...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Hartford, CT 11/13/09 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 4,810
Welcome to yet another edition of NWL Live everyone! As always, I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the hometown Evolution look to continue their massive winning streak, which is now at 6 straight matches! With one win and two New York losses, they could tie for first place in the East! Let's see what we can do!
- It was announced that Tom Diamond has been recalled from the minors and Jason Williams has been sent down for the Los Angeles Most Wanted! Diamond will be in action...right now!
vs. Match #1; Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 15:12 of action, Steve Corino made this return for Tom Diamond an unpleasant one after he nailed him with an Old School Kick. Diamond still looked pretty on point and could have won the match, but Corino just seemed to not go down. The crowd really wanted to see Diamond win, so that the Evolution can keep their playoff spot!
vs. Match #2; Nick Jacobs [New York Crush] vs. Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] - After 14:51 of action, in a pretty unstable match, Brian Thompson was able to pick up a pretty massive win for Chicago, after he nailed Nick Jacobs, with the Roll The Dice. Jacobs looked pretty awful in this match and Thompson, who isn't the best to begin with, had to carry most of the match and the crowd was pretty bored. They were only happy after Thompson won, since they helps the Evolution big time!
vs. Match #3; Matt Justice & Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Chris Hammers & Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 09:15 of action, Chris Hammers ended up walking out on his opponent here tonight, after the Evolution were dominating him. King went for the tag, but Hammers wasn't there and so, Matt Justice was able to connect with a Double Underhook Suplex and give the Evolution their seventh win in a row. This was a pretty shameful sight as King really got murdered in the match!
- Intermission -
- Kenny King walked to the locker room area by himself while the crowd gave him a pity clap. He raised him arm before disappearing.
- Another autograph signing will be held tonight in Hartford, to compensate the folks who missed the last one!
vs. vs. Match #4; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 26:51 of action, in a triple threat featuring everyone in the Western Conference, Ace Bennett was able to pick up a win here for the Most Wanted, after he was able to nail BOTH LyNN & Trace Demon with the Syracuse Drop. Bennett seemed on fire here tonight and the fans were absolutely in love with him. Nobody could bring him down and the 'BotB' winner definitely proved himself a big time winner with this match. Excellent action between these three competitors!
- Afterward, Ace Bennett celebrated with the crowd as Trace Demon threw the steel steps across the ring area. There is a ton of frustration inside the Blitz!
vs. vs. Match #5; Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 22:40 of action, in the triple threat of all three Eastern Conference team captains, Tim Smith emerged victorious and ended the winning streak of the Evolution, after he crushed Shamrock with a STO. Definitely some exciting action and at times, the crowd didn't know who would win, since it was extremely even. Even though their team lost, the crowd was still happy because New York also lost, meaning the Evolution are now tied with New York! Tim Smith was absolutely golden in this match and got the second big win for his team here tonight!
- We return to Hartford for the final time on the 21st of November and we see you guys next 3 days from now in Boston! Goodnight everyone!

Glad the Evolution's win streak was cut short. LA can't afford a team like that getting hot this close to the playoffs. Awesome that Ace picked up a win. Hopefully Diamond will come into his own, but Corino is a very hard opponent. Keep it up man.

