Regarding the Thunder talk, I'm probably the only one besides the Thunder Announcers who's watched every Thunder Game; Etan Thomas is doing pretty good off the Bench. Chandler would definetly be an upgrade over Kristic who's been cold for a week, saying he stays healthy enough to play Kristic's Minutes.

John Hollinger article: As for Charlotte, this deal is questionable on their part, too. The Bobcats were desperate for offense, so this trade makes sense on that front, but it appears to be a short-sighted maneuver. The deal adds more than $20 million in future salary, salary the team had just unloaded in a previous trade of Emeka Okafor for Tyson Chandler. It takes Charlotte out of the 2011 free-agent market and likely pulls 2012 off the table for them, too. (They'll have $30 million committed to four players, plus a likely extension for D.J. Augustin, plus the contracts of any draft picks and signings between now and then.) I have to doubt the Bobcats were ever really 'in' the 2011 or 2012 free agent market.

His NBA knowledge starts and ends with scientific on-the-court data (including the brutal per-48 theory). Look at Sham Sports for a much better analysis of the 'Cats cap situation: www.shamsports.com/content/pages/data/salaries/bobcats.jspObviously, there are a hundred variables that go into figuring how much cap space they'll have 18 months from now, but to definitively count them out of any FA race in this NBA climate is jumping the gun. They are just as likely to ship Jackson out before then as they are to keep him, if you ask me.

It wasnt the best move for the Bobcats, they arent winning any time and did hurt their cap space in the future, not to mention Jackson is crazy and not worth the problems. Even in a straight salary dump the Warriors it up. If they got Memphis involved it would have been a 3 way trade for the worst front offices in the NBA

I think I stole that from Chad Ford earlier. Jennings fell to them, he should/could have been #2 if his "unique-ness" didnt scare teams off.

Charlotte needs a scorer like Jackson, so they'll just have to deal with his contract in the meantime.
Besides, even with Jackson, they'll be lucky to catch a scent of the eighth seed in the next couple years.
Golden State will benefit more from not having to put up with Jackson, but their team is still a mess and going nowhere fast.
Edit: I would throw in the Clippers, too, for worst front offices, with the exception of drafting Gordon and Griffin.

Oh wait, it goes to Utah no matter what...nice That trade giving Utah the pick was done by Isiah...unloading horrid contracts such as Howard Eisley, Antonio McDyess and others... granted we took on Marbury's insanity, but things are sitting pretty now so who can complain if you're a Knicks fan with their current state of affairs? Where is this credible news of them exploring Iverson? I heard last week Donnie Walsh ruled that out. Let's see a source please.... Anyway, I heard LeBron is unhappy with Cleveland management because they didn't get Jackson. : )

Speaking of worst management in recent NBA History... obviously Memphis is in there for handing Pau Gasol to the Lakers for nothing.
But I've gotta show love to the TimberWolves and Kevin McHale handing over Kevin Garnett to the Celtics for their JV Squad.... Have the Wolves even been within 20 games of the playoffs since that trade?

yea once again, he said he'd look into but "probably not"
I'm against it, we need to give PT to guys like Toney Douglas and more shots to guys that might be there next year.

Dirk with the game-winning fadeaway shot at the buzzer in overtime against Milwaukee.
He got a lucky shooter's roll with that one.

Celtics trading for Nocioni's contract is a bad move. Marquis Daniels is already there. Why take on 2 more years at that salary?
It's starting to all pan out like I said it would. Rondo's contract, now unneeded moves such as this? Really, I don't understand how this helps them further than this year, if it even does that much?
Why not just pay James Posey last off season afterthe championship if you're going do stuff like this?

Posey has proven he is washed up and is barely helping a terrible Charlotte team.
Nocioni is actually cheaper and contributing right now, and they are signed the same length of time.
The Celtics have a 2 year window to blow their payroll and do whatever it takes to win and then they deal with the rebuild. I like the Nocioni idea. I still hope it happens.

Even though I hate Noah, he's off to a great start this season.

Even though I hate Noah, he's off to a great start this season. I hate Noah more tahn anyone in this league....except Kendrick Perkins. I would trade Perkins and the entire bench for someone like Noah. Guy is a bitch, but he hustles and plays hard
