVP go over JBL. I hope you push MVP as much as you can. Fantastic to see Umaga go over Jeff Hardy. I am a huge Umaga fan and I hope you push him into Main Event. I'm shocked to see Chris Jericho defeat Undertaker, tbh. Would have thought the other way around, but very clever. John Cena retaining the WWE Championship is good as I wouldn't want Batista having the title and Triple H can wait a while. Wow, CM Punk defeats Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship. I don't know what to think to that one, but I sure you will make my mind up for me in the shows to come. Overall a really solid Pay Per View, well done. Can't wait to see these storylines advance.

Raw 7/27/09 Preview-Less than 24 hours ago, John Cena retained his WWE Championship against Triple H and Batista in a Triple Threat match. Cena now looks on to his next title defense, which will be at SummerSlam against Montel Vontavious Porter. Tonight, the SummerSlam opponents will team up to take on John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Triple H in tag team action. Can Cena and MVP co-exist just weeks before their huge clash? -Despite suffering a loss in the WWE Title match last night, Batista is still looking to get his hands on Triple H. Before he can get there though, he has a tough match signed for Raw. Batista will be going one on one with the leader of Legacy, Ted Dibiase Jr. Can Dibiase Jr. pick up the biggest win of his career possibly? Or will Batista take out some of his vengeance on the young stud? -Also, at last night's The Bash Pay-Per-View, Mickie James won a Battle Royal to become the number one contender to the Women's Championship. It's officially been announced that she will receive her shot at SummerSlam. But tonight, the champion, Katie Lea Burchill, will be in non-title action. Tune into the USA Network tonight at 9:00PM to catch of all this action and a lot more!

WWE Presents The Bash: Sunday 26th July 2009...Surprised to see the ECW Championship open things up on this show, as it was quite the entertaining encounter between Mr Kennedy and Kevin Thorn, though I think that Kennedy winning was the best decision. Please don't let Thorn slip back into the background, however. Also liked the interference from Gangrel, too. The divas battle royal was pretty much filler, wasn't anything too grand or special, but Mickie James winning is best in my opinion. Liked Natalya's reaction whereas Gail Kim was angered. Hmm, I personally don't like Shelton Benjamin and Big Show working a pay-per-view match with each other, I just fail to see any chemistry mixing, personally. Did like the disqualification finish though. Please let this be the start of Benjamin's road to the top of the SmackDown brand. Montel Vontavious Porter and John Bradshaw Layfield would of had a great match, the managers getting involved, Eve and Candice Michelle was brilliant and MVP will also hopefully end up ascending to the top of the RAW brand. Say, didn't Umaga and Jeff Hardy fight at Great American Bash 2007? I believe they did, haha. Umaga winning surprised me, but hopefully both men continue to reign in the main event area. A fantastic match between The Undertaker and Chris Jericho though I wish it had been saved for SummerSlam. If not, maybe a rematch would benefit SummerSlam well. Amazing triple threat match for the WWE Championship between John Cena, Batista and Triple H, but that would of been great as the main event. Awesome World Heavyweight Championship main event in an Ironman match between Randy Orton and CM Punk, but five stars I'd somehow doubt. It would also be pretty longing for the younger, more impatient audience. But nontheless, class show overall. Enjoyed it all around.

The Bash was a really good show Kevin, as usual. Happy to see Kennedy retain the ECW Championship but I hope Kevin Thorn gets a reign with the belt soon. Benjamin going over Big Show helps him alot and MVP getting the win over JBL is fantastic, please put the title on MVP at Summerslam. Umaga beating Jeff somewhat surprised me and I'd love to see him get used in the world title scene soon, maybe against CM Punk at Summerslam. Chris Jericho vs Undertaker was fantastic and the right man went over. The two world titles matches were also great reads, Punk winning the world title in such a legit way will help him out so much. Great show, Kev.

