- Speaking of that brawl, it’s said that Jim Cornette booked the entire segment from start to finish. Everyone was praising Cornette’s work for it after the show. You can view some footage of the brawl at this link.

It was the most entertaining thing TNA has done in quite some time really.......doesnt surprise me Cornette was behind it, however as I said in another thread it isnt exactly "original" so unless someone has something up their sleeves, TNA will start to suck again in about a week or two

It was pretty awesome, it really showed the chaos that the locker room, really did feel like a war was taking place probably one of the best segments I've seen TNA done in a while. But hopefully the whole "War" situation will not interfere with matches, I'd like to see clean finishes instead of interferences, leave the brawling after the match.

It was a cluster imo Agreed. It was overrated, and I don't throw that term around a lot. Especially when interference and random ringside brawling is commonplace in TNA.

Cornette has one of the best minds for the business. I'd love to see him take more of an active role in the company.

The segment would have been better if it wasn't for the ending.

To be exact I don't think it was necessarily his idea, he just put the whole thing together like Pat Patterson did the Royal Rumble matches. Still, kudos to one of my favorite guys in the business.

The fact that bubba hitting the table with the chair on booker looked as weak as hell like he wasn't even trying, nash hitting foley with that clothes rail what ever looked really lame and the ammount of trash can shots were just too much to take the brawl seriously imo.

buh buh looked like he was really taking it easy with those chair shots... doug williams was the only one who made it look good, taking a couple good chair and garbage can shots. unfortunately, the best action was probably in the ring with mcmg and daniels/ey, akira and bashir, and thats what they showed the least of.

Oh heres Kevin Nash.....Oh heres Mick Foley......Oh heres Kurt Angle.....Oh heres Sting......Oh heres Samoa Joe.......Oh heres Bobby Lashley etc. That's what made it realistic. Most the time in a brawl, eveyone comes down at once, but instead, they came down one by one. In my opinion, the brawl was not a cluster at all. It was played out very well, and the ending was great. My only problem with it was that it was in the middle of the show, and they continued the show as if nothing had happened. Should have been at the end of the show.

Yeah, having seen the preview, I expected the brawl to close the show... and for Impact to go off the air, after the police arrived - not for it to be in stuck in the middle of the broadcast... That's TNA for you though... they everything up..

I thought the brawl was good. But I think the IWC has over rated it. It wasnt amazing or anything.

I thought the brawl was good. But I think the IWC has over rated it. It wasnt amazing or anything. It wasnt. And it's certainly not the godsend that TNA needs to turn things around. But instead of making this a productive angle, it'll be an anomoly like anything good tna rarely does, and thrown on the backburner. Cornette will get demoted and we'll get 6 more weeks of ___________on a pole matches. Sorry, I just cant be optimistic about anything in tna right now until I see titles and pushes on young up and coming talent and not just for one show.
