...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Los Angeles, CA 10/31/09 - 4:00 PM Attendance: 5,000 (sell out)
Welcome to a JAMMED sell-out crowd here in Los Angeles, CA on Halloween night! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and the NWL is here to bring you some of the spookiest action you've ever seen, as every competitor tonight will be wrestling in a gimmick match! Will the Most Wanted take advantage of tonight and improve on their lead?
vs. Match #1 - Steel Chair On A Pole Match; Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 16:13 of action, Kenny King was able to grab the chair from the pole and use it on Duan Sanchez Jr, but it was Duan who escaped with the victory following a SGM while King was laying on an exposed chair. The chair came into play about 10 minutes into the bout and Duan ended up busted open in a very brutal match with an insane ending.
vs. Match #2 - 'I Quit' Match; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] - After 18:54 of action, LyNN was able to make his counterpart, Stone, quit following a shot to the head with one of the cameras in the arena. Stone got rocked by the camera and immediately gave up as LyNN turned into a mad man here. The Chicago slump was also broken in this match and LyNN was the man to break it. Decent wrestling match also!
vs. Match #3 - First Blood Match; Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] - After 26:43 of action, in a terribly brutal match between two good friends on separate teams, Evan Pagano was able to walk away, barely, by making Curtis bleed following a leg drop to Curtis' face, while a chair was resting over it. Curtis definitely was cut the hardway also and I'm not sure if the match was suppose to end like that. Either way, this match was definitely spectacular and these two friends put on a show for the crowd.
- Intermission -
- Evan Pagano helped Curtis to the back following busting him open via leg drop with chair. The crowd gave both men a big round of applause to show appreciation.
- It was announced that Most Wanted member, Tom Diamond, will be eligible to return NEXT show, not tonight!
vs. Match #4 - Parking Lot Brawl; Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] - After 20:51 of action, the fans who were outside were treated to a match, even know they didn't pay and the fans inside got to see it on the jumbo tron. In the end, it was Tim Smith who came out on top after CRUSHING Hammers with a STO on the front windshield of a 1999 Toyota Corolla and getting the pinfall. This match was also very brutal, but also a fun one to watch. Definitely some nice wrestling action in here two and the fans ate it up!
vs. Match #5 - Tables Match; Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 15:43 of action, Kevin Shamrock saw himself going through a table, face first, after Assassin threw him off the top rope to the outside, where a table was waiting for him. The fall was certainly brutal and Shamrock seemed to land pretty badly on his shoulder. Assassin seemed like a psycho in the match and made sure he did everything to get the certain victory. The crowd definitely enjoyed this match!
vs. Match #6 - Lumberjack Match; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 27:41 of action, in a match where the ring was surrounded by every NWL active roster member, Red Dragon, who was dressed as a pumpkin (which the crowd loved), put Bockwinkel down following a Red Dragon Driver in the best match of the night. Bockwinkel displayed his actual wrestling skills in the match, but they fell short to the pumpkin that was Red Dragon. The crowd definitely loved this match and a few times the lumberjacks got involved when both guys were thrown out of the ring.
- We return and see you next in Los Angeles on November 3rd! Be sure to rest up and eat all your candy now!

Great that your changing it about for Halloween, glad Duan won but I could have gone with either man, wow LyNN is good at everything, I said before I wanted Curtis/Pagano good match Pagano is going on a roll, bit WWE-ish PLB rather someone different glad Smith won he'll prob shoot up the rankings soon, STO on the car sounds sick, not so much into the tables match neither man are big players, Pumpkin Dragon! Great and the stip suited you could have just done the teamates on the outside and have Ace and Kev fight but the whole NWL was great as well, I was expecting a ladder match for some reason I would have rathered it than one of the first two matches, great way to break things up well done and good luck