July 27th, 2009 The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia Attendance: 7,291
Raw opens with a video package showing John Cena retain the WWE Championship against Triple H and Batista in a Triple Threat match last night.Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw and they hype up tonight’s tag team main event, featuring MVP & John Cena on the same team just weeks before their big showdown at SummerSlam. They also promote Batista’s match with Ted Dibiase Jr.We are joined by the WWE Champion John Cena to open the broadcast. The Champ gets in the ring and begins to talk about his current reign as WWE Champion. He mentions that in each reign he has faced adversity and overcome it. He says that the deck would be stacked against him and he’d will his way to victory. He says that he’s faced many opponents who would use underhanded tactics and he’d man up and fight and claw to victory. But at this year’s SummerSlam, he won’t have any of those things going against him. The deck won’t be stacked against him and MVP doesn’t use underhanded tactics. He says that it’s a breath of fresh air to face somebody like that. This brings out MVP, who gets in the ring with Cena. He thanks him for recognizing that he fights fair but he reminds Cena that the WWE Title means more to him than anything in the world and he will do anything he can to win at SummerSlam. Cena respects that and tells him that he’s going to do the same, but they need to focus on tonight and co-existing. MVP tells him no worries and the two shake hands in the middle of the ring. Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Jayson Paul & Shad Gaspard w/ Candice Michelle vs. Tyler Reks & Johnny CurtisPaul and Gaspard continue to work as a well oiled machine. They’ve been much better since their heel turn and it showed here. They cut the ring in half and used frequent tags. Curtis eventually made the hot tag to Reks, but Gaspard put him away with a huge power bomb. Winners: Jayson Paul & Shad Gaspard (5:36) **We see Eric Bischoff in his office when a knock is head at the door. Batista barges in and demands to know when he’ll be allowed to get his hands on Triple H again. Bischoff tells him that he doesn’t demand anything from him because he calls the shots. He offers Batista a proposition. If Batista can defeat Ted Dibiase Jr. tonight, he’ll be granted one final match with Triple H at SummerSlam. Batista and the fans love the sound of this.Commercial Break. In the back, we see The Cabinet talking over strategy as all four male members will be in action tonight. JBL tells Jayson Paul & Shad Gaspard to make sure that they rid themselves of Tyler Reks and Johnny Curtis. He turns his attention to Ryan Braddock and tells him that he begins his push towards the Intercontinental Title tonight. He wants Braddock to dethrone Evan Bourne in the near future, but he needs him to go to the ring now.Singles Match R-Truth vs. Ryan Braddock w/ Candice MichelleThese two met on Raw right after Braddock joined The Cabinet and he picked up the win due to help from Candice on that night. Tonight, was more of the same as again, Truth was close to securing the victory, when Candice distracted the ref. That allowed Braddock to low blow Truth and put him away with a Lariat. Winner: Ryan Braddock (5:09) **After the match the Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne is shown watching on a monitor.Commercial Break.Again, we return to see Eric Bischoff in his office, when Triple H barges in. He is livid that Batista could possible get another match with him at SummerSlam. Bischoff said he understands why HHH would be mad, so he’s going to even the playing field a little. If Batista does get his match, then Triple H gets to choose the stipulation. Triple H seems a little happier with this and he walks away.
A commercial is shown for SummerSlam, which is just four weeks away. The announcers hype up the only two matches that are already booked for the show, which include Katie Lea Burchill defending the Women’s Championship against Mickie James and John Cena defending the WWE Championship against MVP!Commercial Break.
Singles Match; If Batista Wins he Gets to Face Triple H at SummerSlam Batista vs. Ted Dibiase Jr. w/ World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Joe HenningTo most people’s surprise, Dibiase did not get squashed here. Far from it actually, as he held his own against the big man. Dibiase worked over his leg and even locked in a step over toe hold. He continued to work the leg until Batista took over. The Animal wasted no time in dominating as after a flurry of offense down the stretch, he picked up the win with the Batista Bomb. Winner: Batista (8:28) **¾The Animal celebrated along with the crowd, but that was cut short when Triple H ran in and attacked him from behind. The Cerebral Assassin assaulted Batista and then got his sledgehammer from under the ring. He waited for him to get up and he nailed him with a shot in the face. Triple H grabbed a microphone and announced that their match at SummerSlam would be a Street Fight, because he doesn’t want to just beat Batista again, he wants to hurt him. Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match Women’s Champion Katie Lea Burchill w/ Layla London vs. Kelly KellyAs one would expect, Katie Lea pretty much dominated this match as this was used to showcase her ability as champ. Mickie James was on commentary and Katie seemed to stare at her every time she would hit an offensive maneuver. After a few minutes, Katie put Kelly away with the Hair-Pull back breaker, otherwise known as the Kat Nap. Winner: Women’s Champion Katie Lea Burchill (4:41) *¾Katie Lea stared down Mickie as we cut to the back where Josh Matthews is standing by with Kaval. He asks Kaval what’s next for him since he seems to be done with the British Alliance. Kaval, in his usual akward tone, said that his next step is to claim Intercontinental Championship gold.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match John “Bradshaw” Layfield & Triple H vs. WWE Champion John Cena & MVP w/ EveThis turned out to be a very solid tag team encounter. What surprised most people was that HHH and JBL took control of Cena, not MVP, and worked him over throughout the match. Eventually, he was forced to make the hot tag and MVP came in firing. He nailed both of his opponents with his signature spots. He set up JBL for the Playmaker, but HHH went to attack him from behind. Cena ran in and went for HHH, but missed and hit MVP. Cena turned quickly and knocked HHH out of the ring. He turned around and MVP was in his face, arguing about Cena hitting him. HHH pulled Cena out of the ring and MVP turned right into a Clothesline from Hell to end it. Winners: JBL & Triple H (10:27) ***After the match, MVP and Cena resumed their argument and continued to argue as the show went off the air.© WWE 2009

