i think id swap white for black on the first pic and have the 2nd pic above my elbow (dno which one)

how long would those 2 take i think id swap white for black on the first pic and have the 2nd pic above my elbow (dno which one) They look pretty decent and for a roughly 5-6 inch tatoo of each done in the areas you want them done in, mind you watch the funny bone  , but they shouldn't take more than 3 sessions as I stated depending on the amount of color you want. And I would say no more than 2-3 hour per session depending on the artist and how long it takes him/her. Honestly get a girl to do it, guys take way too long IMO. |

9 hours total for those two complete 9 hours at most IMO. But it is dependent on the artist obviously, but I'd say spending more than 9 hours would be kinda pushing it. My tat as you can see from the pic wasn't that dark but I guess kinda detailed but the girl that did it finished it in under 15 hours. I will add to my statement it also depends on how long you can take it. It does hurt but it's not agonizing and the pain subsides if you do something to take it off your mind ie reading or playing a video game or something. |

Randy's must have taken at least 16-18 hours per arm and at a rate of 5-7 sessions per arm. They are pretty detailed and pretty dark. Um real scale would be helpful to the artist but on average just a picture and you telling them how big you want it is all they need. They should be good at space usage. |

I'm guessing you've never gotten a tattoo? The more details, the more work. Also, the more detail, the more time spent in one area of skin. Granted, there is a chance it will go numb at some point, but it can still be a bitch. And I'm guess you haven't either. I've got friends who work in the tatoo business. A one color, no detail isn't as brutal as a switched up tat. Yes it's still hurts the skin but it merely stings but once the pain is gone it's done and over. Based on the designs he's got and for the space it wouldn't be that painful. Probably a 3 hour sessions tops. Perhaps 3 sessions at most too depending on how deep he wants the color. And for the record...and I'm sure I've posted this before here:  that's my tat  nope. none. I do see what you're saying, however I was speaking directly about the Dharma one. The other one probably wouldn't take more then 2 hours for outline and fill, depending of course on how big he wants it. |

nope. none. I do see what you're saying, however I was speaking directly about the Dharma one. Couldn't have taken longer than 13 hours and probably 4 sessions. The only portion that really got to me was the shading directly on the bone with the bigger red part in the middle. If you don't mind me asking, do you have a reference picture of your tattoo? Like an original drawing or something? I'm not questioning the quality, but just wondering where it came from.

It wasn't a copy of anything and was meant to express what she felt I gave off. I don't really have a drawing of it online but if I find it I'll post it. |

As long as your parents say it's ok or you wait til you're 18.
Also try to think of ramifications IE jobs or schools that might not like seeing the tatoos. Mine is on my back because I never have to hide it from anyone professional.

btw ive got the option (which im taking) to carry on at my school for another 2 years and the older students have tatts and the staff dont rag on them about it
