Everyone knows Kobe is a selfish a-hole. That's a dead horse. A lot of people are just now realizing it about Lebron, so it is more interesting to talk about.

Also I stopped reading that article in the second paragraph? What is this? The View's version?
Talk about a sensationalized, over dramatic and agenda driven personal attack over ONE game.
It's quite simple, it could be far worse. Just look at Kobe's career.
Meanwhile, we're sensationalizing Dirk yesterday and bashing LeBron the next day with that half merited crap.
But we can acknowledge that Dirk had 4 defensive rebounds in a close out game or that last night LeBron still had a slew of assists and was trying to get his team mates going from the start. Because they didn't get going last game, he realized that as a team player. Yet they let him down again. And he gets this bashing for being a team player who shot poorly in the 4th quarter?
There's so much flip flopping in your logic it betrays you.
Once again, I admit LeBron prob tanked it a bit. But he covered his tracks if so. Anybody who knows anything about basketball knows he was passing to his team mates to start the game. 3 assists in the first 4 possessions. Did you watch the game? Or are you just out to bash him?
Not to mention, once Boston knew those guys weren't showing up, it's all on LeBron... Who was still finding Shaq and LeBron shot poorly.
So you guys turn it into The View with Barbra Walters and run 10,000 miles with it.
Yet Dirk did no wrong and deserves no blame. Lol.
Yea ok. Nice try. Come back when LeBron makes a rap video or calls out his team mates and maybe this sensationalism is warranted. Otherwise you just look like a hater, yes. Because you are the one overplaying it.
Face value says so. About Kobe, about Dirk and about LeBron. Talk about face valu and leave your assumptions and feelings out of it.... because on face value, you've got nothing. And if you do, take the same sword to Kobe and Dirk... which you never have. So yea, I'd say your card is pulled.

Kobe and Dirk have nothing to do with this conversation, especially considering each of those two has been ripped to shreds in this forum many times in the past whereas LeBron has gotten to this point of his career relatively unscathed. All I know is Kobe has four rings and I've never seen Dirk take a game off before. LeBron mailed it in so egregiously, Michael Olowokandi sent him a congratulatory text after the game.

you can't claim that your supporting cast is weak and you aren't to blame when you only shoot 4 for 13 and don't show up.
LeBron can't even be claimed to have "choked" the game away because he didn't even show up to play. It's fvcking pathetic for a player of his stature.

LeBron isn't a problem like Kobe, but now the question becomes; would you rather have a more arrogant player who isn't the greatest teammate, but is just as clutch as MJ, and has the killer instinct no one comes close to in the NBA? Or would you rather have the great teammate whose not quite as clutch, and doesn't have the killer will.
LeBron is easily the best player in the NBA, but he has no one in Cleveland who would dare to let him know when he isn't playing his game. For someone who is only 25, that is very much needed.

with a record of 61-21, it's hard for me to believe that the Lebrone's supporting cast sucks
to get 60 wins is an accomplishment to your team, not to an individual

LeBron took a game off? Post his entire line and show me how he did that?
Looked to me like he took a step back from trying to dominate everything and got his team mates involved best he could.
Yet if he took over and lost, you'd all say he needs more help or whatever.
You can win with you, over LeBron. He's either a bad defender, arrogant, or tanking games. Right.
Apparently if he's not superman, he's a joke. If he's superman, he's selfish and arrogant.
I admit he looked less aggressive, but his old style of play got them run out of the gym by Orlando and Boston.
Results are the same,obviously.
This has nothing to do with Kobe or Dirk... because it points out holes in your biased logic.
I've had about enough of these silly talks. Continue with bashing the best player in the game and glorifying Dirk No-win-ski. Lol. Integrity.

It's fvcking pathetic for a player of his stature. name one player on Cleveland besides LeBron who would start or be a legitimate upgrade to Orlando, Boston or LA. Have you even watched basketball this decade? Honestly? Cleveland without LeBron would won 20 games. LA could still win the West arguably without Kobe. The basketball competence in this thread makes me wonder sometimes. BTW, MVP two years in a row. Best record in the league two years in a row and best player in the game. Take the same sword to the rest of the players in the league. Kobe went to game 7 against the Rockets last year without Yao. This Cavs Celtics isn't even over yet, that's the funniest part. You guys are like vultures who can't even wait for their prey to be dead. It just proves my point. What if he goes out and wins the next two and goes off? Will you all come back like uhhh durrrr nevermund lolz? Even so, best player in the game. No matter what happens.

Im whatever guy you want to paint me out to be. This is the Internet and I'm not saying anything I've seen contested with much merit, yet. It is what it is. And LeBron is the best in the game. Don't get mad at me if that contradicts your feelings. I mean no disrespect ( I was called intellectually- disabled yesterday, btw). I'm just talking ball.

LeBron tanked it last night. He smiled after the game. He acted like he could care less if they lost or won. He may be the best player in the game, but his attitude in this series is baffling very unlike the best player in the game.

It is a team sport. But in the playoffs sometimes teams have holes that render them beaten. No matter what LeBron does, he can't make Mo Williams, Jamison and West into Pierce, Allen, Rondo and Garnett.
Yet this makes him everything that glorified article said? Please.
This all comes the dat after I've been called intellectually- disabled for calling Dirk out for getting 4 defensive rebounds in a close out game in the first round when he has a cast LeBron could dream of.
That's all I'm getting at. Not so much your points... how contradictive and dellusional they are.
And I still admit some merit to your concerns. But yesterday Born To Run came off like the exact opposite about Dirk. No give, all his way or you're intellectually- disabled right? And he ignores the facts or won't ever acknowledge them...
But if I won't come out and say LeBron is all this half merited glorified, cosmopolitian-like content in thus article... I'm that guy? Yea ok.
Have fun with LeBron over the next ten years. I guess he's that bad that he's going to self destruct or never get it. Right, just take back those MVP's there's no hope for the future.

Although its a different situation, LeBron reminds me of Peyton Manning in a lot of ways. Until he wins a championship, the criticism wont stop. People used to get all over Manning the same way the media is on LeBron today. Many people have probably forgotten about that due to Manning finally winning a championship. Although winning 1 championship wont get him off the leash for the decade, it will definitely help from all the criticism in the playoffs.

LeBron was a non-factor in the 3rd when they came in only down 6 or 8. . . . so what if he had assists, the team needed him to score and he didn't. In the close out game of the SAS and Dallas series Dirk score 33. Besides, there's only been one game in the CLE/BOS series where Bron has shot better than 50%. Get off LeBron's nuts.

Oh man my last paragraph about face value was so good I highly doubt it'll ever get addressed No wonder you like Lebron James so much. Seriously, I mostlyy much agree with you about Dirk, and I kill Kobe, so how does your face value argument even apply to me? LeBron quit on his team last night, just like Kobe quit on his team in a game 7 I believe a few years back. I killed him for that too.
