Round 2 is split, no doubt, but how did Forrest win Round 1?

Sometimes I think arguing about fight outcomes are pointless because if you think about it we arent the judges and our opinions dont matter. I hate fights going to decision. It leaves too much arguing and debating. I like it when can clearly state that someone WON a fight and no one can deny it. Just me though...

Who caes if it was blocked it was still illegal on KOSs part. KOS didnt manipulate his way to a win. KOS won the fight. What did he manipulate Johnson into getting on the ground and tapping out too? aaaand Tito pretty much won round 1 and 2, so... Those rounds for me were soo close Yea Forrest won round 3 big time but IMO rounds 1 and 2 were so close and could have gone either way. But Forrest deffinatly deserved the win he earned it... I'm not denying Johnson having an illegal knee. Take his point. All I am saying, is Kos acted like the guy tried to rip his eye out, when he didnt even touch him. His over reaction and use of time to rest, as he was getting killed by Johnson's strikes. Yes Johnson tapped. But the fight was changed after Kos's over acting. Tito did not win round 2. Forrest's defense was obviously too good for Tito go anywhere with the takedowns. I see it like this. 1. Ortiz by a slight margin 2. Griffin 3. Griffin by domination I am pretty much agree with this. Giving Ortiz a slight margin in 1, gives Griffin a slight margin in 2. I dont think it was clear Griffin in 2. Only round 3 was there an absolutle clear cut domination.

the reason i say forrest got the first was because he escaped the takedown and landed some nice punches

Yea but you werent in the fit and you dont know all that went on. Maybe the knee that rammed his arm into his face hurt his eye you think of that? and NO he was not getting killed by Johnsons strikes. KOS landed more big blows than Johnson did...

Best performance of the night goes to Josh Koscheck for his Oscar worthy performance for his acting/selling of the "eye" injury. What a bullsh*tter he is.

Can you imagine what Tito would say if he ever fought Anderson Silva? ? Silva would knock his 50 pound head into the 9th row and it wouldn't be Tito without excuses so what do you think he would say? He and Jenna got too freaky and he threw his back out? He saw Chuck Liddell outside the cage and it scared him so bad Silva was able to get a lucky shot? Silva's elusiveness threw him off to the point where he thought he was fighting a ghost?

Were you kneed in the head? Nope and neither was Koscheck. He clearly blocked it and the knee made no contact with his face/head. Then, he proceded to fake an eye injury with the incorrect eye that was apparently injured from the start. Like I said, he's a bullsh*tter and he only used that phoney injury to get a breather.

They replayed it several times and even Joe Rogan was caught believing it when he first saw it, but after seeing it a couple more times, even he knew the knee didn't hit.

In Tito's defense... He doesn't get finished by anyone but Chuck Liddell.
I still love his antics and everything, but he has to be the biggest whining, crybaby that there is in MMA. It's unbelievable how going into every fight, he's "in the best shape of his life," and after every fight, suddenly he "was injured in training."
What a joke.

as for koscheck and rumble... koscheck clearly took that knee as a chance to take a breather. at the same time, he won legitimate with the choke. and even with strikes, i thought kos was outclassing rumble. shame, i wanted rumble to win... but i do give it up to koscheck. the greek guy... george metropolis or whatever the blue ... im drunk and too lazy to look up his name... was brilliant on the ground. sadollahs kicks were fantastic, baroni was pretty much a punching bag for the last 12 and a half minutes. saunders looked good vs hand grenade... grove lucked into that submission vs the guy from oklahoma state whos name i forget... and lil nog was an animal. i agree with wanting to see rua beat machida... again... to see rua/lil nog 2.