- Great opening segment, MVP v Cena will be great. - Glad The Cabinent went over as they were superior team. - Poor R-Truth, I hope you do something with him. Braddock going over is cool. - Tripe H in charge.... expecting a hiac. - Batista winning is the right choice and a Street fight should be ace. - Glad Katie went over, she should get a lengthy reign. - Nice main, with the heels winning and I like the ending.
Awesome show, sorry for the lackluster reply im tired. Keep it up.

RAW was a solid show, Kev. The opening segment was great, and I'm glad that The Cabinet went over. Braddock winning sucks. R-Truth is way better than him. Batista winning was expected. The same goes for the Kelly Kelly and Katie Lea match. Kaval in the Intercontinental Title hunt is great. Main event was sweet and star power galore. Nice to see the heels win.

RAW - Cena vs. MVP at SummerSlam is a good fresh match which i'm looking forward too, i was kinda hoping Cena was going to attack MVP in that opening segment hehe. Paul and Gaspard seem like a dominant force. Batista should crush DiBiase. Hmmm thought R-Truth would beat Braddock. Street Fight sounds good for Batista vs. Triple H, never been a fan of The Animal though so i hope HHH goes over. Shocked at Cena and MVP losing, i'm thinking you'll give MVP the title at SS.

ECW 7/28/09 Preview-Last month at Night of Champions, Mr. Kennedy finally dethroned Elijah Burke for the ECW Championship. Two nights ago, he retained it against Kevin Thorn at The Bash. Tonight though, Burke has evoked his rematch clause. Burke beat Kennedy the first two times they met, while Kennedy took home their last battle. Can Burke regain the Championship he feels is rightfully his? Or will Kennedy stay hot and continue to roll through ECW? -Last week, Tyler Black defied his Broodmates when he won a Scramble Match to become the number one contender for the Television Championship. Despite Thorn, Gangrel & Hade Vansen being upset with him because he took victory from Vansen's hands, he gets his shot tonight. Will the Brood be by his side? Will Black have to run alone like a lone wolf? Can he pick up the biggest win of his career? Or will Gavin Spears pass the one month mark as Champ? -Over the past few weeks, Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson have been at each other's throats. Tonight, we will witness these two mammoths step in the ring against each other in one on one action. Plus, after he blindsided Matt Hardy last week, the "All-American American", Jack Swagger will do battle with the former ECW Champion tonight! Tune into the Sci-Fi Network for all of this and more, tonight at 9:00PM!