A great victory for Duan Sanchez Jr. and I as we defeat Kenny King after Chris Hammers bails on him. I wish Kevin Shamrock would have pulled through in the main event, but it is fine that he didn't.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Boston, MA 11/16/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 3,993
The Boston crowd is getting pretty restless now, but the action is just about to begin! Hello fans and welcome to another edition of NWL Live! I'm, of course, Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the Boston Brawlers look to take advantage of being at home and look to move up in the Eastern Conference standings. With only 8 shows to go, the tensions are heating up and everything is starting to get very interesting here in the NWL!
vs. Match #1; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 17:10 of action, in a rematch from the Best of the Best, Devin Curtis once again succeeded in beating Sanchez Jr., this time he beat him with the 450 splash. Curtis looked excellent in the ring and if he starts to heat up, nobody can stop the Most Wanted! These two still have a ton of chemistry in the ring and the crowd gave them a nice hand afterward. This is also a nice result for Boston, so the crowd gave Curtis a cheer!
- Afterward, the two exchanged handshakes and Sanchez Jr. raised Curtis' hand!
vs. Match #2; Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 13:51 of action, the Western Conference continued dominance tonight, following the Assassin's Way from Assassin to Bockwinkel. This match couldn't hold a candle to the last, but it was still decent in its own right. The two captains worked pretty well with each other, but Assassin proved himself to be the better man here tonight!
vs. Match #3; Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 15:09 of action, Chris Hammers seemed to get all his frustration out on Steve Corino and finished off the home crowd favorite Corino with the Bloodrush! Hammers started to really pound Corino during the match and the crowd was a little frightened at the sight. Hammers was very intense in the match and didn't celebrate his victory afterward!
- Intermission -
- Be sure to check out the Roundup, which should be up after this show! The list of Free Agents will be released, along with MUCH MUCH MORE!
vs. Match #4; Brian Thompson & LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Kenny King & Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 20:08 of action, the Warriors shut down the Blitz pretty fast and hard in this one, following a big Springboard Tornado DDT from LyNN to Kenny King. King is still looking very lowly as of late and Demon couldn't pick him up in this match. The crowd was actually pulling for the Warriors and they came out on top big time in this one.
vs. Match #5; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 22:45 of action, in the best match of the night, Kevin Hart was able to walk away victorious against one of the best captains in the league, after he locked him in the sharpshooter and Dragon had nothing to do but tap out! This match seemed like some revenge for Hart, who lost in the 'BotB' finals to Dragon's teammate Ace Bennett. The crowd wasn't all too happy about this one, but they did appreciate the great action!
vs. Match #6; Shannon Moore & Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] vs. Kevin Shamrock & Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] - After 25:31 of action, the home crowd went home very upset, after Matt Justice was able to score a big win for the Evolution, following a Double Underhook Powerbomb on Shannon Moore. Shamrock & Justice looked REAL good tonight and the crowd definitely did not want to see the second Boston loss of the night. Moore & Smith didn't click as a team and that could be a real problem going down the stretch.
- We return to Boston on December 2nd and we close the season out here on December 10th! We join you folks 5 days from now back in Hartford, for the final Connecticut show this regular season!

Good to see Devin Curtis bounced back from his loss from two shows ago. Very good match between Duan Sanchez Jr, like always. Hopefully Curtis can make a decent winning streak. Overall, a good show, and keep it up, duaner. I can't wait for the playoffs!

Duan Sanchez Jr. falling short in the opening contest stinks as since he is a teammate, I was hoping he would win. The main event shocked me since I was able to pull through with a huge victory over Shannon Moore! I am happy that Kevin and I both looked really good because of the main event. I am very pleased to see I finally reached the Top 10 of the Week, hopefully I can hold my spot. This diary is awesome duaner and I hope this never dies!

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Hartford, CT 11/21/09 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 4,672
The pressure is now one everybody in the NWL locker room and its only going to increase as we get closer to the end of the season! With the Most Wanted basically securing a playoff spot, they are the only team that is able to do that! I am Jimmy Pietrafesa, senior reporter of the NWL, and tonight, the Evolution look to move into first place in the Eastern Conference! Will they be able to sneak past the New York Crush?
- Before the event began, it was announced that Kenny King has been sent down by the Las Vegas Blitz and Ken Anderson has been recalled! Anderson will be in action later tonight!
vs. Match #1; Nick Jacobs [New York Crush] vs. Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 09:42 of action, in a pretty horrid way to begin the evening in Hartford, Tom Diamond got his first victory since returning from his leg injury, after nailing Nick Jacobs, who has been awful all year, with an Assault Driver. Diamond carried most of the match and the lowly Jacobs only brought the match down. The crowd was also very delighted to see the Crush take a loss here, as it moves them upwards in the standings!
vs. Match #2; Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Shannon Moore [Boston Brawlers] - After 14:55 of action, in his return match for the Blitz, Ken Anderson was able to pick up the victory here, after nailing Moore with the Kenton Bomb in a solid match. Anderson may be what the Blitz need to make a run over these next seven shows, as he provided some spunk for this team. He looked at his best all season in this one and Moore really stood no shot here. Crowd was once again happy for their team!
- Afterward, some fan asked Anderson for a handshake and he went to accept it, but pulled back before it went down. He got some heat from that segment there.
vs. Match #3; Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 15:04 of action, this battle of the captains ended in a pretty interesting way, as Assassin was setting Shamrock up for the Assassin's Way, but Kevin Shamrock battled out of it and nailed a quick Famine Driver for the victory! The fans were absolutely nuts during this match and once they saw the hand go down for the three count, they erupted. These two men have some pretty good chemistry in the ring and this was a good way to go to break!
- Intermission - - Since tonight is the final regular season show in Hartford, all members in attendance will a receive a voucher good for 10% the '2009: Best of the Tri-State Evolution' DVD which will be released this offseason! Be sure to catch this one on DVD folks!
vs. Match #4; Ace Bennett & Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Chris Hammers & Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 22:31 of action, Ace Bennett helped the Most Wanted achieve their second win of the night, after he crushed Trace Demon with a Syracuse Drop. There seemed to be some extreme tension between Demon & Hammers and it showed in the way they tagged during the match. Hammers wrestled most of the match and once Demon was tagged in, he was dominated pretty badly. Curtis & Bennett really work well as a team and they pick up a win that pretty much puts the Most Wanted in the playoffs!
- Afterward, the two members of the Blitz argued in the middle of the ring. Hammers walked out on his captain and didn't listen to what he had to say.
vs. Match #5; LyNN & Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Tim Smith & Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 23:46 of action, the crowd became happy YET again here tonight, after Brian Thompson put away the Brawlers here, after finding a way to nail the Roll The Dice on Corino and getting the pinfall. The four men blended pretty well in the ring and it provided some exciting action for the fans. LyNN looked especially good in this match and this just proved that he is one of the elite in the NWL.
vs. Match #6; Matt Justice & Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Kevin Hart & Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 27:30 of action, in a win that moved them into first place, Matt Justice was once again the man who picked up the HUGE win for the Evolution, after catching Bockwinkel with a Double Underhook Powerbomb. Kevin Hart really tried his all to get the win for New York, which is desperately needed, but Justice crushed those dreams after nailing Bockwinkel. Sanchez Jr. & Hart got real stiff with each other at one moment in the match and the crowd was extremely hot for it. An excellent way to end the night in Hartford!
- The next time we visit Hartford might be in the playoffs, but for now, we have to say goodbye! We see you folks next tomorrow night in New York! GOODNIGHT HARTFORD!