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Los Angeles, CA 11/03/09 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 4,712
Well, its safe to say that the crowd is down for tonight's show from Halloween Night, but the NWL is still prepared to give you the best action in the world on this cold November night! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and as we enter into November, the Most Wanted look to improve on their commanding lead in the Western Conference! Let's go down to ringside!
- It was announced that the Boston Brawlers have sent down Cameron Stone and have recalled Shannon Moore, who will be debuting next show!
vs. Match #1; LyNN & Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Chris Hammers & Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 21:41 of action, Chris Hammers was apparently feeling the effects of the big STO on the windshield of a Toyota Corolla from Tim Smith, was he was pinned following a Springboard Tornado DDT from LyNN in a pretty decent way to start the evening. The match was sloppy at times and the crowd didn't want to take it. Chicago scores a big win over the team that is trailing them in the standings tonight!
vs. Match #2; Evan Pagano [New York Crush] vs. Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] - After 16:29 of action, Matt Justice went back onto his winning ways here after nailing Pagano with a Double Underhook Powerbomb that came out of nowhere. Pagano looked a bit banged up from his first blood match with Curtis a few night ago, but Justice seemed to be just a half a step ahead of Pagano anyway. Justice is looking to get the Evolution back into contention and a win here is pretty big for the team!
vs. Match #3; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 13:49 of action, Ace Bennett was able to put down this member of the Brawlers, after failing to put down Smith a few shows ago, following a Syracuse Drop. Bennett seemed a little pissed off and really took out his anger on Corino, who seemed a bit slow in the match. The crowd loved to see the win for the Most Wanted, who appear to be on their way to solidifying a playoff spot for next month!
- Intermission -
- Be sure to check on the NWL Roundup for information on cap expansion, the 2010 draft and MUCH MUCH MORE!
- Tickets for the final regular season event in Los Angeles, CA on the 30th of November are officially sold out!
vs. Match #4; Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 09:53 of action, Trace Demon made some quick work out of Kevin Shamrock here, and finished him off with a Demonstration of Hell. The fans of the Most Wanted were upset to see another Western team win, as they want to cement a playoff spot as soon as possible, but Trace Demon delayed that dream for a little while longer with a win here tonight. Demon looked pretty beastly in the match and Shamrock really stood no chance.
vs. Match #5; Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] - After 26:32 of action, in a match that should have main evented here tonight as it was absolutely amazing, Kevin Hart put Tim Smith down with the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. These two had some fantastic chemistry in the ring and it was a shame to see the match end as the crowd really enjoyed it. Smith almost got the win after a STO, but Hart was able to find a way out of it and get the win later on.
- Following the match, the two men exchanged hands out of a ton of respect!
vs. Match #6; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 25:03 of action, in a better match than expected from the crowd, Red Dragon had a tough time putting Assassin down, but he eventually did following a huge Red Dragon Driver and pinfall. Assassin definitely put on a show for the crowd and almost stunned them when he nailed an Assassin's Way, but Dragon was able to kick out of it. The crowd was extremely thrilled to see Dragon get the win though and the place exploded after the three count!
- We see you guys for the final time in Los Angeles during the 2009 season on November 30th and join you next 3 days from now in Hartford! Get some rest folks!

NWL.com - The National Wrestling League is proud to announce that the off-season officially kicks off on the 20th of January. The off-season of course includes the draft, free-agency period, and so much more! Be sure to check back with the roundup every week so we can get specific dates on certain events during the off-season! - With the upcoming 2010 draft, the cap room will expand pretty widely from $75,000 to $200,000 as each team will be adding AT LEAST two members to their team, but keep only 3 in the major leagues. The rest will be sent to the minors. Also, since the cap is rising, so is contract rates. So, this is for all the competitors out there, pay attention to the following: - If you finished with a winning percentage over .500, your pay wage will increase by 45%. - If you finished with a winning percentage between .400 & .500, your pay wage will increase by 35%. - If you finished with a winning percentage between .300 & .400, your pay wage will increase by 20%. - If you finished with a winning percentage between .200 & .300, your pay wage will increase by 10%. - If you finished with a winning percentage below .200, your pay wage will increase by 5%. - Minor League Report: Sean Shafer has arrived and he is looking pretty good down here for the Evolution. Before his exit from the minors to the majors, Shannon Moore was preforming pretty well and that must have been the reason he had been called up. Tom Diamond will be arriving within the next few days! Top 10 of the Week:1. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 1 (/)] 2. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] [Last Week: 2 (/)] 3. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] [Last Week: 3 (/)] 4. Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 4 (/)] 5. Chris Hammers [Las Vegs Blitz] [Last Week: 5 (/)] 6. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] [Last Week: 6 (/)] 7. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 7 (/)] 8. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] [Last Week: 8 (/)] 9. Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] [Last Week: 9 (/)] 10. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] [Last Week: 9 (-1)]

