Feud Summary
The current holder of the prestigious ROH World Championship is “A Double” Austin Aries, he is the only man ever to win the ROH World title twice. Aries has recently started the “A Double L Double” a lottery in which Aries picks his next opponent from a hat. Aided by “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus and “The Pretty Boy Pitbull” Aries looks to stay on top of ROH for a very long time.
In some of the biggest news in ROH history Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness both signed contracts with World Wrestling Entertainment. Although both men have now finished with ROH they still have a few matches yet to be shown on HDNet.
ROH’s rising star Tyler Black took a bump recently in his rise to the World Title after a loss to wrestling legend Jerry Lynn (after some interference from McGuinness) After this Lynn showed respect to the young lion by winning a tag match with him, is it only a matter of time before Black gets his hands on the World Title?
ROH boasts the best tag team division in the whole of wrestling and little can argue with such teams as they Young Bucks, Kevin Steen and El Generico and the Briscoe Brothers. On top of the hill are the current ROH Tag Team Champions the American Wolves recently coming off a sick ladder war in which Edwards competed with a broken elbow. How will the champs continue with such an injury?
Other feuds in ROH include the heated rivalry between “That Young Knockout Kid” Chris Hero and Eddie Kingston. These two will settle the score once and for all next time on HDNet in a Fight Without Honour. Other stars looking to prove themselves in ROH include the agile Kenny Omega, the Japanese sensation KENTA and the Prince Nana led stable of The Embassy.

This should be awesome. Will be interesting to see where you go with ROH following the loss of Danielson and McGuiness. Push Kenny King, Chris Hero, Davey Richards & please put the strap on Tyler Black.

Episode 3119.10.09 The show started straight away with the music of the high-flying Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson. As they entered the ring our commentators Mike Hogewood and Dave Prazak welcome us and show a video package of the history between these teams. A few weeks back the Bucks defeated the Dark City Fight Club and even more recently eliminated them from the honour rumble. Young Bucks versus Dark City Fight ClubA real good opening contest the contrast in styles made for a very good bout. Cory Chavis and John Davis controlled the majority of the match with little sprints of offence from the Jackson brothers. After being isolated from his brother, Nick made the tag to Nick who took their opponents out with a double missile dropkick. From there the Bucks went on a roll even trying the More Bang For Your Buck but was unable to lift their opponents. The Dark City capitalised with the Project Mayhem. Winners Dark City Fight ClubThe camera cuts to backstage where Claudio Castagnoli is with Prince Nana and “Dirty” Ernie Osiris. Claudio and Nana are talking about their hate for America when they spot Bobby Dempsey. Upon inspection of his locker room he is eating from a big bag of nachos, Claudio and Nana waste little time in mocking him before knocking his nachos on the floor. Dempsey jumps to his feet and comes head to head with Claudio. Claudio Castagnoli versus Bobby Dempsey Just a quick squash match involving Claudio European Uppercutting the hell out of much heavier Dempsey. Dempsey had little offence but Claudio cut him off quickly. Claudio went for a Ricola Bomb much to the surprise of the plans but couldn’t hit it on the big man. Just when Dempsey was getting into the swing of things after a big splash in the corner Claudio body slammed him and went to the middle rope. Claudio then leaped off hitting a Diving European Uppercut knocking out Dempsey and getting the Pinfall. Winner Claudio CastagnoliBackstage interviewer Kyle Durden was backstage with ROH World Champion Austin Aries. “Double A” went through his usual cockiness and disrespects of Durden before stating that the “A Double, L Double” will return for the third time on HDNet, next week. The commentators then showed a graphic hyping the match before returning to ringside. Jerry Lynn versus Sonjay DuttFast pace is the best words to describe this match as both Dutt and Lynn flew about the ring throughout the match. The crowd were mostly pro-Lynn however there were a small section of fans booing the former ROH World Champion. Sonjay hit the Bomay Blast for a close count then locked in the Camel Clutch. Lynn eventually got to the ropes and made a comeback following with a Cradle Piledriver for the victory. Winner Jerry LynnKyle Durden was backstage standing between rivals Nigel McGuinness and Roderick Strong who will be meeting in a match next week. Like recent weeks Nigel talked about his hate for Strong’s morals. Strong defended himself then Nigel mocked him back. The two looked like they were going to come to blows before Durden sent us back to ringside. A graphic then popped up advertising that the two will be facing off in next weeks main event. Next up was the main event and the ring announcer called the match a Fight Without Honour and as usual it will have television time remaining. "That Young Knockout Kid" Chris Hero was welcomed out first with Shane Hagadorn and Sara Del Rey but before he couldl enter the ring Eddie Kingston leaped over the barricade and attacked him starting the match. Fight Without Honour Chris Hero versus Eddie KingstonA great brawling match with both men going blow to blow with each other, soon after the match started Kingston threw Hero in the crowd. After dealing with Hagadorn with a sharp punch to the face he went after his nemesis who took advantage with a chair shot. After brawling in the crowd for roughly ten minutes they went back to ringside with Hero now bleeding from the forehead. Kingston got a 2 count on the entrance ramp after a sick backdrop driver so they went back into the ring. Hero was able to fight back in the ring until both men hit the mat after Hero hit the Roaring Elbow and Kingston hit the Backfist. After taking over a minute to recuperate both men got up and Kington hit an overhead Suplex. However Sara Del Rey jumped on the apron and distracted Eddie but he didn’t so no mercy smacking her with a punch to the face. This allowed Hagadorn to pass the loaded elbow pad to Hero which he then used to hit Eddie with to pull out the win. Winner Chris HeroThe bloodied Hero rolled to the outside into the arms of Shane Hagadorn, Shane and Hero then slowly made their way up the entrance ramp as this edition of ROH on HDNet comes to a close. - Solid opening contest, I'm a fan of both teams and eventually see the Dark City Fight Club picking up the tag titles. - Nice segment with Claudio and Nana setting up the next match. - I like Bobby but he just seems like a guy who shouldn't be pushed to any titles. Claudio getting the win was the right call. - Austin Aries always delivers on his promos. - Jerry Lynn vs Sonjay Dutt is fantastic, big fan of both and although Sonjay could of really used the win, I am glad Jerry Lynn is still hanging in there with some victories. - nice segment with Nigel McGuiness and Roderick Strong. - Fantastic bloody main event, happy that Chris Hero won though I love both of 'em. Hope to see Hero get the world title soon.
Great first show, Dragon. Hope you post quick results for the live shows or something, that's where most of the title changes take place. Also, I don't normally ask but can I get a reply to WWF 2000, it's stuck on Page 2. =(