Nice show man. Nice that Diamond got a win, he could be a contributer to the team in the future, especially the playoffs. Glad that Ace and Curtis got the win as that's three people who got wins this show, and Red Dragon didn't even compete. I think that proves that LA are in it to win it.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! New York, NY 11/22/09 - 12:30 PM Attendance: 4,941
We are live here and it is barely noon here in New York City! An almost sell out and we are glad to see people come out early for some NWL action! Jimmy Pietrafesa here and today, the New York Crush look to move back into first place in the Eastern Conference! Will they be able to do it? Let's find out!
vs. Match #1; Chris Hammers & Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Matt Justice & Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 20:54 of action, to open up this afternoon extravaganza, Matt Justice was AGAIN the man who picked up the big win for the Evolution, after catching Anderson with a Double Underhook Powerbomb. Justice has been absolutely on fire as of late and he is leading the way to the playoffs for the Evolution. Hammers was once again frustrated during the match and didn't hold it back.
- After the bell, Chris Hammers walked out of the ringside area without his partner and Anderson seemed very confused. Hammers is definitely not happy!
vs. Match #2; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 16:30 of action, LyNN took home a big win for the Warriors here, following a big Springboard Tornado DDT and pinfall in a great match. Corino & LyNN have some nice chemistry in the ring and you could tell that both men really wanted this match for their teams. LyNN seemed pretty intense and wouldn't let up on Corino. The crowd was also very happy about this one, as it gets New York farther into the playoffs!
vs. Match #3; Nick Jacobs & Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Tom Diamond & Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 26:13 of action, in a 'BotB' finals rematch within a tag team match, Ace Bennett once again came out on top for the Most Wanted, after he caught Nick Jacobs with a huge Syracuse Drop and got the three count before Kevin Hart could break up the pin. Bennett & Diamond worked pretty well as a team and really dominated most of the match. Jacobs brought Hart down big time and the fans were very upset following the results of this one.
- Intermission -
- It was announced that both Trace Demon & Kevin Shamrock will be returning to captain their respective teams! REMEMBER CAPTAINS, SEND A MESSAGE TO JEFF GOMEZ IF YOU'D LIKE TO CONTINUE CAPTAINING YOUR TEAM NEXT YEAR!
vs. Match #4; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 17:09 of action, the Evolution picked up their second win of the night, to the crowd's dismay, after Kevin Shamrock caught Thompson with the Famine Driver. The crowd was really disappointed with the result of this one, but the action was really good. Shamrock has been on fire, as has the whole Evolution and its good to see some straight action coming back from a break!
vs. Match #5; Shannon Moore & Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] vs. Red Dragon & Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 24:59 of action, this tag match was definitely hard fought, but it was Red Dragon who helped the Most Wanted emerge victorious following a Red Dragon Driver on Moore. The Brawlers have been struggling big time as of late, but the Most Wanted just keep getting better. Curtis & Dragon really worked excellently has a team and the Most Wanted sweep again tonight.
vs. Match #6; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 17:38 of action, the New York fans went home very disappointed tonight, after Trace Demon handed the Crush their second loss, following a Demonstration of Hell in a decent match to end the show. Demon really dominated the match and Bockwinkel, who was crazy as ever, barely got any offense in. The crowd was very disappointed as the show came to a close. The Crush have put themselves in a hole here.
- We return to New York one last time this season on the 7th of December! We also rejoin you folks 5 days from now in Las Vegas for the final Vegas show!