Shannon should be cool I can't actually remember him from before, sad that the first match wasn't great it had 3 good talents in there, big win for Justice seems like Mr. Underdog, glad Ace won we should make the playoffs now unless we all start losing alot, Hart beating Smith is great he did something Ace couldn't! Ace/Hart one more time! Former partners clash in the ME glad Dragon won in LA, little bit confused by the draft and stuff looks like I'm going to be spending big bucks trying to keep Dragon, Ace and Devin but it looks like we're getting money anyway seems as if I'll have to spend on keeping my current team and buying cheap tallent to improve, hopefully if you make the playoffs or win you get extra money, keep this up good luck

Unless something drastic happens Ace will be getting paid 17,400 dollars next season. I think 12K is quite good value for Ace. Glad I got the win over Corino and Red Dragon got the win over Assassin. The offseason will be great and it will be interesting to see what happens. Keep up the great work and as Red Dragon suggested in GD, I also believe that this diary is worth consideration for the HOF.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Hartford, CT 11/06/09 - 3:00 PM Attendance: 4,626
Welcome to a very chilly day here in the great state of Connecticut! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa, here with the NWL, and today these warm fans will be treated to some of the best action in the United States today! The Evolution are looking to climb back into the playoffs and today would be a nice day to finally pass Boston! Here comes the action folks!
vs. Match #1; Shannon Moore [Boston Brawlers] vs. Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 11:53 of action, Shannon Moore put on a show with Jason Williams in his debut match here in the NWL and he was able to give Boston a big win here following a diving somersault neckbreaker! Williams looked excellent in this match, maybe it was because he had some chemistry with Moore, but either way, the crowd was able to enjoy this match to the max and Moore walked away victorious in his debut match with Boston!
vs. vs. Match #2; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] - After 23:45 of action, the crowd was treated to a nice triple threat match and the one who emerged victorious was none other than Chris Hammers after he drilled Thompson with a Bloodrush while Pagano was down on the outside. Pagano seemed to hurt himself badly in the midsection after attempting a suicide dive and taking himself out of the match. This left Hammers & Thompson alone and let Hammers get the win for Las Vegas!
- Following the bell, Chris Hammers helped Pagano to the locker room area as Pagano held his ribs. We might be able to get an update by the end of the night!
vs. Match #3; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 20:32 of action, Matt Justice was able to make his fans very happy before we went to intermission, after he was able to catch Corino with a devastating Double Underhook Powerbomb. Justice is once again added another win to his belt and this one is as big as any, as it gains ground on Boston, who is occupying the second playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Justice appears to be on fire and is looking towards the future!
- Intermission -
- The fans of Hartford will be treated to a free autograph session after the show! Kevin Shamrock, Matt Justice & Duan Sanchez Jr. will be on hand for the signing!
vs. vs. Match #4; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 26:51 of action, in possibly the best triple threat of the year, LyNN was able to walk out victorious in this one, after Kevin Hart got Curtis locked up in the sharpshooter and LyNN jumped from the ropes and nailed a springboard bulldog on Hart to get the pinfall. This match was filled with action and at times, it was hard to keep up with. The ending really got the crowd going as it was completely awesome and LyNN was very happy to walk out victorious away from home!
- The three men shook hands after the match and LyNN celebrated a little more with the crowd!
vs. Match #5; Duan Sanchez Jr. & Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon & Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 23:41 of action, the home team was able to shock their own crowd and steal another victory tonight after Kevin Shamrock caught Kenny King with a Famine Driver and got the pinfall. Shamrock looked at his best here tonight and what a better time to be at your best. Demon almost had the victory a few times in the match, but the crowd was able to rally their team back to victory. What a way to end the night for the Evolution!
- We return to Hartford again on the 13th of November, a week from now! We see you fans next in Boston two days from now! Playoffs are almost here!

