a question to those with tatts...if you get them while you're younger, 18 or so, and you become larger a couple years later (fat or muscle wise) does it stretch or affect the tattoo?
thanks for any help.

They hurt a lot. Anyone who tells you anything different is trying to sound tough and is lying. the 2 i got didnt hurt for ****..... No matter how you spin it, getting a tattoo is still having someone put ink in your skin by having a needle tear your flesh up by going in and out hundreds of times. It ing hurts. The thing is, people have different thresholds for pain - my tattoos personally didn't hurt all THAT bad. - And I rationalize it by saying, I knew what was happening, I expect the pain, and because of that the pain is just irritating as piss, plus I think the end result is worth it. Honestly, catching the corner of a cabinet to the skull hurts worse, stubbing my toe hurt me worse, stepping on a thumbtack hurts worse, and I mainly think that because you aren't expecting it, you aren't prepared for it, and it hits you all at once by surprise. Even still, a ing needle (or needles) are ripping your skin, it totally destroys your top layer of skin, and for that reason - IT ING WILL HURT. ...just hurts some people less.

They hurt a lot. Anyone who tells you anything different is trying to sound tough and is lying. Uk is 18, regardless of parent consent. And its hurts more in different places, the one on my Bicep did not hurt, but the one on my forearm did, this isnt me trying to sound tough or whatever. It all depends how good you are with pain. Funny because it's actually 16 with parental consent. Countless kids around here have them and the local tattooist does it for 16/17 year olds only with parental consent, as does every other tattooist I've encountered.