-I was unaware that there have been 30 episodes of ROH on HDNet -Excellent opener, two of my favorite ROH tag teams. Good to see the Dark City Fight Club even the score with the Young Bucks -Claudio over Dempsey was the obvious call -The return of the "A Double, L Double" should be fun -Lynn over Dutt reminds me on an X Division match in TNA from like '06. Good stuff -Awesome main event, better thatn the Hero/Kingston match I saw live. Anyway, glad Hero won, he needed it
Great start, next week should be good too, looking forward to Nigel/Strong

Ring Of Honor Wrestling: Monday 19th October 2009...Alright, good way to start us off, but it didn't really do an extreme amount for the Young Bucks, but if I am honest, Dark City Fight Club are really not good in this environment in my opinion. I saw them wrestle once, and good lord, they are dead weight. I can really mainly see them being the whipping boys of Mark and Jay, the Briscoe Brothers. Good old Prince Nana with Claudio Castagnoli. I liked that segment, but damn they are just going to annihilate Bobby Dempsey. Predictable win for Castagnoli, suppose it got him over more. I can really see him becoming a future ROH World Champion at this rate, he has the momentum of a God. Jerry Lynn beating Sonjay Dutt is fine. I can't see Lynn doing a whole lot more after losing the ROH World Championship, maybe you could run with some sort of retirement match? There's not a whole lot Lynn could do except degrade himself to putting other, younger talent over. Alright, a great Fight Without Honor to finish off episode 31 of ROH on HDNet. I love Chris Hero's continuation of using his loaded elbow pad, but I really despise that gimmick weapon. As a wrestler who could potentially be the next big person ROH has to offer, he needs to start looking somewhat credible after losing Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness to WWE. Anyways, a good show overall, I am liking this diary man. Keep it up.

- Young Bucks are great, fantastic opening contest. - Not too big a fan of Dark City Fight Club, but it should be interesting to see where they go in this diary. - Enjoyed the little Claudio/Dempsey segment, the nachos part made me laugh. - Squash match served its purpose, hope to see Castagnoli go far in this diary. - Look forward to the return of the 'A Double, L Double' - Dutt and Lynn would be an excellent match, like the realism of some fans booing Lynn. - Strong/McGuinness sounds great. - Fight without Honour sounded brilliant, like Hero going over here, and like Castagnoli, hope to see him go far.
Very enjoyable first show, I am loving the layout, and can't wait for next week's episode!

- Wanted Young Bucks to win,i enjoy the. I hope the belts are slapped on them. DCFC wining is ok, they good be good tag champs to. - Claudio Castagnoli winging was nice, but i saw it coming. - Yea they are back! - Sounds like a back and fourth match. I like Lynn coming out on top as him as champ again would be great, and because it was a close match it didn't hurt Dutt - I like how the main event came out with blood, I like Hero with the win because he is my favorite. I hope He gets a title shot vs Austin soon, that would be a classic.
I really enjoyed this first show, look forward to the next one.