July 30th, 2009 Edition-The WWE have come to terms with the contracts of DJ Gabriel, Santino Marella & Hardcore Holly. They wish them the best in his future endeavors. -Expect CM Punk to recieve a long World Title run this time around, although plans could change depending on crowd reaction. -The WWE feels like they've done a great job of making new stars in 2009. Punk, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Jack Swagger, Ezekiel Jackson, Kevin Thorn, Elijah Burke & Ted Dibiase Jr. are all either recieving pushes or expected to in the second half of the year. -Lastly, the tag team division has been given a boost lately. The New Hart Foundation, Legacy, Jayson Paul & Shad Gaspard, Tyler Reks & Johnny Curtis, The Second City Saints, Finlay & Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler & The Miz, The Technicians, The British Alliance, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder and The Colons make up one of the WWE's strongest tag divisions ever.

WWE RAW: Monday 27th July 2009...Alright, nice opening promo to kick off RAW tonight, it's a really interesting situation as to where you're going to go with the WWE Championship storyline, heading into SummerSlam, as John Cena and Montel Vontavious Porter are both faces. Hopefully MVP takes a heel route. And hopefully takes the title. Right now is the time MVP needs to be pushed as he's in his mid-thirties, now or or it'll be too late. Win for Jayson Paul and Shad Gaspard is fine, but really not too big on Tyler Reks and Johnny Curtis. Was a weak opening contest and did next to nothing, other than introduce another team, which I suppose is the up-side. Two matches involving the Cabinet members, back to back? Candice Michelle must of been knackered. Ryan Braddock beating R-Truth is okay. R-Truth is really beyond repair in WWE now. He could of gotten somewhere, but when he came to RAW, he was doomed. Batista beating Ted Dibiase is okay, seemed like a fairly decent match, and I liked the stipulation with Triple H in there too. Please push Dibiase. He can get extremely over as the leader of Legacy. Batista had to win this one though, and it should be good at SummerSlam when Batista and Triple H fight. Good first-hour main event. Katie-Lea Burchill beating Kelly Kelly is okay, filler match really and got the WWE Womens Champion over fairly well. And a solid tag team main event to save what was a mediocre show this week. What happened, man? It just seems like you blew out when you decided to half the detail; not only the detail, but the booking aswell. The highlights was Dibiase/Batista and the tag main event, but everything else was just pretty weak. Also, thinking with the time length of each match, combined, I get thirty-three minutes of in-ring action. I think you could of had one more match in there with Kaval or something, and maybe another promo. I understand if you're running out of ideas, though man. I get that sometimes. I still love this diary, and I don't mean to be so strict and Nazi-like. I'm just pointing out things to suggest, friend. I do understand this was the entertainment show of the WWE week, and that ECW on SyFy and SmackDown will be better though. Either way, this RAW kicked the RAW that happened in real life on 27th July's ass. Writing this felt tough, Kev. I know you can do better. Maybe it's just an iffy week eh? And please don't take anything bad I say too harshly. Apologies for my strictness.

I love how John Cena but MVP over and it really made MVP look great. I hope MVP turns on John Cena in their tag match tonight. I like Jayson Paul & Shad Gaspard winning their tag match. I assume Batista will easily defeat Ted, so Batista versus Hunter will be pretty good. I was pleasantly surrpsied to see Ryan Braddock defeat R-Truth. I love that you are pushing a newer talent. I wonder what type of stipulation Hunter will pick if he has to face Batista. Batista winning was expected, but it works. A street fight between Hunter and Batista works well. JBL and Triple H winning was shocking, but the miscommunication between John Cena and MVP was only going to lead to that. This was a decent show; however, it was really short feeling.

