I defeating Steve Corino was amazing. I love that the crowd is starting to get behind me and that Steve and I put on a stellar match. Ace Bennett of Los Angeles Most Wanted defeating Duan Sanchez Jr. was a huge upset.

The Tri-State are probably the hottest team heading into the playoffs now, well technically Matty Justice is but we are all champs

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Los Angeles, CA 11/30/09 - 8:30 PM Attendance: 5,000
Even though we are in California, we cannot escape the chill of winter and tonight, will the Most Wanted escape with a few wins over their opponents for the last time this regular season in front of their home crowd? I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and the answer to that question will be coming up shortly! What else will happen tonight as the NWL has just four shows left after this one? Let's get to the action!
vs. Match #1; Shannon Moore [Boston Brawlers] vs. Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] - After 15:24 of action, in a pretty lackluster way to open up the final show in Los Angeles, Brian Thompson was able to put Shannon Moore down fairly easy after nailing him with the Roll the Dice. Thompson has been on a roll lately and he is helping the Warriors clinch playoff birth, while Moore and the Brawlers are just falling deeper with every loss.
vs. Match #2; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 17:52 of action, the destruction of the once again Las Vegas Blitz continued here tonight, after Mike Bockwinkel was able to put Ken Anderson down quickly with the Bockwinkel Special. Sure, the match went for almost 20 minutes, but most of it was Bockwinkel doing some crazy antics during the match which sidetracked the actual action. The crowd was starting to laugh with Bockwinkel by the end of the bout and Bockwinkel just basically put on a match for laughs...kinda like Colt Cabana.
vs. Match #3; Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] - After 15:32 of action, the LA crowd seemed pretty disappointed after this one, as Kevin Shamrock was able to score the victory for the Evolution, following the Famine Driver on Diamond with the pinfall. These two were really good in the ring together and the crowd was definitely into it. Diamond just fell short of getting the win and Shamrock saw an open door following that. The crowd didn't get mad that Diamond lost, just wasn't expecting it!
- Intermission -
- As was the case in Hartford & Las Vegas, the fans who attended this show will receive a $10 voucher on the '2009: Best of the Los Angeles Most Wanted' DVD, which is due out in the winter!
- Ace Bennett, the Best of the Best winner, was presented with a plaque commemorating the first ever 'Best of the Best' winner in 2009! Definitely a nice little quick ceremony for Ace in front of his fans!
vs. Match #4; LynN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 26:54 of action, two of the elite members of the NWL did battle when we came back from intermission and it was LyNN who walked out victorious, in what some might say an upset. LyNN was able to get the win following a crushing Springboard Tornado DDT and pinfall, right after he got to the ropes from a sharpshooter that Hart had locked in. The fans really enjoyed this one also and it definitely added to the action! Some great action for the crowd here!
- Afterward, the two men shared a handshake following a quick hug!
vs. Match #5; Duan Sanchez Jr. & Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon & Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 21:39 of action, the hot duo of the Evolution, Justice & Duan Sanchez Jr., were able to get YET another win for their team here, after nailing Trace Demon with a SGM, after Chris Hammers stared into space the entire match. This match could have been excellent, but it seems that Chris Hammers has completely given up on his team and captain in the one and that made the match easy for the Evolution. Justice looked great again and I feel like I'm repeating myself every night because of these guys!
- Following the bell, Trace Demon asked Hammers what was wrong with him, but Hammers just walked out without an explanation. Something is seriously wrong within the Blitz.
vs. Match #6; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] - After 25:47 of action, in a rematch from one of the best feuds this year in the NWL, Red Dragon was once again the man who came out on top, following the Red Dragon Driver, in front of his fans! These two put on another epic encounter and Tim Smith definitely looked his best in weeks. He just couldn't put Dragon down long enough for the win and Dragon was just too much for Smith. The crowd absolutely loved this one and it was a great way to end the regular season in LA!
- Thank you for a wonderful season Los Angeles, see you come playoff time! We join you guys next in December, on the 2nd to be exact, in Boston! Keep warm everyone!

