Yea makes sense to me. Both guys have good size and hopefully can develop into something special. Smith will continue to produce and hopefully Hixon will too. Manningham needs to develop and Moss needs to do something this year. And thats alot of good receivers right there.

I was just watching some Hakeem Nicks highlights. God damn, the kid has hands. He's going to be a great fit for The Giants, and especially Eli. His YAC impress me the most. #88, out of UNC, with great hands and above average speed. Reminds me of a Future hall of fame reciever the Rams just let go.

The second guy they drafted, Ramses Barden, is really going to help them in the greenzone, where they struggled without Plax. He's 6'6.

What the hell is this green zone you keep mentioning?

I was a big fan of Manningham when he was at Michigan, and even though I hate the Giants...I'd love to see him become something. Not this year, though, I don't think.
What the hell is this green zone you keep mentioning? I think it's from your own 10 yard line up to your opponent's 25 yard line, or something like that.

What the hell is this green zone you keep mentioning? It's Coughlin's version of the redzone.

Yeah, but being a big target means you'll help in the RED zone. So really, I have no idea what this "greenzone" is that he's talking about. Being big doesn't always help if you don't have great hands, since the red zone gets mighty crowded, but we'll see. Yea makes sense to me. Both guys have good size and hopefully can develop into something special. Smith will continue to produce and hopefully Hixon will too. Manningham needs to develop and Moss needs to do something this year. And thats alot of good receivers right there. Manningham and Moss are below average right now. Hixon can produce, but not when there aren't bigger and better WR's on the field to take the attention away from him. One thing that is irritating me post-draft are "draft grades." Most of the ones I'm seeing are giving the Packers an A, but how? Based on what? Come back in three years and tell me if we had the best draft.

It's just what he calls the area from the 20 yard line to the endzone.

Doesn't he call it the green zone because "that's where you make your money" or something along those lines?

I'm pretty sure Don Shula was the first to call it the green zone, for the reason sonstuds said. Correct me if I'm wrong though

I am so happy that the Jets were able to sign Emanuel Cook, this guy looked really amazing from the games I saw him in at Scar. And Tyrrell Herbert signed with the Bills and Nick Moore signed with the Vikings. Hopefully they don't get cut.

Moss has dissappointed me greatly so far, and hopefully Manningham will get some playing time. Moss is the speed guy though, and if he can get his craptogether then he could be dangerous.

Our receivers can produce. It is up to a certain someone, who will go un-named, to step up, and deliver the football to them in a catchable manner.

Pittsburgh Steelers have put Larry Foote on the trading block, and if there are no offers by the end of the week, he will just be released.
Heard that on my local Sports radio show.
