Bynum gets hurt every year of his career and currently has a torn MCL. BTW, don't do David Lee like that. He led the NBA in double doubles and is actually great for Toronto's system with even their Center Bargnani being a shooter. Bynum has also never played as a number 1, 2, 3 or 4th option. David Lee made the all star team as a Knick in this era, impossible. But hey, Garnett went for Al Jefferson... Jesus Christ calm down, I was insulting a family member. It was just an observation. Bynum has more potential than David Lee, not to mention he is signed. Lee would need to agree to resign with NY and want to go to Toronto to make it happen. Personally I like Lee, but why would the Raptors take him/his contract over someone like Bynum and his potential? That's all I am saying. I love the KG trade mention, been a few weeks since that. At least Jefferson is still in the league, what was Gasol traded for? Javaris Crittendon and a #1 pick? I am calm? I didn't know I was upset. Just saying, Bynum is great 40% of the time and is unproven outside of playing around an all star cast. Bargnani and Calderon are far from Gasol and Kobe. David Lee actually fits in with what they do. I'm not saying I'd do the deal either, just saying.

Yeah I would much rather have Lee than Bynum if I were the Raptors. You know what you're getting with Lee. He's one of the most consistent players in the entire league. While with Bynum you're getting the most injury prone player in the entire league.

Another thing is you know David Lee certainly will not quit in the worst of times for your team or Franchise. He'll just work harder and get better.
I'd love to keep him though if it's reasonable.

Id rather have Lee too, I think Bynums a stiff, but for a team like Toronto who is going to be a borderline lottery team next year, what will Lee give them? A semi star with a bloated contract, where as Bynum could be what they need, and they can let him develop.

To me, Bynum would be more valuable IF he could stay healthy. The fact that he can't makes Lee a better choice.
Until you consider that Lee is going to sign a 5-6 year, near-max deal. Ouch.

Who said Lee's contract is going to be bloated? He has a history of saying and then actually taking what he's worth. The Knicks had to give him MORE money last time as gratitude they felt he deserved.
Toronto isn't going to be a lottery team for certain. It's the East and that team had injuries to Calderon last year.
Toronto already has some money invested in that team. The better question is; who the hell is going to sign North of the border in this day? Good luck with that.
Bynum would be asking for a trade if he's playing up to potential knowing that market's history losing all of it's players and never attracting anything outside of the...
bloated contract of Hedo Turgolu

I'm also not so certain Bynum doesn't make them a lottery team either. Really now, it's not like he is used to taking 24 shots a night.
At least Lee can do that or accept less... all while giving you 20 rebounds more often than anyone and a few assists and steals.

Lee wouldnt take less money if he knew he was going to get dealt, I think his good soldier days are over with if he is being asked to be dealt, because it would have to be a sign and trade.
Toronto has Andrea Bargini, whatever they get for Turkoglu, Jose Calderon and David Lee.
That team could win the white guy awards, but its not making the playoffs.
Bynum is worse than Lee, but his potential is MUCH higher and he could develop while they suck, where as Lee is what he is. He needs to go to a team like San Antonio. Lee for Parker is perfect for both teams

Hope the Celtics play better in the next game. Please don't talk about the Gasol trade(worst trade ever for a Grizzlies fan)...

How silly of me to think that Game 2 was tonight. I was looking on the tv guide but couldn't find it lol. I then remembered that the NBA Finals takes forever.

If Lebron and Shaq walked through the doors of the Staples Center for the NBA Finals, they would be dunking all over Kobe and Bynum.

Also I wouldn't have traded Mike Miller and Jason Williams either... But the Grizz did do a lot better this year maybe they'll make a run at the playoffs next season. I've been a Grizzlies fan ever since they moved to Memphis and I love their logo/jerseys..

They gotta resign Rudy Gay first though. Some dumb team might offer him a massive contract and the Grizzlies can't match.