July 28th, 2009 Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada Attendance: 18,655
This week’s ECW opens with a video package that showcases Mr. Kennedy retaining his ECW Championship against Kevin Thorn at The Bash, two nights ago. Next it shows Elijah Burke a few weeks ago, telling everybody that he was using his rematch clause on the ECW after The Bash.Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to tonight’s edition of ECW. They promote tonight’s huge card, as we have four major matches planned for tonight. That includes two grudge matches and two title matches.Singles Match Ezekiel Jackson vs. Mark HenryThese two mammoths once again go at it and again it leads to a pure straight up brawl. Henry came out firing early on and became the first person to have Jackson reeling. That continued until Jackson used a big clothesline to take advantage. After some back and forth action, Henry managed to put away Jackson after two World’s Strongest Slams. Winner: Mark Henry (6:07) **The announcers put over the fact that Ezekiel’s undefeated streak since coming to ECW is now over, but they’re sure that his reign of dominance is far from over.Commercial Break.Theodore Long is shown in his office, excited about tonight’s loaded edition of ECW. Ezekiel Jackson barges into the room and demands another match with Mark Henry next week. Long thinks about it and agrees, but says that it will be the main event and will be contested under Extreme Rules!
The Brood is now seen backstage. Kevin Thorn is upset after his loss two nights ago, but he says that it was just a minor setback and he will get back into contention. He turns his attention to Tyler Black and tells him that he’s been screwing up a lot lately and even cost him the match at The Bash, but he reminds him that he’ll be proud if he can win the Television Championship tonight. Black likes that and leaves for his match. Thorn turns to Hade Vansen and just says, “you know what to do”.
A commercial for SummerSlam is shown. Commercial Break.
Television Championship Gavin Spears (c) w/ Tiffany vs. Tyler BlackBlack was on his game tonight. He carried this match throughout and had the crowd on the edge of their seat. He was in control early on, but Spears managed to duck a super kick and hit a snap DDT to put himself in the driver’s seat. After some more back and forth action, the finish came. Spears had Black up for the Death Valley Driver, but he elbowed his way out of it and got down. He then nailed a super kick from out of nowhere, sending Spears into the corner. Vansen came running down and as Black went to run to Spears, Vansen tripped him up. Black got up and was furious with his partner, which allowed Spears to roll him up, but Black kicked out. Spears went to kick him, but Black caught his foot. Black ducked the enziguri attempt and caught him with God’s Last Gift to win the title. Winner and NEW Television Champion: Tyler Black (8:39) ***¼Black celebrated with his title and got right into Hade Vansen’s face. Vansen could be heard saying that he was sorry and that he meant to trip up Spears. Black tells him to remember that next time, he doesn’t need any help. Vansen apologizes again and raises Black’s hand in victory. Black goes back to smiling and celebrating while Vansen looks on bitterly.Commercial Break.Elijah Burke is interviewed backstage by Josh Matthews. He is sporting a new look, including a black robe type thing and shades. Matthews mentions that we just saw a title change hands and that it could be sign of things to come. Burke guarantees that it’s a sign. He beat Kennedy twice in a row, and Kennedy beating him in their third encounter, was a complete fluke. He will prove it out there tonight.Singles Match Jack Swagger vs. Matt HardyWith this being the first meeting between these two, it wasn’t as good as it could’ve been, but it was still very solid. Matt took it to Swagger early on and had him reeling and got a very close near fall after hitting the Side Effect. He missed his second rope leg drop and that opened the door for Swagger, who would hit him with some suplex variations. Hardy surprised everybody though, when he rolled him into a small package from out of nowhere and got the victory. Winner: Matt Hardy (9:54) ***½Swagger was furious at himself in the ring as Hardy celebrated up the ramp. The cameras cut to see Elijah Burke and Mr. Kennedy walking to the ring on a split screen because our main event is next!Commercial Break.
ECW Championship Mr. Kennedy (c) vs. Elijah BurkeMuch like their previous three encounters over the ECW Title, this was splendid. Burke seems to have added to his repertoire over the past few weeks and it showed here. He nailed a belly to belly suplex, a stiff back breaker and a huge leg lariat. Kennedy fought his way back and got control for a short while, only to have Burke connect with the 4-Up uppercut. He covered but only got a two count. Kennedy would nail the Mic Check, only to have Burke kick out. Both men hit each other with a double clothesline, knocking them both out. The lights in the arena went out at this point. They came back on and Kevin Thorn was standing in the middle of the ring with the ECW Title in his hand. Both Burke and Kennedy were covered in bloodbaths as well. No Contest (11:16) ***½Thorn raised the ECW Championship over his head as the show faded to black.© WWE 2009

I was actually surprised, and kind of disappointed, to see Mark Henry defeat Ezekiel Jackson. Ezekiel Jackson versus Mark Henry under Extreme Rules will be amazing. I wonder what is going on with Tyler Black and the Brood. Tyler Black becoming the TV champion is great. I am once again shocked to see Matt Hardy defeat Jack Swagger. The main event was excellent and the interference was perfect.
