Looks like Tom Thibodeau rejected the Hornets offer. Kinda glad, since Chris Paul would prefer Monty Williams. Right now the Hornets should do whatever they can to make that man happy... I seriously wouldn't mind Avery Johnson coaching the Hornets.

I seriously wouldn't mind Avery Johnson coaching the Hornets. Me neither at all. He loves New Orleans, I think he would fit perfectly.

The tribute sig above me is hilarious in a good way.
Feels like coaching has really thinned out these days.

Boston has been too strong in the playoffs to just fall apart here. When you think about it, what makes the Lakers team different than the one in 08 that lost to Boston? Ron Artest. He might hurt them more than help them. Aswell as Bynum in the lineup, but he's hurt (what a surprise) and he probably won't have much impact. What makes the Boston team different? A better Rajon Rondo, and guys that can explode off the bench (Tony Allen, Big Baby, Nate) and Sheed, who has actually played well lately. I think Boston takes it in 7.

Celtics just look awful. Just sloppy, stupid plays, no rebounding.

This is a horrible night for Boston sports. First the Red Sox lost to the Oakland Pathetics and now the Lakers are killing the Celtics.

3 things...
1. Are the Celtics going to stay in front of their man at all tonight and play any defense?
2. Rondo looks overwhelmed and isn't playing that top 5 point guard ball right now
3. Pierce has played like complete crap on defense
The Lakers are really over matching them right how. Kobe hasn't had to do anything.

Rondo is either Jason Kidd or playing like some scared child. There is no in-between with him lately. He should be beating Fisher every single possession. Garnett should be doing the same to Bynum, but I guess KG was the one who got his knee drained the other day, not Bynum.
They can win this, but this is ugly.

That's game. That is what you get when you come out flat and with no hustle.

Garnett's open miss from under the basket pretty much summed up how the Celtics played today.

Series is over in my opinion. Way over matched.
Just look at how easy it was for Gasol on more than 2/3 of his points. I'm not sure I ever saw KG take a high percentage shot that went in. He missed a few easy ones but those were the only high percentage shots he got. Gasol was cherry picking.
Did Ron Artest even break a sweat during all of that?
It looked like Rondo from 2008 out there tonight. It's a bit harder when your all star cast is equalized. I really don't want to hear the Jason Kidd comparisons but feel free to do so. Just a reminder, Jason Kidd was in the Finals multiple years, with Keith Van Horn and Kerry Kittles as options 1 and 2. Tell it like it is, Rondo wouldn't win 20 games with that.
