I forgot about Frog Monger. I was out spending money on other figures at the time. Daaamn, I was hoping you got a couple. I missed out on it, too. Guess I'll have to pay eBay prices for Frog Monger, Wun Dar, and Kol-Darr. I'm just glad I got to grab Camo Khan and Grizzlor when they went up. |

I always miss the Mattel Creations figures. I forgot Frog Monger until about 4pm that afternoon. I have Wun Dar and Grizzlor on preorder, but it's kind of disappointing missing the Creations when I have nearly everything else from Origins.

I have Wun Dar and Grizzlor on preorder, but it's kind of disappointing missing the Creations when I have nearly everything else from Origins. I've got almost everything else, too. The MC stuff is just too limited, especially now. Frog Monger is cool, but he's far from a heavy hitter for your average collector. I feel like reselling is a huge component of the MC Origins stuff. |

When Origins first started, they were incredibly difficult to find. Eventually it got a bit easier, especially online, and Amazon allowed me to get more than a few without even preordering.
Now I feel like we're back at the beginning or worse, cause Amazon never has anything (not even preorders or delayed shipments) AND stores like BigBad don't have anything, either.
I went from having everything to being pretty behind in two or three months just because no one anywhere has anything unless you're looking at eBay and Amazon's third party sellers.
I swear the wave with Sorceress and Buzz-Off (wave 7?) may have ruined everything. It's like Mattel quadrupled production for that lone wave, and now we're facing another 200X Smash Blade He-Man and Spin Blade Skeletor situation 20 years later.

Not a good sign that the latest wave of origins went up on creations with no notice and sold out fast for the people who check the site every 5 minutes.
And now all of a sudden, Duplico is in the wave and not Lollipop Hypno, that some people already have.
Then on reddit pics of the next wave were shown.

Duplico and Tung Lasher were probably up when I bought Lyn yesterday. I didn't know until I watched a youtube video later that night.

Duplico and Tung Lasher were probably up when I bought Lyn yesterday. I didn't know until I watched a youtube video later that night. Duplico was the only one still available last night from that wave. |

My local Walmart had Buzz Off, Jitsu, Sorceress, and Stratos on clearance for $3 each. It's about time. Hopefully they're making room for some new waves and the exclusive Moss Man. My Walmart had a bunch of this wave in the clearance aisle but none of them were marked with a price so I didn't bother trying to buy any. Usually that Walmart doesn't discount much on clearance, so I'd guess they weren't $3 but now I wish I'd checked haha |

My local WM also put this wave on clearance... from $17.97 to $17.95.  My local Target still has them all for full price. |

I (or FOMO) decided it was time to take some measures to get caught up with Origins, so I placed an order with Entertainment Earth (one preorder for Wave 10, not-mint but in stock King Hiss and Thunder Punch He-Man) and have been watching Amazon for preorders and in stock figures.
If everything comes through, I'll have everything except Rattlor and Kobra Khan. And Mekaneck, but I'm hoping he gets a single release or the price comes down slightly on the Road Ripper pack.
