Horrible decision, but I can't deny how happy I am to see that Rua put on a good fight. Considering he pretty much got the title shot by default, it's nice to see he came prepared to win, and prepared to silence the critics.

NEVER leave it in the hands of the judges because outcomes like these are always certainly possible. That has got to be THE worst decision in the history of MMA. Seriously, how could they possibly have seen it all one way for Machida to earn a unanimous decision?? That's just not possible in the fight that I was watching. Not possible at all. We all agree with you on this one. Machida, despite him being my pick and me marking out when he won, lost that fight. Shogun was robbed, and blatantly so. I was on the edge of my seat and nervously shaking the entire fight. The body kicks and leg kicks absolutely destroyed Machida, along with Lyoto barely getting in any good offense. For me, Shogun won either 48-47 or 49-46.

This is one of the times where I am seriously at a loss for words. I don't even know what to say.

I want to see what Dana and the crowd at the conference have to say about this. Any idea on when the press conference starts?

I demand an immediate rematch asap. SERIOUSLY! I don't think I could handle this again. Seriously... I can't. OK... this Press Conference really needs to hurry the up. I am getting bored and NEED ANSWERS.

Dana: should of pressed more at the end of the rounds to make it easier to score WOW Forget the end of the rounds, in my opinion, he was doing more than enough during the rounds for the decision to go his way. I am still shaking my head on that atrocious decision. I just don't know what to make of it. I think Bruce Buffer made the worst mistake in his career. He announced the wrong winner to that fight. Oh, there was a unanimous decision alright, but it sure as hell wasn't for Machida. That much I do know.

Machida didnt win that fight, Shogun should get an INSTANT rematch, but what would come of this? If Shogun wins, its more like "Good, he should have won it in the first place" but what if Lyoto wins (not by controvery)? I dont think people will be happy. Lyoto/Shogun II will happen and hopefully the true Light Heavyweight champion will walk out on top 100% no questions asked.

Man, if there is an immediate rematch, all I am asking is for a new set of judges because the ones that were used tonight were beyond horrendous. They all need to be fired because they made it crystal clear to me and everyone else that they don't know what they are doing and how to properly judge an MMA fight.

I damn near jumped out of my seat when Machida was announced the winner. I would have bet both testicles he lost that fight. I can't say I'm upset because I really like Machida, but I agree with all of you in saying he DID NOT win that fight.

Dana: should of pressed more at the end of the rounds to make it easier to score WOW Comments like that truly make me question the legitimacy of some fights. How can anyone say something like that about a fight that was so clearly one-sided? I mean, you honestly could've made a case for the fight being 50-45 Shogun.