I haven't had the time to reply lately, but I have been following. I see that I've been very up and down lately, but I hope to pick it up soon and finally beat Ace Bennett. Can't wait for the Playoffs man.

I was surprised to see Kevin Shamrock in the undercard for this edition of NWL LIVE! I love that Kevin Shamrock defeated the home crowd’s Tom Diamond as it roves Tri-State Evolution is dominate from coast to coast. I am more than satisfied to see Duan Sanchez Jr. and I defeat Trace Demon and Chris Hammer. It was cool to see Red Dragon score a victory in the main event and in front of his home crowd.

Awesome show once again man. Sucks that Diamond lost he seemed to be on a little roll there for a second. Glad that Red Dragon got the win and LA broke even for the night.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Boston, MA 12/02/09 - 7:00 PM Attendance: 4,672
Many great wrestling fans have made their way to Boston, in the freezing cold, for one of the last four shows this regular season for the NWL! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the Brawlers look to snap out of their current massive funk and get on the track towards the playoffs. What does the NWL have in store for us tonight? We are about to find out!
vs. Match #1; Nick Jacobs [New York Crush] vs. Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] - After 14:52 of action, in pretty much a dud of an opener, Brian Thompson was able to continue his roll of late following a Roll the Dice on Jacobs. Nick has been absolutely terrible for the Crush this year and Thompson had no real trouble putting him down for the win. The crowd also enjoyed seeing this as a New York loss just moves the Brawlers closer to contention!
vs. Match #2; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 17:48 of action, in what should have been a good match, but really wasn't, Duan Sanchez Jr was able to score the Evolution another big win here, following a SGM onto Anderson. The two men really couldn't connect in the match and it led to a letdown in the crowds eyes. Sanchez looked pretty well though, but Anderson and the Blitz just cannot find their groove.
vs. Match #3; Shannon Moore [Boston Brawlers] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 20:41 of action, these two competitors put on a less than stellar match for the Boston crowd, who became disappointed after Devin Curtis connected with a 450 Splash to get the win for the Most Wanted. Once again, the lack of chemistry between the two competitors really brought the match down and Curtis basically had to lead the entire match, with Moore being very lazy. All in all, this match wasn't the best way to go into an intermission.
- Intermission -
- This week's NWL Roundup will feature an update on the draft, team captains, the playoffs, minor leagues and of course, the top 10 of the week! Be sure to check it out right after this show!
vs. Match #4; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] - After 27:20 of action, these two men were able to get the crowd back into the show, while putting on one of the better matches of the year! Ace Bennett was the one who came out victorious though, after he drilled LyNN with a Syracuse Drop and got the three count. This match didn't mean much to the crowd and I think that's why they enjoyed it so much. A ton of chemistry between the two made the match really enjoyable and maybe one of the best this year!
- Following the bell, the two men shook hands and the fans gave them a standing ovation. Hopefully these two meet in the first round of the playoffs again!
vs. Match #5; Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 23:13 of action, in another great match between two of the best competitors today, Kevin Hart took home the victory for New York, to the crowd's dismay, after Hammers submitted to the Sharpshooter. Hammers just seems to be not into his matches as of late and its really killing his record. Hart looked extremely well in the match and became very passionate halfway through, really wanting the win in front of these fans. A great match between these two, but it definitely could have been better!
vs. Match #6; Tim Smith & Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Kevin Shamrock & Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] - After 25:23 of action, the crowd went home extremely disappointed, as their team was officially eliminated from playoff contention, following a Famine Driver from Kevin Shamrock to Steve Corino. The Brawlers NEEDED to win this match to stay alive, since Kevin Hart got the victory earlier in the evening, but Shamrock & Justice thought otherwise. Both playoff matches are now set and Justice/Shamrock couldn't be more happy!
- We return to Boston for the closing of the first ever Regular season in NWL, on the 10th of December and see you next on December 5th, 3 days from now! Stay warm everyone!

