Does anyone think the Orton/Triple H finish was because they were running out of time? You can thank Kid Rock. no they had at least a good 30 mins

This should have been an all out, '01 style main event brawl. exactly. somebody should have sat these two down infront of austin vs. rock and told them to base their match off of that, but with their own creative additions. instead we got the triple h vs. jericho at mania 18 and jbl vs. cena at mania 21 type matches were it's a lot of lying around and nothing happening when all the crowd wants is some sort of balls out crazy brawling with near falls.

So true. This match should have been modeled after Rock/Austin from start to finish, whether they included the Vince McMahon turn or not. That is the kind of rivalry they had, and thats the kind of match their rivalry warranted.

Missed MITB, Diva Battle Royal and Jericho vs Legends, so I cant judge it, but the rest of the show just sucked top to bottom. HBK vs Taker didnt appeal to me at all. The only reason the match was half way interesting was because it was HBK and Taker. If it was Marty Jannetty and Sid Justice and every spot and move was done exactly the same, it would have been snooze fest Seriously, if that HBK/Taker match didn't appeal to you, wrestling is not for you. You are wasting your time.....

Taker vs HBK saved this from being a total waste.
Worst PPV main event I've seen in a looooong time, and at Wrestlemania? What a joke...

Cena + HBK and Taker contarary entrances= most innovative in years. But i have to agree most of the matches expect Taker/HBK and Hardys were a bit of a let down. Entertainment wise, it was everything a WM is suppose to be, wrestling wise it was decent at best. Still not regrets on going to watch it.

I thought it was a good WM it just really sucked that CM Punk won MITB again that and Cena winning. Other than those two things I thought it was good, not as good as last year but good.

A couple of additional notes: -Don't ever kick a show off with MITB again. It's been done twice now, and neither shows are ones I'd consider to be good Wrestlemanias. It should be the second or third match of the night, IMO. -Triple H/Orton was the most disappointing main event since Triple H/Jericho. -My local high school put on their rendition of "Hello, Dolly" this past week. I honestly had a better time at that show than I did watching WM. That should never ing happen! -What pisses me off the most is the fact that I was such a huge supporter of the WM in all the weeks building up to it. No other event has made me think "Maybe it's time I take some time away from wrestling. If WM can't get me excited, I don't know what can." -I'll probably watch the show again some time this week, now that I know what I'm getting myself into, and see how I feel about it. -Oh, and I LOVED the little touch with the HBK/'Taker entrances, with HBK descending from heaven and 'Taker ascending from hell. Wicked cool.

Ugh, the more I think about it, the worse it gets.
There was no reason for anything in that match. There was no story told, it was just a huge waste.
Why was Triple H going for roll ups and quick covers, I thought he wanted to beat the hell out of Orton? Where was Legacy? Where was Vince McMahon? Shane McMahon? Stephanie McMahon? This rivalry was central to all of them, and their involvement was crucial to its success

Seriously, this PPV was a botchamania in itself. And the only true backlash, is the outrage WWE are going to get over such a horrid PPV.

And JBL/Cena was shortened because HBK vs Angle had run too long. Maybe it wouldn't have saved the match but HHH/Orton probably would have been different if they'd had more time.

Wow !!! It seems everyone or almost everyone agrees Orton not winning tonite just sucked the life out of EVERYBODY!!! No match was over the top minus Taker/ HBK which was OFF THE CHAINS but all of them where good minus the three title matches which were bad. Steamboat, Jericho, MITB, and the Hardy's where PPV quality in my opinion. I so wanted tonite to set up a true CM Punk / Orton feud over the title, I also wanted Edge to win and Christan to get traded and go after the title

The cameramen botched this entire thing. Taker's entrance would've been 50 times cooler had they used a long shot instead of a tight shot. During Triple H's match, when he got thrown over the barricade, one camera guy said, "I can't move, he's on my wire!" Oh, dang.
HBK/Taker, though? Badass. Most impressive. I enjoyed Taker's head plant spot. Had he not f*cked up that landing, the drama would have been gone. The streak looked so much more volatile after that, because I thought he was really hurt.

No-one caught JR's tasteless comment?(Ledger) I guess I'm not done. But yes, damn, I forgot all about that. It did seem a little bit off the cuff. To be honest, I thought the commentary was lacking all night. Obviously they're not used to working in a three-man team, and it showed quite a bit.