Episode 3226.10.09 The show kicked off with ROH World Champion strutting down to the ring with the title on his shoulder. Kenny King and Rhett Titus followed modelling the final two hats in the running to be used for this edition of the “A Double L Double.” Aries did his usual hype before going to ask the crowd about which hat to use before the music of Colt Cabana played. “Classic” Colt Cabana came out and talked about how many of the people backstage feel that the “A Double L Double” is fixed. Colt suggested they use his hat, a Philadelphia baseball hat which drew a huge amount of applause from the fans. After pausing Aries accepted and King poured in all 17 names then Aries pulled out the name and announced the winner of the “A Double L Double” Colt Cabana! Before Aries could react Cabana left with the lucky ticket. D’Lo Brown versus Necro ButcherBoth men got a good applause from the crowd, although D’Lo is heel he still gets face pops. Necro as ever was over and came out with a steel chair, much to the dismay of the fans the referee took it away from him before the match. Necro is limited to what he can do but this was a good opener to the show. The fans loved the punch versus chop battle that raged on during the match and D’Lo’s frog splash, which earned him a two-count. After a hard fought battle it was Necro Butcher who ended up leaving with the win after a sick Tiger Driver in the centre of the ring. Winner Necro ButcherBackstage Kyle Durden was standing by with Prince Nana, Ernie Osiris and Jimmy Rave of the Embassy. Nana promoted the stable calling it “The most dominant force in ROH today” even comparing it to President Obama. The Prince said that next week they will invite a member of the ROH roster to join their elite team. The Briscoe Brothers versus The EmbassyThe Embassy consisted of “The Crown Jewel of the Embassy” Jimmy Rave and “Dirty” Ernie Osiris, they were accompanied by Prince Nana. As usual the fans littered the ring with toilet paper and sang “Die Jimmy die” throughout the match much to the annoyance of Nana and Rave. The Briscoe’s looked better than the Embassy thanks to years of teaming and the support from the crowd that came in “Man Up” chants. Rave was able to hold his own against the brothers while Osiris couldn’t and fell victim to the Spike Jay-Driller. Winners The Briscoe BrothersKyle Durden was backstage with Roderick Strong. Strong talked about his main event match against Nigel McGuinness later tonight. He said he’s going to make Nigel regret ever mocking him or the ROH crowd. As tonight he’s going to leave a “broken man.” ROH World Championship Match Austin Aries versus Colt CabanaAfter Aries entrance Cabana walked out happy to be receiving a ROH World Title shot. His happiness was cut short but Rhett Titus and Kenny King who attacked him before getting into the ring. Aries went on the mic and said that Cabana fixed the Lucky Lottery held earlier tonight and as a result he is disqualified. Instead he told Titus to get a new competitor and he brought out Sal Rinauro. Like the last two “A Double, L Double” this was just a squash match with a tiny amount of offence from Rinauro. After connecting with the head kick Aries drilled Rinauro with a Brainbuster to retain the title. Winner Austin AriesNigel McGuinness was now backstage with Kyle Durden and seemed very confident about his match-up next. He said he’s been in many challenging matches and tonight will not be one of them. Nigel seemed confident that Strong would lose tonight. The commentators hyped up next week’s main event with help from a graphic. It was announced as Bryan Danielson continuing his Final Countdown Tour facing one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions Davey Richards. Nigel McGuinness versus Roderick StrongA great main event with so much back and forth action, since coming back from injury Nigel has kept his matches much more mat based which was a great thing to see live. Strong kept up his trademark chops and within a few minutes Nigel’s chest was beating red with Strong’s handprint. After sending Nigel to the outside Strong took a suicide dive to the outside wiping out both himself and his opponent. After a head decapitating lariat on the outside the fans thought Nigel wouldn’t be able to get back into the ring but at the 18 count he was able to. After more back and forth action Strong tried for the Strong Hold but Nigel countered into the London Dungeon. Strong finally made it to the ropes and reversed a Jawbreaker Lariat into a Death by Roderick followed by the Sick Kick and finished with a Strong Hold which Nigel gave into. Winner Roderick StrongStrong celebrated his victory then went to follow the code of honor by shaking Nigel’s hand but Nigel refused and exited. This didn’t damage Strong’s happiness as he continued celebrating as the fans clapped in applause. COPYRIGHT 2009 RING OF HONOR WRESTLING, INC

Ring of Honor Wrestling: Monday 26th October 2009...Alright, let's see what we have here. Good way to open up the show there with Austin Aries, Kenny King and Rhett Titus entering, I am liking the sound of Colt Cabana challenging for the ROH World Championship tonight, also. Nice way to open up the show in in-ring competition as D'Lo Brown battled Necro Butcher. I really am not a fan of Necro, but it was a fair win for him I suppose. There isn't much for D'Lo to really do anyway. Again, I have never really liked Mark and Jay the Briscoe Brothers, but them beating the Embassy seemed pretty likely. Aslong as they don't regain the ROH World Tag Team Championships like...ever. I'm sort of confused as to why Austin Aries' match with Colt Cabana for the ROH World Championship didn't main event, but nontheless, it was a good win for Aries. A strong card here tonight, though, two main event worthy matches. Roderick Strong beating Nigel McGuinness is surprising. I see you are heading for a push for Strong, which is pretty good. Nigel rejecting the 'Code of Honor' is a nice touch, and it was a good show, better than last week's.