NWL.com - From the way it looks now, the Boston Brawlers will have the first pick in the draft. The team with the worse record gets the first pick and the team with the best record, the Most Wanted, will get the last pick in the draft. Since the draft consists of 3 rounds, each team must sign 2 out of the 3 draft picks. The team can also sign all three, it won't count against them! - By the looks of it, Tim Smith will not be returning as Boston team captain next year and he may not return at all. He has not contacted Jeff Gomez about resigning a contract and it looks like someone will have to step up and become captain. - The two playoff series have been set now that the Brawlers were officially eliminated. The Los Angeles Most Wanted will host the Chicago Warriors in the Western Conference and it is unknown who will host the match up, but the Tri-State Evolution will take on the New York Crush. - To squash the rumor, no new teams will be added next year in the NWL. The idea has been thrown out and the NWL likes the amount they have now. - Evan Pagano [New York Crush] had a minor setback in recovery and will be out until the beginning of the playoffs. - Minor League Update: This will be the final minor league update of the year. Not much to report, Sean Shafer & Eddy Valentino seem to be the bright spots down here and both are hoping for a call up. Top 10 of the Week:1. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 1 (/)] 2. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] [Last Week: 3 (+1)]3. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] [Last Week: 2 (-1)]4. Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 4 (/)] 5. Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] [Last Week: 5 (/)] 6. Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] [Last Week: 6 (/)] 7. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 8 (+1)]8. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] [Last Week: 9 (+1)]9. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] [Last Week: 10 (+1)]10. Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] [Last Week: 7 (-3)]

So glad Devin got the win putting him back on track for the playoffs, Ace/LyNN sounded awsome glad Ace proved he's top dog, sad that the Brawlers are out but as Kame is gone theres no point in pushing them, I don't understand the draft, I like the number of teams at the moment and with Smith not comming back hopefully we get a good new captain, suprised at LyNN jumping to 2, good luck and keep this up

Duan Sanchez Jr. pulling through with the victory over Ken Anderson of Las Vegas Blitz is terrific. I am so pumped that Kevin Shamrock and I were able to defeat Boston Brawler’s Tim Smith & Steve Corino to go through yet another card undefeated. Tri-State Evolution has proven to be a dominate force the last couple of shows and we have a lot of momentum going. I am hoping that Tri-State will take down New York Crush in the playoffs. I am very pleased to see myself still in the Top 10 along with Duan Sanchez Jr

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Chicago, IL 12/05/09 - 1:00 PM Attendance: 5,000
We may be in the day time here in Chicago, but it still very brisk outside and inside the arena isn't much better! The NWL is here to bring you the final regular season show in Illinois and I, Jimmy Pietrafesa, will be covering the competition! Will we see the Warriors do some good at their last home show?
vs. Match #1; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] - After 15:32 of action, these two captains kicked off the action this afternoon and Tim Smith emerged victorious from the encounter after nailing Bockwinkel with a STO. This is Smith's first win in quite some time and he seemed determine to shut down Bockwinkel. At one point, he seemed very stiff in the ring and Bockwinkel seemed to break out of his craziness and act normal for the first time in quite a while. Smith still was able to start the night off right for the now eliminated Boston Brawlers!
vs. vs. Match #2; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 21:18 of action, Matt Justice and the red hot Evolution got another victory in this triple threat match, following a Double Underhook Suplex on Anderson. Diamond, who wasn't apart of the pinfall, had himself a great match, one of the best we've seen from him, but Justice has just been on fire lately and nothing can put him down. This win moves the Evolution into some home field advantage for the playoffs!
vs. Match #3; Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 24:31 of action, in a halfway decent match between two Western Conference captains, Red Dragon was able to give the Most Wanted a win here and pull away with another one, following a Red Dragon Driver. This match could have been a preview for the playoffs which is coming up shortly and Dragon dominated the most part of it. Assassin gave the crowd something to cheer for with his flurries of offense, but it was nothing like what Dragon did in the ring.
- Intermission -
- Fans who attended the final regular season show in Chicago tonight will receive a $10 voucher for '2009: Best of the Chicago Warriors', a DVD that will be released during the offseason. All DVD match listings will be released following the end of the playoffs!
vs. Match #4; Duan Sanchez Jr. & Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Chris Hammers & Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 17:51 of action, once again Chris Hammers really didn't do much in the match and left his partner hanging alone. This lead to Kevin Shamrock nailing his captain adversary Demon with a Famine Driver and the three count then ensued. The match itself seemed a bit one-sided, as Trace Demon was trying to fight off two red-hot opponents all by himself. Eventually, Demon succumbed to the Evolution and Tri-State eventually walked away with another win!
- Following the match, Trace Demon started shouting at Chris Hammers, but Hammers couldn't care less. Hammers then once again walked out on his captain.
vs. vs. Match #5; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] - After 26:54 of action, in a really excellent way to end the season in Chicago, LyNN was able to score the victory in this triple threat over the man he just surpassed in the top 10 standings, Kevin Hart. LyNN nailed Hart with a Springboard Tornado DDT, while Corino was down on the outside, and LyNN was able to get the clean pin. Hart & LyNN seemed to be down each other's throats the whole match and Corino really fell by the wayside. The fans absolutely loved this finish!
- THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL SEASON CHICAGO! We resumed action 2 days from now, for the final show in my home town, New York!

