I can see how this is going to back fire. Hogan: Book me against AJ Styles tonight with me winning the TNA title brother. Russo: Ok brother.. pull your pants down so i can suck your penorz. "You like how it blends in with my thigh? YAPPA PIE!"

You people are being way too critical. We really don't know anything yet..and nearly everything is speculation at this point. If it doesnt come from the Observer or prowrestling.net then I don't call it news. I'd say in a week to two weeks you will find out what Russo's position is, and what Hogan, Bischoff, etc are up to. Slow down before you say TNA is dead. Slow down before you buy into Honky Tonk Man's theories.. Just wait I don't think this will kill TNA. But I think it will hurt TNA financial-wise in the long run.

To answer your question, yes SG, TNA is second rate.I can't wait to see how this is going to fail. As long as the WWE is around, TNA (or any other company for that matter) is always going to be second-rate.

As long as the WWE is around, TNA (or any other company for that matter) is always going to be second-rate. Exactly. And it's not even a comparison of the product itself. Just look at the production value. TNA is getting better, I'll give them that, but there's just nothing like a nice polished WWE PPV or Show. It's like comparing the quality of "Transmorphers" to Transformers.

Hogan's really been making the media rounds. He was gold on Jimmy Fallon the other night though.

In an interview with Time Magazine, Hulk Hogan says that he chose to partner with TNA Wrestling instead of returning to World Wrestling Entertainment mostly because he wants to help the younger generation of wrestlers. To read the full interview, visit Time.com.
"When I woke up and realized I should be my own man and be responsible for being happy, I realized I still have a lot to contribute to the wrestling business," Hogan said. "And jumping into TNA and being a part of that company is huge. I have a chance to give back and help these young wrestlers who don't understand the business and the art form."
Hogan explains how the business has changed dramatically since the 1980s. "The business moves so much faster now," he responded. "It used to be if Andre the Giant and I had a feud, it'd probably play out six or seven months later at a big event. Nowadays, if Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan have a feud at 9 o'clock, it's usually over by 9:30. It's a story-telling art form to create emotion and drama and I just think a lot of that is lost."

If he wouldn't put Randy Orton or Shawn Michaels over i don't think Matt Morgan stands much of a chance.

The day Hulk Hogan lies down for Matt Morgan, is the day I will lose all faith in pro-wrestling.

Hulk Hogan isn't good enough for the TNA World Title. I'd give it to Eric Young instead.

I started watching wrestling very young and grew up loving Hogan. Due to that I still get a great feeling seeing him on a wrestling show so I'm glad he's gone to TNA.
I'm not a mark for many wrestlers but I'll always be a Hulk Hogan mark.

So, I finally got to see the highlights of the press conference, on Impact - and all I've got to say is... I love Hogan, and I have always been and always will be, a Hogan fan/mark... but it looks like ol Hulkster's, got some serious delusions of grandeur. TNA will NEVER be the biggest/leading company in sports entertainment/pro-wrestling, ever.