Cody I would think you won't be signed until the end of the season no-one is gonna make changes this late in the season well unless someone gets injured, sad that Jason lost he seems like the jobber of LA hopefully when I bring up Diamond he'll replace him well, after I said about injury Pagano injures himself, another big win for Justice, triple threat seemed amazing all 3 men seem like they mesh well, sad that Devin lost i'm starting to doubt we can win the best of 5 now with only 2 strong players, could have done with the last matches swapped around but i see why you did it, good luck and keep it up

Nice show. Williams is really seeming to go jobber on our team, we should probably call Diamond back up ASAP. Getting sweeped doesn't really do much for us obviously hopefully Ace and Dragon can appear on the next show and get LA some wins.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Boston, MA 11/08/09 - 1:00 PM Attendance: 3,990
Hello all and welcome to another great edition of NWL Live! The season is starting to wind down and the home stretch is near! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, we will see if the Boston Brawlers can crawl back into playoff contention after being knocked out last week! Also, can the Warriors get themselves back over .500? We will have to find out right now!
- It was announced before the show that Evan Pagano [New York Crush] has sustained a few broken ribs last show and will be out until the end of November. Nick Jacobs will be replacing him in the major leagues for New York!
vs. Match #1; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 16:10 of action, Duan Sanchez Jr. sent the Evolution fans at home in a frenzy to open up the show, after he was able to catch Thompson with a SGM and pinfall! This is another huge win for the Evolution here tonight and this one certainly hurts Chicago. These two actually blended pretty well action wise and the crowd seemed to enjoy the bout. Thompson looked a little sloppy, but Sanchez Jr. was able to pick him up.
vs. Match #2; Devin Curtis & Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kenny King & Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 22:19 of action, Ace Bennett was able to get Los Angeles back on the winning side after they dropped two matches last week, following a Syracuse Drop to Kenny King. Curtis also looked pretty well in the match and these two always have chemistry when they tag up. Hammers seemed to be leading King the whole match and was almost fighting the match himself since King didn't have anything in the tank.
- After the match, Chris Hammers shoved Kenny King to the mat and called him pathetic. The tensions are even heating up between teams during playoff time!
vs. Match #3; Shannon Moore [Boston Brawlers] vs. Nick Jacobs [New York Crush] - After 11:32 of action, in a pretty sloppy match to close the first half of the show, Shannon Moore was able to pick up another victory for Boston after he came out flying and nailed Jacobs with a Mooregasm! Jacobs didn't seem rusty, he just couldn't really keep up with the quicker Moore, who looked even better than two days ago. The crowd did love Moore's fast pace style and applauded him after a great effort.
- Intermission -
- On the next edition of the NWL Roundup, the list of upcoming free agents will be released! And; the minor league report, update on Evan Pagano and of course, the top 10!
vs. Match #4; LyNN & Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Matt Justice & Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 22:43 of action, the Evolution delivered another huge blow to the Warriors here to open up the second part of the show, following a Double Underhook Suplex from Matt Justice to Assassin. Shamrock looked very well yet again in the match and really was the backbone of the team tonight. LyNN tried all he could to carry his captain in this one, but he can't fight off two men! Tri-State is now on a four-game winning streak!
vs. Match #5; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 26:53 of action, in a battle of two great captains, it was Red Dragon who emerged victorious and completed the sweep of the Blitz here tonight, after he caught Demon with a Red Dragon Driver. Dragon looked absolutely like gold tonight and he seemed determine to get those two losses back. Demon also looked very intense, but just came up short to the hotter man. This match was definitely the match of the night!
vs. Match #6; Tim Smith & Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Kevin Hart & Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 21:39 of action, the home crowd was definitely disappointed with the way this one ended, as Mike Bockwinkel was able to score the victory, even though he seemed extra crazy tonight, following a Bockwinkel special to Corino. These four had some good action during the match and Hart really wanted to get his hands on Smith for some reason. Either way, the fans booed the New York win, as it just buries their team farther back into last!
We return to Boston 8 days from now on the 16th of November and see you folks next 3 days from now in Chicago! Enjoy your day!

