i watched Halloween H20 yesterday, and thought the films stopped at that cos Michael got his head cut off. I havent seen Ressurection, but ive read about bits of it and ino Michael was alive in it So Basically How The Was He Still Alive

Apparently when he was stabbed and fell off the balcony, a paramedic came to check him out and was wounded by Myers. Myers seems to have ripped his throat out so he couldn't speak and put his mask on the paramedic and swapped clothes with him. So Laurie basically but the paramedics head off as Myers slipped off into the night. It's quite ridiculous...but I guess it was a good way to explain his survival. Though Resurrection is just awful

I enjoyed H20 and found it a serious attempt to reinvigorate Halloween.for me it did........by ignoring 4&5 and bringing Jamie Lee back it felt like Halloween.....but Ressurection was just crap. more pointless attempts to explain Myers murderous ways.

In my eyes the original Halloween series ended with H20. That ending was fantastic.

As well as the amount of time it would have taken myers to ripp a guys throat out and then swap clothes. hmm, he's lucky the paramedic was similar to his huge size

Not really, it seems better when you actually watch it.

Yeah, the explanation given in Resurrection was a bit out there, but at least some thought was put into it (even if it was half-ass).
I always wondered how they would continue the series given the ending to H20 and, maybe it's just me but, H20 doesn't really hold up as I once thought it did. I'm not as impressed with it when I watch it now compared to 10-11 years ago, but it was the last decent Michael Myers film, in my opinion (including Zombie's garbage remake).

In my eyes the original Halloween series ended with H20. That ending was fantastic. The original series ended for me when Donald Pleasance died. But H20 was good in an "alternate universe" kind of way.

I love H20, Resurrection.....not so much. Pretty much a pointless movie.

for me theres only 3 movies in the original series.
Halloween I and II and H20.
4 and 5 I dont really count and obviously they are supposed to be ignored when watching H20.

I think they really should have ended it after Halloween I and II.
III was a monumental failure, which is the only reason Michael Myers was brought back because they wanted to bastardize him and tun it into a franchise cash cow, which just like with the SAW series, the movies make more and more money even as the series gets progressively worse and worse.

i really liked Ressurection. the creepiest/best part was the texting on the camera.
But TBH i dont think ive seen another halloween besides the 2007 from start to finish. I have to favor Ressurection because it was made in my time.

I watched the 07 remake last night
I thought it was pretty gd, only watched up to when Michael broke out, then i started to fade in and out of it, until Linderman shot Michael, then when he got shot about 50 times
cant remember the dr.s name so i said Linderman cos hes linderman from heroes
Does #2 take place straight after #1 like the original did

But H20 was good in an "alternate universe" kind of way. True; Pleasance was in a league of his own and it's a shame he went, but I thought Jamie Lee Curtis was fair compensation for H20. I totally see what you mean though.

Zombie wont have as much resistance to remaking part 2 because it was poor enough.......Im interested to see what he does

H2O is great if you consider the Halloween series to go from I-II-H2O like I do. Ressurection not so much.

Halloween ended for me with part 6. Without Loomis the series was awful.