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! New York, NY 12/07/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 5,000
I say 'Welcome Home' tonight for the final time this year, as we are live for the final regular season show in New York City! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, the Crush look to get some wins infront of their fans here for the last time! The air may be chilly, but the action is just heating up folks! Let's go down to ringside for the action!
vs. Match #1; Brian Thompson & Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Shannon Moore & Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] - After 15:42 of action, the Boston Brawlers continued their downfall in this match, following Assassin nailing Shannon Moore with the Assassin's Way and getting the pinfall. The Warriors looked pretty excellent in this match and Smith continued to be on point. The crowd was pretty happy to see their division rival go down, but they weren't really too enthused with this match to begin with.
vs. Match #2; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] - After 26:51 of action, in an excellent match that kept the crowd going for the entire almost half-hour, Ace Bennett brought Matt Justice back to reality by ending his massive win streak here, following a Syracuse Drop. These two found some great chemistry during the match and put on an AMAZING match. Justice appeared to have the match locked up, but that is just Ace's way. He battled out of it and won the match for LA!
- Following the bout, Bennett & Justice shook hands out of respect. Some excellent sportsmanship between these two gentleman!
vs. Match #3; Nick Jacobs [New York Crush] vs. Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 14:21 of action, in a pretty big dud here, the New York crowd were definitely disappointed in Nick Jacobs, who got his ass kicked by Ken Anderson in this one and Anderson finished off with the Kenton Bomb. Anderson definitely was dominate in the match and Jacobs has just been bringing the Crush down since coming in for Pagano. The crowd actually became pretty restless after the match and the boos poured in for Nick Jacobs.
- Intermission -
- You might have guessed, but, each member in the audience tonight will feature a voucher for $10 off '2009: Best of the New York Crush', the DVD, which is due out this winter!
vs. vs. vs. Match #4; Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 27:32 of action, in the NWL's first ever fatal four way match, it was Devin Curtis who emerged victorious surprisingly, because he was knocked out all match. Curtis was kicked hard in the head by LyNN and he was left down for a good part of the match. In the end, the three men were canceling each other out and Curtis finally got himself up to nail senton drop onto Corino and he got the quick pinfall. The crowd was definitely shocked to see Curtis get the victory, but they were satisfied with the match!
vs. Match #5; Mike Bockwinkel & Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Kevin Shamrock & Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 24:18 of action, the crowd seemed to be extremely disappointed in their team tonight, as Kevin Shamrock was finally able to grab some revenge on Mike Bockwinkel tonight, as he nailed him with the Famine Driver and the pinfall. Hart & Sanchez Jr. really had some nice time in the ring and the crowd was definitely into the match, just upset with the ending to the regular season here!
- THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SEASON NEW YORK, NEW YORK! We join everyone in 3 days for the FINAL event this regular season in Boston, MA! PLAYOFFS ARE ALMOST HERE!