Ouch at Pagano going out but atleast Jacobs gets time to shine, glad Duan won I didn't see Thompson as a challenger, tag match was great all 4 are good hopefully this is what Devin needs to win again, sad that Nick didn't win Shannon could have a nice little roll, good job by Dragon a true team captain, Bockwinkel with the pin! a Hart/Smith mini feud would be great, good luck and keep this up

Tri-State Evolution's graphic for the results was the graphic of New York Crush. I was pleased to see Duan Sanchez Jr defeat Brian Thompson to start our team off right. Kevin Shamrock and I defeating LyNN & Assassin was also great to give Tri-State a good night.

Glad that LA swept after not being able to get a win at the previous show. Awesome that Ace and Curtis picked up the win, if Curtis can be good during the playoffs, I think that LA will win the championship. Red Dragon picking up a win is also good I can't wait to read the playoffs and the events of the offseason. Almost to 20 pages, awesome work! Keep it up man.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Chicago, IL 11/11/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 4,841
The windy city is ESPECIALLY chilly tonight, as the NWL is getting set for the first ever 'Series Invitational' in less than a month! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the Warriors look to climb back to .500 in front of their fans and they are also looking to hold on to their playoff spot! Let's see if they can do just that!
vs. vs. Match #1; Kenny King & Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Steve Corino & Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] vs. Matt Justice & Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 26:32 of action, the first of two triple threat tag team matches tonight, the Evolution saw themselves getting yet another win here, making it 5 in a row, following a Double Underhook Powerbomb from Matt Justice on Kenny King. This match was definitely all over the place, but man, it was really excellent! The fans also enjoyed it as the action was basically at an overload. The second one of these will main event the show, so the fans have something to look forward to. As for the wrestlers in the match, Trace Demon ALMOST got the win for the Blitz, but Justice was able to break it up and then take advantage!
vs. Match #2; Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 22:03 of action, in a very technical style of match, Kevin Hart was able to put down the man from the top team in the league, after Hart locked him into the Sharpshooter and Curtis was forced to tap out. This match was definitely even in action, but Hart just looked very well in it. The crowd was also into it a ton and Curtis came out very strong in the match.
- Following the bout, Curtis & Hart shook hands on a great match and the crowd cheered very loudly!
vs. Match #3; Shannon Moore [Boston Brawlers] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] - After 17:29 of action, Shannon Moore suffered his first lost inside a NWL ring, following a big Springboard Tornado DDT from LyNN! The fans went absolutely nuts when they saw LyNN get the three count, as they have already gained a game on the Blitz following their win here. LyNN looked nothing short of incredible in this one and Moore fell short definitely. The two did mix in this one though, but LyNN proved he was the superior in this one.
- Intermission -
- The final regular season Chicago show tickets are currently on sale right now! If you buy more than 3 tickets, you get a voucher for $10 off the NWL 'Best of the Best 2009' DVDs!
vs. Match #4; Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 25:35 of action, in an absolutely amazing match between two of the top competitors in the world, Duan Sanchez Jr. was able to continue the Evolution's winning streak and continue Las Vegas' losing streak, after nailing Hammers with a SGM, which Hammers ALMOST kicked out of. This match was definitely evenly split offense wise and the crowd couldn't tell which way it would actually end up. Sanchez was able to squeak by Hammers and got the Evolution YET another win!
- After his loss, Chris Hammers threw a bit of a hissy fit in ring and destroyed some of the camera crew's stuff. He is certainly going to be fined for that act of frustration!
vs. vs. Match #5; Brian Thompson & Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Nick Jacobs & Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Red Dragon & Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 22:40 of action, in the second triple threat tag team and final match of the night, the Most Wanted were able to pull out a big victory here tonight, after Red Dragon nailed Assassin with a big time Red Dragon Driver and got the pinfall before Bockwinkel could break it up. The Warrior fans should have been disappointed in their team, as neither man really showed up and the match was basically between the Most Wanted & the Crush. Some excellent action between those teams though and the Most Wanted basically escaped with the win!
- We return to Chicago one more time in the regular season on the 5th of December and see you folks next 2 days from now back in Hartford!

Triple Threat Tag matches whoot!, v suprised at the opener Matt's team seemed the weaker team 5 wins is damn good, Curtis puts on good matches but loses! Moore getting his first loss had to come sooner or later and LyNN is one of the top men so it makes sense, Duan winning was abit of an upset, wow suprised at the ME I thought Jason would let LA down and Nick would let NY down leading to a win for the hometown, good luck and keep this up