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Las Vegas, NV 11/27/09 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 5,000
We are here for what could be the last show in Las Vegas this year for the NWL! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa, of course, and tonight, the Blitz look to move up into playoff contention with only 5 shows to go following this one! What will happen tonight as tensions are flying high as the season is winding down?!
vs. Match #1; LyNN & Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Devin Curtis & Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 23:48 of action, to open up the show in a fantastic way, it was Assassin who was able to score the big pinfall for the Warriors, after catching Devin Curtis with the Assassin's Way. The crowd actually wanted the Most Wanted to win, so after Assassin was able to get the win, the crowd knew tonight was going to be a long one. LyNN & Assassin wanted this one much more than the Most Wanted and it showed during the match.
vs. Match #2; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 14:50 of action, I bet you aren't surprised when I say that Matt Justice picked up YET another win for the Evolution, after crushing Corino with a Double Underhook Suplex and a three count. Justice has just been the hottest man in the NWL since the Best of the Best tournament and he showed it here again. The crowd actually got behind him here and these two gave them a reason to cheer, as the match was very good!
- Following the bout, the two men shook hands out of respect. Justice has been absolutely on fire lately and he is carrying the Evolution into the promise land.
vs. Match #3; Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 16:21 of action, in a halfway decent match that sent the crowd into the intermission upset, Kevin Hart locked Anderson into the Sharpshooter and made him submit in the center of the ring in front of the Las Vegas fans! The two made had some chemistry in the ring, but the match really wasn't the best. Hart looked absolutely awesome and Anderson didn't look that bad. This match just sent the Blitz farther into last place!
- Intermission -
- Since its the final night in Las Vegas this regular season, each fan will receiver a $10 voucher on the '2009: Best of the Las Vegas Blitz' DVD which will be released this winter following the playoffs!
vs. Match #4; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 28:27 of action, in one of the best matches of the year, these two all-stars of the NWL put on a real wrestling clinic for the fans and Ace Bennett was able to come out on top following a Syracuse Drop and the pinfall. Sanchez really looked like he was going to beat Bennett, but Ace, in usual Ace fashion, came out of nowhere and ended the match very abruptly. There were a ton of falls finishes in the match also, but the crowd didn't want the match to end.
- Afterward, Ace & Duan had a nice handshake/hug in the middle of the ring. We could have just seen the preview of the 'Series Invitational' finals!
vs. Match #5; Mike Bockwinkel & Nick Jacobs [New York Crush] vs. Tim Smith & Shannon Moore [Boston Brawlers] - After 17:04 of action, Mike Bockwinkel get the second win for New York here tonight, at the expense of the Brawlers' second loss, following the Bockwinkel Special on Shannon Moore. Jacobs scored his first victory since coming back from the minors and he looked at his best tonight. Moore has been very disappointing since losing his first match a few weeks ago and Smith just keeps suffering losses. The crowd really didn't care for this match.
vs. Match #6; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 24:17 of action, in one of the biggest upsets of the year, Brian Thompson send the fans home EXTREMELY disappointed after catching Chris Hammers, who seemed very distracted throughout the match, with the Roll the Dice. Thompson was getting pretty dominated for most of the match, but Hammers would stray away from his opponent and just lazily handle the match. Thompson finally caught Hammers by surprising with the Roll the Dice and sent him home with a loss.
- Thank you for a wonderful season Las Vegas! We see you folks next 3 days from now for the final Los Angeles show of the season!

Big win for Chi-Town in the opener but we're basically in the playoffs so you can see why they didn't put it all in it, I can see Tr-State doing well during the playoffs now that Justice is on a roll and Duan is great anyway, suprised you didn't put Duan over Ace saying that Aced din't care much for the match but I guess theres no taking breaks for Ace, sad that Smith keeps losing because he was on a win streak and a top competitor but I guess he won't be captain next season now that Kame is gone, Hammers is also like Smith sad to see it happen, LA show up next I'm hoping we get at least one win, GL and keep this up