- A Double L Double is a good way to start the show, Cabana challenging for the title should be good. - D'lo vs. Necro is nice, Necro going over is probably the right choice, as it doesn't appear D'Lo is really going anywhere in ROH. - Nana! Love him. Interested to see who the new member will be, if there is one. - Briscoes/Embassy is cool, glad that Rave didn't take the pin. - Cabana vs. Aries is internesting, hope to see this feud continue after that ending. - Strong vs. Nigel sounded great, loved the write-up. Glad to see Strong going over, it is the only ending that makes sense really with Nigel leaving.
Once again, I really enjoyed this show. I am especially loving the format, and I think the amount of detail in the matches is just right. Keep this up!

Episode 3302.11.09 Delirious versus Rhett TitusROH on HDNet kicks straight off with single action with the masked Delirious accompanied by Daizee Haze taking on “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus. After handing his room key to one lucky lady in the audience the match kicked off. At first there was a lot of comedy spots with Delirious running rampant ringside and Titus hitting multiple thrusts directed at Daizee Haze. Dave Prazak mentioned the history between these two which lead to Delirious getting the final win however it seemed like the Muff Driver would do it for Titus only for Delious to kick out. Delirious battled on and flew off the top for Shadows Over Hell for the win. Winner DeliriousIn the interview set where Kyle Durden usually stands stood Shane Hagadorn complete with another 80’s style jacket. He introduced one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Davey Richards. Richards walked on and cut a great promo about how Danielson’s time in ROH is fading while the time is now for him. He pointed out tonight he would be the man walking out victorious. Prince Nana led his men Jimmy Rave, Ernie Osiris and Bison Smith to the ring. After the fans finished throwing toilet paper at them Nana began to speak. He reminded us of last week where he said he would invite someone into the Embassy. It turned out to be KENTA who came out refused to join then kicked the Embassy apart before hitting the GTS on Osiris. Nevaeh versus LuFistoThis was HDNet’s first look at Shimmer star LuFisto who completely dominated the smaller Nevaeh. For those unfamiliar with LuFisto’s work she is a brawler who is not afraid to battle with men or use hardcore. Nevaeh didn’t have much offence and the Philly fans chanted, “Kill the jobber” her. LuFisto held nothing back in this match and used her hands, elbows and feet to completely tear her opponent apart. After a sickening inverted Death Valley Driver (which resulted in a “Slap the Porpoise” comment from Mike Hogewood) LuFisto locked in LuFisto’s law and the referee called for the bell. Winner LuFistoA video replay of Austin Aries and Colt Cabana interactions played from last week with the commentators talking over the top. Prazak obviously sided with the ROH World Champion while Hogewood said that Aries’ attack was unjustified. A graphic then popped up advertising next weeks main event of Tyler Black, Jerry Lynn and Colt Cabana teaming up to face the team of Austin Aries, Kenny King, Rhett Titus. Bryan Danielson versus Davey RichardsQuite simply the best main event in all of ROH’s 33 episodes on HDNet toping the Danielson versus Black trilogy and the ROH Title Four Way. With Danielson’s last days in ROH approaching it seemed like he wanted to put on a classic on TV before he left and it was Davey Richards who helped him achieved that. As the match started the fans were pro-Danielson and anti-Richards but as the match continued the chants for Richards grew, even if he ignored them. Richards is continually proving himself to be one of ROH’s key stars of the future after using some of Bryan’s characteristics back at him including shouting “I have till 5” after Danielson got to the ropes after a Kimura and shouting back at the crowd “No! He’s gonna get his f*cking head kicked in” before unleashing a series of kicks. Danielson hit an amazing counter countering the Alarm Clock into a Crossface Chickenwing then Richards refused to submit to the repeated elbows. Shockingly it was Richards who walked away with the win after a DR Driver II. Winner Davey RichardsAfter the match the crowd chanted multiple different chants from “Thank you Danielson”, “M.O.T.Y” and “Best in the World.” Both men then got to their feet and Danielson went to follow the code of honour by shaking the hand of Richards. It looked like a repeat from last week where McGuinness didn’t shake but Richards gave a brief tap to Danielson’s hand before exiting with Hagadorn. COPYRIGHT 2009 RING OF HONOR WRESTLING, INC
